R W Carpentry

Richard helped us by tackling some brilliant upgrades to our storage in kitchen and bedroom areas, that have mush improved our day to day lives. He's a very personable and organised chap who we'd recommend to anyone looking for excellent carpentry services. Don and Katy Nutt

We had some old brown fitted cupboards in our bedroom that we wanted to retain the carcass of, but replace the doors and outer frame as well as changing the internal layout. Richard presented us with various options, with a sketch of each and cost breakdown, which made it much easier to decide on the best solution for us. The end result was excellent, and Richard worked very hard to fit around a busy household, working clean and accurately. Would highly recommend his craftsmanship. The difference can clearly be seen in the before (brown) and after (green) photos.

How lucky were we to find this great guy following flood damage to our Park Home last year. He built from scratch a beautiful wall to wall display cabinet with glass doors and cupboards under for extra well needed storage. We were so impressed we asked Richard to come back this year and remove half a fitted sliding door wardrobe also requiring the removal of a stud wall and whilst we were away on holiday. We returned to another beautiful job and on both occasions the rooms in question were left clean and tidy and we cannot thank him enough for jobs well done at a very competitive price. His expertise and advice are invaluable. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend Rich at R W Carpentry, he was professional from start to finish, the price was reasonable for what I wanted and the end result is just perfect! Rich left the room very clean and tidy, even putting my very heavy bed back together for me. A great service all round.

Richard Williams has been a very professional person to have working in our home. The time and day he said he would arrive was exactly the time he appeared. Everything was left clean and tidy each day he left. He is such a pleasant man it was easy to have him working in our home. I’ve given 5 stars because the quality of the wardrobes and bedside tables have exceeded our expectations. We had painters and decorators here and a carpet fitter came in later, all commented on the exceptional quality of the workmanship. Would thoroughly recommend Richard Williams.

Absolutely love our new wardrobes. Richard was very thoughtful with the design and listened to what we wanted. installation very professional. Great job and would highly recommend. Thank you R W Carpentry.

Rich did a fantastic job with our custom-made floor to ceiling utility closet. He finished ahead of schedule and was approachable throughout the entire process of creating and designing the closet. When we were unsure of the design, he was very helpful and gave us good suggestions. The utility closet is of an excellent standard and his pricing was very affordable considering the quality of the final product! He was friendly and professional throughout and we cannot recommend him enough. He also made sure to clean up after work everyday which was very considerate.

I have nothing but praise for Richard of RW Carpentry. He fitted a bedroom with custom built wardrobe and dressing table exactly as I wanted. He was able to provide extra little details requested and made a superb job of the installation. All done in a day, leaving the room spick and span. Look no further than RW carpentry.

Richard built a fitted wardrobe for us and installed shelves in a kitchen cupboard and cloakroom. He listened to what we wanted, gave great advice and provided us with some simple drawings. He completed the work as agreed and to budget. We are very happy with the outcome.

I’ve just had Richard make from scratch and install some shelves in my front room and wall to wall wardrobes in a bedroom, all whilst negotiating a chimney breast! From first contact to finishing the job, Richard was a joy to work with. He was warm, personable, a good listener and diligent in all his work. During his first visit, he listened to what I wanted, measured up and drew very clear line drawings, all whilst communicating options and making sure all needs were met. When a final plan was reached, he then promptly booked dates in for installation, during which he worked solidly. The finished products are of fantastic quality and the whole process was a joy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Two sliding mirror door wardrobes and a bespoke innovative bedroom cupboard completed on time and to a high standard. No issues and no hesitation in recommending as a reliable craftsman for this type of work.

So Happy with our shaker sliding doors which has totally transformed our 1930s master bedroom . The workmanship was incredibly neat and perfect . So happy .

Richard did a fantastic job installing new wardrobes in our bedroom. We are really pleased with the result and Richard's help and guidance on the design, choice of materials and handles was invaluable. Highly recommend. Nov 2025.

Richard arrived on time and he completed the wardrobes in one day. We were extremely pleased with the finished wardrobes. They are exactly what we wanted. Richard was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and we would highly recommend him. The room and wardrobes were clean and ready when he finished. He took great care in our home and he ensured there was no dust created within the room. Thank you very much.

I can't recommend RW Carpentry enough. From the initial quote, Rich was thorough in understanding our home office requirements. He was punctual and kept us updated on when the work would start. He was very professional, accommodating adjustments during the fitting, and even fixed some fittings that were slightly off by a few millimeters. He worked cleanly and tidily, and I would gladly have him back for future projects.

Richard is awesome, helped me a lot with a design for a room in our house, very efficient and always crystal clear! Full recommend! Thank you!🙏🏻

Rich was first class from the first visit through to the installation. Great job and no mess left behind. And priced up lower than others. We needed custom wardrobes fitted around a slopy attic bedroom ceiling and a matching suite of integrated and standalone units and we're really pleased with the finished article. Highly recommend.

Rich recently fitted wall to wall sliding door wardrobes for us in our main bedroom. These were to replace some 'vintage' pine free-standing wardrobes (image for comparison included!). He was really helpful from the start of the process and was happy to accommodate all the changes we decided upon as we worked through the design. These included the addition of a mirror and electric light above some shelving in part of the wardrobe which looks brilliant and we're glad we went for it. The workmanship is perfect and the materials used are of excellent quality, made to last. We are delighted with the results. It's such a pleasure to have someone who is so professional and respectful of your home and everything was faultless. Thank you very much Rich; we'll be in touch again as discussed with other carpentry we'd like you to do for us. Thanks from the electrician too, who was pleased that a hole of exactly the right size was there and ready for him to install the plug socket!

We recently had some custom cupboards built in our new extension by Richard at RW Carpentry, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Richard was professional, friendly, and a real pleasure to deal with. The workmanship is excellent — everything fits perfectly, and the attention to detail really shows. Richard took the time to understand what we wanted and brought it to life beautifully, making great use of the space, especially with the curved countertop and sleek, integrated design around the fridge. He was always polite and respectful while working in our home, and he clearly takes pride in what he does. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality bespoke carpentry.

Rich fitted some cupboards and drawers under our new staircase and we're really pleased with the result. He took care to design the space to fit what we needed to store, regularly checking with us when there was a decision to make rather than making assumptions. The finish is higher quality than we expected (the carcus of the units being made of the same material as the outside rather than a cheaper wood) and Rich was happy to tweak a section that we asked him to adjust afterwards. We're now planning the next project for him!

Highly recommend. I’m always wary of having people work in the house, but Rich left my bedroom cleaner than it was when he arrived ! His work is faultless , very precise and my wardrobes look as if they’ve always been there. He works hard to complete the job in record time so minimum disruption . He is , on top of all this , a very genuine guy who is polite , professional and his work is excellent… very happy I found him .

Really delighted with our wardrobe. Delivered and fitted on the day arranged and looks great.

Richard did a great job with our fitted wardrobe. He was helpful with the design, offering suggestions and tailoring to our needs. The final product is done to a high standard and looks great! Highly recommend

Absolutely in LOVE with our new fitted wardrobes. Richard really did a fantastic job. Not only did he work with us designing something to suit our budget the work was done in a day with the room left cleaner then when he started working. Would highly recommend.

Prompt, polite and very good quality carpentry.

I am very pleased with my bedroom wardrobe which was efficiently constructed by Richard. I found him easy and pleasant to deal with, he is courteous efficient, calm and helpful. He also provided me with a variety of alternative options and helped me to navigate the decision making and achieve a great outcome. Thankyou.

Richard did a fantastic job for us from initial design to finished wardrobes. The standard of his workmanship is amazing, he is also really tidy so we barely knew he was around. Great quality at a very reasonable price and a lovely guy.

Really pleased with our fitted wardrobes. We would highly recommend Richard, he does a wonderful job, is very professioal, punctuonal and leaves every thing clean and tidy. We have used his services twice now and would definately use again.

Rich, has an eye for detail. Very good at what he does and happy to answer any questions we had. Competitively priced and clearly defined invoicing. Very happy with all the work we've had done. Would highly recommend.

Delighted with our new fitted furniture. Richard had some great ideas at the planning stage and then implemented them in a very timely and professional manner. The end result is beautiful quality furniture in our bedrooms.

We recently moved into a Flat in a retirement development in Poole, where the second bedroom had been furnished as an office. We needed to convert it back into a bedroom for us to accommodate visiting family and guests. The design of furniture to be installed should also create more wardrobe / storage space for us. Richard designed, manufactured and installed exactly what we required from our basic ideas. The quality of his workmanship is excellent. He is very professional and the work was carried out to a timescale that suited us. We were so pleased with his workmanship, that we are now talking to him about removing the existing built in furniture from our main bedroom and for him to design, manufacture and install new furniture that will be more suitable for our requirements. We would 100% recommend R W Carpentry.

Rich did a fantastic job of a couple of new wardrobes and shelves for us. He was very helpful in guiding the design and functionality of them to work best for the space as well, and very efficient.

Richard has just finished fitting 3 wardrobes in our 3 bedrooms and they look fabulous. Richard has a very keen eye for detail and discussed our requirements when he came to plan each wardrobe. He produced a drawing there and then so you could see what they would look like. He worked non stop on build days and made a great job of clearing up afterwards. A great carpenter and example to his trade. We are already waiting for him to return in April to provide units in our lounge.

Richard was super helpful, with speedy responses and quick completion of my wardrobe doors. He managed to fit me in at short notice and before Christmas, which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend his service and wouldn’t hesitate using him again if needed. 😊 thank you!

Rich was professional from start to finish. Our wardrobes are exactly what we were hoping for the workmanship of the highest standard. The cost was very reasonable and the work completed without any delays. No hesitation in recommending R W Carpentry.

Rich is an excellent carpenter and conducted himself in a highly professional way. Simply put he did everything he said he would and to a very high standard. More than that he is a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you Rich for doing such a good job pal !!!

Richard was clean, tidy and the quality of work is exceptionally. I had 1 fitted wardrobe installed in a bedroom and it has created so much more storage space. Really pleased. Reliable and competitive price. Thankyou!

Really glad we were introduced to Rich as we are so happy with his work on our built in wardrobes. Easy to work with and great results.

Richard was punctual and carried out the work to a very high standard. I’ve had problems with other tradesman leaving rubbish behind/the house dirty but Richard was very tidy. Really pleased with my new cabinet.

The quality of work done by Richard was outstanding. He was professional and transformed the space in our clinic. Strongly recommend him to any new commercial startup.

Rich has done an excellent building me two new wardrobes. He was helpful and efficient and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I am writing this post on behalf of my mum Lesley Vass. Richard had previously installed fitted wardrobes and she was impressed with the quality of work, punctuality and tidiness. Last week Richard replaced kitchen worktops, cupboard doors and altered other components in the kitchen. The work was carried out diligently and to a very high standard. The quote was competitive and once finished Richard maintained his high standards by a complete tidy up including removal of all rubbish and hoovering the patio !! My mum would (and has done) recommend Richard and will definately be using him for any future carpentry work.

We are very pleased with Richard’s work. Everything was straight forward and we can highly recommend him.

Richard crafted sone amazing wardrobes that are not only attractive but use every inch of space. He was so tidy and professional and I would thoroughly recommend his workmanship.

I was fortunate enough to find Rich after a very long search. For 3 years we have been trying to find someone to remove existing badly fitted wardrobes and redesign/fit new ones in their place in 3 bedrooms. It seemed the initial ripping out was putting people (and well known 'specialist' companies!) off plus one room was an awkward shape over the stairs. Then along came Rich! Within a couple of hours he had measured and drawn up plans for each room with recommendations we hadn't even considered. We received the quote a couple of days later with an estimated date to start and we are now the proud owners of 3 bedrooms with gorgeous mirrored sliding door fully kitted out wardrobes. I can't speak highly enough of Rich. He was professional, reliable, punctual, tidy and attention to detail was second to none. We also asked him after the initial meeting to do a couple of odd bits for us to include shelving and boxing in an ugly fuse box all of which was done at the same time. Nothing seemed like to much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rich and if we have any need for a talented carpenter again we know who to ask. 5*+

We are very pleased with our fitted wardrobe! It got done in a day! Rich was very professional, tidy, great communication with us. Price quoted was reasonable too. We definitely use him again. Thank you!
