Plug Electrical Services

Amazing experience!! Ahmed helped put up light fittings and was professional, knowledgeable, patient and a generally friendly electrician! He did a fab job and was reasonably priced too. Always nerve wracking contacting new tradesmen but honestly would recommend him to anyone and so glad we used him! Thank you Ahmed!

Ahmed came to install 2 chandeliers, one which was above a void 1st floor above a staircase. Ahmed worked around the difficult logistical challenges and managed to complete a very difficult job for a reasonable price. He was with us for 1/2 day putting up 2 complex and heavy light fittings. Brilliant service and I would use Ahmed again.

Quick, efficient work. Great communication. Good value. Friendly, polite workers. Will use again.

Very professional. Diagnosed the issue with the heater very quickly and was able to install the new heater quickly.

Very professional, efficient and trustworthy. Installed our wall heater and very happy with the service

Ahmed was great, very neat work and really friendly. Would definitely come back in future!

punctual, pro, friendly 👍🏼

I was recommended this electrician by a friend. After reading all the 5 star reviews too, I decided to contact him and videos of the electrical issues I was experiencing and needing a electrical safety certificate too. He eventually got back to a few days later with excuses of being ill and he will get in touch. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and contacted him again a few days later, again he eventually got in touch and said he's having staffing issues and will give me a quote by Wednesday.....the last contact was 27th October and he's still not contacted me back and provided a quote. Hence 1 star. This isn't a fake review either. This is someone who wanted to give the job to a local business rather a national business. So if you want to be messed around this business is perfect 👌

Ahmed was absolutely great. Came out for an emergency call on a Sunday and explained the issue to us thoroughly. Would recommend!

Thank you for the help in resolving our electrical issue on the phone, you saved a fridge full of goods!

Highly recommended. Emergency call out, arrived within an hour. Very helpful and soon sorted out the problem *****

I contacted Plug Electrical Services and spoke to Ahmed, who asked me to send a little video pointing out the various little jobs I needed doing around the house and garden. Installing 2 external sockets, replacing a broken socket and a couple of light switches, fixing another socket and installing an extractor fan in the bathroom. He provided me with a very reasonable written quote the next day. Within 2 weeks he was round doing the work. He was really thorough but very efficient and just got on with the tasks on the list until they were all completed without any fuss or problems. I was really happy with his work and his prompt communication from the initial contact to completion of the job. Thanks Ahmed, will definitely be in touch for future work and will fully recommend you to anyone in need of a quality electrician.

I had a couple of new sockets installed as well as some tweaks to the electrics. The quality of work was excellent and really efficient- would recommend to anyone in the south Manchester area!

Have used Plug for a few bits of work done now, from small cosmetic tweaks to larger checks and a fuseboard replacement. Been really happy with the quality of all, the price, and the friendliness of those doing the work. They’ve been happy to answer questions, explain things for us, and have had no complaints going the extra mile when needed. Will definitely use them again.

Ahmed responded quickly, helped sort out the problem over the phone and came round two days later to check our circuits. He was punctual and professional and explained things clearly. Would recommend him!

Ahmed did an excellent job of sorting out our shower . Will be using you again in the future on any electrical problems

Sorted the problem and informed me of any information I may need to know in future. Highly recommend to anyone

Ahmed has been amazing from the minute he came to our house on an emergency call out a week ago, the fuse had completely gone and we had no electricity atall, previous electricians couldn’t seem to identify the problem when the fuse kept tripping intermittently, Ahmed was able to identify the problem and did a temporary fix for us until he could return today to complete the work, it was a complex job but he has fixed it for us and he’s done the job perfectly, he tidied up afterwards and even hoovered up any dust, he was here for hours working really hard, such a kind, friendly, knowledgable man who has kept us informed of all the work he has done, thank you so much Ahmed we will highly recommend you to anyone, keep up the good work, 10/10 from us!!

Ahmed was efficient, reliable and tidy. First brought him in to fit spotlights ahead of a new kitchen install and brought him back in on three other occasions. His prices were reasonable and itemised, he arrived on time and left the place cleaner than when he arrived even when working in what felt like a building site. Was also able to trust him with a key and he sent videos of completed work to make sure I was satisfied. Would definitely hire again.

These guys saved my day! Working from home can be hard, but when you have no power... gets even tougher. Kids were complaining as I had no TV and neither could I charge their iPads. Anyway, they are local so I thought I'd give them a call, was quick fix... but they got me up and running again and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg!

Really nice guy, had an issue with my CCTV and he sorted it with no issue. He was also very easy to talk to 😀 Ahmed is a credit to the plug, you are very lucky!

I called this company for an emergency fitting late at night, as some of the plugs and switches in my home seemed to be giving me a shock even when switched off! The gentleman arrived within 30 mins despite the time, and diagnosed the problem straight away. The previous electrician had used incorrect fuses and left some earth wires exposed. The gentleman rewired the electrics and checked every other plug and switch in our home to ensure they worked correctly. Happy with the professional service and this chap’s friendly attitude. Definitely recommend. Many thanks.

Needed my security system installed. They were very professional, responsive, but the best thing was how competitive their price was. I shopped around quite a bit before deciding, since the install they guys have completed a few bits other my house.

Would definitely use again! He was prompt to the job, and, now I can charge my car from my home! Reasonably priced, and, had great knowledge of the job giving different options to suit my needs!
