Popped in yesterday for a new washing machine, delivered this morning no delivery charge. Took old machine away free of charge. Fantastic in store staff, delivery staff polite and conscientious of property. Good amount of products in the store and reasonably priced too. Shop local save £££

I asked for help on connections to complicated tech and Chris came out and improved it. Another session needed.

Our old oven failed and rather than seek a repair we decided to replace with new. Bently Walker carried out a home assessment, advised us on our options, ordered and fitted a new one in a matter of days. Great service from start to finish, will definitely use again.

The installation of a new washing machine was undertaken very smoothly and efficiently. I was given time to mop the area where the old machine had before the new one was installed. A very friendly team of two fitters. They gave advice on how to register the new machine with Bosch. They also gave a quick run through of how to use the Machine.

The guys were very friendly on measuring for my new appliances and we will be using Bentley and Walker for further works upcoming. The guys were great putting my new appliances in today and putting the kickboards back and also fitting our large tv not to mention taking the old appliances away. We will definitely stay local as such good service and friendly. The guys were back again today to put another tv on the wall, we are so glad we have very good local shop like Bentley and Walker for all our electrical needs.

Due to my fridge freezer breaking down. Dean and his colleague were able to help. I purchased in store, and had a new one delivered within 24hrs. Great service, Well done folks. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄 Having received the new appliance, it turned out it was faulty 😡😡. I tried to replace it with a more expensive one and pay the difference but was denied. I wanted the appliance returned and a refund, they refused. We lost too much food due to the fridge freezing the vegetables etc, all at our extra expense They said they needed proof it was faulty , but couldn’t get to me before the 28 days, I told them that’s why I’m reporting it. The next day I took cauliflower, broccoli and courgettes from the fridge as evidence of the fault, they took photos then implied it wasn’t enough evidence. They offered to sort an engineer from Indesit, but if I couldn’t make the visit, I may be fined if not there for the engineer. All resolved but what a battle. I had to seek advice from Trading Standards and let them know, Bentley Walkers weren’t bothered. All I’ll say is if you purchase a faulty product, Consumer Rights Act 2015, (where the refund should come from the retailer who sold the issue), Bentley Walker try their hardest not to give a refund. I feel that they don’t have to adhere to consumer law and practices that support both sides. I’ll never use or trust them again. Shop floor staff understood the issue, but the owner was the person who controlled and denied any sensible fair service. 😡😡 Having seen Bentley Walkers reply and comment on Trading Standards not supporting me, Bentley Walkers are wrong! Trading Standards guided me to take Bentley Walkers to court as they’re the retailer who took my money for an item that was NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. So I had a choice, 1. Take them to court, of which the letter was printed with trading standards support. Going to court would be time consuming, of which I still wouldn’t have a working fridge freezer, and Bentley Walkers had told me it wasn’t to be moved as would void any guarantee/ warranty. Or option 2. Deal with Indesit myself and get an engineer out to write off the appliance. I only chose option 2 as it was quicker, but still took over a month to resolve after reporting the fault. Publicising this issue on reviews only makes future customers even more aware. As far as I’m aware Case Closed unless you challenge my facts again. 😡

Great service and delivery from BentleyWalker. By the time you take into account the delivery installation, and recycling charges from the 'big' stores there was no difference in price. Would recommend to anyone looking for electrical products.

We were seeking a new TV and needed a good overview of the features and the various makes. Bryony did that well. She also sorted out some minor problems including trouble we were having with the compact remote that LG supplied with the TV. The price overall for TV, delivery and setup was very competitive and to have access to help on the Island is invaluable.

I contacted Bentley Walker to enquire whether they had the freezer we wanted - not a standard size and having to replace one for which there was a specific place in the kitchen. They told us they could. We visited their shop and placed an order. Four days later our new freezer arrived at the time they had given us. The delivery crew took away the old freezer and installed the new one, taking with them all the cardboard packaging. We cannot praise them too highly for their excellent service and communication.

Popped in to purchase a Tumble Dryer which I had seen on the web. Arranged delivery ( at no extra cost) for the next day at 3pm. As told, received a call to let me know they were on there way and 10 minutes later they arrived. The guys brought the dryer into the house for me to exactly where needed. I fitted the machine in place myself but they do offer an install service for a very reasonable price. Very satisfied and will definitely use again.

I found this a chastening experience. After ordering a TV and being assured of next day delivery, one week later nothing had arrived. I was constantly made empty promises; tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. I eventually cancelled; ordered from one of the major retailers and it was delivered next day. I appreciate this was undoubtable not their fault, it things don't arrive on time then fair enough. They must manage customer expectations better. If I'd been told the TV will arrive in 7-10 days, great. If it did arrive the next day then OH WHOO, fantastic, great service. I agree in supporting local businesses, but this is a two way transaction.

Excellent customer service when I purchased tumble dryer. Given exact time of delivery and Nick and Kim arrived at the time. They were both friendly polite and totally professional. Nothing was too much trouble. They took the old dryer away and even took the door off the hinges and replaced as the doorway was too narrow. When it couldn't come down the stairs they worked out a way of lowering it over balcony into the garden. Thoroughly recommend.

Took my elderly mum to bentley walker as she wanted a new hob and cooker. We were served by Susan, mum wanted the make Neff. Susan very kindly ordered the cooker and hob for us, she called us when it was in the shop and arrange for installation and taking old applicances away. The chaps installed the cooker no problem but we had a problem with the hob we did not realise the work top was granite and it would not fit. We got the granite cut and the chaps came back and installed the hob. Such wonderful service from bentley walker nothing was too much trouble I liked that I could just telephone them and they answered the calls promptly as I had a few questions. Thank you Susan, also the chaps who installed the applicances for all your help. We will definately be using Bentley Walker for anything else we require.

I recently bought a Zanussi washing machine from here. Very good service. It was delivered with the minimum of fuss and they checked it was working before leaving. For a small charge they take the old one away. Thoroughly recommended.

Urgently needed a new fridge freezer as ours had stopped working... called them then went to see what they had in stock, selected one and they said the would deliver it that day! Sure enough they called and said the it would be with me in 5 to 10 minutes...and it was. Old one out (£20.00) new one in. Great service and very pleasant staff in the shop. Highly recommended for all you domestic electrical products. A little more expensive than Curry's or Argos who could only offer a delivery in 5 days, no good when you have s full freezer, but it's worth the added cost for the service and delivery. Well done.

Awful customer service. My mother who has been using this company years bought an Indesit washing machine which was tripping the electricity. Indesit don't have the best track record with machines catching fire. It is six months old under warranty and Bentley walker don't want to know. Apparently we have to contact Indesit. Absolutely shocking attitude Will never be using this shop again. Avoid at all costs

Despite having to fight off Highland Cattle & the Scottish Elements the engineer won and fitted the new satellite dish at the bottom of the cow field. We now have the best signal in Alyth thank you to all concerned. I would/will recommend you to anyone.

On visiting Bentley & Walker shop, requiring a T.V recorder. We were given excellent advice by a extremely patient and knowledgeable salesman.The purchased unit was delivered and set up by a polite competent technician who gave us hands on operating instructions at no additional cost.
