After weeks of stress trying to resolve a ventilation issue in my flat, finding Tony felt like winning the lottery. I needed to confirm whether bathroom extractor ducting was venting externally after a damp and environmental survey detected very high humidity levels in the ceiling void. Several tradespeople I contacted either weren’t interested, didn’t understand the issue, or suggested drastic and costly solutions. Tony immediately grasped the problem and came fully prepared with specialist equipment, including a borescope and smoke testing tools. He carefully dismantled the extractor fans, investigated the ceiling cavity, and methodically traced the ducting. The smoke test confirmed the system was venting correctly to the external wall — a huge relief and a result that avoided potentially invasive and expensive work. He was calm, knowledgeable, solution-focused, and clearly very experienced. On top of that, he also resolved a separate lighting issue during the same visit — and I learned he’s also a plumber and builder! Professional, versatile, and trustworthy. I genuinely couldn’t recommend him more highly.
