Barker Group

Excellent service

Very pleasant and professional

We have been using their service for sheets and bedding for some years now and can highly recommend them. The team that works in the Ashley Cross branch are lovely, friendly and helpful.

Amazing ❤️

Just collected six pillows having had the feathers washed and new covers made. Three for the price of two. All pillows look great and very pleased with the result.

Great service

Friendly helpful staff. Quick turn around. Reasonable prices.can take king-size spreads and duvets.

Excellent company. Really professional staff. Especially James. Always provides an exemplary service.

Great shirt and suit cleaning service.

Fantastic service! My suits always come back spotless and perfectly pressed. The staff is friendly, efficient, and reliable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable dry cleaning.

Brilliant service, items were easily picked up and were of great standard.

Great speedy service!

Brilliant service; polite, knowledgeable and most of all perfectly clean items at the end. Highly recommended!

£68 to clean a pair of curtains that didn’t cost that much. I had to send them back as they were marked. Ok the second time but £68!! Would have been helpful if they would have rang advising of the cost first.

Brilliant service! Having recently moved to the area I needed to find a new service, they did not dissapoint. Friendly, well priced service. James who works on the weekend was brilliant.

Excellent service! Always friendly, professional, and reliable.

Great service on 3 piece suit

Very efficient and timely service - have used Barker’s many times and will continue to use them

Excellent, friendly service. Quality dry cleaning and tailoring. A great local business

Great service, super quick, lovely staff.

I took a suit to Barkers on Saturday. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He checked the labels of the suit to make sure it was cleaned in the right way. He asked me if I would like a suit bag for the suit once it was clean. I was able to pick up my suit 3 days later and he checked if the timing was Ok. The price is reasonable. I have yet to pick up the suit so can’t comment on the cleaning, but overall a good pre-collection service. Thank you.

My enquiry was answered swiftly, courteously and entirely satisfactorily. All I could have wished for, along with a convivial conversation .

Quick and helpful service

Just amazing service. Thanks

Great service for wash and dry, quick and convenient.

Fantastic service and team, very reasonable prices.

Helpful, and friendly staff . Professional and very prompt service .

Excellent laundry service and very good customer care.

Expensive, not completed on time, nearly took buttons off my waistcoat which they washed separately and blamed the quality of the suit despite the rest of the suit not losing buttons? staff would have let me walk out without comment it if I hadn't spotted it. Avoid this place.

Fantastic service!

Awful service, director of the company blamed the fact they have ruined my item on me saying the coat should've withstood the service even though they put it into a washing machine rather than the dry clean I payed for. Avoid!

Great service, got my suit cleaned here before a wedding and they were able to do it just in time!

Just paid over £20 for a white coat to be dry cleaned and its still got water marks on cuffs and sleeves. Usually take it to stitch and sow Boscombe and get it cleaned for £10. And it's always cleaned beautifully. Not impressed. Won't be using Barkers again.

Very disappointed with the service of our wedding attire. Asked for a three piece suit and a wedding dress and veil to be steamed. Staff took my dress out in front of me to look at the size to quote me appropriately, which was fine, but proceeded to fold my dress and throw it onto a pile of clothes (clean or dirty, I'm not sure). Upon receiving my clothes a few days later, they didn't know which was my dress, as they hadn't attached a ticket, and after I checked my dress was correct, a lady came up and quickly tried to hang up one side of the dress, after realising that they hadn't hung it correctly (it still wasn't hung correctly, adding stress to the stitching in the dress). Furthermore, my husbands suit was pierced with a safety pin, which was unnecessary and could have been attached through the tags or belt buckle. His waistcoat had not been pressed, and significant creases left in his jacket and trousers, along with dirty marks that were not on his new suit when we gave the clothes over to the staff. We ended up not only having to press his clothes, but cleaning them as well. The suit was new, and I had informed staff that they had the tags on and spare buttons in a pocket, which was heated and the plastic melted. This shows such lack of consideration for their customer's belongings, and is extremely disappointing upon paying for a service.

Incredible service. I needed a shirt dry cleaned rather last minute for a wedding and with no hesitation they were able to help me. What even impressed me more, was the actual people. Genuine and down to earth, one of best customer services I have ever received. Barkers dry cleaning you now have a customer for life.

Friendly and helpful

Very friendly and well priced. Always a good experience.

I go regularly to Barkers to do a DIY wash and dry and have always found their staff courteous and helpful. Today I witnessed John offer to carry-out some heavy curtains to an elderly couple's car as he saw they might struggle with the weight. I suffer with MS and he always asks after my health and whether I need help. Thoroughly recommended.

it's possibly not a ususal thing to say that going to the laundry is one of the highlights of the week, but I can definitely say that I certainly look forward to the experience. Excellent customer service, and to be known by name, and to engage in good conversation with the staff is a pleasure and to see a team working together as one is also a joy to watch, when compared to some places I have worked myself. Hats off to the staff, they know their jobs, and the intricacies of their work, and make customers fully welcom.

Whilst the quality of the wash is very good (self service), the staff attitude is quite upsetting. Been in there a few times, and have found the service to be rude and unhelpful. Not that it should matter, but on occasion my Parkinson’s shake has been that obvious, still no assistance offered, even when clearly the staff are doing nothing else! Very disappointed ☹️

Always good services, fair pricing and prompt.

Disappointed! Expensive & not as good as I expected! I will not be returning

Excellent fast service. Quilts back the next day and very clean! Thank you for being such a help!

Very helpful staff. Good prices.wonderful ladies,! Thank you.

Overpriced and unfriendly staff Not happy

Solid service every time.

Never again. Rude and unhelpful staff, VERY expensive and my items were not as clean and fresh as when I have used other places. VERY VERY disappointing would recommend going elsewhere.

Called to get a price, strange conversation not helpful at all

I took some feather pillows here to be cleaned and them came back like new! They had taken all the feathers out and washed then and put them into a new pillow bag. Very impressed.

THE place for dry cleaning. Great service.
