South East Building Service is highly praised for reliable, tidy building work across renovations, chimney rebuilds, extensions, and structural alterations. Customers often mention Scott and Stuart for their clear communication, helpful advice, and keeping projects running smoothly to agreed times and budgets. The team is consistently described as respectful, punctual, and easy to deal with, leaving homes clean and finished to a high standard.
Our chimney leaked smoke just above the roof so need re-building. The guys from South East building explained it would be the damp proof layer that had failed. Scott kept in regular contact and the job was completed within the three days quoted. They tided up before they left and advised when scaffold would be removed. A good job done.
Great working with Stuart and his team to renovate our downstairs. Stuart helped us from inception to end, ahead of the kitchen fitters getting in, and even helping making changes and suggestions as the job went on. Work was on budget and completed ahead of time. Will hopefully be working with them again in the future.
Had a small extension and kitchen fitted , wasn’t as stressful as I thought, nice workers and really happy with the final results
Amazing service, arrived on time and very reliable and respectful! Highly recommend.
Stuart and his team undertook the significant work to our house in a diligent and professional way. From the start of the project right through to the last little snagging items the communication was great, clear and honest. The work was completed by the date agreed and to a high standard which we couldn't be more pleased with. The team were on site every day, were clean and tidy and respectful of our neighbours. I wouldn't hesitate to use South East Building Service again or to recommend them to others looking for a builder
We recently hired Scott to carry out structural work to open up the wall between our living room and dining room, including installing a steel beam in accordance with the structural engineer’s drawings and calculations. From our first meeting, Scott came across as knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. He explained everything clearly, answered any questions we had and kept us updated throughout the project. The work was completed to an excellent standard and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The new open-plan layout has completely transformed our home and created a much brighter and more spacious living area for our family. Scott and his team worked efficiently and showed great attention to detail throughout. It was clear that they took pride in their work and wanted to achieve the best possible finish. We found Scott to be reliable, honest and easy to deal with from start to finish. It’s not always easy to find a builder you can trust, but we felt completely confident in Scott’s hands throughout the project. We would have no hesitation in recommending Scott to anyone looking for a skilled and dependable builder. Thank you, Scott, for a fantastic job – we’re thrilled with the outcome.
