Arc Electrical

Steve did extensive electrical work for me recently on my old Edwardian-era house. He installed a completely new socket circuit (on its recommended own circuit breaker) for a first-floor large bedroom, containing a mixture of normal and various types of USB double sockets, while also safely disconnecting some old redundant sockets and wiring in the same room. All his work was of very high quality, with new sockets being located exactly where I required them, and safe provision made for an extra socket in a future fitted wardrobe. He negotiated the tricky challenge of bringing new power up to the first and second floors without impacting old coving and house features with great skill and ability, using external ducting which was a very neat and tidy job. At the same time, Steve also installed an external Ring security light/camera over the front door on its own separate spur circuit, patiently helped me to set up communications with it from my phone app. I am now very pleased with this additional security feature for the house! Steve also installed a new circuit breaker and double socket for the second storey level. Steve is a very skilled, knowledgeable, approachable and tidy electrician and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical work. I already plan to have him back when I am ready to complete electrical work on the top house floor next year, if I can get some of his very valuable time then 😊

Steve was recommended to us by word of mouth and proved to be excellent in every respect. He was prompt, communicative, reasonably priced and very professional as well as being very safety conscious and trustworthy. He wired a garden room and replaced a fuse board for us in the house and we would have absolutely no reservation in recommending him to anyone.

Steve was a really pleasant and trustworthy professional. He listened to what jobs needed doing and offered us various options. The fan in bathroom NOW works a treat and he made an effort to keep everything clean and tidy. He fitted us in before christmas which was really appreciated. We'll definitely use him again.

We can't thank Steve enough for the work he has done in our kitchen, Steve has done a fantastic job, very respectful and clean. Would highly recommend Steve at Arc Electrical for any electrical work needed. Thankyou Steve 👍.

Steve is professional, extremely conscientious and always punctual. I highly recommend Steve.

Steve is very easy to work with, is happy to explain things to you and takes time to do a very thorough and neat job. He is polite, punctual and very professional. This put us at ease and we were very happy with the service and work undertaken. Much appreciated.

Steve did a great job for us recently, rewiring our utility room. Moving sockets and relocating the light switch to an adjacent wall was all complete to a great finish. He even clean up after himself which was great. Would definitely us him again and recommend him to others.

Really happy with the work Steve carried out. He came over and discussed options and we booked in at a convenient time for us. Work carried out professionally, efficiently and to an excellent standard.

As a full time working family finding reliable and professional trades person hard to come by, Steve's communication was accurate on time and clear. I don't often feel that a trades person would remain on the job until they and the client is happy, But with Steve he would.

Steve was a pleasure to deal with. Turned up on time on the days agreed. Wired in saniflow and lights for new bathroom, first and second fix and provided certificates for building regs. Highly competent and fits good quality gear.

Steve was great from start to finish. Listened to what we wanted to do with a full rewire of our house and new installs and offered best guidance on how to achieve. Work was done tidily and to a high standard across both first and final fixes and we are both really happy with the final results. Steve has made sure everything is safe and up to code and the finished job looks great, more than happy to recommend

Steve did an amazing job - he is highly professional, worked so hard, left everything clean and tidy, the work he did was done to the highest standard and very reasonably priced. He is everything you would want from a professional electrician, I would highly recommend him.

Exceptional service from Steve who came out to give a quote and gave us our options. Once we hired him, He was incredibly thorough and worked hard to keep to time. Though he was fast, his work didn’t feel rushed, and as he was doing error checking before replacing the consumer unit, he kept us apprised as issues came about. So grateful he was able just to problem solve to get us what we wanted - a bathroom extractor fan and safe wiring in our house. We’ve had a number of tradespeople over recently who felt compelled to tell us their life stories and political views. Steve was absolutely not like this. He wore a mask, kept his social distance and didn’t interrupt us. He was also incredibly tidy and kept the house clean as he moved around it. We felt so comfortable that on the day he turned off the electricity fully, we left him alone at the house all day with a key. We won’t hesitate to have him over to do any future work and urge you to consider him if you need work done at a fair cost and to a high standard.

Fast and professional service. All work undertaken was checked out to make sure it met standards and very clear on requirements. Good advice given to help. Replaced a bathroom light and fan and installed three additional sockets and fixed another one. Reduced the quote as it hadn't taken the time thought. Never had that before. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service and quality of work. Steve came out and completed a replacement isolation switch on the same day that I posted the job. He adhered to social distancing and wore a respirator and gloves throughout the work and completed the job to a high standard. highly recommended

We got Steve in to move some sockets and fit some new ones but he soon discovered that we needed a complete lighting rewire which he carried out very professionally and with minimum disruption. He also inadvertently discovered the source of a leaking pipe which we had been puzzling over for months so we will forever be grateful to him for that! Steve is a very thorough and diligent worker and I can highly recommend him.

We had Steve to do some electrical work outside putting lights in the garden. Did a brilliant professional job at a great price. Nice to find a someone who knows what he is doing. Definitely will use him again. Thank you Steve.

Steve recently carried out some minor electrical work, a full test and safety inspection to provide a electrical safety certificate on our property. From first contact to completion Steve was very thorough and helpful, very informative and provided an excellent service. Will be recommending him to my friends and family.

Steve, was very thorough and pointed out a number of issues with our wiring. He explained in detail what needed doing and charged a fair price for his work. He is competent and very punctual , would recommend

Would highly recommend Steve at Arc Electrical. Very happy with price quoted. Work was done to a very high standard, neat and tidy worker, would definitely use again.

Steve fitted an external power cable to our garden studio, fitted sockets, connected air-con units. Very professional, always on time and keeping you informed about work progress, all fitting done very neatly. I would strongly recommend for any electrical work.

Steve (Arc Electrical) fitted us a double outdoor socket and an outdoor security light. he also fitted down lighters in the garage facia at the front of the house. all the was done to a high standard it looks very neat, he pays a lot of attention to detail. he gave us all the relevant certification. we would highly recommend him

Will use Steve for any future electrical work. Competitively priced and work to a good standard. Very prompt with returning quote, keeping us up to date with progress and always turned up on time.

On a recent garage conversion to a garden room/office we contacted Steve at Arc Electrical having been let down by another contractor. Steve responded very quickly and supplied a very reasonable and detailed quote within a couple of days. This included advice on how the job should be carried out which included improving the electrical supply and running a separate cable for a car charger. Apart from the great advice we received the quality of the work was to the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble. During the course of completing the work unrelated potential problems were identified and quickly rectified and made safe. We are delighted with the work carried out and would have no hesitation in using Arc Electrical for any future domestic electrical work Graham Stubbs

Steve was friendly, reliable and did a nice job at a good price :) I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done.

A professional and quality service throughout. Steve was flexible in offering to complete the work either side of us having a new kitchen installed. The work done was very tidy, non-disruptive and pricing was extremely reasonable. An excellent and honest service and would definitely use again in the future.

Steve Howe is one of the most meticulous and conscientious tradesman I have come across. His standard of workmanship is high and he worked extremely hard when rewiring our kitchen to achieve this. He was also very helpful and went out of his way to install an extra cable in case we needed it: he made an extra visit by fitting us in within a busy work schedule. He discussed his plans and consulted us to make sure that what he was going to do suited our needs. Steve is a friendly person and is pleasant to have around. His price was fair for the amount of work he did. He comes highly recommended.

Excellent job, friendly and reliable. Lovely to come home from work to a nice clean house. Highly recommended, we will be using his services again. Thanks Steve

Steve is an absolute star, I needed him to do an urgent job, he came same day. Very polite and did a great job. I would highly recommend him for any electrical job. I will certainly be keeping his number. Thanks Steve much appreciated.
