Precise carpentry southern

James has recently fitted our kitchen. From first point of contact to completing the job was smooth and professional. James is very reliable and friendly, his work is outstanding we are so happy with our new kitchen.

James built an amazing media unit which made a real different to our previously very boring lounge! Great craftmanship.

James has helped with a few projects now and all have been of high quality. The largest job was fitting our kitchen which included some custom carpentry on top of fitting the cabinets and appliances. As shown in the photos, all was done extremely well!

James recently carried out a number of jobs in our lounge, including an alcove unit and shelving, skirting boards and a new door. The work was done to a high standard, on time and was reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to use his services again or recommend to others.

Was on time, friendly and quick completed the work faster then expected with very little mess and disruption. Area was completely cleaned once job was completed. Responds well to messages, gives options, and works with you towards a solution.

From the first visit where he provided us with a quote right to the completion of the work, I found James to be honest, reliable and hard working. James built us a media wall with 8 inserts, 6 to be used as shelves and the other 2 for a tv and fireplace. The request was to ensure it is fully symmetrical and for it to be plastered and painted to match our main wall in the living room. The finished product is exactly what I asked for. This also included closing off our open stairs to create under stairs storage and to remove an old exposed brick fireplace. James organised the plasterers and electricians and completed everything else himself. James was vocal throughout the whole project so I knew exactly what the plan was and he made sure I was comfortable with all the smaller details before he proceeded with each step. The work was completed to a high standard, within the agreed timescales and the original quote was honoured. I chose James over companies I had been recommended as he gave me the most confidence in getting the work done and he even came over to quote the work during the Christmas break! Although this came with some apprehension as I didn’t know him, I’m very happy I chose this route. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommended James going forward and I look forward to working with him again.

I’ve worked with a fair few building and carpentry companies over the years, but Precise Carpentry is by far the best. James from Precise Carpentry was nothing short of amazing—he got the job done far quicker than I expected and executed every detail flawlessly the first time around. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding, and the final finish exceeded all my expectations. I had a significant amount of work done in my home, and I was convinced it would take much longer than it did. James built a couple of stunning media walls, completely transformed our kitchen, installed beautiful wall paneling, and even erected a partition wall to create an entirely new room. Every aspect of the work was done with precision and care. Beyond his skill, James was fantastic to work with—always on time, incredibly professional, and truly passionate about his craft. If you’re looking for a top-tier carpenter, I can say with complete confidence that Precise Carpentry is the best trades company I’ve ever worked with. A huge thank you to James for all his hard work! Thanks to him, we now have the home aesthetics we always dreamed of.

James installed some lovely understairs storage for us and hung a door in our lounge, he was very tidy and took great pride in his work. Would definitely use him again for any carpentry work and would highly recommend him! Friendly and trustworthy also.

James came in on budget for the quote he had given us. His work is of a very high standard and he left everything tidy at the end of each day. Would highly recommend & will definitely use Precise carpentry southern again.

James did an excellent job, building cupboards and shelves in our living room. James is friendly and professional, and did the work at a sensible price. Highly recommended.

Very happy with all of James’s work. We had him make cupboards for our utility as well as trimming our door & fixing a wobbly banister rail. He’s a friendly, reliable & very talented carpenter. Have used him for several jobs over the years and have always been happy with his work.

Would highly recommend James (and all the other trades who assisted him). He fitted our kitchen, demonstrating great workmanship and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble - talking through ideas from an aesthetic perspective, not just fitting whatever was easiest. Also very friendly and easy to work with 🙂

Extremely pleased with the new kitchen. James is a very competent tradesman and is reliable, a very tidy worker and we are full of praise for his workmanship. Would definitely recommend and use him again

Over the moon with the work James done for us. Built a media wall in our living room, and then completely transformed our downstairs toilet. Have recommended to others which are equally happy with his work

James did a fantastic job fitting our CloppenBourne kitchen and all of the internal oak doors. James is reliable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend James and I would not hesitate to book James again for future work on my house.

James is a very reliable man, totally trustworthy. I always leave him a key for my house to come and go as he pleases. James did a fantastic job on our banister refurbishment and hanging two new doors, one kitchen door and one conservatory door. Clean and tidy, highly recommend 👌

James seamlessly project managed and fitted my new kitchen. He responded to my messages immediately if I had any questions. He offered excellent advice when needed and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect finish. He scheduled the plumber, electrician and plasterer who all arrived on time for their part of each step of the installation, ensuring there were no delays during the process. James cleaned and tidied up each day when he left causing as little disruption as possible for us to the rest of the house. I will totally always recommend James to friends and family. The whole experience was much easier to cope with (being without a kitchen!) than I imagined it would be. Thanks James. Amazing job ☺️

James is excellent at what he does and very friendly. He installed new fencing and a gate for my garden and it's a great job to the point I will be using him again for future projects

Fantastic service and quality. I will 100% use again to fit my new utility room once it has been designed.

James at Precise Carpentry built a bespoke seating in our kitchen area. The work was of a very high quality and both my wife and I are pleased with the finish. James arrived on time was very tidy and finished in quick time. I would recommend James to anyone looking for a good carpenter and I will definitely have him back to do some future works on my house.

We've worked with James twice so far - firstly to install our entire kitchen and secondly two install skirting boards across the ground floor of our house - and absolutely will work with him again. James has an amazing attention to detail (perfect in fact), he's professional, responsive and brought our little home vision to life. He's also dead easy to be around which is a big plus when someone is working in your house for long periods of time! 100% recommend!
