Glynn came to change the sockets in my house and to add new ones. He explained how he would approach the task and worked quickly. He even arranged for an excellent plaster to come. Needed an electrician to fit a new 32amp isolator switch so we could switch from a gas hob to electric hob. Glynn was very professional and punctual in coming round to survey the job and was very thorough in making lots of calculations as to the power outage our system could take. He arrived promptly on the day/time arranged and fitted the electric hob for us, added the isolated switch and upgraded the thickness of the wiring we had in place. The job ended up a lot more involved than first thought as the ingress for the existing gas hob needed to be trimmed down quite a lot, but this was no problem to Glynn who was able to make the necessary alterations to make everything fit. Punctual, pleasant, professional and hard working and clean and tidy. First time using his services but wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for any electrical services and I would highly recommend him

Had an Isolation switch installed and shower box replaced, Super friendly and professional, definitely knows what hes doing. Booking a time in for the job was easy and straightforward as he was always accomodating. Always charges fair price and gets the job done superbly, highly recommend! He installed a bathroom light fitting and a video doorbell and the work was carried out to a very good standard each time. Glynn also told me that if I find the bathroom light to be too bright or too dim that he will come round and adjust the brightness for me for free.

GFS electrical services replaced the extractor fan above our gas hob. He advised about 5 different local suppliers from which I could obtain a new unit and gave a reasonable price for carrying out the work. Once I had the new item in hand he arranged to attend the next day at 1300 and arrived about 1240. He worked away quietly and completed by about 1730. I have a couple more jobs I plan to involve him in during the next year.

I had a light fitting that had stopped working fixed. It wasn’t a quick fix and Glynn needed to come back the next day. He didn’t charge me for the first visit. Glynn told us that he would have to install a whole new ring for the lights upstairs and he gave us a very reasonable quote He carried out the work in the day and it was very thorough explaining what he needed to do. We needed a faulty pull switch light fitting in our bathroom fixing and had no idea who to contact so checked out our local free paper. Glynn responded very quickly with a quote we felt was fair. Glyn, Changed our single light fitting to 8 down-lighters and a dimmer switch on all of the lights Also changed an old fuse box feeding our workshop for a new RCD protected box. Also provided 2 16A spurs with a WI-FI controlled switch for our Aga Range cooker All work was provided with a electrical installation certificate

Glynn has helped upgrade my house to have an external EV charging port at my house. External to the premises making it accessible to charge my car. This involved additional capacity on the fuse box, various cabling and assisting putting in front garden ducting to the point where I wanted the charging port. Pull through cable as well incase I ever need to feed another Ethernet or new cabling through in the future.

GFS was recommended to me by a friend, I would definitely use Glen again. The fitting of a new bathroom light went wrong because the wiring in the house was old and faulty resulting in all the main ceiling lights upstairs and downstairs no longer working. Glen realized there was more than one fault and corrected all of them within a couple of hours, including replacing a couple of light fittings and switches and rewiring part of the main fusebox.
