AM Heating

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an air source heat pump installed for our five-bedroom house, supplying five bathrooms, as well as air conditioning installed in our summer house. The service from AM Heating & Renewable was exceptional from start to finish. The team was highly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and the quality of their workmanship was outstanding. Everything was completed to a very high standard, the installation was neat and well organised, and they took the time to explain how everything worked. We are extremely impressed with the results and would highly recommend AM Heating & Renewable to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled heating and renewable energy company. Thank you for an excellent job!

Alex recently replaced my boiler and he proved exactly why he comes so highly recommended. This was a complex job that took a full day of careful work and installation. Alex was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. He explained everything clearly, worked thoroughly and patiently, and made sure the entire system was running perfectly before he left. You can really see the pride he takes in doing a proper job, not just a quick one. It’s such a comfort knowing I can trust him with big, complicated work like this. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone needing boiler installation, heating work, or any plumbing and gas services. Highly, highly recommended!

Alex was great! Quick turnaround and he was able to fix our aircon unit

I called Alex last week as our under floor heating had stopped working. He came at 9am the very next day. He fixed the problem in under an hour. I then mentioned that ever since we'd had the house renovated we'd always had issues with things not being quite right. We have always had to top the boiler up every few weeks. I've had three different people round to try and solve this, one of who cost A LOT of money but no one could fix it. Alex got his tools back out and found that when the boiler was installed, a switch had not been removed causing the issue. He managed to solve a problem three other plumbers couldn't and we now, finally. have a fully working boiler and central heating system that I don't have to top up every three weeks. His invoice was reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend. Thank you Alex, you're a rockstar.

Highly recommend great service

Alex was great! He was able to come the morning I called. Very professional and was able to offer a cost efficient way of fixing our boiler.

If you’re reading this, yes you should work with Alex. For example, our boiler broke recently and he was there the same day despite having a job elsewhere. He then came back with a new pump that same afternoon after having diagnosed that it was faulty, and he came in to check with us the next day. He’s very professional and responsive and we’ve had several similar experiences with him.

With AM Heating, you know that when you call Alex, the proprietor, that he will be sure to respond as soon as he can. Even when heavily scheduled (as he occasionally is) he always finds time to jump on a call to help diagnose/solve minor issues. In a crowded trades market, his level of service sets him apart.

Alex helped us understand whether an air source heat pump versus a boiler would be right for our home. We appreciated his deep knowledge of both, and his attention to detail and consideration for our home when installing a new boiler.

I have never met before an engineer such as this man. Alex is a consummate professional and takes a great pride in his work and in the detail. A replacement condensing boiler was fitted, with a new flue and plume and the condensate frame was repositioned and enlarged. Care was taken to diagnose the stresses the previous boiler had suffered to cause its failure and preventative measures volunteered and taken to avoid repetition. Any small messes that arise were carefully cleaned, all old holes in walls were filled and all waste cleared from site … all in the one visit !! This gentleman is a craftsman and an interesting character as well, I could not have felt in safer hands and it was a delight to have him at work in my house. I cannot recommend him highly enough … let him do the work for you, you absolutely shall be delighted that you did !! Nic

Flawless service in terms of competence and timing to solve an emergency issue with my boiler! I used AM Heating & Renewable in the past and I strongly recommend them.

If you have found this company, you're very lucky. They are specialists who know about boilers, are very sincere, repair things the best that they can be repaired and don't upsell new boilers. I've used them for about 20 years and was recommended to them by another tradesman I know well. It seems to be that all a good trades people know each other. They always lovely when they come round and very personable. Also my first choice when I'm going to recommend a boiler person to a friend. They can be a bit busy but definitely worth the wait. However when I did have an urgent problem they were able to move quickly as it was needed. It's nice to work with people who really care on and not just talk.

Alex from AM Heating has been helping me with boiler and heating issues now for several years. He has solved various tricky intermittent problems during this time, never giving up until the problem has been completely resolved, rather than simply advising me to buy a new boiler. He is knowledgeable and professional and always does a great job without cutting any corners. He is also a really lovely person, friendly, unfailingly pleasant and very polite.

Had a boiler leak, Alex fixed it next day. Came when promised, called from the property to explain the problem and the repair. Very grateful.

Alex serviced the solar hot water system & boiler in my flat recently. Unlike another company who were pushing me to get a new boiler; Alex advised me the boiler should be ok for a little longer and assured me parts were still available should it break down for any reason. It is refreshing to be given good honest advice. I found Alex to be reliable, professional, reassuring and personable. I will definitely be using Alex going forward to service my heating and solar hot water to keep it in good working order. I’ve recommended him without hesitation to my neighbours. Thanks again Alex.

Have a broken down boiler. Very profession advise and timely response.

Received great and prompt service from Alex. He was very professional. Bonus points to him for also not being messy, worked very carefully. Thank you Alex. Definitely will recommend you to all my friends!!
