Plastered my hallway. Smooth communication from start to finish. Great result

Absolutely brilliant plastering job from start to finish. Arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy. The finish is flawless and better than expected. Highly recommend to anyone needing plastering work done.

Roy was punctual and polite. He did, what looks to be, an amazing job plastering our kitchen wall. He was very tidy and he made sure that he cleaned up before he left. I would highly recommend Roy and the Ellis Lake Group as their price was more than fair. Thank you

We honestly can’t recommend Ellis highly enough. We’re based in Talbots Woods and originally hired him to completely rebuild our first-floor balcony, and the results are outstanding. The workmanship is clearly very high quality, beautifully finished, and built to last. Trust me when I say the pictures don’t do it justice. We were so impressed that we later called Ellis out for an emergency repair, and once again he was fantastic. He was extremely responsive, did an excellent job, and his pricing was very reasonable, especially given the urgency. Ellis has an incredibly wide range of skills, is reliable, communicative, and genuinely takes pride in his work. He’s also just a really great guy to deal with, which makes the whole experience stress-free. We feel very lucky to have Ellis’s number and fully intend to use him for all our upcoming projects. If you’re looking for a top-quality handyman around Bournemouth you can truly trust, Ellis is the one.

Great quality work at a fair price - highly recommended

I employed Ellis to fit a stair-rail for an elderly relative. He did an excellent job and left the area immaculate. An excellent job. It was priced competitively and I thoroughly recommend Ellis.

What a brilliant reliabe company. Excellent workmanship and communication. Very clean workers. Very pleasant experience workers. Go out of their way to please.

Excellent service from Ellis Lake group. Fulfilled the arrangements made and supplied a very competent and confident tradesman who installed exactly what I requested at a fair price. Certainly recommend this company to others.

Contacted Ellis on the day of something that needed to be done ASAP - he responded, managed to swing by the same day and sorted it. Couldn't recommend him enough. Very professional and did a great job!

Always a top job and would recommend Ellis

Excellent Service – Highly Recommend! Had a new door installed recently and couldn’t be happier with the service. The installer did a fantastic job, even working through some pretty miserable weather to get it done. Really impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication — it’s not every day you see someone working so hard in the pouring rain without a single complaint. The door looks great and everything was left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, quality workmanship.

Roy the plasterer was super efficient and did a really good job. Would definitely recommend .

Ellis came to the rescue when our kitchen tap decided to break and become a waterfall. All communication was handled quickly and his work is very impressive. Would highly recommend!

Ellis… is so skilled and professional in all aspects. I could not recommend enough. He has been fantastic in the work he has done for us. Thanks Ellis

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We work closely with Ellis and the team at Ellis Lake Group, regularly handling their waste removal needs. Ellis is extremely honest, reliable, and always a pleasure to do business with. The communication is excellent, and jobs are always handled professionally from start to finish. We have no hesitation in recommending Ellis Lake Group to our own clients whenever they ask for professional property services. A trusted partner we’re proud to work with!

Kept in touch regarding the appointment, pleasant but not too chatty 😊was very punctual and got the job done right and quickly what more could you ask for. Thank you to Ellis.

I contacted Ellis as I needed an urgent repair of my brick pillar that had been hit by a vehicle. Ellis was clearly experienced in my requirement and promptly organised a bricklayer who was totally professional and did a fantastic job of replacing the pillar. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Ellis Lake Group.

Highly recommend, had some blinds fitted and some furniture assembled. Both workman were great, would definitely use again.

We had the Bathroom ceiling repainted after a bodge job by another decorator plus silicone removed and replaced around the bath. Happy with both jobs so rebooked for another job which was time critical. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication and the person doing the job did not turn up leaving us to do it ourselves. It seemed that Ellis was not aware and it was only because I contacted him that he then knew. He did try to rectify by offering to come out on his day off but I had already done the work myself. Hence why still 5 stars for the work done. But really it would be 4 for communication.

We had a problem with our sink, they diagnosed, quoted and fixed the problem quickly and easily, so I’d recommend to a friend for sure.

Totally professional in every way, trustworthy, efficient, and easy to deal with. Reasonable price and excellent service. I would fully and completely recommend useing this company to all. I and am delighted that I chose them to carry out the necessary work required to my door following a recent fire door survey.

Excellent professional service! I used them to fit fire doors on a 6 bed HMO property following a council inspection. They did a fantastic job which has now been signed off by the council.

Rendered my front wall. Did a fantastic job. Very clean and tidy. Professional service. Thanks.

Kind and helpful. Keeping contact for future needs.

Ellis carried out several small tasks for us at a block of flats we manage, completing them quickly, efficiently, and at a very reasonable cost. When complications arose, he clearly explained the pros and cons of different approaches, ensuring we got the best value for money. We’ll definitely be working with Ellis again in the future.

We used Richard to complete a range of handyman services - including removal of wallpaper, painting and decorating, some outside gate repairs and fitting new wall and ceiling lights. We really couldn’t recommend him enough. His work is to a high standard and he is very reliable. We have struggled in the past to find someone that can do everything especially if you have a range of things in the house and garden that require repair. We will definitely be using him again!

Myself and my husband have contacted Ellis Lake Group Ltd 4 times and have not been able to get them to respond to us to book in a date/time to come do any work. The first time my husband contacted them, he got no response. He then chased and they told him they were on holiday and will respond when they get back, to which they didn’t. I then contacted them a few weeks later and sent videos of the work we needed to get done to which they didn’t respond. I chased and they said they were on holiday and would get back to me that week, which they didn’t. At this point this means they’ve been on holiday for over a month now. I honestly don’t know how they’ve got such good reviews when we can’t even get a proper response from them.

Great customer service, super efficient and very reasonable priced. Really easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

I am very impressed with Ellis & his work force..Very efficient & reliable & does a very good job

Ellis and his team responded to my enquiry to swiftly replace a damaged door and kitchen sink in a holiday let property that I manage. It was awkward because the work needed to be done between guests and prior to the owner returning to the property - this left us with a window of less than a day. This wasn’t a problem for them, the work was carried out extremely efficiently and to an excellent standard. Ellis couldn’t have been more helpful and he and his team will be my first port of call with any future works I might have. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Arrived when they said they would. Kept us informed. Did a great job. Very happy and certainly will be using them again.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -EFFICIENT, RELIABLE AND COST-EFFECTIVE. We had a small job that needed some attention, and after contacting several companies without success, Ellis responded right away with a quote. We quickly scheduled a convenient appointment. I was truly impressed with how thorough both Ellis and Paul were, and they even completed another job whilst they were here. We will definitely be using their services again.

We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out by Ellis Lake Group. They responded promptly to our query and were able to provide a price and date for the job within days. The quality of the work was excellent we would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again in the future.

Plastering services were requested from Ellis Lake Property Services to address holes created by a boiler engineer during a flue installation, as well as to install flue inspection hatches. I was introduced to Paul, who arrived promptly at the agreed-upon date and time. Paul's workmanship was of high quality, and I am very satisfied with the results. All holes have been filled, and the inspection hatches have been installed, effectively eliminating drafts in the hallway. I will certainly consider utilising Ellis Lake Property Services for any future projects. Thanks Ellis and Paul.

Very efficient and professional. Recommend to all.

A great service. Would highly recommend! Friendly, efficient and professional.

I can see why these guys have fantastic reviews. Paul was professional and it took him no time to build my tv unit and it's made such a difference. He dealt with the other bits and even cleared up. I wouldn't use anyone else in the future. Thanks guys and Merry Christmas.

We are very pleased with how the work has turned out and we will certainly be using you guys again for future work. Thank you!

Absolutely amazed by the job that was completed at my place. I asked for a quote for putting my gate up from the materials that I provided. The exchange of the messages was prompt and very clear for both parties. Paul arrived in the morning and the whole gate was built within two hours! Very efficient, tidy and polite service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that want the job done in high standard.

"I’m so glad to have finally found a handyman company I can trust. They completed each job to a high standard and even went above and beyond to help solve some tricky electrical issues. The quality of their work was excellent, and their services offered real value. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work."

I used Dorset Handyman to move furniture in preparation for flooring being laid. This was a very good service, efficient with no fuss and did exactly what was wanted. I was really pleased with the results.

My garden shed door had dropped and it was impossible to open it. Ellis came over and made a wonderful job of rectifying matters.i will definitely use them again for other jobs. He also arrived dead on time at 8 am. Very happy new customer.

Ellis dismantled a large sliding doors mirrored wardrobe for me to move to new premises. He labelled all sections and made a video for me to be able to get it rebuilt easily in the new place. Would highly recommend, excellent communication, arrived on time & a good price.

Excellent and professional service Would use again w

I had no experience of this company but was really impressed with how quickly Ellis responded to my initial request, agreeing a date and time and a price. Ellis and Paul arrived bang on time with clean vehicles, were pleasant and cheerful, very respectful of my home and carried out the work exactly as requested and then cleaned up the areas where they had been working. I have already agreed another piece of work on the strength of that first encounter and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

First rate service which I would fully recommend.

Fitted new cooker hood which included drilling hole to outside for the vent. Very pleased with the service and great to find a company that appears happy to do a job whether big or small. Highly recommend snd undoubtedly will use again!

This Guy fitted my Dishwasher, mas the connection etc in 1h, it’s working all perfectly fine. I have people around and told me they couldn’t do it. After 2years of washing dishes by hand I am very happy with this ☺️ and i highly recommend him Thank you

Very happy with Ellis’s work.

Very good, efficient service. Did a great quality job, will definitely recommend and use again!

Contacted on the off chance as I had read he had helped someone last minute who had been let down. As I was in this situation I enquired about next day availability. His response was it was his day off and if I sent photos he would quote a premium price? Sad to see this response as I have another larger project but could not trust where money prevails over all else. Tradesman decency at its finest

I had the lovely Ellis fit a dishwasher for me. It required an extra part to be connected that I was struggling to source myself and required a bit of muscle to move the unit. He was knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy and very efficient. I'd definitely recommend him especially as a single woman I felt in safe hands.

Extremely happy with the service provides. Very efficient, tidy, meticulous and done the work to perfection. Good honest prices and nice atmosphere. Definitely know who to go to next time I need help around the house! Best handyman services around Bournemouth in my opinion :) Highly recommend!

Ellis was absolutely fantastic at communicating and fitting us in quickly to complete a number of jobs at both my Father’s house and my own home. Jobs included re-laying patio slabs & fitting a curtain rail to name a couple. Could not recommend his services highly enough and we will absolutely be using him again in the future.

Quick to reply , price was as quoted , on time professional thankyou Ellis

Ellis is certainly one of the best all-around tradesmen that we have found. He is extremely professional, pays great attention to detail, is punctual, trustworthy and his rates are competitive. We would have no hesitation in recommending him and will certainly be using him again

Ellis completed several handyman jobs for me this week. He arrived at the appointed time and completed all the work very professionally . He is very personable and his hourly rate is very reasonable. He suggested further improvements and I will certainly be asking him to come back to complete these in the future. Highly recommended.

After being ghosted by many plumbers not wanting to do such a small insignificant job, Ellis did a super job, pretty promptly with great communication. Will def recommend to others 👍

Ellis was recommended to me and adjusted some fire doors in an HMO property. He did this in the timeframe (which was short) provided. He was punctual, reliable and completed the job to my utmost satisfaction. I cannot thank him enough or recommend him highly enough and I will definitely use him again.

I'm useless at anything DIY, so finding Ellis to help with some odd jobs around the home has been a god send for me. He has helped on smaller jobs such as hanging picture frames, installing a keysafe outside, installing a retractable washing line, to adjusting my fitted kitchen cabinet unit to allow for my new washing machine, which was larger than the original. Ellis is very particular in that he likes to get things perfect, nothing is too much trouble and he can turn his hand to most things in the home and the garden. I will definitely recommend and be using again .
