Berry Construction (UK) Ltd

We found Dan's details on the Epsom & Ewell Families website when we were weighing up whether or not to buy a house in Epsom that hadn't been renovated since the 70s and needed a lot of work! Dan was very responsive and came to view the house with us to give lay people his expert opinion on our largest ever and riskiest purchase! He was extremely helpful in chatting through the work and even went as far as to provide an estimate into how much the potential work may cost. We built this into our budget and have now submitted planning. I would highly recommend Dan and the service of someone who knows what he is talking about coming to view the house before you put an offer in

Dan's company have done a fantastic loft conversion for us. The workmanship is excellent, and communication was straightforward and responsive. Dan helped us navigate things like parking restrictions and when some inevitable unexpected extra works came to light Dan gave us plenty of notice and clear explanation and costings so we could understand and manage everything well. All of Dan's team were friendly and highly respectful. Really helpful also in helping us make some choices when we weren't certain of the best options to go for, eg: type of shower door and flooring etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Berry Construction.

Highly recommend Berry Construction, we absolutely love our dormer conversion and the workmanship. Dan and the team were amazing and extremely knowledgable and went over and above to make the process smooth for our young family

Having already done one loft conversion on a terraced house in Clapham using one of the pile-'em-high-sell-'em-cheap outfits, we decided we wanted to work with a builder more concerned with doing a quality job than stripping everything out and keeping the price rock bottom and maximising their cut. We did our research to make sure we made the right decision and chose Berry after a number of conversations with various conversion companies. The price was fair for the work to be done and in line with other quotes we received. Dan was very personable, knowledgeable and brought various members of the build team round to see the job before they began to ensure we could achieve the result we wanted, set our expectations and make sure everyone was clear on how the build would develop. We liked that they are a small tight-knit team and got to know them all very well. The fact they turned up every day for the entire build was a promising sign and set them well apart from the last team we worked with. They also gave us a lot of time and support during the build, accommodated a number of design tweaks and even came up with a few very sensible changes of their own. They used better quality materials than we were used to from the last project and the work done by all the trades - carpentry, roofing, plastering, plumbing and electrics - is excellent. All the guys who worked on the project were friendly, courteous, skilled and regularly went the extra mile to make it a more pleasant experience and help us achieve a quality and long-lasting result. We would engage them again without hesitation and certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal touch, reliability and high quality construction at a reasonable price.

Dan and his team converted our loft in Streatham Hill a few years ago. They did a brilliant job and we are totally satisfied with the work. It is not unusual for people to look at the unusual triangular window at the front of the house and comment positively. Everything was done to a high standard and the guys were all consummate professionals with a real pride in their work. A couple of years later Berry replaced some windows (nothing to do with the loft) and again we were really happy. The windows were not straightforward and I could not praise them more highly. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

An incredible eye for detail was what impressed me most for example matching the spindles at the bottom of the house with the loft conversion so that there was a real flow to the house. All workmen were professional, approachable and keen to please. Good value as the loft conversion looks as fresh today as when it was installed. I would highly recommend the work of Giacomo and Dan - money well spent

We have used Berry Construction to do our loft conversion in Tooting through a recommendation and were left very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of the builders: Tomas was very attentive to our needs and even tried to work around nap time of our 1 year old boy not to make too much noise. Giacomo have constantly updated us with his regular emails on the progress and gave us sufficient advise on the choices of specific product we had to make. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend this company.

Dan and the team completed a full house renovation and loft extension and went the extra mile in all areas. The work was impeccable, completed ahead of schedule and with Dan and the others coming up with some great innovative ideas on the build structure and finish. We would thoroughly recommend them and they have gone on to work on a number of friends houses.

We used Berry construction for a loft conversion and were really pleased with the work they did. Dan and his team were always professional, helpful, punctual and clean and did a brilliant job from start to finish. The team on site were all great and we were so pleased with the end result and have since recommend Dan to a number of neighbours and friends.

Berry Consruction rennovated our two-bed first floor flat. The workmanship was first rate and all of the team were professional and considerate. We were expecting a new baby so had a short turnaround time for the work to be done. Berry Construction delivered, without compromising on quality. We moved to a bigger place recently and, due to the quality of the work, we managed to find tenants within a few days of the flat being on the market.

Two of our neighbours recommended Berry Constructions and we were delighted with the service. They have an amazing team of tradesmen; all of them were good humoured and polite. We love our loft space and we would highly recommend them.

The team at Berry Windows were very professional. The windows were fitted with minimal fuss or mess and , whilst there was a minor issue with one post install, they came back to fix it very quickly. Very trustworthy

Really good windows at a great price and great service

We recently had new sash windows installed by Berry Windows. Their team demonstrated great attention to detail and worked to really high standards. Since we were living in the house during the works, the builders did an amazing job at minimising any possible disruption to our daily lives. They were very respectful and went out of their way to always leave the house tidy and clear of any building materials. We had a really good experience and we love our new windows! Francesca. Balham.

Though the job was of course stressful, Dan and his team did their best to make the journey as painless as possible. The end result was a stunning new loft bedroom and bathroom at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.

A great business, project management, team, tradesmen, quality of work and most importantly the finish. Hugely engaging and personal approach by Dan and Giacomo - we've used them to effectively redo 5-bed mid-terrace in stages (loft conversion, re-roofing, bathrooms, ground floor renovation, etc.) and are our go-to for all building matters - have just moved houses and plan to use them again!

Berry Construction recently converted our 2 bed victorian terrace into a three bed and redecorated existing bedrooms and repointed the front of the house. Throughout the process Mr Berry was pro active in communicating the progress of the project with updates and alerting us to the next steps. The work was to a high standard and came in below other quotes. Any change in variable costs were emailed over by his helpful assistant to forewarn us and with rationale as to their movement. We shall use Berry Construction again and frequently recommend them to friends and family.

I was put in touch with Daniel from Berry construction through friends who highly recommended him. I required a complete new roof on my commercial premises. Daniel offered me various options along with a very detailed quotation. I instructed Daniel as he gave me confidence through the planning process and his quotation was very reasonable. He was thorough with updates and communication through the whole project and i am absolutely delighted with the end result.

Dan was extremely helpful for us earlier this year when we were in the process of buying a house. We had had an offer accepted on a house but brought Dan in to do some due diligence on the roof. He was able to advise us that the roof needed replacing, which we subsequently factored into our negotiations (we ultimately withdrew and dodged a big bullet). Alongside his knowledge/expertise, what was really helpful was his honesty (in the face of our excitement at the time). Would be glad to use his services again. Cian

Dan and his team transformed our flat into a home. All of the tradespeople Dan brought onto the project were very polite, and completed all tasks on budget, on time and to a high standard. Dan himself was a very professional and trustworthy person to engage with, and he made the whole process simple to understand and offered a very competitive rate to complete the project. The engineered wood floor, recessed lights and opened-up kitchen all look great. And one year on since having had the work done through Berry Construction, we're still loving the finished product. Thanks again Dan, I would recommend your services to any of my friends.

Berry completed a loft conversion to our home. The work was completed to programme, particularly important as we were expecting a baby two weeks after the completion date. They were very easy to deal with and handled our architect-designed details and specification well. Highly recommended.

Dan organized support for our attic following the discovery we had an unsupported chimney. The work was carried out quickly and on budget, something that was very important to us as we were selling our property. I would happily recommend Dan and Berry Construction to anyone who is looking to get work done.

Really poor service. Not to be recommended.

Berry Construction did some work on my new flat. I had a leaking roof which his roofers fixed and I had a back door fitted. I am extremely pleased with the results and would recommend Berry Construction to anyone looking to get work done (they kept me up to date on progress throughout). Dan also effectively "held my hand" during my buying process since there were maintenance issues with my new flat. It gave me the confidence when buying that Berry Construction would be able to sort out any issues and Dan was great at guiding me through the options I had to deal with everything. Again, I can't fault their communication and professionalism, and would definitely recommend them.

Berry Construction recently re-plastered our house as well as adding some extra electrical sockets. Dan was very helpful throughout keeping us up-to-date on time-scales and the cost was very reasonable. The finish is immaculate throughout and the job was completed on time. I would be happy to recommend Dan and Berry Construction to friends and family.

Berry construction recently did a loft conversion and general refurbishment of our house in Fulham. I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and Dan was very good at consulting on how we wanted things done which was great. I would certainly use Dan again and have already recommended him to a number of friends.

I asked Berry Construction to provide us with a quote for some redecorating work in the house and painting the facade. Not only was their pricing competitive, but I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the decorator. Dan and his team were helpful and communicative at every step in the process and found solutions that other companies had not. They completed the work to a high standard in a very impressive timeframe. Berry Construction will absolutely be my first port of call for any future home improvements.

Berry Construction (UK) did some maintenance on our Clapham flat in preparation for new tenants. We are very happy with the quality of work and the helpful and punctual nature of the decorator. We had a short timescale with the old tenants moving out and the new tenants moving in and Dan was extremely helpful getting the work done in time. The quality of the work was excellent, and best of all the decorator was extremely professional and very organised. He secured the paint, brought all the right tools and was very clean and tidy. Would definitely use Dan and Berry Construction again.
