Armortec paving and landscaping

Five-Star Transformation: Structural Integrity Meets Flawless Finish We recently completed a large-scale renovation of our entire backyard, and the results have exceeded every expectation. The project involved numerous complex elements, including structural work (retaining wall), hardscaping (patio and paving), and a dual approach to the lawn areas (natural and artificial turf). The entire team was professional, highly skilled, and delivered a truly bespoke, flawless finish. Key Feature Highlights and Craftsmanship 1. Hardscaping: Indian Sandstone & Amortec Paving The Indian Sandstone patio is the absolute centerpiece of the garden. The team's expertise in laying the stone was evident—the cuts are precise, the levels are perfect, and the pointing is immaculate. The colors are stunning, offering a warm, natural aesthetic. For the surrounding pathways and utility areas, the Amortec provided a fantastic, durable contrast. The interlocking design looks sharp and modern, and it feels incredibly solid underfoot. The transition between the two materials was handled seamlessly, showing great attention to detail in the design layout. 2. Structural Work: Retaining Wall and Fencing Given the slope of our garden, the new retaining wall was a critical structural element. The construction is incredibly robust and clearly built to last. It now provides a clean, defined boundary for the upper level, transforming a previously unusable space. The new perimeter fencing installation was equally impressive. It is perfectly aligned, sturdy, and instantly elevated the privacy and security of the garden. The quality of the materials and the secure fitting show that no corners were cut on the essential structural components. 3. Turf Installation: Astro Turf and New Natural Lawn The decision to combine new natural turf in one area and astro turf in another was key to our low-maintenance design. The natural lawn is lush, vibrant, and perfectly prepared, giving us a beautiful green space. Crucially, the astro turf installation is exceptional. The base preparation was thorough, resulting in a firm, smooth surface that drains perfectly. The turf itself looks incredibly realistic, and the careful installation means there are no visible seams or ripples. 4. Final Landscaping Touches Beyond the major installations, the final landscaping and tidy-up were excellent. All existing beds were neatly prepared, and the site was left spotless at the end of every day. The care taken to ensure the whole garden flowed together—from the wall to the paving edges and the lawn—demonstrates a true passion for quality finish. Conclusion and Recommendation This project was a significant investment, but the quality of the final outcome represents outstanding value. The team managed complex brickwork, masonry, paving, and turfing with consistent excellence. We now have a beautiful, multi-functional outdoor space built with superior materials and incredible skill. We highly recommend this team for any project, especially one involving this many elements.
