Our oven stopped working on Thursday evening I first called Simon and what’s app first thing Friday morning I had a reply straight away and Simon arrived at 10.30am on Friday got the oven working again and ordered a new grill element which was fitted today Tuesday call out charge initially £40 and the charge for the element today no call out charge for the second visit first class service highly recommended unsure that you would get that service anywhere else Simon repairs all types of appliances thank you Dave Weymouth

Excellent service, starting with prompt response to the voice message we left on answer phone (Thurs PM), followed by visit first thing next morning (Fri) when I'm sure it was difficult to fit us in to an already busy schedule. Service was exemplary. Problem fixed at minimum cost. Lots of useful info given on how to keep washing machine problem-free in future. We've also contacted Simon once previously re a fridge-freezer problem and he gave great advice over the phone free of charge so that we could fix problem ourselves which saved us a call-out fee. Can't fault this company. Can't believe the handful of one star reviews left here. Thought they must be talking about a different company! Thank you Simon! You saved the day as the washing machine broke in the run up to visitors arriving! Stress averted! Would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for recommendations.

Very quick response and cooker was fix the same morning. Very highly recommend

Simon has fixed our fridge today after a nightmare experience with Pacifica. He was quick, very reasonably priced and ordered the parts in a matter of days and got it all fixed for us. Many thanks for your assistance, Simon. We will definitely recommend your services.

Simon was great - friendly, professional, great value and prompt.

Quotes call out charge and cost of parts at start of work. Came on day and time stated Only charged for callout... Fantastic service. It's hard to find a call out domestic appliances repair service. Especially a good one and a I now found it.

Our oven decided to stop working on Good Friday. We sent Simon a message, not really expecting any response until after the holiday. He responded within the hour and completed our repair the same afternoon. First class service, highly recommended. Mike Hayes

Messaged Simon over a weekend, he responded straight away and arranged an appointment later on in the week, he turned up on the dot to repair our five year old washing machine. It was plumbed in badly and he had to take out the dishwasher next to it to get to the integrated machine. A nightmare job which he dealt with professionally and quickly, and a very reasonable price was paid. Highly recommended. Great service.

Had a dishwasher leak, messaged Thursday p.m. Simon booked, turned up and fixed issue by 11.30 following morning for a very reasonable cost. What more could you ask for. He even mopped up the wet. Highly recommend.

Quick response to my call regarding cooker. Repair carried out quickly and professionally, and charged fairly. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend.

I called them to ask for some help to fix my ZANUSSI FRIDGE FREEZER. They made some suggestion s. Which I had all ready done. I even looked at youtube videos, how to fix a ZANUSSI FRIDGE FREZER, as The fridge stopped working. I had all ready done what was suggested a day earlier. Then I ask what do you think it may be. That the fridge is not working as the freezer is. Then the phone was put down on me with out a comment. I think the question was a to hard to answer. Mmmm.

Found him on a local Google search. I messaged him and he responded within minutes. He repaired my dishwasher the following morning. Great service. Have already recommended and shared details with family. 👍🏻

Came within 20mins of calling, had a look and explained a couple of things regarding the tumble dryer. He was here for about 15mins or so and didn't charge. Guess who will now do any appliance repairs in the future.

Learnt an hour or so after a guest had left my holiday let on a Saturday morning that they'd found the oven was not working but thought it might be pilot error, so rang the cleaner who confirmed they were correct - it wasn't working. Sent a Messenger message requesting a repair on the Monday morning but not being very hopeful. Simon rang back almost immediately and said he could do it now and by 3pm, as Simon put it, it was 'panic over' and the property was all ready for the next guest. And a very acceptable bill too. AMAZING STANDOUT SERVICE!!

Called abt fridge leaking, and thanks to this place, giving some useful advice. My fridge is fine now. So a big thankyou

I wouldn't hesitate recommending Simon. Replied same day to my answerphone message and rescued me 2 days later from my blocked dishwasher waste pipe (and adjusted it to prevent waste collecting again). I wish all services were this efficient.

I saw a washing machine for sale on Facebook and the lady gave a number to call so I called up. Before I enquired about the new washing machine I asked for advice about my own and his reply was “easy” and explained what I had to do. He was so patient and polite and told me exactly what to do! If I have any issues in future I’m using these guys. THANK YOU!!

Excellent service, have used on a few occasions and always spot on with their arrival time and service. Repairs always first class and competitively priced. Highly recommend

He fixed my dishwasher and avoided buying a £140 part from Miele in the process. Excellent.

Very personable and efficient. Couldn't recommend higher.

Simon repaired dishwasher on first visit, had spare on the van. Job done at a great price. 👍

Excellent service repairing our dishwasher for two different faults over the last couple of years. The sump started to leak a few days ago, I contacted DAR yesterday evening with a photo and description of the problem and Simon came with the replacement part and fixed it this afternoon. A very prompt response and professional service.

Needed a part for my washing machine, went above and beyond to get the part I needed at an excellent price. Will definitely be using again anytime I need spares.

Really excellent service from this business. Simon came promptly, ordered some parts which came quickly and then returned to fit. All at a reasonable cost. Happy to recommend to anyone.

To busy to answer there phone.

Simon recently repaired the cooker in our holiday let. We found this to be a friendly, prompt and efficient service, and have no hesitation in recommending this company

Our double oven blew and the bottom oven stopped working, I contacted them using Facebook Messenger and got a response back in a few minutes. After a little back and forth to give them the information they needed I got a quote and an appointment, they knew exactly what the problem was. The engineer arrived on time, performed the repair in a short period of time and everything was up and running again. Price was very reasonable even considering that I got an appointment so quickly. These guys are on the top of my list if I have similar issues in the future.

4pm on a Friday night and I needed a new tumble dryer - fast. Called this excellent shop. Discussed the options available, he sent me email pictures of the products, I made my choice. He actually apologised that he couldn't deliver that night!! He delivered on the Saturday, the next day, and removed the broken down item too. Such courteous and prompt service - and the price wasn't too bad either. Thank you!

Simon was very efficient and fixed my washing machine quickly at a reasonable price. Thank you

If 10 stars had been a option wouldnt have hesitated to give them. A reliable, efficient repair to our washer/dryer from a geniune honest engineer. Value for money? without a doubt and very good value too. Throughly recommend.

Very Prompt and reliable, highly recommended 👏👏👏

Excellent service provided efficiently at a very reasonable price. Fixed my dish washer and american style fridge freezer in a single visit. Recommend DAR for all your domestic repairs.

Oven not working, contacted through messenger last night, expecting a response today, but got a message straight back (clearly outside of working hours). He asked a few questions via messenger to resolve (bigger companies rarely do this) and then agreed to come out at 1pm today. Turned up on time, Covid 19 aware, fixed the problem and left. Job done in 30 mins! No issues, great service, so if you’re looking for a reliable, honest repair, please contact them!

Diagnosed the issue over the phone, was over five minutes later and immediately fixed the issue. Here was me thinking I'd be out of a washing machine for a week! Reasonably priced and the closest thing to a fairy godmother for washing machines you can get.

Knew what the problem was with my Bosch washing machine after explaining the problem and came out the same day and repaired it. Brilliant service and great repair price. Definitely would recommend.

Simon fitted a replacement dishwasher, fixed the oven then a week later sorted the washing machine. Really great service and very professional especially at these difficult times.

Great customer service. I called up because my oven wasn't working, less than two hours later the problem was diagnosed, the part was replaced and my oven is back working. Very pleased with this service especially during a particularly difficult time. Thank you very much, will use again.

Took my very old, covered in paint splatters , Henry vacuum for repair and it came back like new - repaired ...and cleaned - fantastic value and superb service. thank you. on that basis have just bought a new washing machine from them and again, great service and very happy with product. would always recommend.

I would like to say think you for mending my shark hoover today. I think I might have left a review on the wrong company. This is a review is for the shop on the corner next to the rock. Thank you again for mending my husband's mistake. We will definitely recommend you and hope your wife gets better soon. Kind regards Mrs Eastwwod

Didn't get price agreed for good quality appliance, and when questioned there seemed to be confusion over pricing structures between the shop and the engineer. Felt ripped off; won't be using them again.

Horrible customer services! Very rude.

Excellent service and price for washing machine repair today. Would use again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you

Excellent service from an excellent company, we have used Domestic Appliance Repair many times and cant recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service, can't praise this business enough. Many thanks Simon.

Oh it is so wonderful to find an efficient, reasonable, reliable and knowledgeable service these days. Thank you for helping us out.

Fantastic, very quick service at a very good price.

I called this morning and Simon visited tonight 23/11/15 After a full assessment of the dishwasher problem, and discussion with my husband and me,the conclusion was the expense of the part needed was more than the machine was worth.(after a switch was repaired and the electric board was tested) Very pleased with the prompt service and very reasonable rates.
