I’d like to say a big thank you to Daryl, Mark and Stuart for working tirelessly over two days to complete my solar and battery installation. The whole team were fantastic from start to finish. Daryl kept checking in with me throughout the job to make sure I was happy with everything, which I really appreciated. Mark did an excellent job with the wiring — it was incredibly neat and tidy and showed real pride in the work. You could clearly see how hard they all worked to get everything finished properly. A special thanks as well to Linda in the office. Her communication was first rate and she always came back to me quickly with any questions I had, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. 10/10 to all of you — it’s well deserved.

Our solar panel company went bust several years ago, which is fine until they stop working! So many companies refused to come to our aid. Not so Indigo Energy. They dispatched an engineer within 24 hours and the problem was sorted. In the end it was simple switch, and they didn't even charge us. We will be using them again in the future. Fantastic service.

Indigo was great - I messaged in the evening and by the morning I had an email from Linda asking for some pictures, and then a call shortly after by Mark (engineer) to help advise on next steps. Great Service from first phone call to completion of works. We already had panels but they failed, They were replaced by the manufacturer under warranty, Daryl took old panels down and installed new replacements, also he installed bird protection, excellent job done, he was always available for advise, as was Linda in the office. Would highly recommend this company.

When my 13 year old solar PV system stopped generating electricity, I wasn't sure where to turn. Indigo appeared in my search for local Solar services, and the reviews were all 5*, so I gave them a call. I couldn't have been more impressed, Linda, the Business Manager was friendly and helpful, Mark called me later to discuss the issue and came out quickly to assess the problem. Within a week Daryl had been to fit a new inverter and I was back up and running. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable service from all those I dealt with. When contracted to complete the work all administration was taken care of by Linda, and we were kept fully informed of the project timeline. Darryl and Mark, who installed panels and batteries, arrived when they said they would, were considerate, friendly and efficient. Aftercare service was also very good, helping us with completion of forms so we could sell back to the grid. Have already recommended Indigo to family and friends.

I was a bit nervous about getting solar, I had no idea what I needed and I'd read some horror stories about bad installers... In the end, it's work out great - I just had team at Indigo install solar panels, and inverter and battery at mine, also some electrical prep work. I'm very happy with the result. We'd been having problems with a malfunctioning inverter for a while. I phoned Indigo and spoke to Mark who was actually busy on a job, but he took the time to talk to me about the problem. The following day his colleague Daryl turned up and immediately diagnosed that we needed a new inverter, which he fitted during the same visit. Both these guys were extremely courteous and professional, and I have no hesitation in offering my highest recommendation!

I was experiencing problems with my Solar Panels and spoke to the original installation company who proved to be useless, I googled other companies and found Indigo, within 4 minutes of sending an email Linda had replied and said someone would be in touch imminently to discuss the problem... I was then contacted and it was suggested the Inverter had failed and that they could come out on Saturday (even better as I work Mon-Fri) and replace it. Mark turned up on time, was very courteous and respectful and took time in explaining what the problem was and how it could be fixed, a new inverter was installed at the same time as the appointment and within an hour I was back up and running again. Top service all round, no hesitation in using Indigo Energy again. Thanks!

Very impressed at the speed of service from Mark who diagnosed the issue with our solar and replaced the faulty inverter on the same day. Thank you Mark for getting the system working again.

Indigo were not our installers but we recently had them out to fix an issue with the batteries not charging. They turned up on time, completed the work quickly and explained exactly what the issues were and how they had been fixed. We’ll definitely call again if we have any further issues.

We had a fantastic experience from the team from start to finish. Initial contact was quick, the quote was informative, personalised, well put together and competitively priced with high quality equipment. Excellent communication and advice was given as the spec was tweaked to match our requirements. Never felt rushed or under pressure. The installation was efficient and professional. I had problems with solar panels not connecting to my Enphase terminal. The panels had been installed many years ago by another company. Mark came out from Indigo, diagnosed the problem and solved it quickly and efficiently. He spent a lot of time working on it and talking to the French company to get the software to work. He knew exactly what he was doing and did it extremely well. I can't recommend Indigo highly enough.

Daryl and Mark have recently installed solar PV array, Myenergi Libbi battery and Zappi ev charger. Their work is very neat and was efficiently completed at a competitive price. Our solar and battery install experience with Indigo has been excellent. Marks advice from the outset on our options was honest and balanced. The quote was clearly broken down and once we placed our order the information provided in terms of timelines and installation was good. The install went well and we are very happy with our Givenergy set up.

Mark was very helpful and took the time to explain how my solar system worked and also tidied up and corrected the wiring left by another (non Colchester) installer. A very helpful and knowledgeable man.

Not a year without some small problems but they have all been addressed quickly. The main problem I had was with the batteries not charging properly. This as due to the cold as they were installed outside. Indigo came and moved them into my workshop. All now seems well and in fact the whole system seems to have generally improved. Excellent Company would highly recommend, we had 16 panels installed, battery’s and a car charger. They were extremely professional throughout the job. The initial survey was very informative and didn’t feel pressured to purchase at anytime. I approached 7 local companies to quote for my Solar installation of panels and 3 batteries. I already knew what I wanted, so no sales pitch was required, just a working solution. Mark from Indigo gave a competitive quote and the most sensible solution, even increasing the panel count that could be fitted in the available space! He was one of the few I approached who gave me confidence that he knew how to practically achieve the result. Mark & Daryl arrived promptly on the agreed date and fitted & commissioned the system in the 2 days they originally estimated. Linda was always on the ball with the admin and in gaining all the necessary approvals and contracts. Between them they make an excellent team, one I can highly recommend.

Both Daryl and Mark have been fantastic, no pushy salesman techniques, happy to answer questions even after the install which is a rarity nowadays- can’t recommend highly enough and wouldn’t go anywhere else for additional work.

Having done extensive research, we settled on Indigo because they responded promptly and knowledgeably to all our questions and emails. Their subsequent service has been excellent, dealing with all the essential paperwork efficiently and proactively. The actual fitting of the panels and battery took a day as promised with minimal disruption to the interior of the house. We would thoroughly recommend them on the basis of our experience.

I'm really happy with the level of service I got from Indigo. They were not only cheaper than the next most competitive offer, the equipment installed was actually better and they even squeezed in an extra 410w panel into the quote.
