DH Electrical Services

Honest, friendly, polite and efficient. A fair price too.

Excellent service from Dave. Very quick response to my query raised on the website re shower repair. Estimate received and job completed within 24 hours. Very professional, reasonable rates and great workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

Did an OK job, but expensive. Ignored my messages asking to fix a snag. Hammered nails into an asbestos roof - why!? Edit: lose another star - found a load of bricks he blew out and didn't repair.

Fantastic! I would recommend in an instant. So professional and reliable. Nothing is too challenging and they work hard to find solutions and leave everything nice and tidy too! So grateful for all the work they’ve done for us this year.

Make sure to read the ENTIRE REVIEW!!! Contacted DH Electrical on Sunday and was informed they could have a chap with us Monday afternoon. Lee arrived promptly and went above and beyond to complete the job. The price was excellent the work was exemplary. Lee finish the job and cleaned up what little mess there was. I have no issues in recommending DH Electrical to anyone. Thank you for a job well done. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Since posting this review I had to get another electrician.out to look at te light they installed for me. The light had been installed badly, there were exposed wires that could've caused injury when changing the bulb or touching the metalwork ANDthe fitting hadn't been peeled to prevent water ingress from the rain. Aside from the fact that I've wasted £85 on a cowboy installation, it could have seriously injured or killed due to poor shoddy installation work.

Amazing service and quick fast and reliable electrician will not use no body else this is the 2nd time I've used Daniel Paul now for putting lights up for me& cant thank them enough! Only asked me when my availability was on Friday for this week and was here the following week completed and no hassle what so ever, the lad come in no messing around cleaned up after himself checked was all working and i was happy with the job! Couldn't recommend yous enough to everyone! Thank you so much x

Super friendly, very informative and got us booked in quickly! Thank you!

Really pleased with the work completed by DH Electrical, will definitely use the guys again in the future.

Amazing service! Dave arrived on time and was incredibly professional and swift. Clean job, no mess left behind and an absolute gent. Would definitely recommend!

Really pleased with Dave's work, and friendly approach. Will definitely use again, and highly recommend

Can’t recommend highly enough. Replaced two sockets and fitted a ceiling light for us. Easy to book in, really good to deal with (Dave gently and diligently provided some expectation management which turned out not to be an issue in the end but was good to have at the outset), clean and tidy and very reasonably priced; and had the patience of a saint with arranging and making sure our new light fitting was sitting exactly as we wanted it. Superb- will definitely use again.

A lovely experience. Dave was so communicative and such a nice man. The job was done perfectly and efficiently and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend 😁

Turned up exactly on time, did the job quickly with no fuss for the price quoted. Could not ask for better! Highly recommended.

I chose DH Electrical Services based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Despite the work being a relatively small job (electrical installation assessment for a property purchase), Dave’s communication and service throughout was excellent. The work was completed on time and as hoped. He was very responsive to any questions I had, and he offered clear and reasonable solutions to rectify identified issues should the property purchase progress. I will certainly use Dave’s service again in the future, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and reliable electrician.

They assessed the existing wiring, ensured it was safe, and completed the job to high standard. Excellent service at a fair price.💯👍🏽

So pleased to have found a reliable, trustworthy, efficient, friendly electrician. Dave and his son carried out my landlord electrical report in a professional manner. Would use again and happy to recommend.

Dave and his lads were brilliant. Carried out full home electrical inspection then later date installed 4 new outside lights and 2 new outside sockets. Very neat job and cleaned up as they as they worked. I was also wondering if I needed to upgrade the cable from the meter cupboard to my fuse box. Possibly ready for car charger in future. Dave advised this was a big job due to distance and routing the cable. Didn’t feel pressured to do any extra work and he came up with a simpler and much cheaper option to do at a later date. Already penciled him In to upgrade kitchen electrics when new kitchen is fitted. Highly recommend.

Dave and his team are fantastic and I highly recommend them. They have worked on 3 separate jobs for us so far as we slowly modernise our home. Dave is very informative about the job he is carrying out. The team arrive promptly and are clean and efficient.

Really nice helpful professional guy. Arrived on time, finished on time, nice tidy job. Dave and his team know what they are doing. Would definitely recommend DH Electrical.

Very quick and efficient service, highly recommend

We called Dave because we had a strange smell coming from our electrical panel, and he came the next day to see what the problem was. He told us that the price was £80, covering one hour of work. He arrived and spent the whole time talking on the phone, while he found the problem in 2 minutes with his current check device. We showed him two more issues in our house, and he gave us a new appointment for the following week. We waited for a week, and 5 minutes before the agreed time, he canceled the visit, saying he would come to fix our problem in 5 days. Again, we waited, and he didn't show up. Over the phone, he said he could come at 8:30 PM, which is frankly ridiculous and unprofessional. Keep in mind, when making arrangements with him, how unreliable and how easy money he earns for 2 minutes of work.

Dealing with Dave was seamless, we spoke on the phone, I described the job and he sent me a quote. We agreed a start date. Work was completed on the day agreed, although they were running a little late I was kept informed as to when they were due to arrive. They arrived a little later than scheduled but stayed to ensure work was completed on the agreed day. The work was completed to a high standard, there was no mess and they cleaned up after themselves. I would certainly recommend.

Great service and great quality of work!

Thank you so much for fitting my spotlights in my hallway and new socket behind my tv, amazing customer service from start to finish can’t recommend enough

Within 24 hours of messaging the issue was sorted which was great. Only downside was I was told one time, which worked with my day, then was told another time on the day which meant I had to jiggle around my day and then was told a 3rd time meaning on my only day off in the week I wasted 2-3 hours sat around waiting.

Perfect service. Job not quite what they expected but all sorted. Lovely fella. Would recommend

Excellent service. Delighted with super professional Lee who completed job quickly and tidily in a friendly and knowledgeable way. Would never use anybody else now and recommended to friends. Thank you!

Excellent friendly service, would definitely use again and happy to recommend

Fixed a bathroom cord switch. Professional, friendly and polite. Highly recommended.

I first used them when I was overseas and they responded brilliantly. They trusted me with payment and I trusted them with service. Since returning to the UK I have used them for an emergency situation where I had no down stair lights and they resolved the problem quickly and efficiently without overcharging or capitalising on my situation. They also did work in my bathroom and cleaned up the resulting dust and debris. I have no problem recommending them and will certainly use them in the future. Good tradesmen deserve to succeed.

Minor job moving a light switch. Very responsive to initial enquiry and electrician who attended was very professional and helpful. Job was completed quickly and without issue, with the electrician spotting a way to complete it with less intrusion to the wall than expected, making it neater and easier to patch.

Lee was punctual and was attentive carrying the work out on my house. Carried out the work to a high standard and left my house as he found it. Would use again for future electrical work.

Enquired about a replacement outdoor light and the job was agreed and completed all within a few hours! Really happy with the communication throughout. Lee turned up ahead of time. He was professional and did a great job. Definitely will use DH Electrical Services again and recommend.

DH Electrical Services responded very quickly to my initial request for a quote to remove a couple of unwanted electric sockets. I’m not one to write reviews, but the timely, courteous, and professional service provided by Dave and his team truly warranted. Dave responded within hours of my request for a bathroom extractor fan quote, providing me with options for a new fan with an install quote, and upon my agreement, arrived the next morning to sort the job. Dave will be top of my list to ring for future electrics work. Many thanks again!

Im very cautious when it comes to cowboy so-called 'tradesmen'. Its scary. But i need jobs doing and called Dave after reading an excellent review to ask for a quote to install 5 extra power sockets, 2 with USB. Dave came out the next day and gave a detailed, honest quote via email. A week later, the job was done in a day. The chasing, 5 new sockets fitted and a safety fuse. Clean, fast, holes filled with excellent communication and reliability. Next job already booked in! Thanks Dave

One of the most professional services I have ever used. I can absolutely recommend Dave and Lee for any electrical requirements you need. DH Electricals are an extremely experienced, knowledgeable and competitively priced business I have had a lot of electrical work done at my property including a new fuse board installation and garage rewire. I am delighted with all the installations and the service I have received. Thank you so much .....

I called Dave today and asked for an emergency call out as the electrics kept tripping in my rental property. He fit it into the end of their day, ran a diagnostic test and saved me 2 days of work and a ton of cash as quoted by British Gas. Tenant is happy and I’m relieved, shall definitely call if needed again.

Lads installed power sockets and installed tv/socket on a wall. Good price, quick and clean. Definitely recommend and would use again.

What can I say amazing guys great customer service and excellent workmanship . Thanks Dave top job.

Dave and Lee was absolutely amazing!! Could not recommend them enough!!! It all started with 1 phone call of me trying to find an emergency electrician as something kept tripping our switches. I found Dave off Google read his reviews and just knew I had to call him. I called him out of hours and he was more than happy to help. We spoke on the phone he was very polite and professional. We sorted the trip switch temporarily until they was available to come out. A couple of days later they came out and did a full inspection and found the problem in no time. He rewired and refitted our fuse board. Gave us a new one for the out house which was all wired and connected to out kitchen sockets! He fitted fire proof LED spotlight throughout the whole downstairs. Changed the wiring for a couple of switches that was dodgy. All in all these men worked very fast and efficiently. Affordable too. Could not think of a bad word to say about them, they even cleaned up after themselves too! Amazing work honestly. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dave and Lee. Will definitely be using their services should I need to in the future and recommending them to all my friends and family! Thanks again guys!

Dave and his colleague were brilliant from start to finish. He came to review the job, which was to install a bigger cable for the cooker and sockets, gave me a quote the next day and as soon as I agreed the quote, booked me in for the following week. On the day if the job they were professional, efficient and tidied up after themselves. They worked really hard in the crazy heat and the job was finished to an extremely high standard.
