MAP Electrical

A very friendly couple who did an excellent job.

I cannot recommend MAP Electrical highly enough. From the initial quote to the final completion, the communication was superb. The electricians arrived on time, when delayed it was always communicated ahead of time, were incredibly polite and the quality of work was first-class. They solved a complex issue and the pricing was very fair. A feat to find this level of skill, professionalism and customer service these days. Great team, thank you. 5 stars!

Had MAP Electrical install some new lights around my house and some other small jobs. They provided a friendly, reliable service while respecting my home and keeping things tidy. Highly recommend them.

Amrik and the team were really helpful, very responsive and gave great advice, did the job really quick, definitely recommend

Found MAP on Checkatrade - they are 10/10 would definitely use again. They fitted my house with new power sockets, lights, and Ethernet, Amrik and his team were great, very helpful and clearly explained absolutely everything, and their pricing is very very good as well, I already have them booked in for more jobs. Amrik stayed till 8:30pm to finish the job as it took him longer than anticipated due to some challenges - I really appreciate all the work thanks very much!

Amrik and his team were great, got the jobs done super quick and top quality work, and were lovely lads. Will be using them again in the future for sure.

Their work is immaculate, they are flexible and most of all very professional and efficient! I recommand them all the way.

Used a handful of times now. Always polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Quick to respond to queries. Highly recommend.

Amrik and his team were brilliant! Great communication from the start. Really clear in pricing and on the day they showed promptly and did an excellent work. They were also really lovely. I will definitely recommend MAP Electrical.

Engaged with MAP in connection via my employer as we had to get an EICR report and remove trunking from a commercial property we were exiting. Diligent and polite company, did a great job, very happy..👍

Really lovely team. Highly recommend MAP electrical and Amrik for their services. Very respectful of your property, clean any mess they make, get the job done to a high standard a prices are very competitive. Many thanks again for your work today. Very impressed by the standard and speed of the work carried out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great value and excellent work carried out. The engineers were extremely polite and left everything very near. Top communication throughout too.

Second time I’ve used Map and both times are fantastic - supportive and helpful diagnosing and triaging issues or work, top notch customer skills, and high quality work. Photos before and after, and always happy to explain what you may need to know for safety or next steps down the line.

Excellent work, as always. The job was done to a high standard and the team were friendly. Everything was done quickly and efficiently and the price very reasonable.

Completed a complete review of the electricals in our new house. Explained every test and find as they went along. Great communication and value for money.

Amrik again massively helped in repairing a socket. All round top guy. Very friendly, knowledge and fair. Not many people that operate like him anymore. Used him many times before and will continue to do so. Thanks again Amrik.

Absolutely delighted with the service provided by Amrik! He was incredibly efficient in identifying and fixing a fault in my ceiling lighting, quickly diagnosing the issue and resolving it with professionalism. From start to finish, Amrik was courteous, well-mannered, and polite—an absolute pleasure to have in my home. He was also impressively clean and tidy, making sure everything was left spotless once the job was done. It’s rare to find someone so thorough and respectful in their work. Highly recommended, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him again for any future electrical work!

This is the third time I've used Map Electrical, and once again they did not disappoint. Polite, hard working, and super clear and transparent about what they are doing and why. I will be using them again for any and all electric works needed throughout my home renovation.

Friendly, professional and prompt service

I’ve worked with Amrik on a few occasions now and have never been disappointed. Incredibly professional, never cuts corners (does the opposite in fact) and are generally easy to book in for a job. Will be going back to them for future work for sure.

Fabulous service ,texted before they arrived Did not charge for the full hour as here for only 20 mins .Problem solved thank you ,would definitely use again.Sent of behalf of my brother Mr Meredith who is well pleased 👍

MAP Electrical is fantastic! They’re incredibly reliable, always quick to respond to my requests in a polite and friendly way. Their work is consistently professional, and Amrik (the electrician) goes out of his way to explain each step of the process. They’re approachable, their prices are very reasonable, and they always leave the place spotless, cleaning up any mess from the job. I wholeheartedly recommend them every time. The best part is that working with MAP Electrical feels like calling a friend. If everyone were like Amrik and Saira, the world would truly be a better place. Thank you both—you're amazing!

Really good communication, fair price and the electrician who came to do our job was friendly and efficient.

Thank you for the brilliant work! It was so lovely to have a tradesman provide so much background information and be so genuinely friendly and polite! Amrik completed the job to a high standard, cleaned up any mess and really provided some giggles! There was no pressure to provide payment immediately or be pushed into any other services but he still took the time to answer my questions about other future jobs. Initial communication was great and Amrik gave me a call 30mins before his arrival so really have no complaints! Will definitely use again :)

Great service received. Friendly, helpful and a good price. I definitely recommend MAP; wish I'd found them years ago.

We had heaters, an electric mirror cabinet and a new fuse box installed over three days. The jobs were all done to an exceptionally high standard, and everything was comprehensively explained throughout the entire process. The communication and service we received were outstanding, and all for a good price. We will be returning to Map Electrical for any future work and have no hesitation recommending them to others.

This is the third time we have used MAP electrical. Had a few light fixtures changed/installed. Did a fantastic job like always!

The engineer from MAP was friendly, professional and did a great job. Also, it was very easy to arrange the job using WhatsApp and the customer service was great. I wouldn’t hesite to use them again.

Completed a variety of jobs around my flat. Explained everything very clearly, and very competitive on price. Highly reccomended

MAP electrical installed our infrared heaters and did an electrical survey for a property my father in law is buying. They are professional, thorough and prompt in their communication. They worked extra to ensure the work was completed on time as promised. We were so delighted with them.

Really great electricians - timely, good price, they’ve done everything in my flat renovation (recessed lights, appliance hookup, heaters, etc.) lovely to work with

Very helpful and diligent

I've used MAP twice now in the last couple of weeks and really recommend. Very friendy, super knowledgeable and patient especially for someone clueless like me. Tidies up and communicates regularly. Really recommend.

Map electrical was contracted fir a rewire of a property. Excellent service, worked well with all other trades. Would highly recommend

Jimmy is a great guy who has a professional and friendly approach to work and people. His work is clean and always up to an excellent standard. Very well recommended.

Amrik kept me informed and updated of his work throughout the entire multi-day job I had for him. Always ensuring I understood why he was wanting to do things the way he was, and making sure it was done to a high and safe standard. He was very professional and a delight to interact with whenever I did. I'll be returning to him for any needed work in the future

Great job from Amrik. We needed a new light fitting/cabling from scratch on an empty wall. Meant some really hardcore drilling and some brute strength to get key cable from one side of hall to another. Our expectation was a bit of bomb site and our period feature coving to be a bit decimated in parts, and likely floor boarding pulled up. But thanks to Amrik’s careful skill and complete respect for the buildings age and features, the damage (easily rectified by plasterer) was minimal and the plan b of floorboards upheaval was avoided . It’s hard to find someone with both the talent to do the job and respect for the home owners/property - so we’ve lucked out finding Amrik (also a joy to have around and communicates v well in advance), so heartily recommend him. Cheers!

Heartily recommond MAP Electrical. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for many years and after speaking to a few other places for quotes, I am happy I went with MAP. All the comms was done via Whatsapp, which works for me, the admins were happy to answer my many questions and explained everything in detail and they were available well into the evening, even on a bank holiday. The engineer, Amrik, was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Would definitely contact them next time I need work doing.

Great service and price for electrical work. Flexible, friendly and keen to work with clients on the best solution to their needs.

Couldn't recommend MAP electrical more. Fantastic, thorough and friendly service!

Amrik did a great job as always. Very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. We had some sockets moved and some added.

Saira and Amrik were and absolute joy to work with from the off. Starting with super professional and friendly contact to establish what we needed, the lines of communication were brilliant throughout the process. We had multiple jobs (kitchen cabinet lights, an LED bathroom mirror, and two new sockets) that needed completing and Amrik did a brilliant job on all of them, always explaining to us what he was doing and why. He was super efficient and tidy and generally just a lovely energy to have in the house. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Massive thanks MAP electrical.

Friendly and polite - completed the work efficiently and to a great standard. Thanks so much!

Nice people, Genuine and reliable did the job perfect. Excellent work, will be using them again.. Thankyou.

Had them in to work on installing some new sockets and lights, really professional and very thorough with safety too. Would recommend

Saira's communication was great and kept in regular contact checking everything was done to satisfaction. Amrick explained everything through the different jobs and was meticulous making sure everything was done to meet expectations. Works all carried out to high quality and overall excellent service.

Amrik was fantastic and extremely professional. He took pride in his work and enjoyed it. We would certainly recommend him, if you want a hassel free, knowledgeable electrical installation professional. He upgraded our consumer unit and did a thorough job completing it in 3 days including testing and remedial work. The process from the start was spotless. He visited the property for a quote. As we lived away from the property he called us and explained the work needed. He was extremely patient and discussed with us our requirements and the best way to proceed. He provided a competitive quote with couple of options to ensure the that the work was broken down and within budget without compromising the safety for the property. We really appreciated his professional and honest attitude. Saira too, was very responsive and kept us informed every stage of the process. Once we paid the deposit, she ordered the parts required ahead of time and ensured that the work can be carried out seamlesly on the day. The remedial work was discussed in detail and fixed within the period if 3 days. Amrik, chose quality over speed for completing the work successfully. We are waiting for the building control notification, EICR certificate and another document, given our experience with the team so far, we are sure that this will be completed ASAP. Thank you Amrik and Saira, for your professional and problem solving attitude. Wishing you all the best. Kind regards, happy customers.

I had a visit from MAP to repair some lights that needed an electrician to fix. Had great communication from Saira in prep for the visit (meaning there was no risk of the dreaded "I don't have that part in the van, we'll order it in" conversation), and then excellent service from Amrik the engineer. Really good quality work and simple explanations of everything that was done. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again!

Really easy to talk to and set up an appointment Amrik and Saira were great to work with. Amrik tidies up after himself and also does a clean job, he put in a garden power point (including switch for turning off inside) and a couple of power points in for me. It is so easy to talk through what you want adding we did go through a discussion about things a while ago, and he was also able to offer up good alternatives and use his electrical suppliers to get good deals. I can't really say just how good it is to work with someone reliable.

Great service. Easy to contact and get back to you quickly. Did a great job for us and the engineer who came round was a top bloke!

Found and fixed a wiring fault for us very promptly. Super helpful and friendly, highly recommended!

Fabulous, prompt and friendly service. As a woman living alone I was completely comfortable with them in my house. Went above and beyond. I will use them again and would highly recommend them

Great job replacing a pendant light, friendly and professional engineer- will definitely use again in the future.

I highly recommend Amrik and his team at MAP! I had a number of electrical issues that needing correcting (faulty switches/socket, exterior sockets and lights that needed to be replaced) and was initially very wary about getting a quote (because I had bad experiences with 2 other private electricians -they left me with sparking sockets and switches that buzzed). However, MAP were fantastic! I spoke to Saira and explained what I needed, she gave me useful information about some of the fittings, issued my quote and booked me in with no messing around. Very professional. Amrik, the electrician, was fantastic and I will definitely contact him for any future work. He was very friendly and polite. He was competent and professional and resolved all the items on my list, no excuses or nonsense and very knowledgeable. He was courteous of my home and came prepared with shoe covers and sheets to cover the floor so that he would minimise the mess. After all of the bad experiences that I have had I cannot explain how happy I am with the work that Amrik has done. Thank you to both of you!

I contacted Map electrical about a possible issue with my oven. Amrik was thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing in great detail in layman's terms. He also discovered and fixed a separate issue with my earth wiring at no extra cost. I would definitely contact them again in the future!

One of my friends recommended Amrik to me. Communication with MAP has been super easy, Saira got back to me straight away and organised an appointment. She took into account when the parts would arrive and when I would be able to be at home. She recommended some parts needed to fix the issues in my flat and gave me the option to buy them or ask then to supply it. On the day of the appointment Amrik was amazing. He fixed all issues across the flat. Not only a lovely guy, he is also very professional, explained all the processes he was carrying out and fixed a plug socket, fitted new lights and fitted a new bathroom fan to an excellent standard. I cannot recommend him enough.

Great service. I got in touch with MAP with an issue I had with a light in the hallway, they advised on fixing the fault and gave a very reasonable quote. They carried out the work promptly, were friendly, tidy and professional. Am very happy with the job and if I need any electrical services in the future I will be using MAP again, would recommend!

Amrik helped us out at short notice with work on our kitchen, and all work was carried out to an excellent quality and to suit our timescale. We’ll definitely use Amrik in the future

Excellent service from my initial enquiry to completing the job. Replaced my ancient fusebox, and renewed bathroom lights and extractor fan. Explained everything that needed to be done and stuck to quoted prices. Engineer was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Map Electrical.

Cannot recommend Amrik enough!! A wonderful, highly competent electrician and an all round lovely chap too! Amrik recently spent 3 days at our newly bought property fitting various light fittings, an electric shower as well as sorting out our main board to ensure it was all safe. He explained everything that he was doing, and priced everything fairly - giving options in terms of prices when it came to the spotlights. It is clear that Amrik really cares about his customers and the work that he does - this is reflected in the quality of service delivered. Thank you so much!!

Needed a job done quickly, rang on Sunday and managed to get fit in on Monday, amazing service, so friendly, job well done. Would 100% recommend

Map Electrical were very good. Work was done very well with special care for safety, legality, and lots of effort made to find out exactly what the customer wanted and therefore needed. Thanks

Amrik is very friendly, punctual and efficient. It’s the second time we’ve used his services and will again in the future.

Amric is one of the most genuine and polite people I have met. They were friendly, professional and clearly explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. I am genuinely grateful for the high level of service that Amric offered from start to finish. If there were more than 5 stars, I would happily give them, can't recommend more highly. Thank you ever so much again for everything you’ve done!

I highly recommend you use MAP Electrical if you are looking for a reliable and supportive electrician.

Amrik did a good job installing our light fittings, very happy with his service! Had a few questions about future work and he gave honest and helpful advice and we are definitely going to contact him for those jobs in the next few months

Amrik arrived on time. He did what we asked him & more. He explained what he was doing & was very clean tidying as he went along. I would definitely contact this company again for small electrical jobs.

Used Amrik a couple of times now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Gives good advice, is reliable and responsive and leaves everything nice and tidy. Quality of the work is brilliant.

Amrik was very professional and resolved the issue in my property straight away. Thank you for the great service.

Very professional and knowledgeable electrician, not only provided quality service but also provided very valuable advice and information. I would very highly recommend MAP Electrical.

Amrik is very accommodating and goes out of his way to ensure you're happy with his work. He even charged less than he said he was going to as he did the job quicker than expected. Great service!

Very professional and friendly service.

I called Amrik on Saturday as my in laws lighting had gone out. He pretty much advised me of what to do over the phone and I fixed it. Unbelievably generous with his time and expertise and I know who I'm calling immediately, should I encounter more serious electrical issues . Cannot recommend enough

Excellent work and responsive

Great service, on time, polite, cleanly. Never seen a fuse box look so organised. 5 star will use again, top bloke.

I am really happy with the service I received, and the job was done expertly, I will be using this service again

Amrik went out of his way to fit me into his schedule and everything was sorted really quickly. He was very friendly and professional - would definitely recommend and I will be using him next time I have an electrical issue.

Amrik is highly competent, professional, honest and friendly. His prices are competitive, but I'd be happy to pay more than average because you get such a great service. I trusted him from the outset and was never let down. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Really excellent work. Amrik took time to ensure that the job was done properly. Installed two hard-wired smoke alarms into existing wiring. Also gave good advice on a couple of other electrical issues. Knowledgeable, friendly and arrived on time.

Amrik came and installed a switch in our shed last week. He did a great job and took time in making sure the cabling was hidden, he used better quality materials just to make sure it looked aesthetically pleasing, so really appreciated that. Lovely guy as well, would definitely use again

Americk was great offered consultation and installation. Was professional and prompt to deal with. Will be using again soon

Amrik was very responsive and helpful in arranging the work, and then the work was done to a high standard and in a friendly manner and at a good price. I would definitely recommend MAP Electrical.

I spoke to MAP electrical over the phone and they were extremely good and professional. They diagnosed and fixed my issue entirely over the phone and didn't even charge me for it. Would highly recommend.

Job was completed perfectly. It was an emergency repair, he managed to do it on the day. Arrived on time, really friendly, good value and price as quoted. Will definitely call for all future jobs.

Amrik was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. He was super helpful, prompt, and tidy and I would both highly recommend him and use him again.

Amrik is simply the best electrician out there. Look no further.

Amrik provided an excellent service, is very knowledgeable and very tidy. I will use him again

MAP came and fixed some bad wiring for me at relatively short notice. The engineer Amrik was polite, professional and did high quality work. I highly recommend MAP for any works you need doing.

Excellent work by MAP! This was quite a difficult troubleshoot on some very old wiring. Amrik came out promptly and had to go into the very tight sub floor to investigate the problem. Very Knowledgeable and Hard worker and extremely polite with it. Kept me informed all the way. Will definitely use him again.

Amrik was really great when he came to look at my earth reading and how my oven had been Installed. He took the time to explain everything to me, so it gave me a good idea of what the issue was and what he had to do to fix it. Also gave me some great advice on how I could replace my storage heaters. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a electrician.

Amrik is an all round great guy. He's incredibly professional and trustworthy, works hard, is reliable and wants to do the best job possible. I'd never employed a tradesperson before so was a little nervous about the process but from start to finish he was consultative, asking questions to make sure he delivered the work to my spec and even returned a few days later, taking time out of his own schedule, to fit a defective switch I'd bought from another source. More, I have 12 foot ceilings so this job wasn't easy but Amrik didn't shy away. Call Amrik, you won't be sorry.

Great job, rang in the eve and he came first thing the following morn! Quality work, friendly and professional and fairly priced, would definately call again and recommend!

Quick and friendly service. Would definitely recommend

Amrik was very courteous and knowledgeable, and provided us with a thorough explanation of what he planned on doing, with the potential problems he might find. A high standard installation was completed for all components and fittings.

Absolutely excellent guy. Quoted more than others but was the only electrician I could have a proper conversation with when booking. So was happy to book him and glad I did. Excellent job and just chatted to him the whole time he was here. Get him booked

Amrik is THE example of professionalism, authenticity and kindness. A simple installation and wiring job done quickly and with all the required testing completed. Saved the number in my contacts and will be recommending him to anyone that asks about a good reliable spark.

I used Amrik for some work we required to our house alarm. Amrik talked me through what was required and gave me different solutions so that we could make an informed decision. The price quoted was extremely fair and competitive. In addition the work was completed very quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend Amrik / Map Electrical for any household electrical work required. Many Thanks

If you have an electical problem, call Amrik. I can't recommend him enough. He did some emergency work for us when our fuse board went bang. We are now arranging further work with him. Edited to add - he's replaced our fuseboard and did an electrical check. Very pleased with the work.

Amrik was brilliant from start to finish. Even during the initial meeting for a quote he was keen for us to know what it was he was going to do and why he needed to do it. The job ended up being a lot more complicated than we had first thought but Amrik was happy to put in the extra time and effort to make sure he left us with the best possible finish for the job. He was polite and friendly throughout and we'll definitely be having him back in the future for more work. Outstanding tradesman.

Great electrician affordable prices and quality work

MAP Electrical fitted a five foot LED Batten light in my garage. The light and wiring is a superb upgrade from the previous substandard work of another electrician a few years earlier. I have the peace of mind that the work completed by Amrik is done to the very highest standards using the best equipment available. He has completed several electrical wiring jobs in my house over the last year and I have always been 100% happy with the service provided. I would definitely recommend you choose MAP Electrical.

We always use MAP Electrical, recently we had some work done for our new extension. The process was great, we went through all the options. These guys are polite, friendly and considerate. The work is always to a high standard. Great company, thanks guys.
