ACB Pointing

There were obvious problems with our chimney, but we couldn't be sure what those problems were until it was inspected. Andy was careful to take photos to show us what needed doing. He gave us a fair price, which he stuck to - despite bad weather preventing him to get on as planned. At all points, Andy kept us informed and I feel that he is both skilled in his job and eminently trustworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Second time using ACB Pointing. Andy and Iona repointed our back chimney. Really happy with the work. Both are friendly and professional. Will use them again and recommend their services.

Nice and clean, good service and friendly, well done 👏

I would like to thank Andy and Ilona for a good job well done in extreme heat conditions. They also made a good job of clearing up after repointing a wall of my house. Would use ACB again in the future.

We had the side of our house repointed a while ago and forgot to leave a review at the time. We were really happy with the finish and they both couldn’t be more helpful throughout. Highly recommend

Great job repointing a bit of brickwork on our new house. Friendly and clearly knows exactly what he's doing! Would recommend to anyone

Our large patio and associated paths have just been repointed by Andy and Ilona. They are hard working and have done a really good tidy job, and at a very competitive price. I would recommend their work to anyone.

We had the front of the house repointed recently. Very good quote. They left everything clean and tidy when they finished. Would certainly recommend, good job!

Called on ACB Pointing; arrived on time and quoted for repointing and painting of the front wall of the house. Good price quoted. The work done has improved a 30 year old tired wall into a sound and clean wall. Thank you, Andy!

Andy & Ilona have just re-pointed 3 sides of our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They gave us great advice on the work that needed to be carried out & have matched the colour brilliantly to the original pointing on the 4th side of the house which didn't need replacing. Additionally they have been very friendly with great attention to detail & kept us updated throughout the process. Overall they have done a great job and for a very reasonable price.

We had the front of our house repointed by Andy and Ilona from ACB Pointing. Very professional neat job, working long hours to catch up due to poor weather. Site left very tidy. Would recommend.

Great experience working with ACB Pointing, really good communication throughout to get the job booked in and what worked best for us. Gave us a decent quote and fair assessment of what work needed doing. Was able to get in and out in a day and now we feel more comfortable going into the winter that the home is protected from the bad weather. Will 100% use them again in the future if any other work is needed.

Great piece of work repointing my chimney. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Tidied up every day and worked well with neighbours who had the scaffolding erected in their garden. Price as quoted. Would highly recommend

Did a great job if repointing old brickwork as quoted. Reliable friendly team. Would use again. Thank you Andy and Ilona.

Thanks for a wonderful job on the brick pointing, Properia Proofing & the French drain. You & Ilona worked really hard each day & you were both considerate of fitting in with our requirements when we had our granddaughter over. The work you have done is great & your care in choosing the right colour match & makeup of the mortar our house required was spot on. You cleared up each day & did a super job of clearing up everything on the final day to leave it in the condition you found it in at the start. The French drain was also carried out to the same high standard as the pointing work. We have no reservations in recommending your work. David

Andy & Ilona did a fantastic job replacing blown bricks and repointed on our house. They are both so friendly and professional and really know their brick stuff. I recommend them highly and will be using them again.

We had some unsightly grills on the outside kitchen wall and some areas where the render had fallen away around the garage. Andy and his assistant were wonderful, as they worked hard and delivered a very professional finish. The brickwork infills and repairs are now virtually impossible to see. A great job and we paid exactly what Andy quoted. I would certainly recommend this firm to others without hesitation. Thank you Andy

Andy cleaned, repaired with new brickwork and repointed our front wall. He did a fantastic job. Excellent work and very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend him for any brickwork jobs.

Andy & Ilona worked so hard to complete the repointing of the side and front of our house. Also, replaced some bricks and made good of others. Really good quality work, very friendly and reliable. The weather was truly against them but they continued to get the job done! Thank you.

Quality job from Andy & Ilona - they repointed various walls and restructured my chimney to a really high level - virtually bombproof now! Thanks again for a top job at a great price. Need a 6th start for this review!

Andy Barnes proved a friendly and helpful contractor whose pointing work was excellent.

Andy did a fantastic job repointing my brickwork, a perfect match to the original pointing from 1908 and he’s a real perfectionist who knows his trade really well. Tidy, extremely polite, clean work and meticulous to detail all at a fair price. I couldn’t recommend more highly. Nick Giles OBE.

Andy and Ilona were fab and did a great job repointing the brickwork on my Victorian house. They were very knowledgeable and had great attention to detail, overcoming problems that came up to leave the bricks looking like new. They were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them. A little tip for potential customers; don’t underestimate how messy the work is (but they cleaned up) and also how much coffee, milk & sugar you’ll get through:-) Lovely people, lovely job. Thank you!

Had a strange cleaning job for the hotel I work in Ibis Styles in Bournemouth. Not only was ACB Roof cleaning able to deal with the request but they did an excellent job. would recommend to any other businesses looking for roof services.

Fantastic service and friendly and reliable ,the patio and veranda roof look good a new

Andy and team were brilliant. Really knowledgeable and reliable. They did an excellent job repointing our brickwork which was in a terrible state. Great work for a good price, definitely would recommend.

Thoroughly recommend ACB Pointing, Andy and Gary were professional, reliable, helpful and know their trade well and did a really good job. In fact when it comes to having re-pointing done it would seem pointless to use anyone else!

Andy and Ilone did a fantastic job - excellent quality - great attention to detail and they cleared up impeccably. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Thank you Andy and your team for a fabulous job. I found this company extremely professional and courteous, the work completed was an excellent finish to my property. They were punctual and cleared up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company for their excellent service and prices .

Andy worked tirelessly through the difficult weather to complete our project. He removed two chimneys, cleared the roof of 90 years of moss and muck and then applied a treatment to the roof which now looks brand new - giving it many more years of life. Andy was always on time, communicated well and although there were complications charged the agreed price. Will certainly be using again - thank you!

I cannot recommend Andy highly enough. From our first meeting through to completion of our project he was always on time and maintained exceptional attention to detail and professionalism. The original scope of works changed part way through but Andy managed to adapt and stuck to his original quote. We are looking forward to working with Andy again in a few weeks time on the next phase of works and would happily recommend to anyone.

Andy did a very good job, very pleased with his work. I’ve recommended him already to a friend. Arrived dead on time, finished in two days as promised and even did a few extra bits. All within his quote, which very reasonable to start with.

Andy did a great job of pointing our Edwardian house with excellent attention to detail around all the tricky bits. It was a nasty job for him cutting out all the old lime mortar. He always kept the site clean and was very happy to discuss how we wanted it done. Thanks Robert

Great job, great price and great company in the occasional coffee break. Would highly recommend. Does exactly what he says he will do. Steve, Southbourne

Quick turn around, stuck to timescale and price and also took away the muck that was cleaned from our roof. Would definitely recommend!

Quick; Tidy and Professional. Andy didn't hang around, but completed the job to a very high standard. He even gave the room a very thorough clean when the work was done. Best handyman in the business!

Excellent work from ACB Pointing, Andy gave a great service and got the job done in the stated time, all mess was cleared, even the coffee cup, very professional company and andy done a wonderful job for a wonderful price, would recommend to anyone.. thanks guys...
