Elliott’s work is always top notch. Having used him for a year or so, I needed a quick last minute fit on some new plug sockets for my new tv. He made the process from quote to finish as easy as possible. Will continue to use him!👏👏

We have been having an issue with a faulty bathroom extractor fan, which blew the lighting as they were connected. On the first visit, the electrician was able to diagnose an issue and get our lights back on, which was helpful. They also confirmed that there was no leak in our loft, saying it was dry up there. On the second visit, they replaced the extractor fan and reconfirmed no leak, though they did mention some dampness which they suspected was due to condensation from having no extractor. This was charged as a separate visit, but all in ~£400 was charged. They also mentioned when leaving to contact them if things weren’t working correctly, which was a little concerning but could have just been thoroughness. After a couple of days, problems did return as predicted and extractor stopped working. Contacted electrician and as it was Christmas, they would be away for a couple of weeks which was understandable. We waited. Confirmed the appointment the day before. Day of the appointment, they texted late in the afternoon to cancel. Rebooked for yet another week later. No source of ventilation in that room. Confirm the appointment again, this time the electrician mentions that they think there might be a leak causing the damage but still agrees to come to the appointment. Day of the appointment again, they message to say they don’t think they should come because they think there is a leak and it will continue to cause issues. At this point they have cancelled on the day twice and allowed us to wait weeks without ventilation but feel it’s appropriate to say that they always suspected a leak. With regards to follow-up questions about the wiring issues which cause a “ghost light” flickering problem, they stop replying. We have had the loft checked. No leak. No dampness. There is poorly fitted ductwork (no insulation and no sealed joints). The duct was also just resting over the top of the ceiling fan, rather than suitably secured, all of which has caused excess moisture to condense in ducting within the cold loft, and run back down onto the fan workings, breaking the new one. Unfortunately we are unable to interpret the wiring of the light and replacement extractor, which presumably, now it is full of water, is shorting somewhere, causing the light in the bathroom to remain on permanently (albeit too dim to see by). When called to ask about all of this, they are full of excuses why it’s not their fault and no apologies for the general unprofessionalism. It is clear that this company got themselves in over their heads and couldn’t simply apologise and give even a partial refund for their role in worsening the situation. Would recommend them not to take further jobs above their level of expertise.

Elliot and Darren were fantastic . Communication was great , they were both very professional and the quality of the work was brilliant. Some great solutions for a tricky job where carpets had to be removed , but you can’t tell at all after it was all put back together again . Would highly recommend , and I’ll be definitely using them again. Thanks gents .👍. 5 stars from me

Recently had Elliott come to fix a problem with a tripping fuse box. He was super friendly (& also very reasonably priced!), definitely recommend to anyone looking for an electrician! Will definitely be returning to them for any future electric related asks/problems that I have 😊

We used Elliott to install some out door lighting and power point. The work was excellent but what I liked best was the communications. Turned up on the agreed date and time.

As one of three freeholders of a residential property, we used Ell & Son to install the necessary heat & smoke alarms to be compliant with the new legal requirements. Elliott did all the hard work on his own, arrived on time, cleaned up after himself & took away any rubbish. A very polite & efficient young man, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him for any electrical work.

Elliott installed a car charger for me. Wasn’t going to be the easiest of jobs but he was brilliant. Done a fantastic job. Very clean and tidy. He is coming back to do a couple more jobs too 👍🏻

Elliott and his team did a brilliant job re-doing all of the old electrics throughout our house and adding new sockets, switches, lights and cat6 cabling for wireless access points (thanks to his great recommendation). Ell worked really hard to fit us in to meet timings for other works we had arranged as part of our renovation and was very accommodating of my additional requests along the way. He always made sure that everything was left clean & tidy, and we are so pleased with the result…a complete, well-needed upgrade! Would definitely recommend, thanks Ell!

I cannot recommend Elliott highly enough. He has been so responsive and gone above and beyond after we had a leak in the house. In such a stressful situation it was amazing to have someone who was so reliable, caring and trustworthy.

Elliot installed my car charger for me and done an amazing job of it, very knowledgeable about his work and demonstrated every inch of the app for me. Very neat work and very punctual. I could not recommend more honestly!!
