Mick did a great job creating a bespoke wardrobe for our loft room. It was a tricky space and he managed to fit it perfectly. It's well finished and he did it very efficiently.

Mick was hard working, precise, reliable, tidy, with excellent attention to detail and most importantly we absolutely love the finished cupboards. Would recommend him to anyone.

I recently hired Hybrid carpentry to replace my staircase banister and all the spindles after one had broken, and I’m really pleased with the result. Michael was great to deal with—very responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout. The work was completed quickly and to a very high standard. The new banister and spindles look fantastic and feel solid and well-finished, making a big improvement to the staircase overall. He was extremely reliable and efficient. I strongly recommend Hybrid Carpentry and will definitely be using them again.

We've had Mick round a few times now for a number of different projects. Started with fitting a kitchen which included arranging plumber, electrician and plastering. Installed a stud wall and completely transformed the house! We've also had Mick back to fit a media unit and flooring throughout the downstairs of the house. I can't recommend him highly enough, incredibly thorough, detailed, tidy and the communication throughout was really helpful. We've got him back round in a couple of months to fit new doors and panelling throughout the house as well as drawers under the stairs drawers.

We have used Mick on numerous occasions now, and when we decided to convert our loft, we knew he was the person for the job. Mick and the hybrid team did a fantastic job, on top of that he is reliable (hard to find in a trade these days) and trustworthy. Couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you Mick!

Mick and the team at Hybrid Carpentry did an outstanding job on my hip-to-gable loft conversion with rear dormer. From the very beginning, everything was planned and managed with precision. The quality of the carpentry and finish was top-notch, and the project ran smoothly from start to completion thanks to excellent organisation and attention to detail. Mick took care of arranging all the other trades, including plastering, plumbing, electrics, roofing, and scaffolding, which made the whole process completely hassle-free. Steve was also fantastic throughout — always helpful, polite, and hard-working. Together, they made a great team and delivered the work exactly as promised. The site was kept clean and tidy every day, and communication was excellent from start to finish. Mick’s planning and reliability gave real confidence in the project. I would highly recommend Hybrid Carpentry to anyone looking for professional, well-run, and high-quality work.

We used Hybrid Carpentry on the recommendation of several neighbours and couldn’t be more impressed. Mick designed and installed an alcove cupboard with shelves and under-stairs storage for us. From the start, Mick was professional and thorough. He took the time to talk us through different design options, quickly provided a detailed mock-up and quote, and was clear and communicative throughout the process. It was a pleasure to have Mick working to build a built-in set of double wardrobe and chest of drawers for us. From initial quote to end of work today, he was very professional, so polite and communicated promptly. We needed an electrician which Mick organised as well. Mick left the premises tidy each day and made sure surfaces etc were all covered. So happy with the new wardrobes, best use of space and have already booked to have him put in some drawers for us in another room. Thank you so much Mick!

I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.
