City Electrical Services (Midlands)

Another excellent job by Shakeel - response, quote and work done within a week. Definitely our go-to electrician!

Shakeel was very thorough, courteous and reasonably priced. He connected our garden office to the mains and it was not straightforward. An excellent service.

Super Impressed. Highly recommend. We had a slightly tricky job in our tight kitchen at really short notice. Shakeel squeezed us in last thing late on a Friday and did a quick and professional job for a reasonable price. Will definitely use again in the future.

We are really pleased with the care and communication with our recent light, doorbell and socket fixtures. We will definitely use Shakeel’s services in the future. Thank you!

I sent Shakeel one picture of my electric panel when we had issues and he efficiently and swiftly provided easy to follow instructions which helped resolve my problem. 👍👍

Gill We had a few electrical issues that bothered us for sometime and had trouble getting an electrician to deal with them. The service we got from Shakeel was absolutely excellent. He responded quickly to our call, he understood the problems and solved them in a timely manner. We would recommend him very highly. Top class.

I called Shak to see if he could replace all of the external floodlights and decorative lights at my house. For the first phone call he was extremely professional and helpful and the next day he came out to have a look at exactly what was needed. He gave me fantastic advice about what my options were. A few days later Shak came out and completed the work for an extremely reasonable price, to a very high standard and left everything neat, tidy and super clean afterwards. I’d even gone and bought and extra light and asked Shak on the day if he could fit that too. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he worked with a smile on his face all day, and was a joy to speak to as he completed the work throughout the day. I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate recommending City Electrical Services if you’re looking for great quality work at a fair price. I know who I’ll be calling upon next time I need anything done - thank you Shak.

Thank you to Shakeel and his nephew. They did fantastic electrical work for my mom. I would highly recommend them.

Shakeel replaced an extractor fan and wall socket for us. Great communication and timely arrival. He was patient in explaining the work being done. He saw another faulty socket occurred on-site and replaced it as well. Overall very pleased with getting the work done as expected. Many thanks, Peter

Shakeel and his nephew worked hard for a fair price. The quality of the work is of a high standard and Shakeel carried out some extra work free of charge. I would not hesitate in calling them again in the future. Very pleased with their workmanship.

Called Shakeel late on a Sunday afternoon, with a small issue. He was more than happy to help and very clear and sorted the issue within two minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend! These guys are brilliant. They carried out all aspects of the job while improving the system as they went. I have a house built in the 80s and the wiring was in a horrible state that Shakeel was able to undo and renew for modularity, safety and extendability. They communicated the extent of work and options available for a better system in a very respectful and patient manner. I cannot express how thankful I am and hope you have the same experience too.

Shakeel was very professional and communicative throughout. He was able to complete the jobs quickly, clearly explained what repairs were necessary when he'd completed his initial EICR checks and carried everything out with minimum disruption. Highly recommended.

I recently used Shakeel for the installation of spotlights, creation of sockets, wall lights, mounting of TV’s and mirror in my house. He did an amazing job and talked my husband and I through each step to make sure we were happy. Extremely professional, punctual and left the place tidy each time. I would highly recommend this business.

Called because all the sockets in our house stopped working and we couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Was calmly talked through how to resolve the issue over the phone. No need for a call out and am very grateful for the lovely friendly service.

Shakeel helped us out in a tight spot. Despite being very busy - squeezed our job after we were let down at the last minute. He arrived early and stayed late until the job was done to our satisfaction. He even helped out with a light fitting in my daughters room. We will certainly be calling him again.

Brilliant Service, rang him on a Sunday morning for an emergency repair, was with me in an hour, job done quick and to high standards.Good Fair price. Very friendly and professional. Will definitely use again. Thank you. Matt.

Excellent Service. Highly recommend. I have used City Electrical Services for at least 3 jobs, and all have been carried out professionally. Thank you for service's guys.

Excellent service, very professional manner, talked me through possible solutions on the phone to save me a call out charge, but when this didnt solve problem arranged a time to come out with a very fair price, came on time and solved problem without fuss, would definitely recommend to anyone I know who needed an electrical job completed!

I’ve Booked Shakeel from looking at all the good reviews he had and it’s all true. He is excellent at his job, very professional and funny at the same time who got the job done quickly. We would definitely book him again in the future.

Shakeel was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding and electrical issue I had. Thanks Shakeel, you assistance was much appreciated Thanks

Shakeel is brilliant. All communication leading up to the job was good. He went out of his way to be helpful including picking up a part that was required from a wholesaler and did the job to a great standard (even though it meant lying in attic insulation all afternoon). Couldn't be happier with the service.

Shakeel was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered my call in the morning and was there in the afternoon. Efficient and affordable service. Highly recommended.

It is rare to find such an excellent electrician who really takes pride in his work and is reasonably priced. Shakeel put up my beloved wall chandelier which two other electricians told me it was impossible to do. Highly recommend this friendly man.

Excellent service with the installation of a smart thermostat. Professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Shakeel is very skilled worker and won't stop until the job is done. He even fixed my electric shower and bless him for taking the time to fix it with just a little cost. He even helped me on the phone on what to do prior to him coming to fix our problem which is a bonus nowadays. He explained everything he has done and given me options. Highly recommended this Electrician for quality, value and knowledge of the job he is doing. He is a tidy worker too which is great.

I just received tremendously helpful advice. None of my lights downstairs were working and I had tried all the obvious steps to address it and reached out to this company to come out. Instead, Shakeel took the time to give me real helpful tips and stayed on the line whilst I followed his instructions and resolved the issue without the need to use/pay him for his services. I'm super-impressed and grateful and will definitely call him when I need some works done!

Excellent service at a competitive rate. The engineer did everything we asked and more taking care to carry out his work to a high standard in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the work that has been undertaken. The engineer set out to us from the outset the best options for us, explained how long the work would take to complete and the cost. The engineer was professional, very respectful of our home and incredibly patient (despite our many indecisive moments). I would highly recommend City Electrical Services.

Shakeel responded to my query very quickly and sorted my problem with professionalism. He was very Good, told me the price in advance and I would use him again. Thanks Shakeel!

Very approachable and value for money.

Shakeel was generous with his time and hugely professional - to the point where he didn't actually need to visit my house, because he found the correct solution during a phone call lasting a few minutes. I would certainly use him in the future, and I strongly recommend him. A great service.

CES are a shiny beacon in a world were commonly we let down, over-charged and made to grovel for attending on time, by tradesmen. I was lucky... my burnt-out cable was buried in a brick wall We just did not know where ) and was tripping all my switches; they came over when they said they would. They stayed until they finally found where the fault was. They fixed it and advised me on safety for the future. Despite over-running my a couple of hours , they honoured their original quote. Superb! Or '"that'll do", as they say in Yorkshire!

Called and Shakeel came out the next day. He was on time, friendly and professional and resolved the issue. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Light fitting had a fault and was smoking. Called City electrical who gave me a reasonable quote and some advice to make things safe until he arrived. Excellent service.. Very professional .... Reasonable and transparent cost.. Really pleased.. Everything now fixed. Highly recommended

Very professional and was kept informed i would definitely recomend to have work done from this guy.

I called Shakeel as I wanted to have our shed wired for electricity to house our appliances. He was very polite and arrived that same afternoon. He shut off the supply in the old shed and then when we'd had the new shed put up ,we called him again and he wired it up in a couple of hours. His work was neat and professional, and good value. I would highly recommend his services- and I will be ringing him for all electrical services from here on in.

Shakeel came out on a Sunday to repair my fuse box which had suddenly lost power. He arrived within an hour, found the problem (a loose mains cable) and quickly rectified it. He also tidied up and secured the cables to prevent them getting accidentally pulled out again. He was reasonably priced, very polite and I would recommend.

I text Shakeel at 8pm on a Sunday asking if he could come over the next day to fix my bodge job. Came out and fixed everything within the hour!

This is an excellent firm- extremely polite, professional and reliable.

I had contacted numerous amount of electricians but some were busy some didnt even pick up so I needed the job done within the same week. Based on shakeels reviews I gave him a ring and he came down within 2 days and done the job to a high standard he done the job perfect, very professional and great value compared to others. Great guy. Shows up when he says he will, totally honest, goes out of his way to help, and extremely fair when it comes to pricing. Absolutely superb.

Very impressed with the service I received. Punctual professional and knowledgeable what more could you ask for. I will definitely be using again for any future emergencies

Really nice people, they look after their customers and have done an excellent job

We needed a few small jobs doing around the house and got in contact with Shakeel after hearing about a job he recently did with my girlfriend's mother. Arranged a date to come round, arrived on time and offered a great service with no hassle. Great guy, highly recommended!

Shak came and got us up and running again following an outage and as ever was extremely polite, explained everything and worked hard to find the root cause. Highly recommended and thank you again!

Great service- efficient and friendly - thanks Shakeel

We required the services of a qualified electrician to carry out a job for us. Prior to accepting the job, Shakeel provided a day/time and on the day he arrived on time - such communication is very important in any business, especially when trying to seek reliable tradesmen. Shakeel was very approachable and his workmanship skills are exceptional. Shakeel takes his time to explain to the customer, before, during and after the job. We would not hesitate to use his services again in the very near future.

Shakeel is an excellent man, he is polite & courteous. I have had work done by him several times, a good clean worker & reliable. I have recommended him to a lot of people who are all satisfied. Keep up the good work.

I booked Shakeel based on his great reviews and I can confirm that he completely lives up to them. He was absolutely fantastic, dealt with our problem (electric radiator issue in a rental property) extremely professionally, liaised independently with my tenant and fed back to me straight away what had been agreed between them and called me after his visit on the day after his job letting me know that it was all sorted. So efficient, prompt and reliable. I've found my go to electrician!

Shakeel is the best and I'd heartily recommend him. Initially he missed my call but rang me straight back, agreed a price over the phone and turned up promptly. Very polite and courteous, he even offered to share his lunch with me! Good work and very fair prices, will definitely use him again.

Highly recommend!!! Thanks for your help !

Thanks Shakeel for all your services, excellent standard and highly recommended

We hired City Electrical to have some extra sockets and a cooker switch installed in our new office. They arrived at the time, provided certificates we could show to our landlord and gave a fair price. The work was done promptly and efficiently and they invoiced as requested. Thanks again lads!

A very quick, promt service.. No bother at all.. Was super relaxed, done the job in no time at all... Very pleased with his service 😊

Just wanted to say, thanks very much to Shakeel. He visited my elderly uncle who was in need of an emergency electrician due to a faulty strip light in his kitchen. My uncle is very frail and hard of hearing. Shakeel visited while I was on holiday. He sorted the problem efficiently and with great compassion towards my uncle. Thanks again Shakeel I will be in touch with you again in the future if in need of an electrician.

Have regularly used City Electrical Services, very competent and quality service every time.

City Electrical Services came recommended from the next door app. I found the service brilliant and have used the service twice. Price was excellent, the workmanship is second to none. In my time I have used other electricians, but i’ll be sticking to City Electrical from now on!

The Electrician came round at short notice on a Saturday and fixed an immersion heater. Charged as quoted.
