M R Carter Builders Ltd

Had an EICR from Mark prior to going through a property purchase. Mark was very knowledgeable and considerate when we had a call with him explaining the report in a way that's understandable for someone not trained in the trades and gave good examples and context to the issues identified. Very good and professional experience. Can recommend based on my experience so far

Phenomenal work, Josh and Lewis superstars. Thank you for your help!

Third time using this company. Josh and Lewis were great and they are very diligent and hard working. If you want very hardworking but also very nice people who will do the job to the end, hire this company for your job.

Mark’s electrician team (Lewis and Josh) were absolutely excellent from start to finish. They are professional, efficient, and genuinely kind people — a pleasure to have in the house. They replaced our consumer unit, installed new main earth bonding, thoroughly checked all sockets and connections, and fitted new lighting. Everything was done carefully and to a high standard, with clear explanations along the way so we felt completely reassured. The team was punctual, tidy, and very respectful of our home. It’s not always easy finding tradespeople you can fully trust, but Lewis and Josh are exactly that. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark’s team to anyone needing reliable and high-quality electrical work.

EICR is priced low to start, they then listed a lot of remedial work and quoted £1200+ for one day's work. I asked another electrician to do the EICR again, changed a few lights then simple sign off. so don't be fooled by the sales trap.
