Great service. I reported an issue on Friday and they had an engineer out by the following Tuesday! The engineer John was lovely and did a fantastic job despite all the challenges he faced. An unbelievably frustrating company to deal with. They seem incapable of keeping any of the appointments they make with me (I’ve now been cancelled on by them at least three times, once when I’d waited in all day at my Mum’s flat just after she’d died). Or they will spring appointments on me at the last minute when I have no realistic chance of getting to the flat in time. I cannot wait until I don’t have to deal with them any more.

We have a Lima Vita toilet and had nothing but problems with it. Since January (it's now August) we have had to have engineers out 5 or 6 times, and almost every part within the toilet has been replaced at this point. Our last engineer visit was this morning to deal with it leaking(again) and it no longer leaks, but unfortunately the wash facility no longer works. We need to now wait another 5 days without the wash facilities working for the engineer to come back. This is the 3rd time the wash facilities has broke in 8 months and it's typically a week at least before they come to fix it. No one in the company seems to have any understanding or empathy for the distress caused by the removal of the independence and dignity. Having had Closomat toilets for around 30 years we are now at the point where we likely to replace it for another brand due to the constant stress it's causing.

Richard, an engineer from Closomat, came today to commission the toilet. He let us know when he was coming, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My mother has a closomat toilet because she's a disabled pensioner that needs this type of toilet to maintain her independence. This was installed and is insured by vivid housing association. It has had the same problem twice now but the time length between has been vast. Two days ago (Thursday 6th march) the toilet began spraying the water very fiercely causing physical pain. Called both associations concerned and the excuse from closomat was that they didn't have a "purchase order" which we have no idea what that is. After receiving no response from vivid, they were called yesterday and a woman said she would send the job to closomat and someone would arrive within 24 hours. That was at 8am on Friday morning (7th march). As I sit here typing this it's now 11am on the 8th March and still no one is here. No phone call, nothing. You can't phone the company because no one is there. I sent a message through their website which probably hasn't even been looked at. My mother is now without a working toilet which means I now have to stay here so I can be here to help when see needs the toilet which is completely degrading. I fail to understand how a company can charge amounts of money like £300+ for potential repairs when there is zero customer service and no attention or consideration to urgent problems

Consistently appalling customer service, from both their Engineers and their office in Manchester. My toilet became faulty after the last service visit., and has stopped working completely for four days now. Closomat ignore emails/direct messages. And it's impossible to get through to them on the phone....the line just goes dead, then terminates the call. I'm currently unable to eat as a result of their appalling customer service.... As I'm severely disabled. I need access to my Closomat toilet. Your engineer has been out today - Monday December 2nd. He stated there was nothing wrong with my toilet, and I was probably sitting in it incorrectly. After he left, the toilet refuses to flush, with the water just running into the bowl.... At least my toilet flushed before.... I'm not without a flushing toilet.... The arm also isn't working properly.... It comes, sprays a miniscule amount of water, then goes back in.... Useless. I've spoken to your planning service.... They say the Engineer is refusing to return.... There is clearly a change in her attitude, then from when we initially spoke.... You've actually left my toilet in worse condition then you found it.... Now. Your claim to have escalated it through matter.... Yet, conveniently.... There's no manager available.

I have a toilet from closomat, this toilet decided to give OT from Hertfordshire, it is a plastic toilet with a brutal price!!! for me, the toilet is small and I keep peeing in the bottle, which is nonsense, I want to throw the toilet away and install a disabled toilet!!! the closomat toilet is unnecessary for me!!! maybe he gave it because he got something!!! why did they measure me???

Not a great experience. First engineers appointment for service was canceled without our knowledge. Managed to rebook another. An engineer arrived, did work, and left us without a usable toilet. Reported incident to Engineer on his mobile phone.. Not a satisfactory response. He tried to tell us about debris in the system and, how it will work it's way out. Spoke to customer service. Negative response. No Engineer available until the next day. We may have just caught them on a bad day, but terrible service has to start somewhere.

Service completed today by Richard, always a pleasure, a lovely gentleman.

The engineer explained what was going and how he was going to fix, put me at my ease which is very important to me as I suffer from cerebral palsy and iam a nervous person. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Made me more confident that the toilet will work better now as the fault has happened twice before. He couldn’t say for sure it wouldn’t happen again but that’s technology.

Had a closomat for a few years now and its reduced so many medical complication's that arouse due to disability. The team have always been fantastic! Very good excellent chap.Explainef all the problems and repairs required . The one concern was his industrial work boots. A bit heavy for a newly laid vynal floor. Can't blame John. It musy be health and safety at work. Perhaps sock on boots.

The Engineer from Closomat Richard, came out today to commision the toilet, he was really helpfull and knowlegable about the Closomat toilet, and all of its functions.He gave me reasurance, and advice about servicing the toilet. Richard is an asset to the Closomat Company.

Mike called to advise he was on his way and approximately how long he would be until he arrived. Upon arrival Mike introduced himself made friends with my dog, explained what was going to happen and most importantly had I used the wc and if I had any issues so he could make all the necessary adjustments required. Brilliant service once commissioned left the bathroom neat and tidy issuued certificate and business card and explained about calling if I experienced and problems. Thanks Mike you are a star.

Called Monday 19/2/24 and spoke a lovely Lady got the ball rolling by that night I had all the paperwok emailed to me for me to pay my plan did that and by today Wednesday the 21/02/24 I have an engineer coming out nedt Tuesday. ** FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BUDDY ** Had a visit from Buddy the engineer a few day's ago, to commission the recently installed Closomat toilet at my parent's home.. He had called ahead of his visit & before making a start to commission the toilet, he explained what he would be doing.. Buddy was very respectful in involving my parent's with regards to water pressure preferences etc & this really made them feel included.. Being elderly, people tend to talk over my parent's rather than include them, but Buddy made them feel included all the way through! Before Buddy left, he reassured my parent's that if after he left and they felt any settings needed to be tweaked, they could easily contact the company to arrange another visit.. Again this reassured my parent's! Buddy had a lovely manner, he was very polite & his customer service skills were on point.. Buddy was a friendly, respectful, thorough & a very smiley young guy.. I can't fault anything to do with his visit! Thanks Buddy 😊

Visit arranged for service without any consultation on what might be covenant. Engineer informed me of his arrival within 20 mins. I explained I might be a couple of minutes after this as I was collecting children from school. I send my son ahead yet the guy knocked, posted a card and rudely left.

Richard was the engineer that came out to put right the problems caused by the first engineer that carried out a routine service. Unfortunately that service rendered the toilet - washer, drier etc, completely unusable. Richard came in and introduced himself, listened to what I had to say and then went about the task. After he had finished he came and explained everything to me. How the mechanism worked and how he had adapted it to suit my needs and disability. Richard from Closomat has just been to repair the toilet but unfortunately he had to condem the toilet having tried his best as it was beyond repair. He explained what steps he took and what procedures will be followed to ensure that an upgrade is made. He was very helpful and sympathetic .

She discussed the options with regards to my specific needs and we came up with a solution, which I have to admit, I was not sure we would be able to do. I’ve been having problems with my toilet lifter for awhile and had to have a new part fitted, sadly it still had problems. The engineer came today I can only say he was outstanding, he listen to what I had to say about what was happening and explored every option to find out the cause of the problem…. The process from the initial text message to the completed service was very straightforward, Dave who serviced my equipment was very knowledgeable and explained what my problems with the equipment was, even though I didn’t know there was a problem, he was also very polite and nothing was to much trouble. Since Dave has serviced the equipment I now know what the problem was works 100% now. Great service from start to finish 10/10 👍

I had yesterday 9 February very nice and polite worker from CloseMat called Fletcher! He did excellent job and left my bathroom really clean! Thank you for sending him!

Had our yearly service today. As usual excellent. First time having Fletch who was very professional and a pleasure to speak with. Have never had a bad engineer from clos o mat. The office staff are also very understanding and amenable.

Today my OT and a rep from Closomat came on a planned visit. It was a really helpful visit and the rep Luke was really helpful and informative. Thank you

Fletcher who was the Closomat engineer today, was very friendly, did his inspections today. He was experienced and explained what he was doing and asked if there were any problems that needed to be addressed, luckily there wasn't. He left the area clean and tidy.

Please see my post from last month and Closomat's response. I highlighted my toilet has only been plumbed in for 2 years old and not working. I spent £3,000 and was quoted £307 +vat for a repair. I again phoned after being reassured I had been wrongly quoted. I spoke to Kim today who is adamant that I will have to pay the aforementioned amount. Shocking. Avoid at all cost, I wish I had bought from a competitor. Now thinking about seeing a lawyer as the product is 'not fit for purpose' after 2/3 years.

I can’t fault the engineer who does our service on the toilet but, I don’t agree with the idea of having to pay for a new toilet seat that is an accessory to be able to use the toilet when we pay an insurance to cover this. We do need a new toilet seat but, until I’m told that we don’t need to pay for it, we will not be getting one. Please contact me when you have agreed to let a toilet seat be part of the contract agreement.

Fletcher was friendly and very helpful, he explained how it worked as I had never seen a closomat toilet before I moved to the property. He also was safety conscious of my pet. Thanks Angela

Fletcher, the engineer who called today was really nice. He called to let me know he was on his way and was polite, and considerate on his arrival and throughout the follow up visit to check the toilet.

Great Service on our closomat toilet today. My mom was having trouble with cold air and water from the new toilet. We were contacted by closomat and they came out within a week. The guy called Richard came out and even made time to explain everything he was doing to fix the problem and now it’s working perfectly. I was really happy with his service.

What a lovely gentleman Eldin Topalovic is very professional, knew his job very well, explained everything to the finest detail. A very positive experience in a very delicate situation as toileting is. well recommended and a pleasure to deal with. 🙂

Richard was a polite young man who helped sort out our closomat toilet, he showed me that one of the ports on the PCB board had melted/broken and it caused a malfunction in the circuitry He updated the settings to the same as before and we discussed family life and nattered about Christmas plans :)

Discraceful company. I had a closomat installed last November still faulty. Technician (Peter) fails to keep appointments, cannot use Google maps and has a non working phone. Tony from the planning department is friendly but has been unable to sort my problem out. I have written to Sarah and Dave right at the top of the planning department still waiting to hear from them. Some people should not work with vulnerable people.

I had one these toilet fitted which wash and dry you (very ugly looking), the man who put it in should be sacked from his job, he put the trunking through the middle of my ceiling in bathroom, then he put a hole throught the wall into the hallway( I live in a flat) across the top of the bathroom door and the airing cupboard door down the side of the door frame .and across the top of the electrical socket it looks a real mess, next to the bathroom is the airing cupboard he should have put the trunking along the side of the wall drill the hole into the airing cupboard and down the back to the electrical socket, been onto cosomat over 4 time they will not come and repair it, they said get a electrician to repair it but I will have to pay for it.great customer service, not .

The man that came to see us about the toilet was very polite and friendly. Explained things in depth and showed us how the things will work.

In 2020 we purchased a Closomat toilet to be installed in a new toilet downstairs. My husband had MND. 6 months after the toilet was installed I sadly my husband lost his battle with this dreadful illness. The toilet is now nearly two years old. We paid over £3000 pounds on this toilet with no help from any organisations. On occasion I test the toilet although it has not been used as it should have. It no longer works. I phoned Closomat this morning and was informed there is a £ 350 call out to fix and service the toilet. I am a widow and cannot afford this. It saddens me that this cost so much when the toilet itself was so expensive and it has hardly been used.

I had a visit from your engineer called Tony who was excellent, he came few times before, he is very professional and good at his work, he repaired all the problems with my clos o mat which was leaking and he also adjusted the water pressure. Banane

A great engineer named Tony just left, has ordered a new pipe as he suspects the one we have is leaking Did a temporary seal fix (leak confirmed by plumber who said it’s dribbling after each flush). I have to chase this straight away and get it booked & fixed pretty quickly.

Fitter damaged part while fitting our Closomat, new part was ordered and fitted without any problems, company kept in touch by phone to keep us up to date. Can’t complain about the service.

The engineer who came today (sorry, I can’t remember his name) was so professional, and thorough. He originally came to just do a service, but found a couple of faulty parts that had to be changed. He had the parts, and was able to fix it. He explained everything that he had done too! We are very happy. Thank-you, to your engineer.

I had a visit today from Antony, who has been a great help to me. He repaired the fault, which the previous engineer did not do - he left after about 2 minutes which I knew was not going to get the issue fixed. Also as Antony did his job properly, he found that the side panel was cutting into the waste pipe, which was causing it to leak, coming out under the toilet. God knows what would have happened without Antony finding the problem! Thank you so much for being so cheery and doing your job properly!

Falls prevention through bathroom design. I would highly recommend these informative CPD sessions which are FREE!. This was a great session which applied OT theory and best practice to support falls prevention in bathrooms. Lighting, colour contrast and flooring all add into the mix. Check out the recording.

The engineer Tony who visited us was friendly and helpful. He was patient and answered all our questions. As my mum was having trouble using the push pump, he told us about the Proxy Switch which we are thinking about getting installed.
