Very nice man who rang me to tell me he was there as the man who came before him entered my property without even calling me I didn't even know the job had been done so had to call again to which I felt stupid the second man apologised for the first man when it wasn't even his fault. The job is done now and all good.

Apologies to another Metro Rod team if I'm giving credit to the wrong depot, but I'm closest to Southampton. Had a minor emergency (blocked shower drain) which I raised via my home insurance. So, I had no say on who the plumber would be. But Metro Rod was out within a few hours. The chap they sent was quick and polite and solved the problem. I can't fault the process. The emergency cover on the insurance has literally paid for itself now.

Professional team

From Sunday morning Till Tuesday Afternoon, nearly 3 whole days of my toilet being blocked, (Not because of me)with Southampton Council plumbers and Southern Water Board not being able to sort this problem, Metro Rod (Richard) arrived, and with him being very concern for my safety and well being, he finally found the route problem, which the Southern Water Board never even looked at, he was able to clear the problem, I am so grateful to him, Thank You, I am disabled, nearly retired and no one had even offered any other way for me use a toilet....Disgraceful A job well done, and the biggest Thank You ever!

A mistake was made by one of your men who did manage to put it right.(admitted it was his fault) However he left myself to clear up the large amount of water in the kitchen. We then had to wait for an emergency electrician to attend and check our kitchen light as water was pouring from the light fitting. Also left puddles of small amount of water on bathroom floor. Which meant I couldn’t go out in the afternoon as I’d planned 😡

Metro-rod, this is a fantastic company to use, where other companies failed, Metro-rod delivered. From start to finish, I cannot fault them. They came out in less then 2 hours, and got the job sorted, Tom went above and beyond (vulnerable customer) and delivered excellent customer service. ⭐️

Excellent and friendly helpful service

Great job done in one hour: This morning I was waking up with a bad smell around the house outside so looking around I discovered that ther sewege under the window of the kitchen was pushing water with a bad smell and rubich out. Getting the water hose I tried to clean it and flushing it through. That didn'w work. getting some other solutions, by pushing sewage clearing rods through it, failed, the brook. Bad quality so two parts of the sewage system was now also facing the clearing rods in it which brook in their connections. Called a few companies and they didn't want t come out. Finally Mettro Rod was very helpful and made it clear that before lunch time there will be an engineer there to solve the issue. And they did. And in 75 minutes the engineer showed up. He was nice, friendly and very quick in understanding the challenges. Very well equipment with his van and a 3000-PSI pressure system with a 100 meter hose, he managed it in minutes to have the two rods out of the sewege system, cleaned it all up and washed out the limestone also. Just a very well done job by a very friendly engineer who knows his business dispite it is a shitty job. Lessons learner: Don't waist your time, call the experts from Metro Rod. Beyond impressed! My management company did an emergency call out at 11.15 and by 11.40 they were on their way. The two gentleman that attended were brilliant, smiled and waved at my toddler through the window and were kind and respectful in my home when I was already quite overwhelmed with the plumbing issue. Absolute first class workmanship, really easy going friendly guys, had a severe blockage at a business address and the guys sent down were brilliant, the first people to actually listen to the problem and not only did they get the job done with no issues first time they managed to unblock a few other points and give us some answers about our business strangely designed pipe network. The vehicles also have great registration plates!

Boys are a good laugh

We had a toilet blockage at our two bed with that being the only toilet. This was fairly stressful as my wife is 7 months pregnant. I called up Metro Rod Southampton and was met by a really kind and empathetic member of staff (sorry forget her name!). Within a couple of hours Tom came and sorted us out. He was very polite, friendly, professional with loads of chat! What was really good was the fact Tom talked me through everything and showed me the issues and fixes. Not being from the area I was nervous about getting someone in, but Tom's manner really made me feel at ease. Best thing is I can use the toilet again, I feel a huge weight lifted off.......🤣

Thank you to Holly at Metrorod Southampton who swiftly booked an engineer to a blocked drain at one of the properties I manage in Winchester. Within 2 hours Tom met with me onsite, Tom was courteous, knowledgeable and had the drain cleared in no time. He explained every aspect of the job and left the site clean and tidy. Highly recommended professional company.

We had a blocked upstairs toilet (our only toilet), and contacted our insurance company, who sent a Metrorod contractor out to fix the problem. The contractor was there around an hour and left telling me he needed a stronger piece of equipment to remove a build up of scale. He promised to phone within 30 minutes and would get the toilet working that evening. He did not contact us and no one came back. About two hours later we saw water leaking through a downstairs ceiling. I checked the toilet and it had been left leaking - it had never leaked before. I contacted both the insurance company and Metrorod who had various excuses about not returning. I now have a blocked and leaking toilet and a water damaged ceiling. The contractor also left a power unit behind plugged into a socket in my young daughters bedroom and a leaking toilet. I found my four year old playing with it. Dreadful service.

Just a quick message to say a big thank you to Richard and his team to help my mum out in Southampton as I am in South Wales my mum had some issues with the drains from outside garden for a blockage. I Knew Andrew from MetroRod in Reading and asked from his help and advice, as he said leave with him and he will get this sorted out. I must say the rapid support I have Richard call me up and the issue was sorted out straight away. my mother was happy and over the moon with the great customer service and support also most of all the aftercare was go good and will use them again and happy to speak to family and friends if they have any issues call MetroRod for any problems for any jobs need to sorted out. thanks top marks for this company.
