AW Electrics Sheffield Ltd

Excellent company would definitely recommend. All works were carried out professionally and with very little disruption, from 1st survey right through to installation. Engineers were polite, professional, efficient and extremely tidy.

Aw electrics made some improvements to our solar installation - fitting bird guards and rerouting cables. It was a neat job, wish we'd got them to do the original installation

Very good service, pleasant knowledgeable installers. They workied efficiently and left everything tidy. I am pleased with my installation.

Customer service diabolical “Charlotte” the apparent manager extremely rude, unprofessional and aggressive

AW Electrics did an excellent job. Very professional, clean and tidy. The solar panel and batteries are working well and the electricians talked through the process to explain how to monitor them via the app. 10 out of 10.

David did a super job- above and beyond what I could hope for Previously likewise Simon the same Mike the boss has been immensely supportive and really gone out of his way to help at every stage A superb installation and 5+ star service I can thoroughly and unreservedly recommend this company not only for installation but after installation support

Excellent experience with AW Electrics: installation discussed in detail in advance; work was carried out efficiently; system commissioned and explained. Would certainly recommend.

AW Electrics were very good. Electricians arrived promptly and worked hard to instal the battery and inverter. They were very friendly and polite and we would recommend the company for reliability and doing a good job. They discussed options and answered our questions fully. The electricians were tidy workers and they did a neat job. We were pleased with the installation process.

Just used AW for an electric home car charger, previously used them for solar panels. Both experiences have been excellent. They came recommend to me and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone in need of there service. Dan

The service from the guys that came on the day was nothing short of perfection! They were polite, friendly and incredibly professional throughout the day, the full solar installation on took just over 6 hours and the team were communicative and supportive all the way through. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, the work was completed to a high standard, the site left clean and tidy, they took all waste away with them and even hoovered up after themselves! Will definitely use the team again for any electrical work, highly recommended!

Excellent service very professional Came out finished same day.

Two lovely young men fitted a battery system to our existing solar panels. Efficient and tidy work. Very pleased indeed.

Really fantastic service - thorough advice about solar battery and EV charger; understands and explains the system well; really good and timely communication; reliable and professional team.

Excellent service. They fitted the battery to our solar system iin good time, despite having to get the heavy thing down difficult cellar steps. Very helpful people.

Excellent customer service start to finish. Mike, Adam and Michelle have been quick to respond to queries and been happy to answer all our questions. The solar panel installation was at a good price and the installation process was minimally disruptive. They have also accommodated a few individual requests we had in addition to solar panel installation, e.g. helping rewire some light switches and plugs. Overall couldn't ask for for a better experience really.

Excellent prompt and freindly service. Made everything very easy and answered all my questions. Good value too.

Excellent! Brilliant customer service. Good advice about solar battery. Very efficient fitting. Would absolutely use them again.

Mike and the whole team were great from start to finish. I didn’t know much about solar so they talked me through it, and did some additional work while the scaffolding was up. 100% recommend on a works and communication perspective and the solar is now making money instead of me spending it on electricity! Great local, reliable business

Enquired about having solar batteries fitted to complement my solar panels which were installed 12 years ago. Adam came out to do a site visit to establish feasibility and the best place to fit them (Our garage which is some 4 metres from the side of our house). The quote with 3 different battery options was with me within the week. I chose a Luxpower ACS 3600 inverter with two 5.1KW Hanchu batteries and I thought the pricing was both competitive and fair. An install date was arranged for 15th April (within 4 weeks of the first visit). The equipment was installed neatly and professionally by the AW Electricals team of Simon, Mark and Mike. One part of the installation involved running around 10 metres of RJ45 cable from the garage, under a path, along a fence, around the corner of the house, over our porch and through a very thick stone wall into the cupboard under our stairs to capture the amount of solar energy being generated by our panels so it could be displayed on the monitoring system. This was done amazingly neatly. The system has now been working without any issue for over a fortnight. I would look no further for a solar company in the Sheffield area.

A great company to get Solar Panels fitted from. The whole process from quote to fitting has been very efficient. Their quote was competitive, all my questions were answered quickly and the fitters and electricians were great, very polite and helpful. Thank you

Had battery installed by the AW team. Excellent client facing attention and works carried out in an incredibly tidy and timely fashion. Thanks very much team!

Thank you for looking after me! Your customer service is exemplary. Everything from first contact to post installation was perfect and my case was complicated indeed. I could not have chosen a better company. You guys rock. Six stars if I could.

Posted on Christopher Chapple's behalf: The AW Electrics team are extremely professional and provided a superlative service. The technical work was carried out expeditiously and expertly with minimal disruption, and the technicians involved were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The team is all very responsive and supportive. I am delighted with the installation and can unreservedly recommend them in relation to the installation of a battery system for a car charger. Undoubtedly, I am sure these comments would apply to any other work they carry out. They have an excellent reputation here in Sheffield as an installer, which is well deserved!

AW Electrics installed solar panels and battery storage for us at Wesley Hall in Crookes. They were really helpful at every stage, from quotation through to installation, and the project was completed on time and for the quoted price. I would highly recommend them!

This was installed in June 2024. After an initial communication breakdown, I then got good support I required to understand the system and how it works. I highly recommend Adam, Mike and team. Mr. R. Middleton.

I engaged AW Electrics to retrofit a Givenergy storage battery and inverter to an existing roof mounted solar pv system. Their representative Mike visited my property carried out a survey and advised me on the system best suited to complement my existing setup. Their quotation for the work was competitive and once accepted they gave me an installation date which they were able to bring forward due to a cancellation. The installation work was carried out with care and the system was commissioned by Mike the following day and is working exactly as intended. I have no hesitation in recommending AW Electrics for installing solar generation/storage systems. GJH

Brilliant service from start to finish. Adam helped us choose the best Solar setup for us, then waited patiently as we resolved some planning permission issues due to our flat roofed house. Once that was sorted, we agreed a fitting day and Mike and crew arrived that morning and we were up and running the same day. Highly recommended, thanks so much.

The installers arrived when expected, were polite, carried out the installation efficiently and left everywhere tidy at the end. Now it is all working at least as well as expected. Excellent service

Solar Panel Installation. I cannot praise AW Electrics enough from Adam who came to survey our property and determine its suitability; to Wendy in the office ; to the team who came to do the installation. Adam sent very comprehensive quotation information with options for us. The installation team were thoroughly professional, extremely hardworking, cheerful and friendly. We were kept informed throughout and given choices about certain elements. All the packaging was cleared and taken away and our property left tidy. Afterwards an issue was very quickly resolved and was monitoring over a period. From start to finish we felt very glad we had chosen such an excellent company.

If you are looking for a Solar Panel installation at home then look no further than AW Electrics! I cannot speak highly enough of the prompt, professional and friendly service provided by Adam, Mike and Michelle. From site inspection, fully detailed prospectus, predicted output, correction for shading, through to a full quotation with breakdown of costs, all information was provided promptly with no pressure to accept. Having accepted the quotation, the installation proceeded on time and was completed in one day, even though the scaffolders were late! I am delighted with the result - the equipment is functioning as predicted and even on a cloudy day, I am drawing almost no current from the grid during daylight hours, and the battery continues to supply most of my usage after dark. Brilliant! This is a great company to do business with and I highly recommend them Well done AW Electrics!
