J.Clail Electrical Services

There is a reason why Jack has 5 star reviews across the board. A great professional to deal with. Very clear communications & very reliable! Would definitely recommend and be using again. Thanks, Jack!

Jack is an exceptional electrician. Our shower wiring failed twice in one week at the Airbnb, and he was incredibly efficient in diagnosing the issue. He discovered it was faulty wiring and contacted his wholesaler, who delivered the replacement wire within 15 minutes talk about efficient service. He was also able to replace the wiring without turning off the breaker since I had the laundry machine running. He even wore foot coverings when entering the home such a thoughtful detail that shows his professionalism. One of the kindest electricians I’ve met, and I wish there were more like him back in the States who prioritize quality work over shortcuts. Contact J Clail Electrician if you need reliable, quality electrical work done right!

We were delighted by the quick and efficient service provided by Jack when we needed urgent electrical work done in our house in Bath. He was friendly, helpful and tidy in his work. We can certainly recommend him.

We recently had work done by Jack and were extremely impressed with his service. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and very friendly. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, completed the work to a high standard, and made sure everything was neat and safe before leaving. It’s refreshing to find someone who clearly cares about their craft and provides such great customer service. We would highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled electrician. Thank you, Jack! ⚡👍

Jack was fantastic! He replaced our bathroom extractor fan quickly and efficiently, and the quality of his work was excellent. He was punctual, tidy, and very respectful of our home throughout the job. We’re extremely pleased with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to call him again. Highly recommended!

Jack was really helpful, very efficient and sorted out the EICR for me. Would recommend Jack to others.

Excellent service. Will definitely be using again.

J Clail Electrical Services undertook the challenging task of bringing the very dated electrics in our Georgian ground floor flat up to the latest EICR certificated standard, complete with new fuse board. The kitchen required a new underfloor feed and a complete rewire to cope with a new kitchen installation and a new induction hob. The high vaulted ceilings and complex plasterwork, combined with chandelier lighting throughout the flat, made it particularly important to minimize damage where rewiring was needed and the use of the latest radio controlled switches in some areas enabled us to avoid what would have involved costly repair work and to keep installation damage to a minimum. The planning, expertise and detail which J Clail Services put into our rewire project was most impressive and the work was carried out to a very high professional standard, with emphasis on detail and regular consultation. The result has been a very satisfactory conclusion to the project with certification at an affordable price which has enhanced the value of our property.

Fantastic service. Brilliant communication. Quick and efficient, very tidy. Would highly recommend.

Very prompt - Jack came out to me very punctually and the service I received was very good; very friendly guy as well

Couldn't be happier with the work. Great communication, great work (very patient at explaining instructions). Came highly recommended and I am happy to pass on the recommendation.

We are having some work on our house involving chasing in new sockets, adding new sockets and internal and external lights and wanted someone local to carry this out, after bit of googling, I contacted Jack who came out straight away and sent a quote through promptly, and he could fit in with our timeframe. His work has been excellent and he has made lots of helpful suggestions - we would have no hesitation in recommending him if you want someone who takes pride in his work and won’t mess you about

Jack is skilled, professional, solutions focused and provides fantastic value for money. Highly recommended (from a picky person!)

Jack did a fantastic job, making great suggestions about how to improve the wiring in the house. I would definitely recommend him.

Truly the best trades person we have ever worked with! We had a list of electrical odd jobs and was concerned that no-one would want to take them on. Jack was very informative and knowledgeable, offering solutions, nothing was a problem. The quote came in at a reasonable price and he was available to start within 2 weeks. During the works, Jack was the upmost professional. There was minimal disruption to the electricity supply which enabled me to continue to work from home. He would notify me if it was going to be loud due to the drilling. His work is of the highest standard and he was clean and tidy. Highly recommend Jack, and we would use him again for any of our electrical work.

Jack did a great job rewiring our kitchen and a couple of other bits and pieces around the house. Very helpful in regards to what was needed, accommodated any changes in plans and always happy to answer any questions we had along the way.

Jack rewired my home last month and throughout the process, from the initial visit right through to the thorough clean up job, he's been the utmost professional. He provides technical information in a way that's easy to understand and explains your options. It's easy to trust him and I'm really glad that I chose him for the job.

Jack fitted us in at short notice when we needed some urgent work doing. His work was of a high standard and he and his workmate were professional and easy to have around. Would recommend!

Jack installed an induction hob in our kitchen as well as fixing several other issues around the house. Jack was quick, friendly and professional, and explained everything he was doing. I would 100% use again for future work.

Excellent communication, friendly and professional. Solved our issue promptly! Thanks so much.

Excellent from start to finish. Highly Recommended.

Jack came to the rescue to replace a broken light fitting for my elderly parents. They were amazed by his work ethic. He was sympathetic to their elderly needs, efficient and tidied up afterwards. They now have a working light. He responded quickly to my message and did the job within 48 hrs of me asking. Can't praise him enough. Thank you Jack

I can highly recommend Jack - friendly and polite, good standard of work at competitive price, reliable in terms of time keeping - will definitely use him again! :-)

Jack and George did the first fix for my new kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier! They were incredibly punctual and were polite and professional throughout. The quality of their work was excellent and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. I would definitely recommend Jack and George to anyone looking for reliable and skilled electricians EDIT: They've now completed the second fix and the finish is spectacular. Even making the cable runs in trunking very neat

Had a problem with my thermostat, Jack understood the problem and George came and installed new one. This was all done very quickly and at a very reasonable price. Both Jack and George very friendly and professional. I thoroughly recommend this company and will definitely use them in future. First class and many thanks!

Jack rewired my whole house in 2021. About a week’s worth of work and he was very flexible with parts arriving at different times and working around my other renovation schedules. He was knowledgeable and recommended a lot of things. Clean and tidy work! We even had a small issue where a hidden water pipe was knocked and he sorted it out quickly and professionally. I’ve since recommended him to someone at my work who had their whole flat rewired with Jack and was also impressed with the work. Highly recommend!

Excellent work, navigating a challenging existing electrical setup whilst remaining professional and courteous.

What fantastic and reliable service. Thank you Jack.

We recently used Jack and George to re-centre our main lights and install and replace some new sockets throughout the house. Both were friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard and they left the house spotless. We would highly recommend and we will use again for future projects.

What a pleasure! I have no problem giving J Clail Elec Services a 5-star rating. Professional and friendly and my problem resolved quickly. I won't hesitate to call them should I need an electrician in the future.

Jack is a great electrician. Simple, clear and honest quoting. Work performed efficiently and to a high standard. I’d highly recommend Jack to anyone and is an asset to Keynsham. I’ll be using his services for any future projects.

Jack and George recently completed a fair bit of electrical work during the build of our extension and downstairs remodel. They visited the house a few times during the build, and every time they were very friendly and professional, offering solutions or giving suggestions where needed. Jack is definitely a perfectionist, so all his work is extremely neat, with positioning of lighting and sockets meticulously measured out. Would definitely use Jack again for future work, and thoroughly recommend.

Jack is very responsive and made time to see us as soon as he could, which we really appreciated. We’re really happy with the job he did for us. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician!

Great electrician. Professional, friendly, efficient and very tidy. Installed some lights for us. Just moved to the area and glad to have found a good local electrician - would recommend and will use again for our next job!

Jack was great from the very first contact. He promptly provided estimate and arranged to visit and arrived when he said he would. He was very friendly, efficient and the place was spotless when he’d finished. I have no hesitation in recommending Jack for any electrical job.

I was passed Jack's details from a friend after we lost ground floor lighting from a leak. Jack was incredibly helpful and made time to come look at the problem as soon as he could. He is super friendly and explained everything he was doing. He was easy to contact and he kept me updated. I would definitely recommend him to others and will be using him again myself.

Jack did a brilliant job rewiring our house for Ethernet. He really cares about a professional finish. Very fairly priced. Highly recommended.

Friendly, professional and responsive. I would highly recommend Jack for future work and to anyone needing a trustworthy and skilled electrician.

A friend recommended Jack to me, he was very polite and prompt and did a thorough and tidy job. I'd hire him again.

Very happy with the service. Came out with very short notice and sorted out a power supply for the air conditioning we had fitted. Very processional ,quick and also cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with the service and will definitely recommend them. Many thanks guys.

Another excellant & professional job by Jack. Competitive and on time.

10/10 services, very helpful, high quality and punctual! Can’t fault anything about Jack’s team and service. George and himself helped our business open and we are running without fault because of his electrical work- in addition all work done helped us pass our fire risk assessment and without his help we wouldn’t be able to be trading today. 100% recommend to all including homeowners and businesses a-like.

High standard of work & professionalism.

Excellent service and so helpful. Prompt, reliable and very knowledgeable. He explained things very clearly and solved our problem. Highly recommend.

George and Jack were really professional, friendly and efficient. They responded to our initial enquiry very quickly and carried out the work promptly explaining everything along the way. Highly recommend!

Fantastic neat job to a complex electrical issue.

We had a variety of electrical jobs done. Jack was friendly, punctual, efficient and did a good job. He also clearly explained everything which was appreciated.

Jack's communication was brilliant. He took time to explain the fault to me and get all the relevant parts quickly. The job was more complicated than we thought but Jack went above and beyond what I'd asked him to do, and more. I wouldn't hesitate to engage him again for all my electrical work.

Jack added two double sockets and two lights, all in awkward positions. He cleverly avoided causing damage when routing cables. He was friendly, organised and punctual. Quality work at reasonable price.

Highly recommend! I had an induction hob installed, which needed a new cable from the consumer unit to the kitchen. Jack provided a truly professional service from start to finish - very courteous with a can-do attitude. I also appreciated him keeping me updated throughout the work. He’ll be the first person I contact when the next job comes around!

Isn’t it great when you get a fast response & great service at a fair price? Highly recommend. Thanks Jack!

We’ve had a brilliant experience using Jack, he is friendly, organised and efficient and would recommend him for any job. He came round to quote and was very clear explaining exactly what the work would involve. He’s done a brilliant job, leaving any external cables neat and tidy and barely visible, and managed to remove and replace our floorboards without leaving a trace! He also tidied our house and left it safe and secure so when we got home you wouldn’t know he’d been here! Exceptional service from a lovely guy and we’ll definitely use and recommend him to anyone in future.

Jack did electrics at our property, and was really conscientious to make sure things were at the correct height, that he used the correct fixings and not just the ones that came in the packing, and generally both him and his colleague George were very professional and courteous, so would highly recommend them.

Jack installed the electrics in our rear kitchen extension. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough, him and his team are professional, courteous and their standard of work is of a very high quality. They explained what was happening every step of the way in a polite and easy to understand way and I will definitely have them back for work in the future!

We had an emergency electrical problem which Jack swiftly diagnosed and sorted. He kept us well informed throughout the process, explained everything really well and completed the job with a very professional attitude. We will definitely be using this company for any future electrical issues/requirements - thank you, Jack!

Trustworthy, very professional, great advice, clean and tidy and detail orientated, highly recommend!

Efficient, friendly and professional service.

Excellent. Reliable and thorough. I highly recommend J Clail Electrical Services.

Jack recently relocated and fitted several plugs for us as part of our renovation. Jack was fantastic as communicating with us, always arrived when he said he would and did a great job. We will definitely be using him for any electrician work n the future. Highly recommend!

Jack was incredibly responsive and helpful. He wasn't worried about the size of the job and came out quickly, worked out what needed doing and got it done quickly and effectively leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards. A very good man to know!

My mum had an issue with a storage heater. Jack checked it over thoroughly and gave some useful advice. He arrived on time, put her at ease and was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Took a punt in an emergency situation and boy did it pay off, Jack was a breath of fresh air, so knowledgable and efficient, no fuss, just got on diagnosing and he explained everything he was doing and why. He’s definitely on our list as the one to ring for any electrical work we might need in the future. All done in a short time, at a good price and a neat finish.

21st November 2023 - This time it involved the lighting system in the house. Again exactly the same comments as for 20th July 2023. Excellent. 20 July 2023 - Carried out an EICR for us. They were very efficient, quiet , polite, professional, explained exactly what they were doing and why and cleared up after themselves. Strongly recommend them.

Jack communicated well during the booking and planning process and was on time for both appointments. His attitude was friendly yet professional. The work was completed and the certificate provided. We would definitely use the company again.

Rarely experienced service without drama or unnecessary dialogue. Straight to the point, very adaptive to the need (an old house which could have easily been an expensive and wasteful cost) the service was exceptional, time was managed particularly well (elderly occupant remained in the house during the re-wiring period) and we now have an electrician to trust for any related future business including knowledge of broader building services which this firm can recommend. More importantly; that I would trust. Welcome these days. This was a difficult re-wiring task to undertake and it was dealt with superbly. Since the installation, everything works as it should and compared to the original install, it all seems normal and as useable (this was not expected as the original power sockets were commonly available throughout the original 1960's layout of the house; including later adaptations). To have a safe, fully insurance-compliant dwelling without the risk of incident or accident for an elderly occupant (who has no intention of going anywhere else....) this was a particularly challenging job met with a fair and inexpensive cost, considering the task in hand. Another thing less to worry about. Outstanding.

Jack wired in a new hob for us that needed some chasing of the walls and upgrades to the wiring. He did a great job, super clean and tidy and is a really friendly guy too. He’ll definitely be our go to if we need anymore electrical work, highly recommend!

It is difficult to think of any way J Clail could have improved on the quality of the work done at my house. Jack was polite, professional, thoughtful and quick to react to the problem a had. J Clail Electrical Services will be first on my list to call in future.

J Clail electrical services have just completed a job in a bedroom which i am refurbishing, the experience from first contact to completion has been great, reponded very quicly to my approch delivered a quote as promised and completed job as arranged cannot fault service, communication or professionalism. Will definately be using again an would reccommend.

Jack has been our go-to electrician for two separate jobs now. He's happy to answer queries and offer insightful advice on electrical matters. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Jack was bang on from the start when I phoned him. He came round and I showed him what I work I would like done. (Some additional garage sockets, lights and outdoor sockets). He explained how it would be no problem and would get a quote to me that night and so he did. We booked in a day and got the work done. Reasonably priced, but more importantly well mannered. Keep up the good work buddy. Thanks again! Josh

Fantastic service! Thorough EICR on our new home, explained everything clearly. Professional and reliable service. I highly recommend Jack and his team for peace of mind. Thanks again 👍

Jack and George were both fantastic. Jack’s service was extremely efficient, he would respond quickly and when he arrived he provided an excellent service. George also attended and was equally great. Overall an extremely positive experience. Thank you!

I really can’t recommend Jack and his team enough. I’ve used his services a few times now and I’ve always found him to be professional and efficient, and his prices very reasonable. Recently I got him in to do a small job at my rental property. While he was there he spotted a serious safety issue in wiring someone else had previously done. The safety issue was in an area he wasn’t even working on - he just went above and beyond and thought he’d check anyway. I’m so relieved he did because the safety issue could have caused a fire and never would have been discovered otherwise. Seriously, hire Jack for all your electrical needs and you’ll not only get a great electrician, but you’ll be able to sleep easier at night too!

Jack was professional throughout, punctual, and polite. He came to fix a light switch which was faulty and I asked him advice on another issue, which he gave willingly and suggested it probably wasn't worth the money to do it, honesty which I appreciated. Will definitely use Jack again if needed.

Jack and George were professional, reliable and very tidy!! Thank you for sorting our electrical issue quickly. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Super responsive, professional and all work of the very highest standard. Have used mutilple times and my go-to for all electrical needs.

We used Jack company to help with wiring my light in. He was professional throughout the whole process, gave good advise and went above and beyond to get the job done quickly Thankyou

Jack is professional, friendly and a real young gentleman…Clean and considerate to people s homes…Nothing is too much,he’s highly recommended..

Would highly recommend Jack, very professional, polite and punctual, gets on with the job and cleans up after himself.

Jack was on time for both visits to me, checking it was convenient beforehand. Jack changed a hard wired carbon monoxide monitor and replaced a faulty dimmer switch, he also checked a wall socket was working as it should. I cannot fault his work at all, he knows what he is doing and the regulations he has to work to. He was friendly, professional and tidy in his work. I will definitely use his services again.

A brilliant professional service from start to finish. Clearly explained and nothing too much trouble. Felt safe in their hands. Cleaned up very well when works completed each visit. Great after care as well. Highly recommend them. Thank you Jack & George! Glyn & Karen.

Very good service from initial inspection, quote of work and completion of the fitting. Thanks for doing this job for us.

As always, he’s professional, upbeat, prompt, hard working. Will definitely use again.

Had booked Jack Clail through recommendation from our bathroom fitters. Jack arrived promptly after an unbeatable quote with a smile on his face and a brilliant can do attitude. He was very polite and fitted our new double oven in a flash. Had a nice chat to Jack and he seems like a wonderful young man. I will definitely be recommending to others and will definitely be my go to electrician. 10/10. Thankyou again Jack From Jim, Beckie and the old lady in Kingswood 🤣👍

Brilliant service at a great price! We recently had a new side extension built and all the electrical installations were provided by Jack. From the outset, the communication was great and he worked with us to understand what we needed and where. Once the build got underway, Jack was quick and efficient with his work meaning no delay to the work going on around him and was also very flexible to come back when things hadn't progressed fast enough for him to complete his work. He also made suggestions as the work progressed for things we hadn't thought about (including a direct cable to the internet from the new office). These weren't a hard sell but rather ideas that we may not have thought of - he definitely wasn't offended if we said no. The work was completed to a very high standard and all the way through he was checking that things were where we wanted them. I am happy to highly recommend Jack as his work, price and friendly approachable manner were all brilliant. Thanks Jack!

Super friendly and professional. Thorough and diligent until the last. Would highly recommend!

Jack arrived promptly last night (Sunday). He is professional and polite and found the problem very quickly. Within half an hour of arriving he had all our electrics running again. We would certainly use Jack again and recommend him highly. He did actually put the lights and fan into our bathroom a few years ago when subcontracted to someone else, and I remembered him and his excellent job!

Highly recommended. I’m a landlord and I’ve used Jack Clail several times over the past year for business and private jobs. My only regret is that I didn’t find this guy sooner! Jack is reliable, his pricing is competitive, his workmanship is second to none, his attention to detail and thought while on the job ensures a superb result always with additional benefits not even perceived at the time the jobs were commissioned. His explanations are clear and concise. He leaves a site spotless and while on site he’s a gentleman. In my experience, if you choose Jack Clail you’ll be pleased with service, price and result.

Jack did a brilliant job of rewiring our kitchen for a new installation, we gave him a design layout and every cable socket and light was in the correct place when the new kitchen was installed, also added spotlights and under cabinet lighting would highly recommend

My firm used Jack and his team and they were excellent from start to finish, couldn’t recommend more highly!

Excellent service from Jack Clail. Would definitely use him again and would highly recommend.

The chimney sweep discovered 2 wires through the chimney to the boiler and hot water/heating programmer which were damaged in the process. As we were without hot water Jack made a special trip to replace and re-route the cables. Excellent and tidy work. Thoroughly recommend.

Really good - knowledgeable, professional and friendly service. Neat, tidy and great quality work.

In my experience this is 5 star service..and can thoroughly recommend this company...

Jack and his team are very professional and go the extra mile to get the job done well. We continue to use and recommend them for jobs.

I’ve used Jack and his team for many jobs around the house. They’ve been excellent each time! Professional, responsive, clean and tidy! I would highly recommend!

We have used J.Clail a number of times and they have always been responsive , professional and good value. They turn up when arranged and are easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

I’m so happy with all the work J clail electrical services have done. Very professional and let me change my mind until I was fully happy with what I wanted. Such a high quality of work. Both Jack and George are very friendly and professional

Smart and professional, highly recommended! Ran a EICR report and carried out the remedial works. Good communication throughout.

Absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be using Jack again. Cannot recommend him enough.

I have used J Clail electrical services for a number of years now and have never been disappointed. Jack is a very pleasant and trustworthy man and gives a very high standard of work, therefore would always be my fist choice.

I always recommend jack to my customers purely based on (I fit alot of bathrooms) 1. I know they won't cut corners and will always be left safe. 2. Everything will be above & beyond (not just meet) regulations. 3. Every step will be thought through before and whilst installing and will find the best route to run cables with the least disruption. 4. The sockets/fixtures that he supplies are high quality compared to the likes of other places/stores. (even something that I've personally learnt) My review is based on what I've seen and will always recommend

Jack and George did a great job fitting my sockets, lights and switches. Jack was brilliant and very helpful when discussing the work and organising a date. They were very polite and left the house clean and tidy after they had finished. I would recommend j clail and will use them again.

First job: Jack came out the same day we called him to give us an estimate, which was competitive and promptly sent. Once we accepted, he arranged for George to call the next morning. George arrived on time and did an excellent job, cleaned up afterwards, leaving everything in order. Second job: Jack and George arrived when they said they would. The job was a complicated one due to access issues, but they persevered to find a positive solution. I really could not fault their work, which was tidy and thorough or the service provided, which was excellent. Both Jack and George were lovely and we will be definitely using J Clail Electrical Services again in the future. Many thanks.
