88 Electrical Ltd

Alan has done 2 jobs for us now - both done very quickly, at short notice, to a high standard and at a good price! Thank you Alan! Highly recommended.

What an amazing service from start to finish I was caught up in a jam but with one phone call everything was sorted I needed an eicr and the prices I was been quoted was astronomical but 88 electrical came in the cheapest thanks 88

Great service and competitive price received from Alan for installing sockets for a new kitchen. Will definitely use Alan again.

Cannot recommend Alan enough as an electrician. He responds promptly, does excellent work and identifies broader issues which he offers to fix, and does it all at a fair cost. On top of that, he is incredibly friendly and a real pleasure to work which makes a real difference when doing renovations which can be quite stressful. Recommend him warmly!

Alan at 88 Electrical Ltd was fantastic. Great communication, reliable and very quick. I highly recommend 88 Electrical.

Alan has helped with a bunch of jobs for us including an outdoor light & socket, adding in sockets and down lights. Always great work!

Alan came to my apartment to carry out electrical works for an EICR. He was excellent, I will be using him again in the future.

Alan was very efficient and polite. Two jobs well done.

Alan was prompt and professional and he was quickly able to fix our bathroom light issue! Alan was also very nice and friendly and we will use him again if needed!

Had Alan pop over to upgrade the connection from an old fuse box to a new oven and put in new trip switches. Alan was reliable and personable and sourced the parts and performed the work in excellent time. A real gentleman.

Happy to recommend Alan. Great quality of work, efficient and responsive and always professional. Greg

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alan at 88 Electrical on multiple occasions, and each time the service has been exceptional. Recently, he installed a new extractor fan and updated my outdoor security lights. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard. Alan’s professionalism and attention to detail are impressive, and I highly recommend him for any electrical needs. His reliability and friendly approach make him a go-to choice for future projects. Thanks again for the great work!

Communicated well, came when he said he would and did the job tidily.

I can't recommend Alan enough. We originally booked him in for a full electrical survey on the house before calling him back in to do a full re-wire, including a fuse box replacement, moving ceiling lights and light switches, outdoor lights, among many many other things. He was so kind and friendly, and treated our home like it was his own. He made sure to check in with us for our preferences on even the smallest of details. We had a tight schedule for getting the work done, and he still went above and beyond in making sure the work was done to the highest standard. He left the site clean and tidy as well, which is saying a lot given how much dust and debris tend to come out in a rewire. He even referred us to a decorator who did such a great job at patching everything up like new. Alan's a true professional and I would not hesitate to book his services again. 5* all around!

Alan was fantastic. Reliable, friendly and got both of our jobs done quickly and without fuss. Would highly recommend.

Thanks to Alan at 88 Electrical for doing such a great job! He did a full electrical house survey, replaced our old fuse box, updated the outlets and light switches, and installed range of external security cameras. Super friendly, reliable, and really knows his stuff. Everything was done quickly and neatly, and he made sure to leave the place clean. Highly recommend if you need any electrical work done, proper professional work!

Alan installed a socket in the eves with just his gloves on. Superman!

We have requested Alan's services several times over the years. From bathroom fan installations to electricals for the whole apartment. It's always been a professional and high quality service and could not recommend him enough.

Alex from 88 Electrical is truly exceptional. He's the best electrician I've ever encountered. Alex is incredibly professional, kind, friendly, and remarkably efficient. He assisted me with various electrical tasks, from fixing the electricity network at my house to replacing bulbs and even tackling the complex job of replacing the power shower, which other plumbers and electricians declined. Alex demonstrates a strong work ethic and charges a fair price. I'm thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and approachability. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex from 88 Electrical Ltd to anyone needing electrical services in the future. Thank you, Alex!

Great service from Alan, very quick response times and left completing all work to a top standard and tided up after himself. Highly recommend

Professional service. Very competitively priced. Very honest, provided advice on works that were not needed where others had. Polite and clean Would definitely use this company again without hesitation

Alan was an excellent electrician: polite and competent. I highly recommend him.

Can’t recommend Alan enough. He did the wiring for our new extension and new outdoor lights and certificate. Super professional, great comms, really helpful the whole way through the project, happy to talk us through things on the phone while we were prepping for electrics. He is a neat and tidy worker and is clearly up to date on latest regulations/advised/best methods which was markedly different from others who quoted us. Fair pricing. We found him to be honest and reliable and just a really nice guy.

Very professional and competent work. Understood what we needed and carried the work out exactly and with no mess.

Alan is absolutely amazing! I can't recommend him enough. He went above and beyond, rewiring my entire house. He was so efficient and reliable throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with electrical work.

Top service. Previous electrician couldn’t solve - I was thinking there was no fix. Alan solved in 1hr. Easy to work with. Straightforward. Very much recommend.

Great work! Would definitely get 88 Electrical for future work

Have used 88 Electrical Ltd on 2 occasions. Both times he has acted very professionally, cleaned up after each job and always arrived within the times stated. Would highly recommend them.

Alan quickly responded to my request to investigate an electrical fault, quoting a reasonable rate. He arrived promptly, had a friendly but professional manner, clearly explained the issue and work required, which he did efficiently at a time to fit in with my availability. I would not hesitate to recommend Alan to friends and neighbours and will definitely contact him again if I require any future electrical work in my home.

Absolutely fantastic service, and a great addition to Eltham. Electrics work was done to a very high standard. Area was left clean and tidy. Very friendly and professional. Would 100% request 88 Electrical's services again, and would highly recommend!

He’s also a really nice guy, friendly and made sure he tidied up which is much appreciated. Thank you, Alan. I’ll be recommending you to my neighbours!

We've used 88 Electrical's services a number of times now, and Alan has never failed to disappoint. He's reliable, tidy, friendly, and gets the job done with minimal fuss. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in employing Alan's services again in the future.

One of the best in the business. Very honest and incredibly fair prices on work done. I will not go anywhere else now. Highly recommended!

Alan is amazing. He is both friendly and professional; chatting with me about anything and everything while he efficiently fixes any problem I throw at him! I will always recommend Alan to anyone!

Reliable and professional, did our ceiling lights in the loft and fan extractor. Works quickly and don’t mess about. Would 100% use him again.

Alan did a great job recently connecting up our new garden office with electrics and internet, plus a few other odd jobs around the house. Would happily recommend him to others.

Have used 88 electrical for years. Needed new lights fitted this summer and they did a perfect job as per usual. Work was clean and gave me a few options on different arrangements. Will continue to recommend and use in the future.

Alan is great. Clear communication, fair price and the work done was to a great standard. He’s a nice guy who takes pride in his work. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I don’t usually write recommendations for tradesman I use but Alan is an exception. He is the GOAT. His professionalism and reliability are unrivalled, and he consistently delivers exceptional results for fair prices. Whether it's a large project like rewiring your house or smaller tasks, Alan is my go-to electrician, and I trust him to handle all my electrical needs with expertise and precision.

Alan is the most reliable tradesman that I know and I always come back to him whenever I need electrical jobs done. He was efficient at finding the root cause of my issues. He helped to change my fusebox and rewire two new circuits. He is very knowledgable and completed the job to a high standard with safety as a top priority.

Incompetent electrician! Done the job in a hurry and not taking into account what the customer wants! No other electrician can work after him because they don't understand what he's done! Avoid at all costs! He uses customer service language, but he won't come to repair his mistakes! A complete waste of time and money

Alan was prompt, friendly and was able to help us get new lighting in our kitchen which we're really pleased with. A very professional job.

Brilliant 5⭐️ service. Very impressed

Fantastic service and all work done to a very high standard. We will be using 88 electrical again when needed.

88 Electrical installed some external lighting which needed some tricky wiring to complete. I was happy with the work so called them out again a few weeks later when I managed to damage an electric cable, all sorted. Alan was tidy and professional throughout.

Alan was careful, efficient and quick. The price was fair.

Alan's a great guy. Friendly, punctual and does a fantastic job

A fantastic experience today with Alan, called him at such short notice to hook up my cooker and he came at the time he said he would, completed the task and then spoke to me about what he had done after and helped understand my cooker more what next steps I needed to take. Alan will now be my go to for any electrical work and I will also be recommending him to all my friends and family. Such a lovely man, great service & great price. Thank you very much Alan!

Alan was great. Fixed my issue in now time and even thought me a thing or two about how this works :)

Found 88 Electrical online and very happy with the service. Alan helped me with advice and then sourced and installed a new carbon monoxide alarm. Alan is lovely to deal with and very knowledgeable.

Outstanding service. Alan has been instrumental to some of the renovations I've done to my flat - including upgrading the fusebox, changing the lighting fixtures, updating the socket covers, and installing new electric radiators. Alan is very professional, arrives on time, completes the work in an efficient and neat manner and his fees are very fair. Not to mention, he's a wonderful human being and great to connect with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great service and electrician. Thanks so much Alan!

I had a power cut a week ago, where I had to rely on another company that charged me a ridiculous price and left, saying it was all fixed. But guess what? Yesterday we had another power cut just around the corner before Christmas. Allan was very professional and efficient, providing outstanding service and advice at a reasonable price. He fixed the power cut and looked carefully to find the fault that was causing the problem. Thanks for your service Allan; you saved our Christmas!

First class service at a very fair price. Alan sorted out our kitchen lights problem in double quick time despite our first phone call to him coinciding with his wife being in hospital producing their second child! Good communication throughout, he asked sensible questions before coming to ensure that he had the necessary parts with him. Arrived on time and all fixed efficiently. Highly recommend and would use Alan again without hesitation.

Really professional, reliable and a good job done. Would highly recommend.

Alan is super responsive and professional. Gave advice on a cost effective solution and helped source materials...will definitely recommend and will reach out again if I need support again in the future.

Alan is brilliant and saved my family from loss of power entirely. The energy supplier (bulb) tried everything to dodge responsibility; and left my family with two young children high and dry for 8 hours without electricity. Luckily I found Alan in the end! I totally agree with all other reviewers about Alan and his workmanship, and feel assured to find help when electrical work is needed in future. A big thumbs up for Alan!

Alan removed my old oven and hob and installed the new ones. he was extremely professional and polite, arrived when he said would and kept me informed all the time. Alan spent time explaining how to operate the oven and hob, the kitchen was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Alan for his work and professionlism. Steve Warner, thank you Alan.

Alan came to upgrade the fusebox and inspect/repair the electric system in an old house. He was really hard working and wasted no time. He delivered very quality work and was really helpful and patient explaining everything to us. We will have no hesitation using 88 Electrical again.

The electrician was very polite, and explained the issue in detail. I am very pleased with the service. Thank you

They were very polite and professional with good communication. They did a fantastic job! Would recommend to anyone with no hesitation.

Alan was on time and polite, efficient and professional and even put up with our rather unruly dogs with great humour. He managed to install an awkward cluster pendant lamp high up in our very tall stairwell in a house were no job is ever straight forward. He even found a work around our uneven ceiling and had the new light fitted and working within the hour! He was very careful not to damage or mark my white walls with his ladder and left everything very clean (even asked if I wanted him to get rid of the packaging the new light came in). Great price, too, even though Alan came out on a Sunday (his day off!!). Very happy with Alan and will definitely be using him again. Highly recommend!!

Great experience all round. Alan gave me a full breakdown of the work needed and a start date of which he stuck to. He done exactly what was needed and is a pleasure to have in your house. Will definately be using Alan again for any future electrical work.

Alan is very good at his job, he installed our new hob nicely. He is also very good to talk to. Good service and good quality works.

Alan is an excellent electrician. He is very efficient and trustworthy person. I definitely recommend,

Alan is a consummate professional and a gentleman to boot. He began - at our request - by completing a thorough check of all lighting and electrical connections. He then discussed our options clearly giving a range of solutions which included cheaper options with pros and cons. We needed a lot of work done - and previous electricians had been rubbish. All work was done in a timely & tidy manner and to a high standard. Work included a new fuse box, inserting an earthing rod, replacing ceiling lights several rooms, installing garden lights & doorbell and making safe some wiring in the kitchen. Communication excellent throughout and price fair. Absolute 5star plus service - highly recommended.

Alan is a great electrician, he does highly quality work, ensuring each job is done correctly. I've used him a number of times for various electrical jobs throughout my place and all work is finished perfectly. Highly recommend.

I’m really impressed with Alan’s responsiveness and professionalism. He’s very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be using for all my future jobs too and would certainly recommend him.

Alan is excellent and now our go-to electrician! We are currently in the midst of a kitchen renovation project in which Alan has taken care of everything on the electrical side of things - socket relocation, upgrading lighting, wiring for new cooker etc. Alan is great to work with - punctual, tidy, excellent communication, advice and suggestions. Would highly recommend!

Alan is great - very responsive and always on time. Knowledgeable and gave me good advice. Friendly and Professional. High quality workmanship. He is my "go to" Electrician. Charges fair rates. Thank you Alan.

Great quality of work and very easy to deal with. Responded quickly and worked efficiently.

Lights was out and even with changing light bulbs did not work. Alan was on hand and provided a very reasonable price and top quality work by sorting out all the wirings and installed new lights. Will definitely use again.

Polite and helpful. We are very happy with Alan's work in our house.

I don't know of a better recommendation than to say I shall be using Alan again. Great job, thank you, Alan.

Alan was a pleasure to work with. Always friendly, professional and did a great job. I used him once and then ended up using him for more jobs as I knew I could trust him, that he would price the job fairly and leave the house nice and tidy before he left. Would definitely recommend his service

We are extremely happy with the job Alan has done for us. He was efficient, professional and well priced. Will definitely call him again if we need any electrical job done.

Have worked with Alan at 88 Electrical for a number of years. He's done various jobs and mine and my parents house. Really nice guy and very professional. Would definitely recommend.

Alan was recommended to me by a carpenter I used to make a beautiful bookcase in my flat - I couldn’t be happier with the work he has done. He’s installed lights on said bookcase, installed a ceiling light, stopped my oven from electrocuting me (!), added some dimmer switches and has completed various other electrical jobs. He’s very trustworthy, professional, punctual and communicative - and also a very nice and friendly person too !! I also wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends.

Excellent service and will definitely be using 88 Electrical again.

Alan is our go to electrician ! Warm, responsive and does a fantastic job. Would highly recommend !

We used Alan for first and second fix electrics for a side extension and new kitchen that we fitted in April 2021. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and recommend him to people that we know. He was responsive, arrived on time, gave great friendly advice and even offered to fit extra bits and come back to help us to install pendants that hadn’t arrived. We did have a lot of trades in a confined space for much of the time but Alan was easy to get along with and got on with everything.

Electrician took pride in his work and is very efficient. Has a lot of attention to detail and made sure everything is perfect. Also cleans up his mess before leaving, I have been recommending him to all my friends and definitely will be doing business again in the future.

Alan was very friendly and professional, will definitely work with him again in the future!

Very thorough EICR report peformed on the property. Detailed explaination of what upgrade options were available, depending on price and/or quality. Definitely would recommend

Fairly priced, responded at short notice and was able to fix the issue quickly! Would not hesitate to use Alan's services again.

I found Alan to be polite and professional, and he was quick to produce the EICR in a timely manner! Thank you for your help, Alan.

Fantastic service from start to finish, had a complete rewire done on my house, which had old wiring from the 1960s, Alan gave a fair price and the communication was second to none, always on time and just did what he said he was going to do, would definitely recommend!

I had an EICR and EIC completed on my house, it took many hours but everything was tested thoroughly, very detailed with affordable price.

Alan repaired all necessary work which was required following an unsatisfactory EICR inspection. His quote was competitive and this professionalism and quality of work was second to none. I highly recommend and will certainly be using his services in the future.

Fast, great communication, and good work. Easy to recommend for professional service.

Professional service from 88 Electrical! I had an EICR completed on my flat, it took a few hours but everything was tested thoroughly, no corners were cut. Alan will explain everything to you in detail if you have any questions. Would use services again.
