First he set up my computer, then when my Xerox B225 multi function printer would not set up, he traced the problem and got it working by connecting it to the router instead of the printer. I am in my 70's and not very computer literate so needed some help in switching my desktop PC over from windows 10 to windows 11. Mark came to my home and sorted out the switch to windows 11 and also sorted out some additional security on my email account. He also fixed a disconnected USB port on the 'tower' and cleaned it of dust at the same time. Finally he set me up with a back up routine that I now regularly follow. Mark is a very pleasant guy but more importantly he seems to know his stuff and is completely trustworthy. I would have hesitation in recommending his services.

Had a really annoying pop up which just wouldn't go away even after several attempts by myself to get rid of it. I phoned Mark who promptly came round and solved this problem very quickly. Excellent service and reasonably priced.

I had an internet connectivity issue with my laptop. Mark was quick to identify the problem and fix it. I have used Mark's services for quite a few years now and recently needed to upgrade from windows 10 to 11. He first visited to assess the current computer and found that windows 11 could possibly be made to work with a few "finagles". I decided that sounded a bit risky, so took the route of a new setup. Mark then ordered the minimum number of parts - saving me quite a bit and after delivery commissioned it and transferred all my required data and apps in no time at all.

Having recently upgraded our PC for a newer version (iMac), there were some Wi-Fi issues. We called Mark who suspected the problem was linked to our router and incoming line. The ISP (Plusnet) was connected while Mark was here and he liaised directly with them on our behalf, confirming his diagnosis. The problem is now resolved. Mark is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant and we can highly recommend him. So should you have PC problem Mark is your man.

My existing hard drive was making strange/worrying noises, and Mark advised it was the fan - which could be replaced. He also advised that I had Windows 10 on my pc which would not be officially "supported" after about October 2025. After careful discussions with Mark about costs etc., I went for getting a new hard drive which had Windows 11 installed already. Mark advised me on what/where to purchase and I did this. Mark gave me a quote for visiting my home, and setting up the new hard drive and moving data/files across etc. Mark visited at scheduled date/time and about 2.5 hours later everything was all set up to my satisfaction. Having recently returned home from a stay in hospital I discovered that I no longer had an internet connection for which my provider could offer no explanation. I sought Mark's help and having mentioned experiencing earlier problems with the security program I had installed he investigated this aspect and found that the program had malfunctioned in some way and so removed and re-installed it. Result problem solved. Have sought his assistance in the past and he always comes through with the solution.

My lap top screen hinges broke, and since I run a small business relying on my lap top very heavily I was a bit desperate. Mark was able to mend the laptop for me having to replace the screen housing completely which cannot have been easy. He also did it in a timely fashion which I am most grateful for. Trouble shoot non-starting Acer laptop, Mark advised machine was beyond economical repair and recommended a new laptop. Fast Efficient Service, (had to plan a week ahead, but what professional is going to be available straight away ?), Charge was reasonable for work completed, happy to use again.

Pc doctor helped me fix my laptop when it was showing up with a black screen with a loading signal, he was quick with his responses and he answered any questions I had after he fixed it too. He fixed my laptop in a couple of hours and he delivered it too.

Mark was very good at sorting out the problem of no internet even though it took sometime, he didnt let the problem defeat him. The cost for time taken to diagnos and solve the problem was reasonable. While sorting my PC her loaded windows 11 and a SSD drive on the motherboard for a faster startup. This is the second time I have used Mark and will use him again if I have a problem with my PC.

We called Mark because we wanted to move all our photos from various devices onto one central storage area on our laptop. We also had a number of photos held on iCloud and needed help to download them. I have used Mark on previous occasion and have found him to be quick and personable in his operation. I can solve most problems with my PC but this time it was just beyond me. Mark listened to the problem that I had and was quite perplexed. I had taken the trouble to write down all the warnings that had appeared onscreen. Needed help transferring photos from iPhone to windows desktop. Procedure seems to change every few years! Mark identified what had changed & the various options available to me. Nice fault finding and repair. Did not take long to get most of the functions back. Excellent service. Quickly diagnosed as non functioning Hard drive. As machine was old, advised to replace. This was done using a local parts supplier and then assembled on site. All available data from the old machine was transferred and personal preferences set. The end result is a fully functioning system up to date with the latest equipment and software at a good price.
