G Johnson Electrical

My new house needed a full rewire and Gavin and his excellent team did a fantastic job. He was very professional and explained everything very carefully. They started work on time and did a fine job. All my carpets were protected and my home was thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. The plastering work was also finished to a high standard with care taken to match the surfaces. Gavin even came in on Saturday to finish off and clean and tidy and I was able to contact him and discuss the work at any time. I would totally recommend Gavin Johnson Electrical if you need a rewire or any smaller electrical jobs.

I needed a light fitting done urgently and the team at G Johnson came through brilliantly. They arrived promptly, were professional and friendly, and completed the job quickly and to a really high standard. I really appreciated the swift response and quality work - highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gavin and his team did a fantastic job of installing heaters in our offices! Cannot recommend enough!

G Johnson Electrical completed a full house rewire and a safe certificate in March 25. The other reviews made my decision to request an estimate. First class service from beginning to end including the plastering. Work completed matching the estimate without a single snag. Trust is a very important part of any job and this company works to a very high standard. Thanks again.

I cannot recommend Gavin and his team highly enough. Gavin has completed two jobs for my mum and I. One involved an external commando unit and external sockets fitted, new spotlights in the bathroom and the second job was a new house alarm and security cameras. All jobs were completed to an exceptionally high standard. Gavin is quick to answer your call, he gives an honest quote which you can understand, explaining exactly what is needed. Gavin and his team get the job done to a high standard, they are highly skilled at what they do and are thoroughly polite and friendly. We are thrilled with the work Gavin and his team have done. Thank you!

I’d give Gav and his team 10 stars if I could. Full rewire in a house that’s semi habitable. Very impressed with the professionalism, politeness and work rate of this team. The work was carried out fast and to a very high standard. Most impressive was the communication throughout and the cleanup afterwards. I felt respected and valued as a customer. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you Gav and team.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I recently hired Gav for a couple of jobs, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! He was professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, provided a fair and transparent quote, and completed the job efficiently. The work was done to a high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterward. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a reliable and skilled electrician. I will definitely be calling them again for any future electrical needs!

Gavin was in touch throughout the rewire keeping me up-to-date with progress and any problems they encountered. We are very pleased with all their work and we were impressed with how tidy they left the house on completion. Gavin was outstanding in helping me navigate all the requirements for my renovation project. His team was professional, efficient, and completed the work in stages to ensure everything was done in an organized manner. They were also very tidy, always cleaning up after themselves, and made sure that all work was finished to a high standard. I highly recommend Gavin and his team for any electrical needs!

Received quote from Gavin, organised date for work to be carried out, Gavin and his team arrived promptly on the day, carried out the work professionally explaining exactly what they were doing at each stage, once the work was complete they cleaned up after themselves, overall excellent job, and a great price for the work. I am very happy with the works carried out and would highly recommend Gavin and his team to anyone requiring any electrical work. Great company and a fantastic team. Thank you

Amazing company and very professional electricians!! I’d highly recommend this company to anybody in need of electricians. Definitely masters in their field! Myself and my partner moved into this house a few weeks ago and realised we’d need more plugs. Gavin came same day to give us a free quote. He discussed different options and we decided a full rewrite would be needed. He arranged his business jobs the following week to fit us in. They fully retired the house within a week and gave a very good price. They were quick, efficient, knowledgable very professional. They cleaned up after themselves aswell which is an added bonus! Thank you so much for your service! Of we need electricians again we will definitely go with you guys!!

I can't recommend G Johnson Electrical enough! They recently completed a full rewire of my house, and I'm thrilled with the results. From the start, they were incredibly professional and punctual. They arrived on time for every appointment, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and were always happy to answer any questions I had. The quality of their work is outstanding and any issues that arose during the job on our old Edwardian property, were promptly solved. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Worth recommending, always on time and work done to a high standard

We have used G Johnson Electrical many times and always happy with the work carried out from Gavin and his team. The last job just recently was done quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend and we wouldn’t want to use anyone else ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Used Gav for a full rewire. Done in a few days. Brilliant communication and quality!

Gavin was really nice. Arrived promptly on time and came in with his mate carrying everything he would need including his own stepladders. He installed the new strip light he had supplied in a very few minutes. It was brilliant. Just what I needed and to the brightness I had had previously. I was very satisfied. There was no mess left and within a half hour all was done and he was leaving. I had struggled all over the Christmas period with no light in my kitchen. The difference after Gavin's visit was amazing. I'm so pleased to have found him. I hope he will be free for other work in the future.

Gavin was quick, effective, reasonable and professional. Highly recommended! I had some smart metres fitted and the engineers informed me that the sockets in my kitchen had the live and neutral connections reversed. I phoned a few placed before finding this number and was won over when he was able to explain his availability and price within the call. My experience with the other numbers I found on google involved speaking to someone in a call centre who was only able to advise the call out charge and roughly how soon they could get someone out - feeling like I could be either scammed our over charged. I was very reassured that I could trust him after the call and will use him again for any further electric work I require in the future.

Extremely professional, friendly, tidy. Highly recommended. Will definitely use again.

I was very much in need of an electrician and he came out same day no problem. Very fast, efficient, great quality. Highly recommend.

Gavin and his team were approachable, professional and polite at all times. On the day of the job, they arrived on time. He explained and discussed any matters arising before proceeding further. Thereafter, the job was completed quickly and the site left clean and tidy. The job reports were completed in a timely manner and the invoice presented within a few days. Since the work was completed, I have contacted Gavin for advice generally and each time he has been accommodating and very helpful. I would definitely use his company’s services again.

Full House rewire completed to a very high standard, extremely professional, courteous and reliable. Highly recommend trustworthy and honest.

Many thanks to Gavin and his team for an excellent service - reliably polite, professional, punctual, well organised, and conscientious, with good communication, a flexible and positive 'can do' attitude to a wide range of jobs, and an excellent finish and attention to detail. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

Gav and one of his colleagues (sorry, I didn't catch his name) came over to do the job. They were quick but not rushed, knew their stuff and did a bang up job of it. Friendly, left everything neat and tidy, works a treat, and took me through how to use it to find a faulty appliance if I needed to. Well worth it, would definitely recommend. Cheers guys.

G Johnson Electrical have done good quality work at my property before. When I needed some lights replacing I contacted Gavin again and they did a great job for a reasonable price.

Prompt pleasant and done swift good job will definitely use again when needed and of course value for money 👍👍

G Johnson Electrical was asked to do some work at our property and Gav the owner kept to his word, turned up on time, stayed till the work was done and completed it to a very high standard. I cant recommend them enough. Top work from a top guy. Keep it up.

Brilliant service excellent rates

Gavin came and did some work for me at quite short notice, which included connecting a Nest, putting light fittings into a hallway, sorting out faulty wiring and several other things. The standard of the work was high and he left no mess. He was efficient, quick, very reasonably priced and easy to have around and I would absolutely recommend him.

After having problems with nearly every tradesman that has stepped foot into my house, G Johnson were amazing. They came in, offered advice, did the jobs required (even sorting someone else's terrible work which wasn't easy) and they are also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and I will never use another electrician again.

Was very happy with the job Gavin completed for us... a security light and 5 other outdoor lights on a timer.... turned up when he said he would, Completed a tidy job, would definitely have Gavin back round for our future electrical jobs, polite and friendly, would recommend to friends.

He sourced them for mew and advised re dimmer switches and got the job done in both rooms brilliantly. The job was again clean and professional and the lights look great. I will be using Gavin again for any further electrical jobs
