Homelodge Buildings Ltd

Excellent customer service and lovely professional staff from start to finish. The whole process was very straightforward and all our queries and any concerns were dealt with promptly.

I am so thrilled with my Homelodge. The whole operation was seamless from beginning to end , all the different trades involved actually came when scheduled, the guys who worked on it were a delight, readily answering any questions etc. It’s a family firm and that really shows in the work ethic. I now have a stunning, comfortable home which I am so proud of. Thankyou to all at Homelodge.

Homelodge are the most professional company I have ever come across. The speed of the project from start to finish was incredible, they clearly know their lodges as it was a very streamline experience and they completed the project leaving the surrounding area immaculate. Everybody from all departments were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly there were no hidden extra costs from the original quote! We are absolutely delighted with our lodge and are living in it with great comfort. I have been recommending Homelodge to all our friends, and everyone who has had a look around is very impressed with our new lodge! If you are looking at Lodge/annex options I would absolutely suggest you give Homelodge a call, they will not try and give you a hard sell!

We asked Homelodge to design and build a bar and snooker room for our garden and from start to finish, Felix, Gareth, Dave, Tom and team have been fantastic throughout the entire project. Communication has been excellent and the ground-workers and build team were friendly, professional, courteous and worked in a clean and tidy manner. The quality of the finish of the lodge is first class and we couldn’t be happier. We have no hesitation in recommending the services of Homelodge, and have already done so.

I highly recommend Homelodge. I love my new home, it's so cosy and l have settled in straight away. My family and friends couldn't believe how lovely it is. And all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thankyou so much Homelodge.

I could not fault the team I met before lodge was built. I visited for the day to choose colour schemes & all the fittings I wanted. Lunch was provided & was made to feel very welcome. I was not pressured to hurry up with my decision I made. When the date arrived for lodge to be built the building team arrived & they were so polite & got on with the job. Over the weeks several different teams came to do the jobs they specialised in. All of them were so happy & enjoyed there jobs. The finish to the lodge was excellent & good standard. When they left the site everything was cleared up & taken away. You can ring home lodge if you have a question to ask & they will help you. I would recommend anybody if they were thinking of having one built to give them a call because they no there job & you will be very pleased with the end product.

We are so happy with our new home and the service that the Homelodge team have provided. From the beginning everything was so professional, from our initial planning meetings and the detail meeting with Felix and Mischa. The on-site team, particularly Gary, Mark and Callum were on site early every day and the process was so smooth. Thank you Homelodge, you’ve done a fabulous job!

Homelodge are a brilliant family run company who have built my mum an amazing gorgeous new home in our garden. From start to finish everything was well organised and planned down to every tiny detail and we are very happy. Felix thought of and made many suggestions to help with the planning, ideas we hadn't thought of and it has all come together so well. Each team of workers from groundsmen to those building the lodge and the different trades, all arrived when needed to each do their part of the build and it was seamless. Natalie and Tom have always been very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The lodge is extremely comfortable, warm and cosy and watching it being built was so interesting. Landscaping coming next. We highly recommend this company, thankyou to you all at Homelodge.

Thank you Homelodge for the absolutely beautiful lodge you built in our garden, which my 91 year old Mum will be living in. The workmanship was excellent and your timescales were perfect. The way everything was planned and organised was very professional and personal too which was such a nice addition to receive from you, you made us feel comfortable and were helpful at every level. I would highly recommend Homelodge to anyone looking to add accommodation their home.

Brilliant service from start to finish. The lodge is lovely, a perfect home for my mother, its warm, comfy and bright. Putting the lodge up was no bother to me, Graham was great, he talked me through every stage. Now its finished, My mum cannot wait to get in. Thanks all for your great service.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Homelodge managers and their site team for our beautiful annexe and the outstanding service we received. I noticed my neighbour's Google review, and I want to share my perspective. The Homelodge site team was always polite, clean, and tidy during the installation. The drain in our road has been blocked for several years, and that certainly wasn’t caused by Homelodge. At the end of the work, the Homelodge team went above and beyond by cleaning out the drain and tidying up the verge. Since they left, I've observed other delivery lorries going over the verge while delivering goods to houses down the lane. For anyone considering an annexe, we highly recommend Homelodge. They are a company that truly cares about providing a great product and service! Jane

Good Afternoon It is lovely to see how happy all your customers are with their new lodges. It must be very satisfying being held in such high esteem with your customers. However if you happen to be the neighbours of your customers, maybe they would not give such a glowing review! We have spent a small fortune to address drainage and flooding water problems, over the last few years and I politely asked your builder's not to block my driveway and not to park on my grass verge,I was made to feel a nuisance and had promises to make good my grass verge. But guess what? Homelodge and their builder's have moved to the next project, and I am left clearing the mud away from my drains again.(which were perfectly fine until homelodge arrived.) Regards Barbara

We found the whole experience with Homelodge exemplary along the whole journey from initial meeting through the pricing process , agreeing the final design , coordination with my own specialist contractors (for Sewage Treatment Plant and mains power intake) dealing with the Local authority, delivery , installation , extensive external works ,snagging and provision of post completion documents and maintenance details. The Payment procedure was clear simple and managed fairly with no stress or pressure We now love our home and could only fully recommend this very special company and its whole team including their own subcontractors

My experience with Homelodge has been brilliant. From start to finish. I found Felix the director, Mischa the architect, Natalie, office manager, Tom, Dave, Tony, and all the rest of the team to be professional , accommodating, knowledgeable, and to be honest, very, very patient (as I made a few changes) Nothing was a problem and if there was something that would not work in the lodge, Felix found an alternative for me. From the initial meeting to the handover, and beyond , they have been fantastic and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending this long running company to anyone considering getting a lodge, it was a pleasure to do business with Homelodge.

We have had 2 home lodges built. One in 1998 ( 11 metres ) and one ( 17.9 metres) in 2020 when they had to cope with lockdowns. On both occasions Homelodge were brilliant. The preplanning was meticulous and they delivered what they said they would on time and on budget and to a very high standard. They were all incredibly nice and helpful in every way. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the beginning to the end the Homelodge team have been truly excellent. Thoroughly professional, patient, flexible and caring guiding us through the process and build seamlessly and without trauma. All the teams - whether Homelodge staff or sub-contractors - were a pleasure to work with. They make magic happen. I'd recommend them thoroughly. John

Had a lodge built at my property for my inlaws. The whole building process took 6 weeks from start to finish. The whole thing was a pleasure. The staff at home lodge, the grounds people and the lodge builders were a pleasure to know and deal with.Nothing was too much effort and they all went the extra mile to achieve what we needed. The builders were very tidy, made little mess and sometimes you didn't know they were there.I would have no hesitation to recommend this company to anybody.Thankyou the Home Lodge team.

Homelodge have gone above and beyond the solution needed to extend our living space to accommodate our Daughter and her young Family; It has allowed them privacy whilst still living with us,and at an exceptionally reasonable price. I cannot recommend them enough. All staff that work for this company have been friendly, accommodating and professional at all times. The speed with which the project was completed was most astounding. I tell everyone about this company, and if you are considering having something like this done,I would say LOOK NO FURTHER. 5 STAR REVIEW. 100% RECOMMENDATION FROM ME. Thankyou Homelodge and your amazing team. I will forever sing your praises and be grateful for our gorgeous Lodge.

I can't praise this company enough. Building an annexe at the bottom of our garden for my elderly mother was a huge undertaking for me both emotionally & in terms of time. Homelodge buildings 'held my hand' the whole way through from the initial site visit to, not just completion of the lodge, but design & build of the raised beds. The construction teams were a pleasure to have around, always courteous and friendly. They bent over backwards to accommodate tweaks to the design, allowing my mum to have a slate hearth for her electric fire & creating a worktop saver out of left over splashback. I always felt the company was professional, and very experienced in delivering a quality product. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We contacted Homelodge when it became apparent that we needed to have my wife's mum close by , but still maintain independence for both her benefit and ours. Homelodge made the whole process as hassle free and painless as possible. True 'turnkey' solution from groundworks to handing over painted living accommodation. Everything done on time and to agreed budget - very pleased with finished product.

We needed to arrange more practical accommodation for my parents for the later stage of their life. The ideal solution was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Lodge with an open plan kitchen reception room. The planning was meticulously done by the Homelodge team, they were incredibly helpful throughout every stage of the process. The team who were putting the lodge together on-site were unbelievably efficient and hard working, no job was too big for them and it was built well within the time frame. The quality of the finish and the materials is excellent, and the attention to detail is immaculate. The Lodge has exceeded all of our expectations and my parents are thoroughly enjoying being on one level in such a light well built home. Thank you to all the team at Homelodge, I could not recommend them more highly.

I have had my Classic Homelodge since 2008 as my Osteopathic/Ayurvedic clinic and it still looks great. Most of my work in creating a relaxing holistic space is done as soon as my patients see it and then walk in to the ambient temperature that retains heat so well. I have recently had a need to contact the team regarding a spruce up and Natalie was beyond helpful in supplying me with paint recommendations etc. I must have saved thousands in commercial rent plus time commuting. It was one of my best decisions financially and aesthetically. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a garden office/studio.

We had tried to build previously but as we are in a conservation, historical, difficult area we had impossible hurdles with Planning. Until we were made aware of Homelodge who overcame all that hassle as well as the “full Monty” as extolled by others. All members of the office and crews were professional, delightful and obliging. We are delighted with the outcome. Photos to follow when it stops raining and plants grow!

We've had our Homelodge for 1.5 years now and couldn't be happier with it. The after sales service is superb. We accidentally broke the front door handle and contacted Homelodge to get the details so we could order a new one. They went above and beyond, actually sending someone down to supply and fit the new handle for us! Our bee friendly planting around the lodge is maturing nicely too.

What a fabulous journey this has been working with the Homelodge team. From our first visit to the manufacturing site and meeting with Felix, through the application process for build, design and then the build itself, it has been a brilliant experience. An absolute amazing job done by the Groundworks team ( Tony, Mark and the gang) and the installation team ( Daryl and his gang) through some challenging weather conditions at times. Everything ran like clockwork and totally organised and professional every step of the process. We cannot thank you enough. It is going to make a beautiful new home. Thank you Homelodge.

My wife and I made contact with Home lodge in the early part of 2022. From the first exploratory meeting we found them to be very helpful, constructive, and honourable in their dealings with us in regard to both the planning regulations and design of our intended lodge. We obtained permission to proceed without any problems in September and following a final design details and fitting meeting with ( the extremely knowledgeable Felix) in November - work began in late February 2023. It proceeded at at what can only be described at a cracking pace (thanks to Tom and his team) resulting in our being able to move in - remarkably on April 6th. All in all a magnificent achievement. After almost a year in occupation we find the place feels solid, secure, very labour saving, warm (cool in summer). At the end of the day an eminently satisfactory experience and happy home. With sincere thanks to Home lodge, Val and Peter Davies.

It is one year this week since we moved into our little Homelodge . It took a short while to adjust after living in a big house but we are delighted with our new home. It is so warm, easy yo keep clean and inexpensive too. Living in our families garden with the children running in and out is a great plus too. Cannot fault Homelodge from first dig to obtaining the key. Thank you Homelodge. Judith and Walter Blow.

Granny Annexe Herefordshire When we first decided to move mum into the bottom of the garden we all had a chuckle as to what she would end up in. After weeks of research the decision to call Homelodge was made. We were not disappointed. After a visit to their premises; a must if you are looking to complete a project like this, we paid our deposit and waited for our slot. Be prepared to wait, they are busy. You commission a company such as Homelodge to look after you from start to finish including the planning process. From the groundworks to the final handover, finished and ready to move in, they never disappointed. One of the great features of Homelodge is the ability to take a basic design and then customise it to your requirements. Ours included underfloor heating, although not cheap to run is excellent when the occupier is in their mid-eighties. Another feature added to the design is a wonderful glass bespoke rain canopy over the bifold doors. We also included a non-opening picture window on the back wall of the lodge. This gives wonderful views of the Herefordshire sunsets. One other excellent feature which was built by the groundworks team is a raised patio and path from the lodge to the main house, including lighting. This just goes to show the versatility of the company with attention to detail of paramount importance. Mum is delighted with her lodge. The finish is excellent. It is comfortable and warm and easy to live in. It is light and airy which is helped by the vaulted ceiling making it feel much larger than it actually is. This is an excellent company run by a diligent MD and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Homelodge to anyone who is looking to create a wonderful home for their elderly relative.

I am loving living in my Homelodge. The whole process from planning to completion was carried out efficiently. The staff in the office answered any queries I had and the build went to plan. The lodge is bright and airy and I love the bedroom with its high white beamed ceiling.

Frome the moment we visited the Homelodge Factory and display site we were impressed by the lodges and the detail they took us through in the planning stages of our lodge. They subsequently visited our site and then took us through all of the details of the plans which we wanted. After committing to all of the fine details of what we were going to have we agreed to exactly what we were going to have built and installed. The ground workers were a very friendly and helpful in preparing the site, and subsequently we were equally pleased with the construction team who all did their best to be as unintrusive as they could be whilst building a substantial lodge. We were very please indeed with the end result of the lodge, and my mother-in-law has been extremely happy living there. Homelodge have subsequently arranged free maintenance visits when they have identified potential future issues and have replaced some equipment in order to eliminate any potential future problems even though we have had no problems with their original installation. Their service has been exemplary. I have only attached an external photograph as I think nobody want to see and old lady living in the lodge, but I do assure you that we are very happy with the whole lodge as is she.

Absolutely fabulous!! From the moment you make contact I had a feeling of trust. I had several ideas of how I wanted my lodge to look kept chopping and changing my mind. It was Homelodge who guided me to get the best from the size of lodge I chose and I am delighted with the end result. Friends and family have visited and they all said wow!! I wanted a modern and contemporary look and I have not been disappointed and the finish is high end. The team who undertook the initial ground work were very professional and hard working as were the construction team who spent just under a month building the lodge. Throughout the build they were happy to let me look around to see progress and were very friendly and considerate. I was sad to see them go when they finished. Since moving in there have been a couple of things I needed help with and Homelodge have been straight round to sort things. To me the quality of aftercare is so important and this company certainly provides their customers with great service. If you are looking for an annex whether for elderly parents or for other members of family make Homelodge the first company you contact you will not be disappointed.

Having had an awful battle with planning, we turned to Homelodge for advice and a possible solution for a living space for my mum. Being a fussy designer myself, Homelodge were very flexible and allowed such freedom in the design. Their system allows a real sense of individuality. The lodges can be a standard or tweaked to suit personal preference. When our application was rejected by our county council, Homelodge supported resubmitting an alternative location. Thankfully the second site was approved but they would have supported us through appeal if needed. The finished product.. well it’s now 18months old and fab, its solid and warm. It looks great outside and my mum is delighted with her home.

We used Homelodge 2 years ago to build a lodge in our garden for an elderly parent. We cannot speak highly enough of the whole process. From an initial home visit where every possibility was clearly explained, right through to the onsite construction, everything was carried out with meticulous planning. Their staff are a credit to them, they guide you through the build expertly and keep you fully informed throughout. The design meeting with Felix was so detailed, we had control over every decision. We created the layout that exactly suited our needs. The construction team were a pleasure to have working here. They worked incredibly hard in winter months and the pandemic, all with a smile on their faces and delivered on time. We live down a narrow unadopted lane which presented significant challenges but as the photos show, delivery went very smoothly. We are so thrilled with the end result and cannot recommend Homelodge enough.

18 months of living in my Homelodge and I'm as delighted now as I was when the handover meeting took place. From initial conversations, to agreeing the design, helping customise room sizes for my furniture, my experience with Homelodge was exceptional. I took great comfort in their total solution offering and knowing that they would handle literally everything from design, local council paperwork, groundwork, manufacture, construction and utilities. I valued the fact that the MD of Homelodge was the one who met with us to lock in the final specifications of finishes, electrical socket positioning, lighting and absolutely everything else. I never felt like I was just another customer / build - the project mattered as much to the company as it did to me. Their planning and scheduling was realistic and in the end the build was finalised ahead of schedule. The build team were incredible! Turning up every day, on time, and working together as if they were one mind with many bodies all in synchronicity. They worked tirelessly during the winter build and were always courteous and considerate while bringing to life my lodge. I actually missed seeing them after they had finished. 18 months on and there hasn't been a single snag, issue or problem with my beautiful home. I highly recommend Homelodge to everyone considering a lodge home.

Very professional, with full emphasis on your needs. Homelodge offer customer service from the ground work to the hand over of your build. I am very happy with my warm comfortable lodge.

It is now a year ,ago this month since I had the good fortune to be handed the keys of my complete Homelodge annexe. I am delighted with every aspect of this project ;- from the design and planning stage, through the care and quality of the construction stage, to the pleasure of my occupying such a well thought out , beautifully equipped, finished, and comfortable living space, One that has been much admired and praised ( and sometimes envied !), by everyone who has come through the door.

Absolutely first class experience with Homelodge from conception to completion. Quite literally one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend their product, we love our Homelodge which we use as a gym/study. All the people, both in the office and on site were excellent, professional, helpful and our project was delivered on time and in budget.

We were recommended Homelodge by a friend who had one built in his garden for his mum. We were a bit sceptical if a lodge would be adequate to live in full time and what it would look like in our garden so we decided that we would visit the show lodges in Winchester. We were very pleasantly surprised at the build quality and space and very impressed by the lack of any sales pitch. Always a good sign that a product can sell itself. The company is small but very professionally run and as a result we have received a very personal service from start to finish from our initial visit right through the whole process of the project at each and every stage. The costs and payment stages are clearly explained and the project was completed to time. If you are considering a bespoke annexe build project then we would recommend Homelodge as a provider.

Brilliant meeting here today, every person we met was positive, enthusiastic and we left with more information than we could have hoped for. Totally professional and have offered to come in for an extra appointment this weekend. Awesome team work and a real family business. Thank you guys

My mother moved into her homelodge in April of this year and is very very happy. She has her own space with family on the door step. Whilst moving house at any age can be a very stressful experience, taking the decision to relocate to a lodge with family brings additional worry and uncertainty. Throughout the whole process Homelodge have been excellent - from decision on the best type of lodge, visit to our home and decision on best location, planning approval. Delivery and completion on time. Great quality of work and after care. Feels like one of the best things we have ever done and can't recommend Homelodge highly enough. Kevin Hancock

Everyone at Home lodge were brilliant from start to finish. I would recommend them very highly. Professional and courteous from the very beginning through to the end. The lodge is admired by all who have viewed and the staff are always there to answer our questions 18 months after move in.

I started my Homelodge journey with many questions and quite a long list of potential obstacles, any one or combination of which I anticipated would be a probable stumbling block to the construction of a lodge in our back garden. In reality, none of my imagined hurdles proved to be a problem, and from initial discussions and through the drawing up, tweaking and finalising of plans to the selection of materials, flexibility and plenty of choice was offered to create a building which would perfectly meet our needs. I had a couple of unconventional design wishes which – whilst unusual - were accommodated exactly as requested. Communication throughout was efficient and cordial. The likely time frame of which I was advised at the outset for the whole process of lodge planning up to completion, was not only held-to but exceeded. Once the groundwork started, even though a previously-existing foundation on our site proved extremely tough and unexpectedly time-consuming to penetrate, the delay this caused in preparing the lodge’s base was managed and overcome without fuss. The teams with different functions co-operated well and worked around each other amicably, and the planning and co-ordination required to ensure the right trades and supplies arrived on site at the appropriate time, was really impressive. All staff were hard-working, courteous, considerate, friendly and a pleasure to see on a daily basis. The speed of construction was staggering, going from an empty piece of land to a completely liveable building in 26 working days. Our lodge is a warm, welcoming, airy and light-filled space which maximises the plot on which it stands and has most definitely more than met my hopes and expectations. It is so much brighter and easier to heat than our main house, that over winter we may well end up spending more time enjoying the lodge than the house! I would enthusiastically recommend Homelodge to anyone, and already have done to several neighbours. My grateful thanks to everyone in the office and in the various site teams whose efforts and enthusiasm contributed to our wonderful new building.

Extremely professional company from start to finish. Our beautiful lodge is top quality and we would thoroughly recommend Homelodge

From initial planning to the completion of my beautiful new home the whole process was fully explained and everybody from the office staff to the ground workers and builders were very considerate of my wishes and I have ended up with exactly what I wanted and after 10 months living here I have no complaints at all Thank you to all at Homelodge

From our first contact with Homelodge to having our own amazing lodge, they were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the whole process was top notch! The planning process was meticulous, every detail was considered and the whole build, from the fantastic ground crew turning up one sunny Monday morning to walking into our finished lodge took only 6 weeks! Everyone was considerate and friendly and we honestly couldn’t have wished for anything more. One year on and the lodge has settled into its surroundings really nicely 😎 We cannot recommend them highly enough, if you have any niggles or doubts, do not worry! You will not be disappointed! Thank you to you all!

Faultless service throughout the whole experience. We couldn’t be more happy with our homelodge. It’s created a beautiful home. Very happy with all of it.

Homelodge staff have been BRILLIANT from the start to the finish, of supplying our fabulous new home. We had been badly let down by a rogue builder and were extremely cautious about putting our faith and (money) into another company. Our fears were totally unfounded. ALL staff communicated at every step of the process, the planning process was smooth even with the notoriously difficult council planning department that we come under. The construction was carried out by a efficient courteous and hard working team. All time scales were adhered to and due to very favourable weather our Lodge was completed a week earlier than planned. We have been living in our new home since 15th July and couldn't be happier.

Homelodge have built a beautiful home for my elderly father to live in. Yes the process was a learning curve, but I really felt that Homelodge was holding my hand all the way. No question was too small, and they have always, and still are very responsive to any problem we might have. I have honestly never come across such hard working, respectful and helpful individuals. Both my father and I would highly recommend them....we can't thank them enough!

Homelodge from the outset were very professional they advised on the size and location within our garden, we worked together through the design with our objective to blend the lodge with our existing property was fully understood and developed. Their knowledge of the planning process was crucial achieving the permission within the desired timeframe without any conditions. Once on site the team were very friendly professional and the level of detail was second to none, we are fully satisfied with our end product.

Homelodge made the process of planning, designing and building my new home seamless and totally stress free. They handled everything from site survey, planning permission (certificate of lawful development), building and finishing. I was involved in every step of the decision making and was able to choose everything myself resulting in a beautiful home. My parents and I now enjoy independent but close living meaning we can be there for each other. The team were professional and very helpful. Replying to any queries I had promptly. I would recommend them to anyone considering buying an annexe home for family.

I had a 3 bedroom lodge built by Homelodge March 2023, the service and aftercare I received was excellent. They were very professional and all the staff were friendly and courteous throughout. All in all if anyone is thinking of having a lodge built I would highly recommend Homelodge, you won’t be disappointed.

Hi. I want to leave this review about Homelodge Buildings. They have been absolutely top class from the planning of my Mother's lodge to the finished article that sits sweetly in our garden. The planning was meticulous even to the extent of ordering the crane the set up and executed precisely as discussed. The crew at Homelodge have treated our family with dignity and respect through the entire process, nothing was to much trouble from the first meeting to the last and we have absolutely loved having the guys around..as a family we all miss them, polite, courteous and nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend this company they are very professional in everything they do and say. Hats off to them all. Thank you Homelodge Buildings

Unfortunately we didn't get our dream lodge. What was supposed to be a plan to have our mum live in a lodge so we could take care of her, ended up being the worst 2+ years of lives. There's actually too much that went wrong to put in this review,we were let down on all sides, all I can say is if you live in The London Borough of Hillingdon in Middlesex you will never get one approved..on a promise from HL given to us when we first made contact, through to the plans being submitted, waiting months on both sides for any decisions, lost months in communication which no one put their hands up to which added to so much stress for all my family, chasing up and putting our trust in those who gave us every hope and promise that it would happen, hanging on for months and months which turned into then years but to no avail..very disappointed in the whole experience that never happened cost us so much money and it didn't pay off. Never again!

Excellent company. Very professional.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Now living in my little dream house.

Very organised, they do it all!!
