Pinotage Electrical Services Ltd is praised for prompt, professional electrical work, with customers highlighting clear communication, punctuality, efficient fault finding, safety checks and certification. Reviews also regularly mention courteous service, high-quality results and leaving the site clean and tidy, with repeat customers happy to use the team again. One recent review raises a serious concern about high labour charges and a lack of response when this was queried.
Fernando was quick to respond to all messages prior to the job, and on the day, he and his colleague arrived 20 minutes early, and were straight into the job, to fit a new outside air conditioning isolator on a new circuit. The connection had to go out the wall 8m high and make its way down, so quite a long way. The work was very neat inside and out, and I had our consumer unit certificate for the new circuit emailed on the same day. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend them.
Excellent service from start to finish. Connected my awning to the mains quickly and efficiently, with a very neat installation. Competitive pricing, turned up when promised, and got the job done without any fuss. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again for future electrical work.
Please be careful of this Electician overcharging. They offered an hourly rate for labour of £100. A fair hourly rate for an electrician is not more than £35 an hour - lawyers and specialist doctors charge £100 not tradesmen. They go around giving inflated quotations to people banking on the fact that people don’t know what is a fair labour cost - just ripping people off. When I raised this with them they didn’t respond.
Fernando helped me very quickly with a small electrical problem and was extremely kind and helpful. I found him through neighbour recommendations on our street where he enjoys an excellent reputation.
Fernando and Pinotage Electrical Services delivered an exceptional service from start to finish. He expertly re-routed the main supply, upgraded the consumer unit, and ran new cabling to the garden for my new garden studio — all completed neatly, safely, and on schedule. His knowledge and attention to detail were evident throughout, giving complete confidence in the quality of his work. Highly professional, efficient, punctual and clearly an expert in his field — I’d recommend Fernando without hesitation.
Great efficient and clean electricians
We used SWES services for the first time today and we are very happy with their prompt service, communication, courteous nature, and more importantly to do the job to a high standard. We will certainly be using Fernando and his team again for future electrical works.
Fernando was well recommended to us. We have scheduled him to come and help us by doing some major work in our new home when we moved in. He was very organised and punctual. The entire job was very well done and to me, most important, everything extremely clean. I truly recommend him for those who care for the quality of the service.
Communication was good and he arrived on time. An excellent job. Highly recommended.
I’ve used South West Electrical and I’m so pleased for the work they have done. Professional and efficiency. I’ll use again in the future.
Overall I like the quality of the full service South West Electrical from the first call to get the quote to entire great service provided ending the site tidy.
Very good electrician, professional and helpful. High recommended
Very competent, fast working and polite.
I used SW Electrical to carry our safety checks and certification of the electrics at my 3 storey house which has had various mods over the last few years, most recently including replacement of the consumer unit. Really pleased with their service. Arrived on time, ran the tests on the circuitry, alerted me to a couple of issues requiring remedial action, and then got the job done with no fuss. They even cleaned up on completion !! No hesitation in recommending them
I have used SW Electrical several times and I have always been very happy with their work, Fernando has always responded quickly and effectively; I would definitely recommend them.
Super polite and efficient service from Fernando, will use again.
I was recommended SW Electrical from a friend and was blown away at the great service received and amazing value for money! We had a short on one of the circuits (the fault of an original bad installation) - and Fernando and his team persevered and found the issue and solved it. They even cleaned up all the mess leaving the house immaculate. They were very cost effective as well - especially versus someone like Pimlico Plumbers (who have really gouged me in the past). We have SW Electrical coming back shortly to rectify a few more issues and install some much needed outdoor lighting and have recommended to friends.
