JC ELECTRICAL LEEDS LTD

JC Electrical were recently engaged to carry out EICR inspections at three of my tenanted properties. They carried out the inspections and provided the reports in a timely manner, presenting clear options for the remedial work required. The subsequent work was carried out to a very high standard and I’m extremely happy with the service I received. Thanks to James and the team. I have no hesitation in recommending J C Electrical for residential or commercial work.

I have used JC Electrical for some additional work on a Sunsynk system and they were very through. James and his team made sure the work was finished and were very detail oriented. Easy communication as well. I will use again!

James Cohen of JC Electrical installed my solar panels in Spring 2025 and I was extremely impressed throughout the process. He was efficient, tidy, considerate, and very easy to talk to — happy to explain things clearly without any jargon. He worked seamlessly with my roofer and builder, to the extent that they’ve since gone on to work together on other jobs, which says a great deal about how well he collaborates on site. The installation was well organised and carried out with care and professionalism. James has also been excellent with after-service support and follow-up, and his pricing was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Working with James and his team has been a complete joy. I had engaged many suppliers (including the usual national companies), and none of them were as forthcoming, flexible, patient and as knowledgable as JC Electrical - right from the first phone call right through to completion, they were totally on the ball. We were able to thoroughly discuss a range of options for equipment, ecosystem and implementation practicalities. There was nothing that was too much trouble. James is one of the very few contractors that I've felt wanted to do a good and proper job - more than myself. It is a true rarity. I'd recommend these guys in a heart beat to anyone.

Great to work with, James is friendly, really cares about getting a good result and we always provides a reliable service. We've worked together on a number of projects now and someone I regularly recommend.

James and his team installed 6 panels on our roof this summer. He worked well with our roofing team to install the panels round new Velux windows and stayed late to overcome some connection issues to get the system up and running. James is very approachable and happily came back to help us make sense of the app.

I contacted JC Electrical Ltd for a local quote for Solar Panels with Battery to compare with 2 national companies. I got a prompt and comprehensive proposal that reflected exactly what I needed. The quote was very competitive, around 15-20% below the others. James came to do a site survey and was able to answer all my questions and confirmed the quotation. He was able to offer an installation date within 2 weeks. Everything went smoothly from scaffolding erection to fitting the panels on the roof as well as the very neat installation of inverter and battery. Superb service, efficient, tidy and on time. The system is working well and saving us money even in November!

I came across JC Electrical nearly 2 years ago after starting a new role. We have unfortunately had numerous major building related issues but James has always been very responsive, helpful & reassuring. Any work done is always quoted & agreed in advance, work is done efficiently, effectively & tidily with progress updates being given along the way. Special mention also goes to Dave & Jordan that work with James, when JC Electrical attend we know that we can leave them to do the work, and trust that it's done professionally and to the correct required standards. I would definitely & confidently recommend JC Electrical to anyone out there looking for electrical services

JC Solar is highly recommended! James is professional, friendly and thorough. He guided us through everything and was always available if we had any questions. The quote was competitive and installation top notch! I would genuinely advise Anyone looking to install solar calls JC Solar!

James and his team carried an installation of a 25 kW Solar PV system at TSL Electrical & Data Services Ltd (York), which included 50 solar panels. James was highly professional and communicative, delivering excellent work and service. I highly recommend them and have had him carry out other electrical works since. Thank you!

JC Electrical installed solar panels for us and I heartily recommend them. From our first introductory conversation, James explained the whole process clearly and sent us further information so we could make an informed choice to go ahead. His quote was reasonable & covered all aspects of the installation, including scaffolding. The work was carried out smoothly and efficiently and everything connected with the panels has been clearly explained. Excellent firm

I couldn’t be happier with the service from JC Electrical. From the moment they arrived, it was clear I was in good hands. The team turned up exactly when they said they would, which is rare and much appreciated. They were incredibly professional throughout – polite, respectful, and clearly very knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and took real care to keep everything clean and tidy as they went along. By the time they left, the place was spotless – you wouldn’t have known any electrical work had been done! What stood out most was how willing they were to help. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to a high standard. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that takes such pride in their work. I wouldn’t hesitate to use JC Electrical again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Was in need of a EICR James and Dave did a great job and did all work needed in a tight timeframe. Professional and friendly and work was done to a very high standard. Will use time and time again. Thank you James and Dave

We have installed a new roof with 10 x integrated into the roof solar panels and battery. Most solar companies want to place the solar panels onto the existing roof which personally I don't like as much as the integrated ones so its hard to find a company like JCE who will work alongside the roof installer and project manage the whole installation. James organised regular meetings with myself and the new roof installer so that we all knew our responsibilities, time scales and the deadline. The installation went without one hick-up. We are very happy with JCE and would highly recommend them. 5 STARS

JC Electrical have just installed solar panels and a storage battery at my home and everything has been completed to such a high standard and in a timely manor i can highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solar install or any electrical work they require. James and the guys conducted them selves very professionally throughout and everything went perfectly. Thank You James.

After a rocky start with JC Electrical arranging dates, we had them carry out work on our solar panel system today. Really happy with the service and quality of work. Would recommend.

We had a need to relocate our Tesla Powerwall within the premises and James (and his colleague) did a very efficient job for us. The site was tidy when they left, the kit was working and James checked we were satisfied before he drove off. Certainly use the business again for relevant jobs.

We asked JC Electrical to look after the PAT Testing needs of our equipment both in the studio and for the kit that goes out on location. It’s critical that this is updated, both for the safety of the team, but also without this, some clients won’t allow us on their premises if we can’t provide proof of valid VAT Testing. The JC Electrical team turned up and got all our equipment sorted in half a day, they were no issue, working around the team and causing minimal disruption to allow our operations to continue. Thanks to everyone at JC Electrical, I’d highly recommend you to anyone.

James came to fit some spotlights and did a great job, fit them really quickly and left no mess, would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic Service from JC Electrical! We recently used JC Electrical for an EICR inspection and the necessary remedial work as part of our house-buying process, and we couldn’t be happier with the service! James was extremely professional, communicative, and efficient throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, completed the remedial work swiftly, and ensured our installation met the required standards in no time. His attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work really stood out. If you need a reliable and skilled electrician, I highly recommend James and JC Electrical. Fantastic service from start to finish!

James and his team are highly professional and communicative, delivering excellent work and service. I highly recommend them for their installation of a 67.5 kW Solar PV system at Hettich in Salford, which included 150 solar panels. I will definitely choose JC Electrical for all future projects. Thank you!

Do you know what really happened today? We’re a photo booth with only one machine, and suddenly, there was no power. It’s the last Saturday of December, and who’s working on a day like this? I was truly devastated. But then, JC ELECTRICAL LEEDS LTD immediately messaged me back, and within an hour, I was able to meet an electrician at the shop. He found the issue right away, fixed it, and left. I highly recommend this company to any business dealing with electrical problems. I’m so grateful. I wish for JC LTD People to gain wealth with every inhale and health with every exhale.

Thank you James for a first class job. Reliable, friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Dave fitted some spot lights and outdoor security lights. He was professional, tidied up after himself and left me feeling happy and secure. I would use JC Electrical again for a hassle free service.

Brilliant company. James was really helpful and provided expert advice right from the start. I had a complicated job that required coordination with British Gas and Northern Power. When their technicians both let me down, James couldn't have been more accommodating and rescheduled the work as soon as he could. Very professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The work was completed quickly and is exactly what I needed. James and his team tidy up carefully afterwards - I think it looks tidier than before they arrived! I can't recommend highly enough. Would be my first choice if I needed electrical work again.

I had a full rewire and I got a good service for a good price and left it all tidy. They were fine me making a few changes to original specs, very happy, thanks guys 🙏

Enthusiastic and professional attitude. Excellent work carried out on time and the engineer went above and beyond what was expected. No hesitation in recommending this company and believe me I have used a lot of trades people.

Great job by the lads installing a fused spur into my garage. Made it look easy. Sorted it all out very quickly and left no mess behind. Would 100% recommend

Brilliant service form James this morning. Very punctual and polite. Very tidy work too

James provided a fantastic service & did a great job in re-wiring our kitchen & dining room that we had knocked together. James worked seamlessly with the other trades involved in the job with no issues whatsoever. Courtesy and punctuality were always clearly important factors in the service James provided & his determination to work through any challenges he faced to resolution was clearly important to him. This extended to researching & delivering solutions to requirements we had specific to our job. We will definitely ask James to carry out any future electrical work we need doing.

James and his team showed great workmanship at a reasonable price, completed to a high standard and very quickly. I can’t fault them and would highly recommend them.
