Crown Air conditioning Ltd

Have used Crown twice for AC installation. Fantastic job both times.

First class advice, workmanship and people.

Updated review: 2 years later, we used Crown again but this time to extend our existing system. Another fantastic install, same as before, and still very very happy with the job that was done and the approach of the team! Original review: Absolutely flawless install from a great team, I'm so genuinely chuffed with the quality of the work and the attitude of the entire team throughout. Not only the neatness of the install but the cleanliness both inside and out...totally spotless. Dealing with Crown from start to finish has been nothing but a complete breeze. A highly professional and friendly outfit. I cannot recommend them highly enough, not even 5 stars cuts it. My sincere thanks to all the team.

This company is outstanding and I highly recommend. Mat was brilliant. He was polite , personable and happy to answer all of our questions. Mat also gave good advice on the unit to choose. The fitting was done by a young lady called Tracy who was absolutely fantastic. I have never seen a job so neat and I am super fussy. They are also registered Daikin fitters so this helps with any issues further down the line with the unit itself.

Highly recommend this company. I was so anxious about the mess that may happen during installation but was shocked as the guys were so amazing they cleaned up as they worked leaving not a spec of dust They installed everything perfectly I appreciate the great work that was done professionally

From booking the inspection to the installation, everything went really smoothly. The team was super responsive, nice, and friendly throughout the whole process. The installation was done perfectly, and I’m really happy with the result. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable air conditioning solutions!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM CROWN AIR CONDITIONING We had an excellent experience with Crown Air Conditioning, thanks to the professionalism and expertise of Mat and James. From the very first contact, they were responsive, courteous, and clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Mat walked me through the options available to us and provided honest recommendations without any pressure. Both Mat and James handled the installation and fine-tuning with great care, ensuring everything was running smoothly before they left. Their teamwork was seamless, and they treated our home with respect—leaving everything spotless. What really impressed us was their punctuality, transparency, and commitment to providing us a quality service. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated and easy to work with. We highly recommend Crown Air Conditioning to anyone wanting a trustworthy, efficient, and top class company. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent service, fast, efficient and great value

Really happy with the installation. Spent some time fine-tuning the location of the units with the team (who turned up on the dot). Then from that point on, they got on with the job, went through the commissioning process with me, and explained every feature of the system. We also went through the Samsung SmartThings app. All in all the installation could not have gone much better.

Crown fitted an air con unit in our hairdressers. Arrived on time excellent workmanship and tidied up when they’d finished. Would highly recommend them.

Excellent experience dealing with Mat and his team from initial contact to installation. It took just two days to install everything and the team was professional, courteous and very tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company!

The guys at Crown AC are amazing - they completed full AC nstallatiin at our home a few years ago and it has worked brilliantly . The set up was perfect and so elegant . They were at pains to suggest the right solutions and were so helpful guiding us along the way. The after sales service and maintenance is also excellent. I can’t recommend them enough. We recently installed an extra AC we hadn’t realised we needed and the team were brilliant in supporting an ingenious installation approach which has worked so well - without impacting the aesthetics of the room at all. Just brilliant. Also to mention all the pipework and external units are positioned really neatly - they went the extra mile to do so !!! 5 stars from us !

I have worked with Mat and his team for over 5 years on dozens projects of ours. They are just a fantastic team and always a pleasure to work with. Crown Air help with all technical questions, give valuable advise and have great presence on site.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Mat was very knowledgeable in offering the best solution for our business and spent time going through various options. The team were highly courteous, professional and hard working throughout the installation phase and the work carried out to a brilliant standard. Superb!

We recently had Crown Air Conditioning handle the installation of our new Air Conditioning system, I couldn't be happier with the service! The team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took the time to answer all my questions and ensured everything was set up perfectly. We went for a complex multi split system comprising of wall units and ducted, the units are smart home compatible and controlled from your smart phone anywhere. The system cools and heats throughout the property perfectly. I highly recommend Crown Air Conditioning for anyone looking for reliable HVAC services. Great Job!

Great service from Crown AC, thank you

UPDATED: I approached Matthew for a job. At first he was very courteous and helpful. He came to site twice to provide a quote (because the house was not yet ready) and the the third time to start work. When he started the work, we agreed that another approach was required. I questioned the price ( we went from getting a cassette to a wall mounted unit which seemed to be less work and cheaper) and from then onwards he seemed to change. I emailed him with questions about the new approach and he replied saying: ' The internet prices are disproportionate to the prices we charge. The materials and labour charges are factored into our costs. I think the best way forward is for us to work out a cost for works completed to date and refund you the difference. You can then source another contractor that will work for you labour only and you can buy the equipment direct from the internet. ' I tried to call him several times to discuss it as I didn't want to use another contractor (because this would delay all other trades- I couldn't start plastering without the wiring being done) and he refused to pick up my calls and ignored me. Based on his response below it seems he was annoyed that I asked for clarification on the quote and then unilaterally decided to leave the job after starting the work. He then decided to keep £500 (without discussing how this related to the work completed). I had legitimate questions about the price and approach and instead of taking the time/ have the decency to talk to me Matthew pulled out the job with no explanation (apart from the one given below, which is that he was annoyed that I questioned the price). I ended up getting the job done with someone else who was far more transparent and provided a better price, explaining how it was broken down. But this delayed me by nearly 3 weeks and resulted in extra costs as we had to get the plastering team in again. I have been building my house for nearly 8 months and decided to leave this review at the end because my experience with crown has been the worst of any tradesperson I used as they left the job without having the decency to tell me why and leaving me to scramble to find another supplier, delaying my build. Poor service that left me in the lurch and very unprofessional.

Crown Air Conditioning are a great company with a friendly team who have insightful knowledge about their trade. We had two units put into our house in the kitchen and bedroom whilst doing other work on our house. The installation was seamless with very tidy workmanship, we were very satisfied from start to finish of the job. If you’re looking for reliable, skilled, and customer-focused AC professionals, I highly recommend them.

Very friendly & reliable company, we have used Crown for all our A/C needs throughout our house renovations and each time they have been on time and very respectful, the engineers are polite, knowledgeable and nothing is too much for them, particularly impressed with how clean and tidy they are when working in finished areas of our property. Great to see they also employ female engineers in a male dominated industry - We would recommend Crown Air Conditioning Ltd S Facey - Caterham

Matt and the team fitted a lovely air conditioning unit into the our kitchen and we couldn’t be more pleased. His team were on time, clean and talked me and my wife through the whole process from start to finish. Quote was on budget and I’m we can’t believe we waited this long to have air con! Thanks you gentlemen!

WOW , unbelievable service from start to Finish. From my initial call to Crown air conditioning i was amazed with the customer service from office staff who booked in a site visit. We then had a site visit from a very professional engineer who advised me on what’s best for my requirements. The installation went smoothly with minimal disruption my house was left cleaner than ever Could not have picked a better company for our works 10/10 thank you Crown air con.

Mat and his team always give an above and beyond service. An amazing, honest and kind crew. Nothing is ever too big or to small for them to fix.

It’s several years since Crown installed our system, so this review is well overdue. Crown were amazing and honest during the design phase, recommending to install one unit with hidden venting, instead of separate units. They were accommodating during a difficult house build, and stayed on quote for the project. Other companies who quoted, had crazy additional prices, but Crown were honest and great value. I would recommend this company, and have, to anyone thinking of getting air conditioning installed.

Matt and his team at Crown are exceptional. They have fitted three different units across three separate locations for me and I am highly delighted with their recommendations. Their service from quotation through to installation was seamless and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Mat and the rest of the team at Crown were great to deal with. Super responsive, very reasonably priced compared to other quotes we had had and were happy to work around the rest of the builders and our much delayed timetable etc!

Excellent team! Very helpful - know what they are doing and did a very tidy job! 😊 would recommend

My builder and I were very impressed with Crown A/C. They worked very hard to provide us with 2 suitable A/C units within our budget, and worked well with the builders to figure out the best place to fir the outdoor condenser. The work is all top quality and I am really pleased with my 2 A/C units which can heat/cool the room efficiently. The outdoor unit is basically silent, and the quality of the work was first rate. They didn't leave any marks anywhere, and the pipework - which was complicated in my case looks to have been done very professionally and securely. I couldn't be happier with the product and level of service.

We were super impressed with Crown A/C! Their team is extremely professional and efficient. They (and their building partner) installed 2 A/C units inside and a unit outside in only 1.5 days. It was great working with them and I highly recommend them!

Crown did a great job on the air-conditioning installation earlier this week. From the outside it looks really smart, exactly as how we hoped, and inside everything was really well done with plenty of care and left clean.

Really professional installers, they worked very hard and got the job done as soon as they could. The work is neat and tidy. The air conditioning works really well as a heat source, I’m sure it will also be perfect if we have another super hot summer!

What a fantastic experience! From start to finish the whole process of A/C installation was easy & professional. Communication was excellent and there was great attention and care given to my property, including tidying up and even helping me put my bookshelf back into place. I would highly recommend.

The team at crown were fantastic from start to finish. Thorough and informed when building our quote, communicative and tidy throughout the job and the finish was top quality with the least intrusion to our property. Would highly recommend.

Great outfit. Highly professional from quote to completion.

Mat, Kevin and the team were absolutely fantastic. They were efficient, tidy, expert at their jobs. The installation went seamlessly and completed on time. Provided an incredibly discrete solution for our master bedroom and other rooms / kitchen. The ducting has been installed very neatly. The whole team incl. electricians were very good at solving any problems with how to work around our period property and very professional. Also could not be more impressed with how well the walls were recovered! It was as if they were never there. Would use again and will recommend to friends.

Crown air conditioning have been our service provider for both installations and maintenance since they incorporated in 2007. I have worked with Mat the director since 2003. Always a fast and reliable service and I would strongly recommend them.

We Met Elliott to discuss our requirements he was very polite and professional and quickly provided a specification at a price that was very competitive. The work was scheduled for November 2022. We found the fit team to be very polite, friendly and professional whilst performing the installation, which was completed without hitch and very quickly. The standard of the installation is superb and cannot be faulted. We were keen for the exterior services to be discreet which has been the case and we are delighted. We would not hesitate to recommend Elliott and Crown Air Cond.

Crown AC have really impressed me with their customer service and after care. Recently we had a part fail, they got it replaced under warranty and had it fixed. Left our premisses clean and tidy after their work. Happy to use them for all our future AC needs. A real professional outfit who care about their customers

Mat and his team were first class in every respect. They were professional, polite, courteous and friendly. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I would highly recommend this company, Got exactly what they said they would do, Punctual, excellent installers (who cleaned up as they went, and spent time explaining everything and really cared about doing a good job) Much impressed.

Excellent service from start to finish. Provided clear information on options and prompt quote. Installation team were friendly, tidy, efficient and worked non-stop. The quality of the install was superb - I was particularly impressed by how neatly all the pipes and cables were installed, and the clean lines of the trunking used to contain all the external pipework .. a much better looking installation than many others I have seen! Will definitely use the team again for the remaining rooms that need air con at home. Highly recommend.

Very professional service from start to finish, great product, good value. Would use again and highly recommend.

Great service and competitive prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else for air con units! Highly recommended!

We were delighted with the professionalism, courtesy, timeliness and quality of the work undertaken. We highly recommend the entire crew and would definitely use them again.

Have used Crown for a number of years for both service and installation. Always impressed by their professionalism. They provide accurate advice and quotes as well as being tidy! Couldn't ask for more.

We were very happy with the service provided in installing an air conditioning unit in our office this Summer. Good communication, professional, fast, tidy and good value. Very happy to recommend Crown Airconditioning.
