Northern Domestic Appliances

Excellent service. Our washing machine broke over the weekend. Phoned NDA Monday morning and they came out same afternoon to assess it. Returned on Tuesday with the part and fixed it. It's a rare trader these days who provides such excellent service 👍👍

Quick and good affordable service

Would recommend Billy at Northern Domestic Appliances to anyone. Fabulous service from start to finish. Call answered straight away, Billy arrived same day took washer away for repairs. Replaced door, seal and carried out an internal repair, bought back two days later looked like completely new washer. Was so happy and so reasonably priced! Thank you!

Billy is amazing. He answered my call straight away. Helped me out the same day and in the next 48 hours our washing machine (which I though was done for) returned completely brand new. Very reliable and affordable.

Have an obsolete 9kg XL machine which started to play up. We were going to replace at a cost of £300+. NDA specified which parts I needed, I ordered them and they were fitted at the shop, at a fraction of the price of a new machine. There’s life in the old one yet. Very professional and a true gent. Will be back if needed and recommend to others.

Prompt and friendly repair to my washing machine

Was asking for a part but he would sell the part unless he repaired the machine ? So it’s a no from me

Brilliant service and very friendly. Will be highly recommending them to friends and family

I know its a dog eat dog world out here but i called up and told them my washing machine had stopped draining thinking it was something id had broken while moving house i gave him the address he said oh the new build estate ill be up in 10 minutes. He came in disconnected it then took a stopper/plug thing from out of the pipes under the sink that come in all new draining systems and said it happens all the time its an easy mistake to make he then said even though nothings wrong with the machine its a £50 call out charge, he knew by my address what the problem was he could have told me over the phone! i just think its scammy behaviour my neighbour had the same problem i went round and showed her FREE of charge!! Easy mistake to make more like easy £50 to make 🤨

Gave a time turned up sorted the problem didn't overcharge very good

Excellent service! Came promptly and diagnosed with an experienced eye/ear. Felt in good hands and wasnt charged the earth, definitely recomend!

Came round to repair a washing machine. Left within 5 seconds saying he doesn't do integrated machines. Wish he'd mentioned that on the phone before I waited in for several hours.

Both Billy and Glen were helpful, clear about my machine and friendly. My washer/dryer was plumbed in promptly and efficiently the day after I saw it and the old one removed. Twelve month guarantee says a lot. I recommend them! Thanks!

top people if your washing machine is playing up, not draining etc. With a £20 call out they sorted our machine in under an hour !

Speedy service and expert advice. Fixed up or old Bosch washing machine a treat. Works like new.

I called to arrange an Inspection, the date and time was arranged but they didn't arrive when scheduled. When I called the ask where they were, the bloke on the phone said that they were unable to find parking and therefore couldn't perform the service I was then hung up on when I asked a question (very professional)The appliance is Used for a business and This has effected productivity.

Excellent service recommended

Honest and reliable

Friendly helpful quick

Loads of spares as well as refurbished washers

Great service. Very quick to help, and very reasonable prices! Will certainly use again.

Bad experience arranged a visit on the Thursday morning gave full address no problem engineer will be there Friday afternoon At 2.20pn received a call from the engineer saying that we lived to far away to come and do the call !! Next excuse clutch cable had gone in the van but he would not come anyway Called the office explained everything then the confirmed that we did live to far away. But I have you the full address yesterday Sorry sir have no idea who you spoke to !! So taking a day off work waiting for them no attempt to try and help. Poor customer service

Arrived to refit the washing machine door seal only 3 hours after contacting. Very personable and professional, and reasonable charge. Would definitely use again.

Professional, approachable and good customer service. Very pleased with repair on my washing machine and my dryer, typically developing faults together 🙄 thanks to you all brilliant job

Washing machine broke down on Thursday morning. Collected by NDA engineer a couple of hours later after I phoned them. Mended washing machine delivered Saturday morning (new motor and pump). Friendly and efficient service. Very satisfied.

Great service

Extremely rude and hung up

Outstanding service from Glen who arrived within 30mins of my call (despite it being Friday afternoon), quickly diagnosed the problem with my washing machine and had it back to me by Monday as promised. He clearly knows his stuff. Highly recommended!

I called about my aged mother's washing machine. NDA couldn't have been more helpful. They repaired the machine within 2 days and it is now as good as new at half the price for a replacement. Fast, friendly and efficient - many thanks.

I bought a washer from these guys and it has worked perfectly for 2 years until I broke the door. Took it in and they fixed it for minimal fuss and a great price. If you live locally they deliver. Well worth it. Great knowledge and good local service. Thanks guys.

I have had washing machines from Billy Bartholomew at Northern Domestic for over 30 yrs and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.I have bought asnew machines with a genuine 12mths guarantee for a fraction of the cost of a new one and if they have broken down which has been very rare.a quick phone call to Billy and either he or his partner are out to me.A really efficient and friendly service
