Dorset Appliance Repairs

I have used Stefan from Dorset Appliance Repairs several times now. He always responds quickly, attends promptly and solves the problem every time. An excellent service at a reasonable price and saving many appliances from the dump :)

Amazing service and really helpful

Advice on phone which worked so no charge

Brilliant work, highly recommend .

I am so satisfied with the service next day delivery of my new Fridge Freezer and was all done with in 45 mins hassle free. Thankyou to Stepn lovely man and was very swift and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend Dorset appliance repairs. Thankyou very much Christine.

I used Dorset Appliance Repair twice for my Sage coffee machine, the first time was when I unboxed my machine from storage which hadn’t been used for 4 years, Stefan was very concerned it could be an expensive repair for me as it did not start to give him an idea of what it could be, but he got running due to a faulty relay. Then a week later it leaked everywhere due to a plastic tee joint becoming brittle, once again repaired and up running. Good service and I would recommend him.

Good communication & great service . Managed to fix my coffee machine with some new parts and avoid costly replacement and more landfill. Recommended

Quick and reliable service. Very happy that my washing machine is working again. Thank you!

Very prompt and rapid attention with first class repair all carried out and delivered in 3 days. This was for a coffee machine which suddenly died. Will definitely use again. Brilliant

Excellent service all round. Prompt, efficient, reliable and friendly. I was kept in informed from the moment the appointment was made. Given very good advice on the care of washing machines too.

My Sage coffee machine is like new! Working better than ever

Professional, serious and reliable Thank you Mr Stefan.🤝

A great service and good prices. Was so pleased my Sage coffee machine wasn’t terminal and that it got a new lease of life! Thank you so much 😊

Within 24 hours of contacting the company our Neff oven problem was diagnosed. A replacement part was ordered and within another couple of days it was fixed. Really friendly, professional service, with constant ETA updates via text message. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our sage coffee machine stopped working and we found Stefan on Google. We messaged him and he immediately responded and had our machine fixed within 24h for a reasonable price. Very good communication and transparency. Thank you.

Quick respond and very helpful , great job, all sorted now

Excellent service from Dorset Appliance Repair. From the initial call to the completed repair took just 4 days. The part was ordered on Monday, arrived on Wednesday, and the repair was completed early Thursday morning. Communication throughout was excellent, keeping us informed every step of the way. Fast, professional, and reliable service — highly recommended.

Amazing service! Dropped a Sage Barista Express off to be repaired and picked it up 2 days later. Now its working better than ever!

Excellent, reliable and highly professional service. I can confidently recommend Dorset Appliance Repairs. After diagnosing failed oven elements, I was given clear repair options that worked within my budget. The parts were sourced promptly and the repair was carried out quickly and at a time that suited me, with minimal disruption. What stood out even more was the honesty. When I later enquired about replacing bearings in my washing machine, I was advised that it wouldn’t be an economical repair due to the labour involved. Having since taken it on myself, I can fully appreciate that assessment — the job required several hours to strip down, clean, replace components, and reassemble. That transparency saved me from an unnecessary expense and reinforced my trust in their advice. A genuinely trustworthy and customer-focused service — knowledgeable, efficient, and refreshingly honest.

Stephan absolutely brilliant. He inspected the faulty element on my cooker on Wednesday, ordered a new element, & by Friday it was was fitted. Could not wish for better service. I recommend him unreservedly.

A well-deserved five stars for Stephan from Dorset Appliance Repairs who quickly identified the fault with our 20+ year old Miele washing machine and had the faulty part ordered and replaced in a jiff. How refreshingly nice to meet such a capable person who really knows his stuff. Well recommended

Stephen was quick and efficient. He found the problem right away. He showed us how to order the parts and he came back when they arrived to fit them. Great service, highly recommend 👌

I contacted Dorset Appliance Repairs as my freezer not working. Stephen was very helpful and I would definitely recommend them and use them again

Quick very polite, explained everything he did Cam highly recommend.woild be happy to use them again.

Do not approach. Very aggressive man. Filament in our grill went. Had this guy come round scan the oven brand, find two options (within 2 minutes) (and I would of been happy to even share that info without having to make the journey). I said I need to talk to my wife about and he started demanding £40 for a call out fee which was not shared at any point. After refusing to pay that as that is totally unreasonable IF NOT TOLD ABOUT IT, he got very shirty storming out of the house being incredibly rude. If I had just had a moment to chat to my wife I would have booked them. But my goodness. UPDATE FROM REPLY: Do not trust this reply. No. Professional repair companies do not charge a call out fee as standard, but if it was mentioned I would have been very happy to pay. It was not in anyway mentioned and I could have simply provided the model and had already communicated the issue. So it was not a call out. Rudeness. Both my wife and my mother was appalled at the behaviour. You didn't wave the fee, you simply stormed off, hurling rude claims. I have not met such an entitled, arrogant and disappointing tradesman in my life. I have since heard from two others of the same effect as to my experience with this person. Again, I do not recommend approaching in anyway.

Excellent, fast service to fix our broken washing machine. Can't recommend more highly!! Thanks for getting us back up and running

I contacted Stephen to repair my father in laws washing machine. He came the next day and sorted it for him. A good price, excellent service, polite and would certainly recommend him. We will be using this company again .

We were fortunate enough to contact Stephan on the Thursday late afternoon & he was with us by 11am Friday morning. Stephen solved the issues with both our washing machine and tumble dryer within an hour & charged a very reasonable price. Look no further for your appliance repairs, very professional and knowledgeable guy. Thank you Stephen 👍

Very prompt professional service and reasonably priced would use again. Thanks

Just great customer service! Kitchen Extraction stripped and fixed within the hour just amazing service.

Great company .. old school .. they don’t charge astronomical fees for unnecessary call outs if they can fix giving advice which is what happened with my washing machine .. BEKO .. thank you 👏

Very knowledgeable. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and order the replacement part. I like that he gave worst case scenario and the potential cost but actually came in significantly less! So was a good surprise. Very good at communicating when he would come. Definitely recommend him. You can see he works really hard and cares about his job.

Fastest service ever, from phone call to fixing, within an hour. A truly local service. Stephen was polite, professional and went above and beyond. Highly recommended 🙂

Brilliant, efficient service and so speedy! Stefan called within 2 hours of us reporting an integral larder fridge not working. As it was not repairable a replacement was ordered, delivered and fitted by the following afternoon - old one removed and disposed of - all for a very reasonable charge. Would not hesitate to use again should the need arise, straightforward and such quick work, thank you Stefan

My oven was fixed within an hour of my call. Super fast and efficient service at a reasonable cost. Would absolutely use this service again.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable, professional and tidy. Really good communication regarding visit dates and times. Can highly recommend.

Amazing service and advice . Spoke via phone / text and diagnosed fault without even looking which was something that I could fix my end . Thank you for your honesty and advice . Highly recommend

Dorset Appliance Repairs were fantastic. Stefan quoted a price over the phone, arrived when he said he would, and carried out the fix. Brilliant service and we will be using them again in future.

Having used Stefan on many occasions after repairing the seemingly unrepairable, this is not the case. My belief is that if he can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed. I always call him first and have never been disappointed. Oh yes, and a really nice guy…👍

Excellent work and nice guy! Machine had some issues after being fixed and he came back and sorted quickly.....couldn't ask for more Will be definitely using him for any issues in the future

Could not recommend more. On three separate occasions, on short notice, Dorset Appliance Repairs has saved our bacon, including fixing our oven three days before Christmas! Polite, prompt and very knowledgeable.

I had an issue with a broken oven light - Stefan came out the same day and fixed it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Stefan was quick, efficient and tidy. Would definitely recommend him.

Amazing! Polite. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Swift response time. Highly recommend 👍 thank you!

This is the 1st time I have used this service. My oven needed repairing. Stefan arrived when he said he would to diagnose the fault, messaged me when the replacement parts arrived, quickly arranged an appointment to install them, and again arrived when he said he would. I would use him again 100%

Foned Stephan on Thursday to fit a new element in the oven, came the next day , what a service will def use again, thanks again .

Excellent service, got a next day appointment. Arrived on time, fixed my oven very quickly and for a great price. Would definitely recommend and won’t hesitate to call again.

This is the 2nd time we have had Stefan out to repair the oven door which I’m all fairness we broke. What a super fast efficient service. No hassle no mess left behind and responded to our calls. A genuinely nice guy would not hesitate to recommend his services to others. And extremely reasonably priced. Thank you Stefan.

Washing machine repair sorted out very quickly .Excellent service very courteous and on time .

5* service from Stefan at Dorset Appliance Repairs! He came round to see my faulty fridge very quickly ,,, it couldn’t be repaired, so he replaced it and took my old fridge away within a day or so. Very reasonable rates, and I will definitely use his services again!

Made it look easy to replace my washing machine door seal. I had looked at videos to do it myself. I'm glad I didn't do it. It looks simple but there are some simple mistakes that a novice makes that then it becomes hard. Much better to get a professional to do it. Thanks 👍

Turned up early than expected the next day. Polite, clean, sorted the problem and checked over the machine. Would recommend and use again. Experienced appliance mechanic at a reasonable price. What else do you need?

I cannot rate Dorset Appliance Repairs highly enough. Woke up to a dead Beko washing machine and Stefan sorted it out and was able to help in little to no time. Fantastic service. Photo of the now powered machine attached!

We highly recommend Dorset Appliance Repairs. Great friendly professional service. Poweron Electrical LTD

Fantastic, prompt and friendly service

Fantastic service all round for a not straight forward job, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Stephen attended to troubleshoot a Gaggenau wine fridge not cooling. Diagnosed leak of cooling gas. He said needed to take away to dismantle and repair which he did right away. Returned a week or so later having identified two leaks and repaired them by brazing aluminium (quite rare skill!). Reinstalled and all working fine. Very sensible price too. Amazing service!

Phoned up at about 15.00 to request assistance with washing machine displaying an error code that wouldn't go away. He called me back within 5 minutes, listened to my description of the problem & offered to turn up after 17.00 ie A MERE 2 hours after my initial call Stefan turned up as promised, fixed the problem, kept me fully informed throughout and washing machine is now working properly. Extremely reasonable pricing too I really recommend this guy

Called Stefan at 9am, by 11am he had been, identified the issue, and replaced the faulty part in my tumble dryer. Super nice guy and very professional, will definitely use again.

Unbelievable service, called at 8.20am and was round and fixed by 10am same day, professional and friendly, highly recommend

Fast and prompt service and easy to use online booking system. Very happy with the level of service I received and will definitely be using Dorset Appliance Repairs again in the future for appliance repairs.

Expensive washing machine broke, Stefan came out within 24 hours, not worth repairing as cost too much, he gave me very helpful advice which resulted in a refund from the retailer! Very happy thank you so much!

Came and repaired the heating element on our fan oven. Called Tuesday afternoon. Was with us in less than 24 hours. Was with us 15 minutes and cost less than quoted. Recommend

Incredible service. Told me over the phone what the problem could be with our electric fire and which part to buy. Did what they said and problem solved. Hats off to them for not being money grabbing. We will use them again.

Quick and efficient

Prompt efficient service. I would highly recommend Stefan - he arrived on time, gave a quote for replacing my ceramic hob and fitted it within a week.

Washing machine repaired at time of visit. All fine and fair price.

The person I spoke to clearly explained the cost of call out and repair. However on discussing the problem, it became clear the issue was not repairable. This honesty saved me any call out fees. I would use them again.

No response either from telephone call or mail. Disappointed.

Great work, fixed the problem in no time for a very reasonable price. Definitely would use again.

If you are searching for someone to fix your cooker… From initial contact to completion of job, my experience was superb. Very quick appointment, text updates on arrival time and booking reminder, the job itself was really quick, made quicker by having part available, no mess, friendly chap, excellent value. Highly recommended.

Very efficient Tidy and Punctual

My fairly new washing machine kept sounding an alarm as hard water had affected the water flow. I phoned Dorset Appliance Repairs and Stefan provided an excellent service, he came out within 24 hours of calling, kept me updated with text messages. He then ordered the relevant part, fitted it and now my machine is working. What a great service, I recommend!

Messaged Stefan as had an issue with my washing machine - prompt responses and he came out next day to visit. Unfortunately the machine was beyond repair but he was able to source us a new machine, fit it and take away the old one the next morning - an absolute life saver. Very friendly and professional would definitely recommend

Quick to attend great service, a big thank you. Jon

Fantastic service, emailed around 8pm after my oven was not heating up. Was contacted within an hour to book a call in and offered a slot the the next day. Stephen messaged beforehand to let me know he was on his way, had the right part on his van and completed the job within half an hour. I couldn't ask for anything else, thank you!

Friendly and professional service. Job done quickly.

Fan wasn’t working on my oven. Called up in the morning at 9am and my oven was repaired by 14.40pm the same day! Great service. Lovely engineer. Would recommend

Stephan came to fix our dishwasher and was so lovely. He found out the issue straight away which was something stuck in the filter. He explained how to maintain the dishwasher so issues like this wouldn't happen again and showed me how to put the skirting board back. He was very polite, professional and fixed the issue very quickly. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely delighted with Stephen. Came within a few hours and fixed a probem with the door that I thought would need spares ordering . . . but no! He had a hinge that almost matched and reshaped it so that it did. Outstanding. Can't recommend highly enough - 6 stars!

Honest and reliable service. Pricing was very clear and reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend.

My new go to plumber! Highly recommended :)

Very good service highly recommended

Professional, fast, friendly, honest, trustful , fair price ! And lot of other positive words about this team ! Saved my time, my money! I don't have enough words to thank them for service. Recommend 200%

Great service , we used Dorset Appliance Repair to fix our optimyst fire . Can’t fault the service highly recommend

Called Stefan Tuesday afternoon, he came to look at our faulty washing machine the next day. After some troubleshooting he advised due to the age of the device and fault it would be cheaper to get a new one. Great service, and a nice guy as well, would def recommend.

Very professional service

Fast, efficient, good service overall. Would definitely use again

TIME WASTER! Scheduled an appointment on a Friday, to come the following Tuesday between 10am - 2pm. However, he never showed up! I sent a text on the Tuesday morning to confirm they were still coming, no reply. I tried calling, no answer. We were waiting in all day for him to show but he never did! Absolute waste of time.

Fantastic. Quick, clean. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Great service

Great response from Stephen in fixing the problem with my dryer. Would definately recommend.

I called Dorset Appliance Repairs on behalf of my elderly parents, whose cooker just packed up unexpectedly. I called and spoke with Stefan in the afternoon and booked for him to come and take a look between 10am-2pm the next day. Stefan obviously appreciated my parents were a little vulnerable as on inspection he called me to explain the issues and recommendations. Turns out the cost of the repair for their old oven meant it would make more economical sense just to get a new oven which my parents were happy with. I spoke with Stefan at 2pm and agreed the replacement of the oven. At 3pm he called me back to let me know he'd picked up the oven and was on his way back to my parents to fit it. By half past 3 I had another call from to Stefan to say it had been fitted! Super super impressed with how quickly he got it all sorted. Having had previous oven issues myself, and having them take over a week to get resolved, Stefan clearly goes above and beyond for his customers. He was really friendly and responsive, like the updates by text to confirm the appointment and notification when he's on his way and the way he handled the situation with my vulnerable parents by keeping me in the loop throughout was brilliant. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future. Thanks again.

First time I have used Dorset Appliance Repairs and I will certainly use them again and recommend them to all my friends. Definitely a 5 star company.

Fantastic service

Stefan has always responded quickly and done a great job at all of our properties. I feel really confident sending him to my elderly parents who always rave about how efficient and kind he is.

Arrived, no mask, didnt introduce himself. Said as I didnt have the error code theres nothing he can do- without even looking at the machine!!!!! Waste of time

Great service. Fixed the washing machine. Would definitely recommend.

Google asking for a review. Not visited the premises, only the website in order to contact them. Still waiting for a reply several days later... Edit to respond to the lie presented below - you have never called me. I've never spoken to you and we've never had "an appointment hour" as we've never spoken to make an appointment. Don't know why you are lying. Are you confusing me with someone else? Either way, your manner here does not present you in a good light. Very bad for a business and I wouldn't use your services now even if you did call me.

No response from phone or internet having tried both twice. There may be a good reason why this is so, but it is still very poor customer service. Needless to say I have gone elsewhere for my emergency freezer repair 👎

Quick and super efficient service. Took the time to show me the problem. Thank you

Good Service Recommended

Outstanding service, and extremely efficient. Called with a broken oven at 4pm and by 5:30 it was fixed! Couldn’t quite believe this was all done the same day! Thank you!

Fantastic service. Our oven's heating element died an hour ago and these guys wasted no time hurrying over to help. Super quick response and lovely people. Can't recommend them enough!

Highly recommend. Professional, polite and punctual. Diagnosed the problem and repaired same day, without any delay. Reasonably and honestly priced. Thank you!

So glad I chose to use Dorset Appliance Repairs. Arranged an appointment within 24 hours. He was on time, polite and very quickly sorted out my cooker problem. It didn't cost the earth either. Thank you so much :)

I would definitely recommend Dorset Appliance Repairs. He came out that day and fixed our cooker there and then. He was polite, friendly and professional. Thanks Stephen.

Steven was efficient, courteous and good value. It was nice to deal with someone genuinely local rather than via a national company.

Stefan always tries his best to come the same day and has always managed to repair our appliances at a very reasonable price.

Great customer services

Superb service fixed my fridge and dishwasher

Stefan is excellent. He answered our email promptly even though it was a Sunday (why is it these things always happen at weekends) He was punctual and professional. He diagnosed the problem with our fridge freezer very quickly and explained that NO repair was needed, just a thorough defrost as the exceptionally warm humid weather had simply iced the mechanism up! An honest tradesman is a rare find and we have no hesitation in recommending Stefan, definitely keeping his number on speed dial.

I'm thankful Stephen's business. Quick, quality this guy fixed my washing machine. Reasonable price. Well done. Recommending him, as master who knows his job.

So pleased with Stephens service so very efficient and friendly plus the price was good. I would recommend him to anyone lyn

Would recommend this guy he repaired my electric bike .no one else could do it and only charged me 40pounds .he saved me 200pounds I will definitely use him again thank you again and good luck for the future regards Tim Charlton

Really friendly chap, very efficient, and affordable. Definitely would use him again!

Really pleased we found Stephen. Can be bit of a lottery using tradesmen you've never used before, but Stephen was polite, honest and not a ripoff merchant. Fixed our washing machine at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use again. Matt & Trish

Arrived promptly to repair our washing machine. Excellent, friendly service and very reasonably priced Very pleased.

Brilliant service, genuine prices , very efficient and very reliable .

Brilliant service. Really nice chap who went out of his way to save my coffee machine for me for a really fair price. Highly recommend

Great service, called on a Saturday afternoon and was round within an hour as stated. Unfortunately because of how washing machines are made now i was told that it would be better to buy a new one as mine was too far gone basically. Nice to deal with an honest person for a change. Thank you.

The Best in Town! 😉
