Domestic Heroes were straightforward to contact by telephone. It was good to speak to a real person who very quickly attended to our needs and arranged a visit from an engineer. It reduces the worry when a repair can be sorted quickly.

My integrated Bosch oven stopped heating whilst fan and grill still worked. Emailed DH and within ashore space of time had pricing clearly explained and visit booked. This was all on a weekend too. n engineer attended my property on behalf of 24|7 Home Rescue as part of an insurance repair. He advised me that the hob was repairable but that replacement parts needed to be ordered. He explained that if the parts were expensive, I might have to pay for them myself, but he would return and complete the repair without any additional labour charge. However, the report provided to 24|7 Home Rescue told a completely different story. I was later informed that the hob was beyond economical repair and that nothing further could be done. I explained that I was willing to pay for the required parts—or even purchase a replacement hob—provided the engineer returned to fit it, as he had indicated. This was refused. The engineer should not have given me these assurances if he was not authorised to make that decision. The conflicting information has caused considerable inconvenience and left me with no confidence in either the engineer or 24|7 Home Rescue. I must now buy a replacement hob and pay an independent Gas Safe engineer to install it. This has left me facing additional and avoidable costs. I am extremely disappointed with the service. Based on my experience, customers should be cautious about relying on verbal assurances from engineers, as the report given afterwards may be completely different.

Excellent service, from engineer Rob E. on time, fixed problem and very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Prompt service, excellent communication throughout, and Michael Evans was great to deal with. The issue with our washing machine was resolved efficiently, and everything is now working perfectly. Couldn't fault the service.

Communication excellent problem quickly identified by Andrew Devey and the pump on my tumble dryer replaced quickly. Polite and courteous engineer.

Engineer Nikie telephoned 35 mins prior to arrival to update time of visit. Nikie was equipped, knew the task in hand, and swiftly proceeded to fix the problem and didn't need anything further from me until the job was completed, at which point he asked for kitchen roll to clean the working area. Nikie is both knowledgeable and efficient in his role. It is also evident from chatting that he is happy in his work and spoke highly of the company, which says a lot! Thankyou Nikie

We called Domestic Heroes about a broken oven, and an engineer came out the same day. The engineer, Mark Ward, called 20 minutes prior to his arrival as requested. Mark was friendly, professional and tidy. Our oven was fixed in the visit and we are really pleased with the service received. Thank you!

Nikie (engineer) called in advance and turned up on time. He explained what he was doing and looking for as he checked over our oven. He diagnosed the problem and explained next steps including time frame for replacement parts. Initial payment made for call out, receipt received instantly via email. So far so good, will wait for the second visit for repair but certainly at this stage I am very happy with the service and will recommend this company. Follow up visit (20th August) just as good as the initial visit, Nikie again, called in advance with an ETA, arrived on time and successfully repaired our oven. Very happy once again and reasonably priced. Will definately use this compaby again

Our repairman sorted the issue that we’ve been having with our washing machine quickly and professional. He was very polite and explained what was causing the problem.

Really disappointed with the service from Domestic Heroes. I paid £99 to repair my integrated AEG dishwasher because I trusted the fault would be properly fixed. Looking back, I honestly feel £99 was a lot of money for the work that was carried out. The engineer’s report says the blockage was cleared, the water was removed from the base, the waste hose was adjusted and the dishwasher was tested before he left. Literally one day after the 3-month guarantee expired, the dishwasher came up with the same i30 anti-flood fault. I’m not talking about weeks or months later. It was one day. I contacted them straight away hoping they would at least inspect it as a goodwill gesture. Instead, I was told I had to pay another £99. What really disappointed me was the lack of customer care. Without even inspecting the dishwasher, they decided it must be a new fault and expected me to pay another call-out charge. How can anyone know that without even looking at the appliance? I understand companies have warranty policies, but I also believe businesses should use a bit of common sense. When a customer reports what appears to be the same fault just one day after the guarantee expires, the least you would expect is a goodwill inspection instead of being asked for another £99. £99 is a lot of money, and I paid it in good faith expecting the repair to last. I wasn’t expecting to be back in exactly the same situation just over three months later. Very disappointed with the way this was handled. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this company.

With a freezer full of food potentially having to be binned if it couldn't be repaired I was so relieved that Mark from Domestic Heroes diagnosed it only needs defrosting once a year for 48 hours at the end of summer/autumn as freezers work hardest in the summer. His diagnosis has saved me a large sum of money (well over £1000) and I was only charged the callout fee. I will definitely be using this company when anything else stops working as they came out a day after I rang them so very prompt service and in the phone call advised I keep the freezer door closed till Mark arrived

Excellent service. Nikki Warr was friendly, polite and very efficient. He arrived on time and sorted out the problems with my cooker very quickly. I highly recommend.

Would not hesitate to recommend Domestic Heroes. From my initial contact which was replied to within half an hour, to the first visit by friendly and polite engineer Rob Evans who called to say he was 15 minutes away, he conscientiously investigated our washing machine fault, to the options for repair or replacement which arrived by email about 15 minutes after Rob's visit, we were extremely impressed by the speed and efficiency of Domestic Heroes' work ethos. I was kept regularly updated by Olivia about the replacement washer and a week later we have a shiny new washing machine provided and installed by Rob and his colleague (sorry didn't catch his name) both cheerful and efficient and I didn't need to take time off work because the whole process was done in 20 minutes by 8 a.m.! Very happy and definitely would call for help again.

Andy was very efficient and gave us good advice. If I have any other appliance problems in the future I would definitely use Domestic Heroes Ltd

Excellent customer service from Rob Evans, very nice gent. I highly recommend Domestic Heroes, they are not there to rip you off, they provide a genuine service at a reasonable price. My dishwasher was fixed and place left nice and tidy.

Arrived on time repair the washing machine on the day .

Rob Evans attended our house today and repaired our washing machine. He clearly explained everything that he had done and was courteous and helpful.

Great service, wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I was very hesitant to use a company I found online, with no personal recommendation and relying solely on reviews. Had a problem with an integrated fridge door. Problem was identified quickly, new parts ordered. Parts arrived quickly and new appointment was made to fit around my work hours ( thanks Michael) Good communication, arrived on time, work done, left clean and tidy. Thank you

Arrived on time, gave me a call 15 mins before arriving. Pleasant and polite. Explained the problem and ensured it was working before leaving.

Fantastic from initial call to completion of repair. Michael was fantastic in his efficiency of work and his explanation of what was needed and the costs involved. I would certainly recommend Domestic Heroes if you have an issue with an appliance.

Friendly and explained clearly the fault of the washing machine, And what the next steps will be going forward

Great service. Called up about a blocked washing machine error and got an appointment the next day. Engineer done a great job and was very polite

I can’t recommend this Company highly enough! Clear pricing and clear, helpful and friendly communication. Arrived when expected, sourced and replaced my parents oven

From start to finish service was key priority from Domestic Hero's. Given an appointment date and nearer the time Given a times lot. Engineer polite informed and courteous

The lower section in our gas double oven would not light. As it was at least ten years old and obsolete we had little hope of a repair. Found Domestic Heroes online, emailed them and had an instant reply, so arranged a call. On the day they gave a time slot and engineer phoned when 20 minutes away. Many say they will do this but fail. The engineer Nick assessed the fault and actually saved the cost of a new part by rerouting a cable bypassing the problem. Full marks for that. The oven now lights even more efficiently. Really pleased we found this company who actually repair gas ovens and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Came out next day, prompt updates as to when they would arrive and fixed my dishwasher in half an hour. Would highly recommend!

Polite, friendly and quick, will give you a call when they're on their way

An excellent service. Pricing is clear and upfront. Service was fast and punctual and the engineer was polite and efficient.

Rob did an amazing job yesterday with our tumble dryer. He made sure everything was OK before he left. Really great guy.

Excellent service. Early morning email to provide visit window. Email to confirm arrival in 30 minutes. Pleasant and polite engineer. Problem solved quickly. Call-out fee reasonable.

Fantastic service from start to finish. They replied to my initial email enquiry within minutes. I got a slot within two working days. The guys arrived promptly to remove my old washing machine, fit the new and take away the old. They even took away the packaging. Couldn't ask for more 👍🏼

Nick was very good soon got down to the problem and ordered a new fan for my gas cooker explained everything to me very pleased with the service

The engineer turned up on time. I had an email confirming the time slot and a call 15 minutes before he arrived. He was friendly and polite and went straight to work on my fridge freezer. He reported back that he had conducted various diagnostic checks and found there to be an issue that could not be repaired in my 16 year old freezer. He was honest and clear and I could not have asked for better service.
