HB Electrical - Home Rewires & Renovations - Bristol

Good service

HB electricals are a reliable and knowledgeable technician group. We recently had a power issue at our property and considering the urgency, technician was sent on the same day and the issue was diagnosed and fixed to utmost satisfaction. Sam from HB electrical visited the property and I can say he is very knowledgeable and professional and made sure everything is checked. I highly recommend HB Electrical for your electrical needs!

The communication with HB electrical was excellent from the start. They responded promptly to each message. They arrived on time, were clean and efficient and did an excellent job. This is the second time I have used HB and will definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Jasmine and Dave have been so great at communicating before and during my works. They are very professional and helpful when it has come to upgrading all of my fire alarms for my HMO properties. Thank you guys! Will be in touch for more work!

A great and professional experience from start to finish. The work was carried out efficiently and clearly explained to us throughout the whole process. We resisted a number of jobs to be done and these were done to a high standard.

I needed to get the EICR certificate and the whole process was really smooth. Harry was very responsive, the report was detailed and the price was very reasonable. Overall I am pleased with the service

Very pleased with our new lights. The team were professional and friendly. Customer support was very good and helpful.

Installed 3 ceiling fans for us, Dave was friendly and professional. Did a brilliant job and left the place clean and tidy afterwards. Would highly recommend!

It is rare to find a contractor that delivers top-tier quality, reliability, and excellent customer service all at once. We are so thrilled that we found Harry and his team. From start to finish they put our minds at ease. They worked very quickly to complete a full rewire of our new house, knocked down walls and level flooring for us in preparation for our new kitchen. They minimised the number of contractors we have had to source for ourselves. They are even going to return to fit our new kitchen when it arrives. Would definitely recommend!

Great service. Dave identified and corrected the problem within an hour. Fast and clean service. Would use again!

HB electrical have great staff, they responded to emails quickly and efficiently. Clear pricing, efficient testing carried out. I would happily use them again.

This is the second time I have needed electrical work and I knew exactly who to look for. Quick to help, great communication throughout and completed the job tidily. I can highly recommend Harry!

Great company, quick and reasonably priced.

I had been struggling to find a good electrician to get my EICR done and once I messaged HB electrical it was all super easy. Quick responses, polite, top job done. I’m very happy and will use them again.

Everytime something needs fixing in my flat, I dread having to try and find the right person to fix it. But having used HB for a couple of things now, I know that if the problems electrical, I can just contact them. They are so responsive and get back to me quickly its made getting a quote and booking things in so smooth. Both times they've arrived on time, been friendly, efficient and done great work. Would highly recommend!

I needed a quick rewiring due to a damaged old circuit. Called this company, No fuss, straight forward and delivered right exactly what I wanted.

Great service again from HB electrical team, very quick and efficient and offered advice as well.

I contacted HB Electrical to complete a variety of jobs including moving a light fixture, installing a new socket and replacing a switch. Work was completed in a timely manner to a high quality, the electrician was friendly and helpful in explaining what had been completed and all mess was cleared up afterwards. I will be using HB electrical for future work.

I contacted Harry as soon as my house offer was accepted, and I’m so glad I did. He and his team were highly responsive, and they managed to conduct the EICR within just a couple of days. Excellent, hassle-free service from start to finish. I’ll definitely be looking to work with HB Electrical again in the future. Highly recommended!

I had a small job that needed completing in my flat , and Harry was very responsive and come out the next day , very happy will definitely use them again.

Second time using HB Electrical. Definately my go to for any eletrical works, great service, local and very reasonable in their prices. Electrician turn up on time, assessed the problem and went straight to work, all clean and tidy, cannot honestly fault the service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend for any electrical works.

HB Electrical installed an extractor fan in my bathroom ducting out through the loft. The job was done quickly and to a high standard. Both the electrician and Jasmine who I interacted with over email were really friendly and helpful. Very happy overall!

Absolutely brilliant. Was left in a pickle by a builder who removed our earthing rod without telling me. This company prioritised the job for us and were professional and friendly. Excellent service and seem fairly priced too. Will be using again for sure. Thank you

I had some electrical work done yesterday a new light fitted & a new socket fitted very please with the work & would highly recommend.

Replied to enquires promptly and Dave the Electrian carried out the work very throughly. Would highly recommend.

High quality work and easy communication. Would use HB Electrical again in future!

Appointment arranged really quickly, engineer very friendly and sorted the issue quickly (and explained what he was doing helpfully). All communications from HB also really warm and friendly. Whole process excellent, quick, and pleasant. Will use HB again whenever I next need an electrician. Many thanks.

From start to finish the comms with HB have been great. Very clear and friendly. Dave came today to move 2 light fixtures for me, in old lath and plaster ceilings so I was expecting a bit of a mess but everything was finished to a great standard and tidied up afterwards. We hit a couple of bumps in the road with beams being in the way but Dave talked me through the options so I still ended up with what I was after. Great job. Will certainly use for my next job

Very efficient service. I had a wall socket replaced it was done so quick I could not believe it! Very good and great communication!

Excellent service from HB Electrical. They were very quick to respond and got us booked in without any hassle. The engineer was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond by offering helpful advice on fitting a washing machine we were having trouble with. Really appreciated the extra effort and would happily recommend them to others.

Very happy with the electrician that came to sort my downstairs lights that weren’t working. He text to say he was on his way, like I’d asked. Polite, professional and did a great job. All fixed and new light put up in the front room. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience replacing 3 ceiling lights quickly and efficiently. I’d definitely use them again.

Quick and easy communication, electrician was out the same week, diagnosed the issues we had

A prompt response following a concern regarding a broken, cracked and exposed electric socket. The electrician arrived (Harry) and provided reassurance, he fixed the socket promptly and efficiently. Harry was friendly and got on with the job in hand. On his departure I was left with peace of mind and a sparkling new electric socket :) Happy with their services and would use them again without hesitation :)

Fab service. Knowledgeable and very speedy response. Couldn’t have asked for more and very good value!

Fitted a new bathroom extractor for us last month (Bradley Stoke). The electrician, Dave, went above & beyond for us by also filling the previous extractor hole for us! Quick, clean & tidy! Would use them again for any work needed doing! Highly recommend!

We originally contacted Harry for an EICR on a property we were purchasing. From the outset, he was responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. The house ultimately needed a full renovation, including a complete rewire, a knock through, ceiling plastering, new radiators, two bathroom refits, a kitchen install and wood flooring install. Harry and his team have worked incredibly hard, and carried out all of this work to a really high standard. Every single member of the team was polite and professional, and we were really happy to have them working in our house over the last few months. In particular, Colin and Baz were amazing - they worked so hard to install our kitchen and bathrooms to a quality finish, and were so easy to get on with we actually miss having them around now they've gone! Ultimately, HB Electrical made renovating this house a much less stressful process than it could have been. The work was completed exactly as requested, and in a really collaborative way so that any tweaks we wanted to make along the way were taken on board and implemented. Harry has been amazing at organising the various tasks, fitting everything in despite the team's busy schedule, and is so quick to respond and address any questions and concerns. Thanks to HB Electrical, we've got the house feeling like a proper home in time for Christmas, which we really weren't expecting given the timescales. And we'll definitely be using them again for the next phase of the renovation!

I've used HB electrical a few times now and every time they have been fantastic. Very responsive to messages and upfront on cost. Always clear on availability and show up on time. High standard of work and a pleasure to deal with. It's nice to have a local electrician that you can rely on :) EDIT: Dec 2025. Received further fantastic service from HB. From enquiring about the work to the job being carried out was so easy. The team are so friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

HB Electrical responded quickly and arranged for someone to come out to me within a day, just before Christmas. I am very happy with their work and service, highly recommend

HB Electrical did the rewire of our new house. This was the first time we have had to do work to this scale on a property and Harry and his team were amazing throughout. The whole team that worked on the job were friendly and professional and completed the work to a high standard. They were efficient and also great at accommodating our requests. Not only is the house now set up how we wanted, but they did a brilliant job at cleaning up afterwards and the plastering work is excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to do a rewire and it's great for us to know a good electrician to call if we ever need future work done.

Excellent service, we got the team out to do an electrical safety certificate first and they found a number of problems. HB Electrical quickly quoted for remediation work and fitted us in the following week. They went above and beyond, even finding a replacement part instead of refitting a whole unit saving £100s! They are really responsive to emails and will help greatly. Will recommend 100%

Harry responded to our initial enquires very quickly. He came round to quote one evening and luckily had availability at short notice to do a full house rewire. He talked everything through - making suggestions - and was clear overall with his pricing. He was very communicative throughout. His team were polite and tidy - and left the house in a good state. They finished the job on time. He was happy to discuss (and come to a sensible solution for) the inevitable small hiccoughs / snags. (Harley was great with sorting these). We were very pleased with the finished job and would use HB Electrical again for the next electrical jobs on our house.

Excellent service

Great service, reliable and quick response!

Great service from the first enquiry through to completion. Fast, efficient and tidy work. Would recommend.

Full Rewire - I’ve used HB three times now, this time for a full rewire of the house including all new power, lighting, external sockets and relocating the consumer unit to the garage. Harry always has really good comms and is helpful with suggestions and detail, and is very clear with his quotes so you know exactly what is expected. After an initial quote, Harry came to the house to have a good look around before confirming exactly how it would all work. The team completed the job really quickly and I would definitely recommend them!

We used Harry and his team for our 1930s rewire earlier this year and were very happy with his work. Since then, we have had a few changes to some internal walls that required a couple of switches to be changed and wires extended. We knew there was only one person to call! Can’t fault the work and the price was reasonable too!

Top team!! Harry and his team completed a full rewire on our house and it was seamless from start to finish. We had delays with moving and Harry still managed to fit us in and within less than a week, the team had finished. All are polite, punctual and professional. Harry thanks for guiding and managing the process throughout, keeping us updated throughout and the end result, which has modernised our 1970 house. Thanks to Harley and Wayne, top job guys!! Just to add Harry also sourced a plasterer for us when requested and we have had ceilings skimmed and really pleased with the finish. If you need any electrical work or a full re-wire you are in safe hands, I have and will continue to recommend them and won’t hesitate to use them again if ever we need anything else.

I recently had my entire house re-wired by HB Electrical, and I am very pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain my options clearly when I had queries and worked efficiently. In addition to electrics, Harry also arranged for my house to be fully plastered. He was in regular contact with me throughout the process and project managed the two jobs effectively. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy company who complete work to a high standard, HB Electrical is your place to go.

Had a bathroom extractor fan replaced with a new 12v SELV as had alot of damp issues. It was quick to get a quote and they came out within a few days and fitted it. Had a slight mix up with the model/supply but when it was discovered they were back within a day to rectify the issue. I will use again for any future works

The response to my initial enquiry was super fast and communication was excellent. Once the date and time was agreed, Dave arrived promptly to fit a socket for my cooker hood. The site was left clean and tidy and I thank you very much for being so efficient and professional at all times. Highly recommend.

Harry and his team did a fantastic job of a total rewire of our four bed house. Pre-installation house visit to go through the details, and excellent communication throughout, meant we had total confidence before handing over the keys. Complete overhaul, all delivered in a few days, and with no mess or clean up. Any snagging/adjustments done immediately with no hassle and no extra fees. Totally recommend!

Sorted my problem quickly and professionally! Changed faulty Horstmann to new Timeguard Immersion Timer. Hot water problem is fixed now!Thank you !

As a first-time buyer, I was pretty daunted by the idea of renovating three rooms in my flat—but Harry and Wayne made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Harry project managed everything from start to finish, which meant I didn’t have to chase down quotes from different tradespeople or juggle timelines. It was all handled in one go, and at a very reasonable price. I wasn’t living locally during the renovation, but they kept me updated regularly and were quick to respond whenever I had questions. Plus, I live on the second floor of an old building, and they were extremely professional and respectful towards my neighbours. One of my neighbours even commented afterward about how nice they were! Overall, a really positive experience. I’ll definitely be reaching out again when it’s time to finish off the rest of the flat!

Very happy and pleased with HB Electrical, plug sockets needed moving in our kitchen a guy called dave came to do our job and he was excellent. Very experienced and excellent work from start to finish. Happy to say i will be using them again on the future projects thanks again to harry and dave.

I used this firm on two occasions this month, to fit four ceiling light fittings, two mains smoke alarms and to replace/upgrade light switches and sockets throughout the whole house. On both occasions the electrician was on time, friendly, professional and respectful (removing shoes without being asked). The work was completed quickly and to a high standard. They cleaned up after themselves, including vacuuming, and took away the unwanted materials. I have already scheduled further work with them and I highly recommend this company.

We recently had our house rewired and we can’t recommend Harry and his team highly enough. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. What truly stood out was the incredibly fast turnaround—they completed the full rewire in 4 and a half days without cutting corners or compromising on quality. The team worked seamlessly, coordinating each stage with precision with Harry keeping us informed throughout. What really impressed us: after the wiring was replaced, they didn’t just leave us with holes and dust. Every wall was carefully patched and plastered, leaving the place looking clean after what is a very invasive job. It’s rare to find tradespeople who take such pride in the finishing touches. If you’re looking for a reliable, fast, and detail-oriented company, HB Electrical is the one to call. We’re thrilled with the results and grateful for the smooth experience.

Harry was super helpful over email and responded quickly to my first enquiry, they had an engineer out within a day to fix my electric shower. He was super helpful and explained all the problems. It was all fixed and I've had no issues since. Highly recommend these guys and will definitely be using them again!

The whole team was clear and very helpful. We dealt with one person who came over for a quote, another over phone/email and the person who did the job. All were polite, clear and did what they said they would. The work was very neat! I'll use them again when needed.

Fantastic service. Harry's team came all the way out to the outskirts of Calne to provide us with an EICR. The team were punctual, efficient, and very polite. Everything was thoroughly explained to us and we're looking forward to working with them again. Thank you :)

Harry and his team recently rewired our house and we are really pleased with the work they did. We had concerns about the electrics in the house we had just bought and Harry came round to do an electrical safety test. He was very friendly and helpful. He talked through different options we could choose to sort out the issues. There was no pressure to go for a full rewire and he also expained cheaper/ less invasive options we could go for instead. Harry's team were all very nice and respectful. They turned up on time and all our wishes about the placement of sockets etc were followed. Very happy with the work and the price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Harry and his team rewired our first home – a mid-terrace Victorian property. It’s a refurbishment project and Harry was really helpful in explaining all the steps for us and coming round to plan where things would go. We wanted the option to add things later on, a heat pump, some solar panels and some bits in the kitchen and Harry was able to incorporate these elements so that they could be added later. The whole experience was great. Harry, Sam or Adam were there to answer questions throughout. The guys were super friendly and attentive. They were finished in a week and did a great job, and cleaned up before they left. I would definitely recommend HB Electrical! Thanks guys!

I’ve had Harry and his team come over multiple times now to carry out electrical work. Dave has completed fantastic work fitting consumer units and an extractor fan. I’d recommend HB Electrical, as they’re quick and get the job done professionally.

HB Electrical have done a couple of jobs for us and we will definitely continue to use them for any electrical work. The electrician who visited was very knowledgeable and was able to fix a problem with our outside light caused by the complicated wiring in our property. I would definitely recommend them!

Excelllent work. Really fast and professional.

Really professional and prompt service. Highly recommend them.

Quick and easy to book and fast turnaround!

Booked these guys to remove an old burglar alarm, did a quick and tidy job. Would definitely recommend

I am very pleased with the installation of the fuseboard. Jack worked professionally & left the work space tidy. I was able to book in for an appointment quickly. Great communication from Harry, who kept me informed throughout. I would definitely recommend HB Electrical. Nicky.

Very quick to arrange an EICR and worked well to identify issues. Clear communication and transparent throughout. Report presented clearly and quickly.

Professional, responsive, and very helpful

Harry and the team were excellent. We decided to have a full rewire of our 1930s house and while we were there had a new kitchen circuit, extra sockets, lights and solar cabling installed. Harry was a great communicator and really accommodating to the fact we needed to keep costs down. We chased and filled all holes ourselves and harry was helped guide us on how to do it. The team were similarly great to work with, got the job done quickly and flexible to some of our last minute requests. I Recommend HB Electrical, they made it all feel fairly straightforward for what can be quite a chaotic Job when you're living in the house. Thank you!

If you take anything away from this review know that HB did a fantastic job, on time & budget, gave me a fair price, and the crew is really easy to work with. This is a rare combo when fishing from the sea of contractors, but I had the added stress of finding out mid reno project that I needed a complete redo of all home electrics! The other recommendations from friends had lengthy lead times. HB was also actively working on other projects, but after talking through my situation and details of the property, Harry was able to shift his crew around between local work to help me out on short notice. At every step the crew was friendly and always took time to explain what was happening. My next door neighbors commented that the crew was busy and on point all day. Harry gave great insight of options, and helped avoid some unnecessary costs for a few switch & lighting decisions that turned out weren't a high priority for us. Special shout to Harley who was on site each day from first chase to final switch, and I even spotted picking up cable waste around the house by hand before starting up the day's work. I was in a real pinch, a bit desperate, and an easy target to sock with a huge quote and "added" expenses. Instead I got really good work at a good price, with minimal impact on project timeline, and a very pleasant experience - HB made a stressful time a little easier. I also found a company I will call back next time I need pro sparky work and would recommend to anyone.

Very responsive, clear explanations and found prompt solution to our electrical issue. Highly recommend 👍

Excellent service, Harry was fantastic, great communication and friendly service, he visited to sort out an issue, and he also came back really quickly when there was a small problem with the extractor fan. Thank you for your help. I will be keeping your details and recommending you to friends.

The guys came out and did a number of small jobs for us today. Very clean and efficient. Would highly recommend.

We were really impressed with HB Electrical. They upgraded our consumer unit and did a full safety report. The quote was clear, detailed, and fairly priced. Communication throughout was excellent, they were very responsive and quick to reply to any questions. Harley, the engineer, turned up exactly when he said he would and was polite, professional, and approachable. He took the time to explain any issues as he worked, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience, we’d definitely use this company again.

First time using HB electrical for a Full house rewire. Super service from start to finish. Great communication from Harry before and during the works. Finished ahead of schedule. Will be using them again in the future and happy to recommend

Very flexible and accommodating, tested our electrics at short notice. Thanks!

HB Electrical have done it again! Timely response, excellent service and perfect results. Many thanks

Harry was very helpful and sorted the issue out with ease. 5 star 👍

2nd time using HB Electricals and absolutely brilliant service provided. Though it was a small job, Harry was quick to respond and was there the next day to attend. Kept the communications prompt from beginning to the end of the job. . Definitely recommend !

Harry and Dave installed the new Zappi Glo EV charger at my home. Was going to go with Octopus Energy but the lead time was 3 weeks, Harry and team came in a couple of days. The price was reasonable, attention to detail was good and communications have been fantastic throughout. Harry also informed me of an upgraded version of the product I was going to buy which has helped to futureproof our home! I'm relatively new to the area and can safely say that I've now found my local sparkies! Thanks guys.

Responsive, professional and reasonably priced! Great work.

Fast responses, excellent communication of works, immediate response, friendly and very neat and tidy!

We had the electrics checked and the fuse box replaced by the lovely Dave. I can only recommend HB electrical, really happy with the service and communication throughout. Really reasonable prices too. Would definitely use them again.

Great communication from Harry, fitted us in for an urgent issue and friendly team.

What amazing toilets super clean thoroughly enjoyed my time. Would revisit simply for the toilets it was graceful and made me feel like a prince

I asked HB to drill a hole in the wall so the kitchen hood could vent grease outside the house. Even though it was a small job, they took the time to explain every step to me in detail beforehand. Fantastic service!

Great service. Very responsive and helpful.

Excellent service from HB Electrical. A fiddly complicated job involving two new dedicated electrical supplies to install a dual combination cooker and and an armoured 30m cable to provide light and power to an outside shed. Harry in charge was very responsive to my enquiries, willing to take time to talk through the work, and even made concessions within the cost to allow me to do basic preparations myself. On the day three engineers, Dave, Sam and Adam arrived early and were all very competent, polite and professional. The workmanship was of a high standard and with minimal disruption to the property. Harry was also able to co-ordinate an excellent gas registered plumber on the same day to complete the installation of the new cooker. I particularly liked the due care and attention taken in laying the armoured cable through the garden and with no damage to the plants or flowers. The installation of the lights and sockets in the shed area were top notch and as requested appliances were installed with more of an industrial feel. Really liked the retro metal consumer box. If you are looking for a diverse and reliable team I would highly recommend giving HB Electrical a call. Andy Brown and Jo Walter

Great service! After temporarily losing all our house electrics one evening, we left an after hours message on the HB Electrical phone number. Harry responded by text, and a v helpful electrician was with us first thing next morning to run a check on our supply and circuits etc. We're very happy to recommend HB Electrical for their prompt and good service.

Quick, friendly service. Highly recommend

I contacted HB Electrical Bristol the other day as I needed a new light pull cord in my bathroom. I get up when it is still dark, so using a torch & candles was not a great option for long! Luckily they were able to assist promptly. The job was done for a fair price & I am very pleased with the result. I would be happy to recommend HB Electrical Bristol.

I asked Harry to install several light fittings in my flat and couldn’t be happier with the results! The work was done quickly with and efficiently and the lights look great. I’d definitely use HB Electrical again in the future.

Amazing work. Tidy and very quick. Thanks to Harry and his team. Best in town

We've used HB Electrical a couple of times in the past few years. Professional, friendly and very pleased with the work carried out. Dave did a great job fitting a new bathroom extractor for us. Would recommend to all, definitely our go to electricians. Thank you Harry and the team.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used HB Electricals and yet again they have been brilliant. I don’t think I’ll ever use a different company now. Harry is friendly and professional and reasonably priced. Excellent service from Dave who was super polite and did a great job. Always leave everything tidy. Extended the outside electrics which wasn’t easy as he had to get through some large bushes. He also as fitting a fuse panel, new lights and dimmer to one of the bedrooms which looks fabulous. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic job all around! We had asked many other electricians to quote for the jobs we need done, we were mostly told that it would be very difficult/need to lift our carpet up. Dave did all the work brilliantly and exactly to our requirement with minimal damage, and all within a very reasonable price. We strongly recommend their service!

HB Electrical did a fantastic job on the rewire of my new property. All of my last minute changes were implemented, and with the one fault I had, Harry had someone round the next day to correct. Can’t fault the service, would highly recommend to all, and will certainly be using them again on any future work.

Fantastic service thank you HB

I used HB electrical for an EICR before purchasing a house, then to fix all the issues after we completed. The team were quick to get the work done and answered all our questions. Will definitely use again for any future work needed.

Excellent service - really quick response to give me a quote and could do the work next day. The work was done well and quickly and both were friendly in their approach.

Absolutely over the moon with hb electrical. Harry sent Dave over to fix my downstairs lighting and replace fuse box, while doing that Dave found more minor problems which he fixed straightaway, can't praise them highly enough thanks again Harry and Dave! Thanks from steven chiddy.

Excellent service from the initial enquiry to the finish of the job. Very efficient, punctual, and reasonably priced. Will use it again and would definitely recomend.

Great job done on some extra sockets (internal and external) and outdoor lights by the team. All wiring is well hidden and everything left neat and tidy. Thanks.

I rang on contacted them on Friday, on recommendation of a neighbour. I got a text on Sunday afternoon, to arrange for an appointment for the engineer to come the following morning. The engineer was lovely and really helpful and he replaced my light fitting and switch. Really impressed with the service I received and I would definitely recommend and I will definitely use them in future

Great service, I messaged at 5pm Friday needing a small job done urgently, was completed before 8.15 Monday morning. Would definitely use again.

Very happy with my experience with HB electrical, very efficient and reliable :) thanks so much for your help and the recommendation for a different light fitting in a room where the light kept being broken due to storage in the ceiling. Appreciate it!

We chose HB electrical for our EICR when buying our house after a speedy response from Harry and competitive pricing. The positive experience led us to using HB electrical for our rewire in November which we were unsure we needed but so glad we did!! They were able to add additional sockets, data cabling, replace light fixtures and add in an Aircon power supply in our 4-bed property before we moved in. Harry put us at ease and was also flexible with the dates after a few hiccups with our completion date. During the rewire, the team were polite and professional and left the property in a clean state before we moved in. His family also helped us with the plastering afterwards which was a very wholesome experience and service, Colin was happy to give us many decorating and general DIY tips as we were doing a lot of our own renovations. Would 100% recommend HB Electrical and will be using them in the future!

Fantastic service - professional, responsive and efficient. Responded quickly to my initial email. Problem investigated and sorted within a week (before several other companies had even come back to my first email!). Clear and affordable pricing. Highly recommend Harry and the team.

HB electrical did an amazing job at replacing our kitchen downlights. They were quick to respond and could come to complete the job within the week. The electrician was quick and professional. Would highly recommend.

I have used HB Electrical a couple of times now for electrical installations and replacements around the house. The team is very friendly and professional, and jobs are very fairly priced. Definitely a company to be trusted and who I am sure to use again.

I hired HB Electrical to install an oven. I received great customer service and the oven was installed at short notice and at a reasonable price.

Very efficient service from HB Electrical. The electrician seemed very knowledgeable and honest. Thank you!

Harry responded promptly to my enquiry and had a team out to my property to deal with my electrical issue swiftly and without fuss. Second time I have used HB Electrical and it won’t be the last.

I recently used Harry and his team to rewire my 1930 three bedroom semidetached house. Harry came over and listened to my specifications and then worked up a quote, which was competitive and reasonable. The work was then carried out to a high standard and the working environment was left clean. Honestly speaking sometimes it’s hard to find the right contractor for the job but for electrics I would look no further than Harry and his team.

Harry, Joe and the chaps did some large electrical works in our house inside and out. The works look great and they tidied away after themselves each evening which is much appreciated when living in the house. 5/5. I’m sure the dog will miss them too!

Great reliable electricians. They are always my first contact if I need anything. Always helpful and explain everything. They are very honest and trustworthy and I feel are good value for money. Highly recommended.

Great guys to work with! Clear comms before the job to discuss. Booked appointment, showed up on time, tidy and safe job done sorting out a difficult issue on an old house! Would recommend

Very professional, Fixed the issue very quickly. Delighted with the service

We have used Harry and his team for serval jobs for our properties. He is reliable and does the jobs excellently. He always helps out with great deals and good prices. Would definitely recommend.

Harry was quick, tidy and took great care in his work. Top electrician would definitely use him again.

Would definitely recommend. They did a great job of adding a new outdoor plug socket - very tidy finish.

Harry and the team carried out a full rewire on our newly purchased home. During the initial survey they identified some things that weren’t safe and made sure the house was safe before leaving. Following the survey it was determined a full rewire was needed. They completed the work in great time to a high standard and doing other bits of work whenever we had questions. I highly recommend them and will be using them myself again in the future for any electrical work.

Great service. Communicative, asked questions to get the parts needed before arriving so the job could be completed in one go. Would Recommend.

Harry and team recently rewired our 1930s house. Within weeks of initial contact, Harry lined up a team to complete the majority of work prior to Christmas, with the remaining work completed in the 3 weeks following. The team were efficient and flexible in accommodating all our requests, and we are really pleased with the end result. Rough mix plastering from Colin and Charoz was completed shortly after electrical work had started. The work was done to an excellent standard, so much so that we requested they plaster 2 further rooms in the house. Thank you to Harry and the whole team, who did an excellent job in a timely manner.

Brilliant service from HB Electrical. We had a 3 bedroom house rewired, done within 3.5 days. They were always on time, very hard working and super professional and very polite. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you for your great service!

Great service and able to help quickly

Harry and the team have just completed a full rewire in my house and I'm extremely happy with their work. They have acted in an extremely professional and courteous manner and made a massive job, very easy for me. They came back with a competitive quote quickly and turned around the job very quick as well. I would definitely recommend them.

WOW! Harry and his fabulous team truly are amazing and I would recommend without hesitation. I cannot overstate how worried I was about having this work done (full rewire of a reasonably sized 1930s end terrace), especially after being ripped off in the past by a roofer. Harry was an absolute legend from step one, working with me to ensure I was totally comfortable with all steps of the process and going out of his way answering lots of random messages. The work was booked in really quickly, ensuring I am completely safe and sound for Xmas and boy what a team - a veritable army of electricians appeared at my house and they got the whole thing done in a smidge over half the anticipated time! No follow up questions, no messing around they got it right first time - they even let my chickens in and out so I didn't have to trawl across Bristol twice a day. I honestly cannot find enough words to thank Harry and his team for everything they did, including leaving me a Xmas sandwich (I am not sure this was intentional tbh but it was very well received haha!). I am confident that no matter what you need doing, big or small, HB Electrical has got you covered. I am absolutely over the moon. Thank you thank you thank you! <3

HB electrical were quick to quote and quick to carry out the work we needed. The electrician was polite, informative and tidy. Happy to recommend them.

The crew were very helpful and friendly they did a great job and left the house in a nice and clean place. They also put a extra socket by the fuse board which I did not ask for . I would recommend them to anyone who needs a electrician.

Quick response and had someone out the next day to update some necessary reports and works done. Highly recommended!

Ive used HB electrical 3 times so far and recommend them to anyone needing efficient, knowledgable and reliable work done. They have been fabulous, both in work and advice.

Called to fix a problem with sockets in the kitchen, no power. Quick response when contacted and date agreed. Fault tested, new sockets needed. Fitted and all in good working order. Professional service. Highly recommend.

Harry, Dave and team have always gone above and beyond for me. I’ve worked with them for a few years now, and they’ve been excellent. Having a number of student properties it’s really important to have someone who is reliable as well as being competitive with pricing. Their customer service is always friendly and nothing is too much of an ask. They have completed a mixture of smaller jobs to complete rewires of properties, which I can’t fault. I would recommend them to anyone, and have passed on their details many times. Thanks again for all your hard work!

Harry and his team have helped improve my living situation immeasurably after living without working lights for three years. My home was in desperate need of upgrading. I moved in after my grandmother had passed and the electrics hadn't been updated for decades. I contacted Harry, explaining the situation and he was very friendly and understanding. When he came to survey the house he was clear about time and costs and assured me that he had a good team that can do the work. Whilst I waited for the rewire to start, he kept in touch and made me feel at ease as I was quite anxious about it. The morning of the rewiring, his team arrived on time and ready to get started. They kept to the schedule and updated me on its progress. I am so happy with the whole process from start to finish. Harry and his team have made my home more efficient and easier to live in. Thank you so much.

Perfect service! Exactly what you would hope for - professional, transparent and good communication throughout. Would highly recommend!

HB promptly organised to come and do some work I that requested. The work is all great and the engineer was efficient. Recommended electrician!

Had a couple of new sockets replaced plus light switches and new shaver socket and bathroom cabinet wired. Harry and his team were amazing, they kept me updated all through the process, they also advised that my fuse box did not have any surge protection on the sockets, so I arranged with them to update it. I asked if they could help with taking out an old wired alarm system, they were able to book me in, I also arrange for my outdated under cabinet lighting in my kitchen to be replaced at the same time. Great job completed in the time they said and at a competitive price - highly recommended- Great guys - thank you 😊

2x ring camera installation, straightforward visit for quote and then install, would use again.

I just bought a house and it needed to be completely rewired. Harry made the whole process incredibly easy. He was able to fit in the job at short notice and he and his team did a fantastic job. The online portal Harry uses for the paper work makes that part both transparent and straight-forward. Great! His company offers a standard package for the rewire which you can customise as you need. After talking through basics on the phone, Harry came round to do a thorough walk through of all rooms to make sure that we had thought of all the things that needed taking care of and he even threw in a few extras for free. He also answered all my questions very patiently and without talking down to me just because I am a woman (and yes, that happened...) Once Harry's team started the work, he updated me right away on everything that needed my input via text message. The team finished the job as scheduled and Joe did the hand-over at the end to make sure everything was as I had wanted it. The work also came with all the proper certifications and a 5 year guarantee. All in all: excellent workmanship and customer service, very well organised, very reliable AND a competitive price, too. You can't go wrong with HB electrical. I would hire them again any time. Highly recommended!

Came to fit a new extractor fan and outdoor socket - very quick and straight forward - thank you

Great service and communication. Put a new double socket in my new utility room. Thanks would use again!

I'm so pleased with my experience with hb electrics from start to finish. Everything was explained along the way and the price was good. The man who came to do the test for my safety certificate was polite, kindly helpful and efficient. A faultless experience.

Quick, efficient and friendly service

HB engineer Dave was very friendly when conducting a full system check on our new property. The report sent over was thorough and I would recommend the service!

Great job done

What separates Harry from most is he is so flexible with the last minute changes and shortened deadlines. The lads he sent to complete the work are all great guys. Would recommend ! Updated our fuse box to meet 2024 standards and wired in our oven and hob . As well as under cabinet lighting.

Great service, came out within a couple of hours of calling and carried out the repair. Highly recommend

I can thoroughly recommend HB Electrical. They were easy to get hold of and were completely clear on cost. Harry is always very quick to respond. I had a last minute job and contacted them at 08:00 on a Monday, they sent someone round within the hour to rectify an issue. This saved me the cost of an abortive washing machine delivery.

Great experience with Harry. Easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend.

Got in touch with HB electrical so replace a broken 3 way ceiling light. They sourced a replacement and sorted the problem quickly. Would highly recommend and would use them again

Great communication with Harry. We needed an EICR, some replacement light fittings and some replacement sockets and switches, alongside the installation of additional wall lights, sockets and switches. We needed works completed within a tight timeframe and they completed ahead of schedule. Dave the electrician turned up on time, made helpful suggestions, cleaned up after himself, and the finish on the installations was fantastic. Very professional company who we would strongly recommend to anyone.

I would highly recommend HB Electrical. I am moving house and needed an all clear electric certificate. I contacted them, and they were super efficient, and within a couple of days, they had an engineer out, carried out their survey. Identified a couple of small areas that needed attention, which they fixed and all done. The engineer was very professional, friendly, clean and all round nice chap. Thank you for a good service!!!

I recently had the pleasure of hiring HB Electrical to carry out a full electrical rewire to my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and highly knowledgeable. Harry and his team took the time to understand the scope of the work, offered helpful suggestions, and provided a clear estimate. The quality of the work was outstanding — everything was completed efficiently and to a high standard. Whether it was installing new lighting, rewiring, or troubleshooting an issue, HB Electrical handled it all with skill and care. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for future electrical needs. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I've reviewed HB Electricals Bristol. On both occasions I have given 5 stars. Harry and his team have wired in my beach hut / home office to the home consumer unit. A very professional, neat and tidy job. The team of electricians are efficient, competent and courteous. I will always use Harry for any electrical works.

Very prompt service and excellent job done by 2 very courteous and competent staff members. Thankyou.

Harry was brilliant, communicated really well by text before coming after our oven delivery kept changing and then did the job of connecting our oven up quickly, was so lovely to talk to and helped me check with the manufacturer that something was correct before proceeding

Great job: electrician came quickly, did fantastic work, and was very polite. I would recommend them

Amazing Service! Didn't think they would bat an eyelid at my urgent message at 9.30pm trying to sort a busted socket controlling the Fridge Freezer, but someone replied within 10 minutes, and by mid afternoon the next day the work was complete. - Definitely recommend

We commissioned HB Electrical to consolidate and update our fuse boxes. They did a swift and professional job of bringing us up to date, and were also able to arrange for all the plasterwork to be refilled and a nice cupboard built to house it all. Thoroughly recommended.

Our electrician came over promptly and fitted our extractor fan fast. He cleaned up after himself, was very polite and I would definitely reccomend this service to others in future !

Really easy to get hold of - excellent communication with Harry. Came out within a couple of days to fit a new bathroom fan and separately chase a cable into a wall. Everything left clean and tidy - would recommend.

Excellent service would recommend! Friendly and professional.

We’ve used HB Electrical Bristol for fitting electrics in our conservatory (sockets, lights, and light switch) and recently for installing additional sockets and tidying up wiring in our kitchen. They always do a great job—quick, tidy, and professional. Highly recommended.

Really recommend HB Electrical. I wanted an outside socket installed and many other places wouldn’t even reply to me! Quick reply back and good communication when working out dates to install. The install itself was quick and clean and tidy, very pleased with the service from start to finish.

HB electrical have once again provided a prompt and honest service. This is our third time dealing with Harry, first for a rewire, next to replace a shower fan and this time for an electrical certificate. Happy to recommend HB electrical based on our experience.

Fast, professional, great comms and upfront about pricing. Wish we'd found them sooner and will be using for all our electrical needs in the future.

Friendly and highly efficient, Harry has been incredibly helpful, no matter the size of the task. Thank you.

I can endorse the use of this business. I was impressed with their expertise and efficiency, a job really well done.

Harry is great, friendly, professional and prompt. He did a really good job running electrics out to our new garden office and fixing lights and fixtures in the office. I would recommend Harry’s company to others.

As new homeowners, we had Harry arrange an EICR. David conducted the report and was thorough and efficient. Harry then took the time afterwards to walk us through the details of the report and speak to us about our options for work to be done given our budget and expectations. We have yet to have work done, but due to Harry’s thorough explanations of the process, I expect the work will be done well.

Excellent Service, Great Job Harry! Will surely recommend

Great service - Harry and his team were able to install a new electric shower the morning after my enquiry. Communication was fast and easy throughout.

Work completed to a high standard, quick and easy to book the job in, really pleased, I would highly recommend.

I'd been encountering an issue with the electrics in my garden office and garage and had bought a cheap socket tester which had shown an issue with its earth/ground connection. I'd seen HB Electrical recommended by multiple people on the local Facebook group so gave them a call. They told me they'd try for the end of the next day after their existing jobs but otherwise it would be the day after that. As it happened they weren't able to get there on that first day, but they kept me updated via text messages without me having to chase at all so the communication was good. The next morning the electrician turned up (after texting me to tell how far out he was first) and got straight to work diagnosing two distinct issues that were both contributing to the issue I'd observed. He was able to fix both of them, as well as explain exactly what the problems were and what he was doing to solve them, and was all done within an hour, including the time it took him to meticulously test each socket in my garage and office individually. Very happy. Would absolutely use them again.

Excellent service, highly recommend. Very quickly identified the problem and solved the issue.

Highly recommended. HB Electrical came and tested the electrics and provided an Electrical Installation Condition Report. Very thorough and great communication throughout.

I used HB Electrical to install a security light in our rental property, excellent service and communication and did a great job. A few months after installation the light developed a fault (light manufacturers issue) I rang Harry who replaced the light free of charge the same day, thanks again!!

Would recommend. HB electrical were professional and quick to respond. They came out to fix and make safe some issues with my electrics that were uncovered behind the existing oven and then fitted the new hob for me. Very pleased.

Fitting Electrical Cooker. Provided a fair and a reasonable quote. Carried out a little additional work to raise the cooker to the kitchen worktop level too. Thank you.

We had no power due to a plug short circut and was sparking / melting plug every time we tried to turn the fuse box back on. Harry came over and got us back up and running the same afternoon helping avoid a hard time with the kids and no electric :)

HB Electrical have just done a full rewire and all the making good for us in our new house. We initially got Harry and his team to do an EICR for us when we were buying the house, and Harry was more than willing to answer any questions we had about the work required. We then got in touch again to do the rewire once we had moved and Harry met up with us at the house to go over things and again was happy to answer any questions. We moved out for the work to be done but whenever we popped in the guys doing the work were always very polite and asked when they weren't sure where we wanted something (we also had a whatsapp chat set up for this purpose, which was really helpful). It was much easier being able to get all the making good (plastering etc) organised by the same team and not having to find our own plasterer. Having our kitchen done at the same time has meant that we needed some extra plastering done and a floor screed laid which Harry was able to organise for us too, and the guys made a few trips back to finish the electrics off as the kitchen fitting progressed. Overall, using HB Electrical to do the full job has definitely made our lives easier and we would recommend them to anyone looking to do a rewire.

Work completed quickly/efficiently. Engineer was professional and friendly as well as trustworthy. Two jobs needed completing including one that required some investigation. Bathroom light pull cord/switch and kitchen wall switch swapped out for new, to resolve issues with lack of light in bathroom and lack of electricity to washing machine. I would recommend based on this visit.

Would recommend. Harry turned up on time and did the work promptly.

Quick, efficient and very friendly service. Came out to help in a matter of few hours. Will definitely recommend. Keep up the good work lads

New fuse board fitted by Harry and his team. Excellent communications and quick work completed to expectations. Highly recommended.

Harry gave a quick appointment for garage wiring. He gave me a quote using photos I sent. Initial expectation was to wire from the MCB to the garage behind the plasterboards which would be a lot of work. But Harry found a plug point near to the garage that he tapped into saving time and money. Thanks Harry.

Great service. Harry sorted out a few issues in our bathroom with spotlights and extractor fan. Gave good advice for future upgrades in our electrics. He kept us updated when he was running a little late. Would recommend.

Contacted a few electricians for a like for like electric shower replacement. HB Electrical gave the best price (I only contacted businesses with high ratings and lots of reviews) and were also able to fit me in a lot sooner than everybody else. They were very responsive and organised. The electrician came on the day and was very tidy and professional. The work is very high quality.

Very professional, short notice and so pleased with the service. Definitely recommend you guys. Had previous jobs done by you guys in the past and always completed jobs and made everything so easy.
