Green Light Electrical Installation - Ringwood

Really excellent service, keen, knowledgeable, skilled and arrived at short notice for an earthing issue. We were expecting an assessment and ‘Ok, we can do this in x days/weeks…’ - no … ‘We loaded the van with what we thought we might need to do the job: we can sort it for you right now!’ A couple of hours later and it was all done and dusted! Highly recommended! Have had them back a couple of times to do some scheduled work and each time they've been excellent, both in quality of work and on-site helpfulness. We've booked them in to do a lot more for us in the near future (moved into a new-to-us house which needs a lot of work) and they've even assigned us a project manager to make sure it all goes smoothly!. Highly recommended.

Pleasant and friendly team, Initially paid £530 for install of a circuit cable and tails isolation switch,? for a heat exchanger, when they left it kept tripping, engineer came out again , responsive team, issue sorted with C breaker due to sensitivity of the heat exchanger. Definitely use them again

Excellent service as always from GL Electrical

Very responsive and efficient - Their technician visited the following day and quickly identified and fixed the fault to ourelectrically operated garage doors

Having recently downsized within Dorset to a relatively large bungalow, found a rather 'wanting' electrical environment that was in need of serious improvement. The tasks included installing a previously owned EV charger, upgrading the 'fuse box', connecting a new induction cooker, adding numerous sockets, altering lighting wiring to provide logical switching options and ending with proper certification. Kelvyn and apprentice Jake worked tirelessly over many days, always cheerful and eager to please and technically, very neat and tidy work. Would be happy to bring them back if we get around to going solar and batteries etc.

Green Light Electrical fitted safety equipment to our gates The job was completed quickly , efficiently by a great engineer The communication between the company and me was first class and from initial contact to the job being completed was 5 days - amazing !

Super responsive and super professional - I've used this company for 3 jobs now and all have been impeccable.

An excellent and friendly service. Very knowledgable and greta at problem solving. thank you.

Great company, very professional and do what they say!

Excellent service & skilled installers. Definitely recommend. We'd had problems with another installer where the system never worked and they wouldn't help so we were lucky to find Green Light to put everything right.

The Green Light team did a fantastic job installing the electrics for our two sets of driveway gates. The gates are large and heavy and having them working electronically is so helpful! Nothing was too much trouble and it’s good to be able to use such a reliable local business.

great service and very helpfull in sorting my batteries for the solar panels , Jamie was very help full in supporting us and did a great job in installing

Effective communication, efficient service, competent team all round.

These guys could not have helped more! I had an electrical emergency that they put in a short/ medium term solution for then came again to complete a final resolution. I would highly recommend

Always top service. We use Green Light for all of our commercial works and will keep on doing so in the future.

Able to arrange a short notice appointment to replace old connected fire alarms with updated new connected ones, which needed some rewiring. Very happy with service and work.

great service would recommend

Have used Green Light for years. Always a professional job and good customer service.

Green Light Electrical installations were very quick to come to our rescue when a couple of spotlights in our ensuite decided to "give up the ghost". We phoned in the morning and a lovely lad was with us by lunchtime, and job completed quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them.

Quick reply to enquiry. A fantastic service. Very happy and would use again. Highly recommend.

Electric gate servicing. On time, thorough and knowledgeable. I was impressed that the technician remained so unhurried and thorough despite freezing conditions.

Absolutely brilliant service! Very professional, friendly team. We’re so pleased to have found such a reliable service for our gate maintenance and so reasonably priced… great value Would highly recommend

GLE did a great job diagnosing and fixing our existing gate system. They rehung the gate and aligned everything nicely, and the wiring in the new box is so much tidier than the old one. 👍

They dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently and we did not have any problem with the final outcome.

We had an issue with a circuit not working and in no time at all, GLE had identified the problem and came two days later with the necessary parts. They were quick and very nice to deal with and we are very pleased we contacted them.

The install team were great, the ground work compamny they contracted were very fast and tidy. I would recommdend using them for high quality gate installs.

The initial problem of a faulty circuit was attended to promptly and corrected. This did identify that some switch gear and circuit breakers were in poor condition and being now out-of-date, could not be repaired. As a second job, these were replaced the following day with modern equipment. Everything was done promptly and with good humour.

Rapid response, friendly and helpful receptionist, friendly and very knowledgeable engineer, reasonable cost what more could you want.

Excellent service, would recommend this company.

They serviced our electric gate. Was efficient and polite. No issues at all.

Great experience with the GL team. Helen in the office was very helpful and Callum who serviced our gates was incredibly professional

Thank you for the prompt response. Had my gate fixed very quickly. The gentleman who came for the job was very professional and informative. Very friendly staff overall. Happy customer. Nadine

Fantastic experience from start to finish. From the first site visit and technical specification/style-design decisions right through to installation and testing, there isn't a single aspect of the process or indeed team member I could fault. Apart from how helpful, experienced/knowledgeable and accessible everyone is what I appreciated most in working with GL was how transparent they were and how I was kept informed of every step of the process. Thrilled with the result and would highly recommend!

I contacted the company for an electric gate. Nick the boss came out and suggested a bespoke semi circular gate to match the existing fence. In addition the gate had to rise as the ground was not level. The work was recently completed after some angst and head scratching as it was far from easy. There were a few obstacles to overcome and times I thought it impossible. To everyone's credit they persevered and throughout Nick kept reassuring me that the gate would be finished as per the original design and that I would be satisfied. Well I am satisfied as I believe they have done a great job. The team of young men are a credit to the company. They were all polite professional workers. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We have used the services of Greenlight Electrical over many years including a complete rewiring of our house. They are always efficient and dependable and considerate. Much of the praise must go to Kelvin Green himself who always gives good advice and excellent service.

Great service and very high quality gate manufacturing with bespoke fitting. Very impressed with the whole experience and straightforward approach.

Excellent service to repair a fault on our electric gates. From the moment I called the office staff were very helpful and friendly. The engineer, Arthur, was on time, knew what he was doing, identified the fault and had it fixed really promptly then made sure it was all tested and I was happy before leaving. Very reasonably priced as well. Top notch service all round. I will recommend to anyone that will listen.

Great service, have used Green Light for many of our properties.

Had the pleasure of using their services twice now for our gates. Amazing. They went out of the way to help sort out the issues, friendly and professional. Thank you.

Just had solar system fitted with batteries and EV charger. I can honestly say that the service given by all at Green Light Electrical is extremely professional. The two engineers that installed the system Arthur and Jamie were polite, knowledgeable and very conscientious regarding the work they provided. I would definitely recommend them.

Quick to respond with an extremely professional and helpful electrician who identified the problem and proceeded to rectify it. Would highly recommend this company.

Having used GLE now for several years I am very happy with the friendly service they provide and would not hesitate to recommend them. They have been very flexible and understanding to our requirements. From electric gate installation and servicing, house and garden wiring, to cctv's.

Green Light has responded very quickly to all electrical issues, which include our recurring entrance gate problems, car park entry key pad, emergency lighting etc. Kelvyn' s next jobs are the safety control panel for our entrance gates, the building entrance keypad buttons and the car park lights. We tryst him implicitly.

Greenlight are the best on automated gates, we have trusted them with the care of our gates for 20 years and they have been amazing!

I recently moved into an old property in the area and used GLE to install new lighting, electric radiators, replace an old fuse box and generally sort out a lot of outdated electrics. I could not be more pleased with the punctuality and customer care I got from the team. Highly recommended.

I was recommended these guys by the company that made our new gates and am delighted they did so. Everyone I have had contact with at Greenlight has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They completed the original job they quoted for on-time, to a high standard and with zero dramas but what was particularly impressive was how they dealt with the curved ball (and frankly bloody stupid questions I asked !) that I threw them after they had completed that job. These guys know their stuff and go out of their way to help, can't recommend them highly enough. If you're fortunate to get Kelvyn on your job then I doubt you'll find anyone more helpful, knowledgeable and patient .... and a nice guy as well.

Nick and team quoted for and installed solar panels for us. Very helpful in suggesting options for us and devoted a lot of his time to liaising in connection with associated roofing work. We’ve been very impressed throughout with Nick’s approach and with the professional installation work done by Arthur and Jordan. Would highly recommend.

I contacted Green Light for a quote for Solar PV Panel installation at the end of March 2023, getting their name from the MCS website and being local to the area. Nick contacted me by phone for an initial phone chat and very quickly produced an initial draft proposal. We arranged a visit to our house to discuss it further and firm up proposals. Nick was punctual and very informative and very keen on Solar. All our questions were answered, he did a thorough site survey and I said we were getting other quotes, which he was supportive of. He then supplied a firm quote which included a consumer (fuse box) unit replacement at the same time. Whilst I was waiting for other quotes Nick was quick to answer any follow up questions we had. The quote from the company was competitive with others and at the beginning of April we accepted the quote and booked a date for installation in May. The deposit could be paid by bank transfer or credit card to give the extra protection under section 75. The Monday agreed on in May arrived and Arthur and colleague arrived to start work, scaffolding had been put up the week before. We discussed a change of location of the inverter and battery if possible and that was incorporated so both were fitted downstairs instead of in the loft. They both worked tirelessly throughout the week, arriving about 0800hrs and not leaving until 1630hrs and seemed to work through any tea and lunch breaks. The work was completed with little mess and what there was was all cleaned up by end of the day. We were expecting more visible wiring trunking, inside and outside but they managed to use the wall cavity to run the wiring from the panels to the consumer unit/inverter so the little visible trunking is all extremely neat and contained around the inverter and battery. The consumer unit change replaced 2 old fuse units and looks so much neater. Whilst the wiring was being changed Arthur wired in sockets so we weren't left totally without electric for the day it took for the unit to be replaced, a nice touch really. On Fri afternoon the work was completed, the Solar panels producing electricity, work area left clean and tidy. A minor issue with battery connectivity was soon resolved the next working day. All in all I would recommend Nick and his company for their obvious commitment to providing a quality service, who are professional, want to do a professional job, arrive on time and work extremely hard to complete a job on time and to a very high standard. A job well done that we are very satisfied with. Nick and his team are to be commended.

GL have maintained by Electric Gate for many years. A very professional service.

Great service. They came highly recommended. Good experience

I used Nick and the team to initially connect a EV fast charger, but then to provide a whole Solar solution. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a personal local service, where attention to detail and professionalism is highly valued.

Great service fixing my electric gate, punctual and efficient. I will definitely use Green Light Electrical again.

Installed new LED lighting system in offices and warehouse, upgraded fire alarm system, installed new illuminated emergency exit signs, new distribution board and tidied up all exposed wiring. Everything certified to meet latest Building Regs. A job well done by their excellent team of experienced and knowledgeable electricians. Competitive pricing. Highly recommended. Will use again.

Pat tested and 5 year electrical inspection at Stapehill Village Hall

Prompt arrival time very cheerful. Worked hard with a very satisfactory result. Would recommend this firm.

We used Green Light electrical at Linwood Fabrics - they complete any request efficiently. Can’t fault them!

GE electrical fixed a non working gate system that we ‘inherited’ at our new house, superb service and have also carried out additional works on the gates. Highly recommended

This is a Testimonial for Nick Green for the work he did on my offices, and the support that he has given some of my clients over the years. I have struggled with tradesman over the year and been let down on many occasions. It has been so refreshing to work with Nick and his team and know that when they say they are going to do something they book it in and it gets done. They give a fixed price and will always communicate if things are not going to plan. Would thoroughly recommend Nick and the team at GLE

Professional work and great attitude.

Reliable and professional as ever. Thanks for great advice and a great job.

Excellent work and service. Very helpful when we had an issue caused by our building company (not GLE). Will certainly use again for future electrical work.

Excellent service from this company. Initially used as an electrical emergency during the Christmas period, arrived very promptly even though they should've been closed, as all other engineers were. I am now using them to fix my electric gates. All staff I have been in contact with ( Office Manager, electrical engineers and the 'boss') have been extremely polite and very efficient. Electric gates now fixed. They continue to offer a fantastic service with very friendly and efficient staff. I would highly recommend them for any electrical job.

Paul was an good worker, punctual and his work was an excellent standard

A lovely family team with high standards and a great customer service ethic, high on safety and extremely reliable. I would recommend to my grandmother (that's how great I think they are).

Green Light Electrical came to the Lymington Save The Children shop to fit a new heater switch for the front door heater. Even though the work was carried out during shop opening times, it was done very professionally and without disruption to the customers or store staff. The site was left cleaner than when they arrived! Would highly recommend.

We have been using the team at Green Light Electrical for almost 4 years now and I am pleased to say they are one of the most professional electricians we use. Whether it is an electrical safety check, a rewire or a new installation, they are the team to use. Highly recommended.

Nick from Green Light has been absolutely top star! Highly recommended!
