M.Ashworth Electrical Ltd

I had a great experience working with this electrician. Communication was clear and consistent from start to finish, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was very thorough in his work, took the time to explain what was being done, and ensured everything was completed properly and safely. Pricing was reasonable and fair for the quality of work provided. I will definitely use his services again and would highly recommend him to others looking for a reliable electrician.

Matt has installed electrics for us in a stable conversation (with hot tub) and kitchen extension.Designing from scratch, he’s been great at helping us to consider all elements from the fire detection, energy efficiency and the design of lighting and sockets etc! He’s really polite and respectful and has always left everything just as we would hope. We are delighted with our lighting inside and out!!

Matthew worked quickly and professionally completing a full re-wire of downstairs. He was extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Matthew went above and beyond ensuring the electrics were finally safe in my home for my 2 little children. Highly recommend.

Top guy!, I had my living room and kitchen knocked through so all new electrics needed. Matt was reliable which is impossible to find with alot of tradesman, turned up to give me quote when he said he would, n job was finished when he said it would be! Well Recommended and will defo be giving him a call if I need any further work!

Had my consumer unit replaced by Matt, plus an EICR and some lovely ambient lights put up around the house, and I’m absolutely buzzing with how it all turned out. Matt was sound from start to finish—easy to chat to, explained everything, and just cracked on with the job. The new lights look amazing at night and have proper levelled up the outside of the house. Everything was done neatly and with loads of care. Honestly, can’t recommend Matt enough. Top bloke and top-quality work.

M. Ashworth Electrical recently completed a full rewire of my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Matt was professional, reliable, and extremely thorough in his work. He explained everything clearly, kept disruption to a minimum, and made sure I always knew what was happening at each stage of the project. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the house feels safer and far more modern now. Matt also went above and beyond to tidy up each day, which made a big difference during a large job like this. I highly recommend Matt to anyone needing electrical work—dependable, skilled, and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely use him again.

Extremely friendly and helpful! Sorted any issues out that needed doing, highly recommend

Very pleased. He is now in my address list and that of my neighbours ! Was polite and fixed the problem. Highly recommend.

Matt has done numerous jobs at my place over the years and to an excellent standard. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone (and already have!)

I recently had Matt over to do some work, including gas bonding and replacing our bathroom light with IP-rated spotlights. From start to finish, Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was incredibly professional and friendly, taking the time to explain everything he was doing step-by-step. He even made sure to ask about my preferences for the positioning and brightness of the lights, which made the whole experience feel personalized and thoughtful. What really stood out was how patient he was with all my questions—no matter how basic they were. Once he’d finished, he made sure everything was tidy and left the work area spotless. I couldn’t be happier with the results, and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again for any future work we might need. I’d definitely recommend Matt to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable electrician. Thank you, Matt!

Matt was so helpful and friendly, he did all our electrics while we were refurbishing our home. Would highly recommend to anyone! New lighting, fuse box, sockets etc throughout

Matt did the electrics and Internet cables for our new offices (garage conversion). He explained what he was going to do and why, keeping us informed throughout the work. He also very kindly replaced a faulty socket for me in my kitchen. Matt was reliable, polite and hardworking. I would happily have him back to do any further electrical work I need.
