I needed an electrician to isolate my father’s stairlift. I was trawling Checkatrade and local electricians for help, but to no avail. I then see DMD Electrical’s van parked nearby as a paid a visit locally. I phone the number on the van and spoke to Darren. I explained my situation regarding the stairlift and the potential urgency of the removal as it belonged to my 95 year old father. Wow, the response was truly amazing. I was told that he (Darren) would divert one of his electricians to the address provided within the hour, before said electrician moved on to their next job. DMD connected up my garden room with an armoured cable and consumer unit and fitted it out with sockets and lights. Darren offered great advice, asked a lot of questions about my needs so that he could specify the right thing, was quick to respond to messages, and the work was done promptly and to a high standard and with certification to match. His team were very polite and considerate while working around my WFH needs and tidied up thoroughly after themselves. Darren is even going above and beyond to come back and help with an external light which I ordered myself and didn't arrive in time. I can't think what else you would want from an electrician.
