D Plumridge Driveway & Patio Construction

fast quotation and quickly scheduled in relaying a long paving pathway, the guys were efficient, courteous, grt job done

We are really delighted with our new driveway. From start to finish, the whole experience was excellent. Darren was always available to talk to, answered any questions we had, and kept us well informed throughout the process. Paul the foreman, and his team were fantastic — respectful, polite, and extremely professional at all times. We had complete confidence in them to do a great job, and they did. The workmanship was first class and the site was kept tidy throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the result and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a new driveway.

We obtained a few quotes for re-doing our garden but there was no hesitation in choosing Darren - he offered exactly what we wanted to achieve. Our garden had an uneven patio whilst also being not level towards the back with a disused pond and whilst other less experienced outfits felt this would be difficult to achieve smooth level landscaping Darren made no fuss. Paul, Mike and Josh were excellent in carrying out the work taking care and attention ensuring we were happy with the finished outcome. Definitely recommend D. Plumridge if you want a proper job done.

Darren and team recently installed a new driveway, front path, walls and fencing for us. Darren helped with making decisions on the blocks to use and we’re very happy with the choice. The team were hardworking and great to have around. They listened along the way to questions and made alterations to suit us. The new driveway has made such a difference to the house- we’re really pleased.

Contacted Darren back in May 2025 regarding having an old patio removed and a new one laid . We also contacted some other companies for quotes . The quote from Darren was very detailed and very thorough . Although not the cheapest quote we felt confident that the end product would be good . The work started in October his team were very professional, friendly and experienced. We were kept fully informed about what was happening and any changes or design ideas . We paid no monies until the work was completed and we were happy . We have no hesitation in highly recommending g this company .

The remit was to transform the front garden into a parking area and to refurbish the shared driveway. The guys doing the work were always very helpful in answering questions and providing helpful advice and alternative ideas as to the best options for the area available to us. The work was carried out to a very high standard and I would be happy to recommend them.

Darren Plumridge's company did an excellent job in rebuilding our frontyard. The build was a challenging job as it required the construction of a new structure for a parking space and steps on a downward slope off a main road. The crew (Courtney, George and Harrison) are exceptional and considerate builders and carried out all their work with utter professionalism, doing so expediently according to schedule and finishing everything with great care in difficult circumstances. The finished construction more than exceeded our expectations and very much shows that it is worth investing a bit more in a conscious and reliable builder. Recommended.

What a fantastic job! I could not be more pleased with the result. They did excellent work on time and on budget, and I’ve got the wonderful driveway I wanted. And the guys were great to work with too. I’ll be having them back to do my patio soon!

Darren came to give us a quote for replacing our driveway and remodelling our front garden. This was about three months before the job was started and he impressed us at once by making a number of helpful suggestions as to how we might address the issues we were trying to deal with. The lead in time before work commenced was quite long but this was because his service is in high demand. The work was carried out within the schedule agreed with Darren and throughout the works the on-site leader kept us informed of progress and involved us whenever there was a hitch or a decision needed to be made. During the works we had a bit of scope creep but that was at our instigation and all work was quoted for and approved before action was taken. The on-site leader Paul was excellent. He ensured that the site was cleared at the end of each day and that we had safe passage to the street. The finish on their work is top notch! This is not the cheapest provider in the area (nor the most expensive) but you definitely pay for what you get. All work was of the highest standard and quality materials were used throughout. I would highly recommend Darren if you are thinking of having your driveway and garden changed.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to D. Plumridge Driveway Paving and construction for the outstanding work they carried out on our driveway. From the very first consultation, it was clear that Darren is a hardworking, honest, and dedicated professional. He came fully prepared with brochures, patiently answered all of our questions, and offered valuable advice to help us make the right choice. We decided to proceed with the beautiful Bradstone Cobblestones, and it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Although the wait for the project was longer than anticipated, it was worth every moment. The team — Courtney, George, and Harrison — were absolutely exceptional. They worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was executed to an exacting standard, going above and beyond to accommodate every request and making sure nothing was too much trouble. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were evident throughout, and their efforts truly exceeded our expectations. At the end of the job, the site was left clean and tidy, and the finished result speaks for itself — a beautiful driveway that have completely transformed the look and feel of our home. If you’re considering a new driveway, patio, or any brickwork, I can’t recommend Darren and his team highly enough. Put your trust in them, and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Darren, Courtney, George, and Harrison, for a job very well done.

I chose the company because it was a Which magazine trusted trader and I didn't want any hassle or problems. I'm really pleased I did. Darren had lots of good ideas and was professional and approachable. The guys working on the drive were great as well, and did a fantastic job. I'm very happy with my new front drive. I choose anthracite cobbles and was worried they might look a bit dark but they are perfect for me.

Really professional, work done to high standard, very quick and would highly recommend

Absolutely thrilled with our my driveway! From start to finish, communication with Darren was spot on – always quick and efficient. The team on site were polite, tidy, and genuinely lovely to have around. They worked hard every day and got everything done within the timeframe they promised. The quality of the work is amazing – finished to a really high standard. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get their

The decision to use Darren Plumridge Driveways was the best decision I could've made. I now have a beautifully constructed driveway which has totally enhanced the aesthetic view of my house. The Plumridge lads were courteous, reliable and professional.. my neighbours have commented on the standard of the finished work and how polite the lads were.

Darren responded very quickly to our initial enquiry, and thereafter any queries were resolved speedily and satisfactorily. The team Mike, Paul, Louis, Mo and George were very polite, friendly and worked diligently and as cleanly as possible given the nature of the work and I now have wonderful patio and splendid cobblestone driveway that I feel enhances the look of the property. It was well worth the wait time and I would not hesitate to use this company again and fully endorse their work to others.

We approached Darren few months ago to replace the driveway and side path but sadly chose someone else who was less costly. The work carried by the less costly firm was very amateurish and after a dispute among the team, they left leaving behind an unfinished unsafe driveway and never returned! We contacted and asked Darren to do the driveway for us which he accepted to do at the original quote. The whole area had to be dug up by Darren and his highly skilled hardworking team, all rubbish cleared, work was completed in 2 weeks. We could not have chosen better company than D Plumbridge Professional Driveway & patio construction. His advice was invaluable throughout, addressing every concerns that we had. The team were always punctual ,courteous and Luke had a professional organised approach guiding the team with his example , we did appreciate the respect that they all had for our property . Everyday they left the working areas safe and tidy. We now have a “ quality finish “driveway of excellent quality to be proud of. We can fully recommend Darren’s company to anyone, you get what you pay for. The high quality and service and standard of work carried out was beyond our expectation.

We are exceptionally pleased with our new driveway. Darren recommended Bradstone Braddrive Cobblestone blocks and we couldn’t be more happy with his choice. The end result is stunning. The workforce were courteous, prompt starters, tidy and professional – ever eager to work through with us the variations to the project as they unearthed surprises when the foundations were dug out, and when existing clay drainage interfered with block laying. They took an immense pride in their work – and it shows through with the end result. Darren was able to provide recommendations for lighting and railings fitting, and those suppliers knew Darren’s people well so very much an end to end service. It’s a wait to get availability from Darren’s teams – but very much worth it and really how often does one get a drive laid?.

Happy with our new drive. The workmen were lovely and always punctual.

Darren’s team built us a gorgeous new 130m2 patio. The work went very smoothly, they accommodated our requests, met the brief well and left everything tidy once they were finished. There were a couple of bits they couldn’t finish as we were waiting on another job to be completed but Darren helpfully promised to return to finish off the job at a later date. Would definitely recommend them.

I have used Darren and his team for two different cobbletech driveways over the past 10 years and on both occasions the work has been first class! Very experienced and professional team. I wouldn’t use anyone else!

I’m thrilled with the job that Plumridge have done on my driveway, although there was a bit of a wait to get them round, it was well worth it. The skill and knowledge of the team was brilliant and they were able to advise me on key features that have made the drive look better than i’d imagined. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Darren is very professional and no messing around. His quotation is quite competitive and he fully delivers according to my plan and design for my driveway. The guys working for his company knows exactly what they are doing. He didn’t take any money upfront and not even a deposit. All the work was carried out up to perfection and finished in time according to the schedule. I am so happy and pleased with my brand new Marshall’s block paving driveway. Beware of rogue traders. Thank you so much Darren!

Darren’s team did a fantastic job constructing my driveway, done jointly with my neighbour. They were thoughtful and great communicators especially considering they had two clients. They were fab at offering ideas of what would look good and listening to what we wanted. We’re incredibly pleased, and have had so many compliments already. They were very thorough digging out and laying the substructure, so it should last a really long time. They were very careful with our services which had been laid too high and dealt with the 3 manholes excellently. We had to wait a while for them to be available to do the job, but it was well worth the wait! They took a little longer than expected to complete the job, due to illness of a member of the team, but the rest of the team worked really hard to keep the project on track. Especially impressive when done over a period of very hot weather. I don’t hesitate in highly recommending!

We are delighted with the quality of the work carried out by Darren's team led by Paul, they were with us approximately four weeks and nothing was too much trouble, a joy to work with, Our new drive looks great as well as our side path and repair to our existing pergola, would thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly man, would recommend,

Darren and his team did my front and side drive and were amazing, managed to complete the job quicker than promised and perform the work with care and consideration. Their experience really helped ensure we got the right finish with the correct levels and drainage and a ramp for the side access which will help great with the bins! I was kept well informed throughout, and had no issues with the team being careful around services and providing good guidance on patterns, etc. They will be doing my next patio for sure!
