From start to finish Sam and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Provided a competitive quote after a worrying survey and reassured us it wasn't as bad as the survey had said. Then proceeded to come and do the repointing work and adding missing lintels once we had moved in. All of the team were very professional and cleaned up nicely after finishing. Really great service and would highly recommend them!

Sam quoted quickly and was approachable to discuss ways to proceed. Scaffolding went up lickety split (arranged by Sam via another company), and Harrison and team turned up to begin power-tooling the concrete render off the worst two walls on my detached house. What could have been a worrying and troublesome period was made about as good as it could be by Harrison and the workmen themselves. They were thoughtful, interested, careful with our property and seemingly genuinely keen to make a positive difference to the house. The phase where the damaged walls were laid bare - wet pointing, damaged bricks, horrible window surrounds with holes and foam, was the worst, but I was encouraged by the lads that this was not the worst they had encountered, and gradually, with replacement bricks and lime pointing, the house started to look solid again. The interior walls are already less cold, and we feel happier that no more damage is being done to the fabric of the building. The cost was substantial, but when you look at the man-hours, materials and tools used, I’d say it was very fair. I’d have these guys back in a heartbeat.

Sam & his team helped fix damp issues on my Victorian home the proper way - replacing external concrete ground with a shingle-lined trench & membrane, removing ground level cement render, replacing damaged bricks & repointing with lime. Totally professional, efficient & would fully recommend!

Prestige Brickwork repointed my Victorian terrace and replaced several damaged bricks. I had a great experience with them, and couldn’t have been happier with the work. The team were lovely – very polite, tidy and considerate – and did a fantastic job which has drawn many compliments from my neighbours! (I particularly liked their attention to the detailing in the brickwork which has brought out all the patterning around the windows.) Sam provided a fair quote and dealt with all my queries promptly and helpfully, explaining different options and making sure the process and pricing were clear throughout. I will definitely use Prestige for any similar jobs in the future and would highly recommend them to others – I only wish I had known about them sooner!

This company made a poor excuse why they didn't turn up on the arranged date. A new date was fixed. I phoned them to confirm and was assured they would be here at 8 a.m. Sharp the next day. But at 8 o'clock the evening before I got a message to say they weren't starting the next day dont trust them.

Friendly team with great attention to detail and a professional finish. Very accommodating, clean, and thorough throughout the brickwork restoration. Would happily recommend them to anyone needing quality work.

Sam and the team at Prestige are fantastic. Had them back for the second time to do another strip out and repointing of an exterior wall and it looks fantastic. It was in a neighbour's garden and they left the area spotless. The whole team is polite, respectful and take real pride in their work. He put extra people on the team and the whole job was complete in a day to minimise disruption. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I called Sam round to provide a quote to repoint our house. When he arrives he ran through what needed doing and what looked okay. There were some really badly worn parts of the house (particularly at the front where it is more exposed to the weather being south facing). Ultimately, he could have said it all needed doing and I would have been none the wiser. The quote came in a timely manner and was less than expected as we thought the whole house might need doing, so that was a pleasant surprise. That was just the initial process. When it came to doing the work, Sam was really helpful in bringing the work forward by a couple of days due to an unexpected event in my own work meaning I couldn't be there on the originally planned date. The team worked really hard over the 2 days and nothing was too much trouble. My outside tap didn't work and my neighbour allowed them to use hers. As a gesture of goodwill, they did a little patchwork on her garage wall. Their attention to detail was excellent too. All in all a very positive experience and now my house looks the newest in the street! People are often stopping to look at it. I would highly recommend Prestige Brickworks.

Knowledgeable professionals with outstanding customer service. Sam and his team completed an entire repointing of my chimney, as well as an installation of a french drain. The team also quoted for a re-render, however, after removing the render on our home, they uncovered original brickwork and beautiful ragstone features. At short notice, instead of re-rendering, the company were able to repoint, clean, and tint the brick and stonework in its entirety within schedule. I can't recommend this company enough if you own a old/period property. The knowledge and confidence in their work really shines through in the finished product. Lastly, the consideration the team shows to dust/mess is very thorough. This didn't go unnoticed by neighbours, who were very grateful for their efforts.

Prestige brickwork are by far the best contractors we have used on the exterior of our house. I had numerous quotes to have our house repointed, but just couldn’t find the right contractor, we wanted it repointed with traditional lime mortar and as soon as I met with Sam I knew this was the right company for us! Everyone who worked at our house were professional and helpful. Sam also arranged the scaffolding and the work was carried out swiftly. Most contractors cannot wait to get away and on to the next job, but we went around the house at least twice checking that we were happy with everything once completed. We love the outcome and it looks better as time goes on, I would recommend prestige without hesitation from start to finish an excellent job!

Sam and his team recently completed some lime repointing to my property. The work was undertaken in a time honoured fashion using traditional materials (very rare these days). The team were fantastic and in fact did some additional work which was not included in the quote at absolutely no extra charge. Quite frankly, if you own a period property that requires maintenance to the brickwork, DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I had some repointing done at my home yesterday. Sam was very helpful every step of the way, but the guys that carried out work were wonderful. They were polite, good mannered and really know their jobs. They worked extremely hard on a very cold, windy day( I live close to the sea). I’m going to try and convey, the joy of dealing with this fantastic company, full of wonderful humans. I contacted Prestige through a FB advert and Sam arrived two days later, to arrange an estimate for removing previous concrete pointing, and replacing with Lime mortar for our Victorian terrace. Within 24 hours, the quote was with me and roughly 10 days later, we agreed to the concise and reasonable estimate. Sam is some sort of logistics maestro, as the scaffolding was organised for a fortnights time, and the work completed within 3 days. The skilled team were an absolute pleasure, and no corners were cut and nothing was too much trouble. Can you believe the team didn’t disappear at 3.30, and left everything spotless, which is incredible considering the nature of repointing. Sam was always available and patient, online. Thank you

Sam and his group of lovely lads have transformed our house and chimney. From the first contact to this afternoon when they finished they could not have been any more professional. They have repointed the entire front face of our house and our very decrepit shared chimney, it all looks wonderful whilst still retaining the character of red stocks. Every person who has worked on the job has been polite, courteous, friendly and professional and everything they said they would do has been done and they have cleaned up and unbelievably left it looking as if they’d not been working here! We cannot recommend them highly enough and have asked them to book us in for some extra work we would like done. Enjoy Finland and the skiing guys, we’ll miss you being around here! Prestige Brickwork have just completed work on my 1910 terraced property. The work entailed fully repointing front and rear of property, some render removal and replacement of a few damaged bricks along with sanding, prep and painting window sills. All has been completed to a very high standard. I cannot recommend Sam and his team highly enough. Communication was excellent and from quote to completion, they have been professional, courteous and diligent. They took the time each evening to clean and tidy as much as possible (including neighbours) with a final clean down on completion. I Can't wait for the scaffolding to come down to fully appreciate the fabulous job.

Sam and his team repointed the front of my Victorian terrace house in Gravesend, Kent. When Sam came to quote for the job, the passion for his work was evident - anything that Sam doesn't know about bricks and lime pointing isn't worth knowing. Scaffolding was organised by Sam and the job started promptly and was finished, with care, in two days. The team were extremely friendly, and were very courteous to my neighbours ensuring the front of their homes and cars were left spotless (as well as mine). Sam and his team are hardworking (working late into the evening on one occasion) and they really care about their customers, making sure the job is finished to perfection. We had our inglenook fireplaces renovated by prestige this week. They were friendly, very knowledgeable and hard working. We expected the job to be extremely dusty but they made every effort to limit the amount of mess and spent a lot of time clearing up when the job was completed. We are really pleased with the end result and would highly recommend this family business.

Absolutely Exceptional! Sam and the whole team were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish and I couldn't recommend them more. The job involved repointing a 1750's flint wall as well as tying in multiple brick walls with heli bars and repointing after. The flint wall was repointed to a standard well beyond expectations, matching in all the lime mortar with the existing house perfectly. The structural work was again excellent and the repointing done in such a way that it blends in with the existing mortar. Their work was matched by their politeness, value for money (I asked Sam to do some extra work and he kept me informed all the way along and stuck to what had been quoted) and how they left our home after -you wouldn't have known they had even been here given they washed the whole house and surrounding areas down before leaving. A truly fantastic experience.

Sam and his team re-pointed our holiday let complex in Canterbury. They made an excellent job of it and I'm extremely happy. They started the job on schedule, were always courteous and made sure that I was happy with the work at every stage, they even cleaned up at the end of the job. I will be using these guys again. Booked Prestige Brickwork to repoint some brickwork on my house with lime mortar and, because I was very happy with his work, also asked him to repoint my fireplace - see before and after pictures below. Sam always responded promptly to text messages and arranged for scaffolding to be taken down at a later date to accomodate the contractors who followed him, who were delayed. Good work, good value and very helpful.

From the quote through to the job being complete, Sam and his team were great. Professionals all the way. They are all really knowledgeable and happy to explain everything. The price was fair and it honestly made a nice change to not feel it was all about £££. The icing on the cake was the lads left the house spotless. FANTASTIC FIRM!! Sam and his team have just completed a full clean and repoint of the front and side elevations of my property and what a wonderful experience it all was. Three joyously friendly and helpful gentlemen who were just brilliant to have on site - got on well with everyone else working there, were only too keen to help and gave their job the most thorough of attention to the details. The end result was better than I could've hoped for - lime repointing done in the traditional way has left the building looking better than it's done for decades as well as being more structurally sound.
