J D Electrics

Jim and his team were amazing! They were very knowledgeable and efficient, and took the time to talk us through the work needed to get the wiring in our new home up to standard. They completed the work quickly and to a high standard which allowed us to move in without needing to stress about the electrics at all. We had a great experience with them and would recommend 👍

I'd definitely recommend them. Great work by the guys. They gave a quote before coming and helped with finding the correct replacement radiator, which saved a lot of hassle. Then when it was fitted they stayed to make sure it was working correctly.

Great work by Jim and team. The level of detail and communication was second to none, along with a detailed quote. Works carried out promptly. I would very confidently recommend J D Electrics to others.

I was introduced to Jim through a colleague and gave him a call—he very kindly managed to fit me in at short notice. He replaced my bathroom lights and fan, and the outcome is absolutely fantastic. Jim provided a professional, reliable service throughout, and his workmanship was excellent. I will definitely be using JD Electrics again in the future and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Mo

Jim and his team attended our electrical issue really quickly, and helped understand the issues before giving us a really reasonable quote with no expectation to book in with him. They sourced our lights for us, checked in throughout their visit about how we would like the light settings and advised us on lighting options to ensure we chose safe fittings for areas such as the bathroom. The team are all so friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks again. Will definitely use these guys for any jobs in the future. Nick and Jem

Excellent service from Jim and the team at J D Electrics new set of kitchen spot lights installed very tidy quick efficient work very reasonable price Thank you

I phoned Jim first thing this morning as we were having problems with our electrics. By midday, he had sorted out the problem and explained what had gone wrong. He was friendly and cleaned up after himself. Jim made sure that we were happy with the job and we encountered no more problems (followed up with a call later that day) before accepting payment. Very reasonably priced too. Delighted to have found a new local electrician to save to my contacts for when needed! Thanks 😊

Jim provided exceptional service, went above and beyond to ensure all my lights were functioning properly. He. completed the job with meticulous attention to detail, leaving everything clean and tidy. I feel very confident in his work and will definitely will call him back. I highly recommend him for any electrical work.

The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend JD Electrics and Jim more if I tried! I’ve had them come and do a couple of jobs, very reasonable rate and have managed to fit me in on short notice on both occasions. Jobs were completed to the highest standard by friendly guys who were tidy and polite. I recently called Jim for an emergency issue and whilst he was unable to fit me in, he advised me to the best of his ability and even called back to check up on us and see if we’d got it sorted. Brilliant Company, Highly reccomended first class workers - on time - Two visits to fit wall lights - made no mess - not expensive. John Kay, Higher Broughton

Tried to sort a socket face myself, made a mess of it! J D Electrics came out within 15 mins and sorted it for me, which is wonderful as I have a small baby and needed power!

Jim was brilliant, professional, friendly and did a fantastic job with replacing a faulty socket. He was on time and communicated well I would definitely recommend J.D electrics!

Great and professional service. 100% recommended.

Excellent service and advice

Good selection of stock, great price and helpful staff.

Jim has just been to install an oven for me - he replaced the cooker outlet and installed the oven. He charged over £30 less than it would have cost to get the oven installed by John Lewis (who supplied the oven). He also trimmed down a drawer for me using a handsaw and file as the drawer was out of alignment and stopped the oven door from opening, which is over and above as he could have left that for me to sort out. I called him on the Saturday. I sent him some photos of the plug and a switch and he quoted the same day. He arrived on time on the Tuesday having called 30 minutes before to let let me know that he was on his way over. He managed to do the job without turning the power off at the mains. He is a very nice chap and we had a good natter while he worked. He also swept up during and after. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone and he's definitely now our go-team electrician. Brilliant service, really nice man.

These guys just rewired our whole house and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. It's messy, noisy, disruptive work but they've done everything they can to make it as painless as possible. We were able to work from home the whole time, which no other company could do for us (in fact others asked us to leave the house for 2 weeks!). They also came out within 20mins the next day after when an alarm engineer needed their help with something. Would recommend to anyone and will use them in future!

First class service from Jim at JD Electrics. He was able to squeeze me in at very short notice and provided a professional service. I will be using JD Electrics again soon. Great to find a local and reliable electrician. Many thanks.

I contacted J D Electrics Stretford to reposition the cables for my living room lighting. They visited my property to provide me with a quote and carried out the work the day after. The price was very reasonable and the job was taken care of in a very professional manner. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends in the future.

Had to call an electrician out on NYE as I had a circuit breaker fault. I rang up JD Electrics who said they would be out within the hour. Can't fault them 10/10 service for coming out at 10.45pm on NYE when noone else would

So glad I found JD Electricals. Jimmy came round to look at my lighting issue on the day that I called. He rang me back shortly after with a quote and then came to fix my issue with his colleague, Dave. Excellent work. I’m really pleased with the cost and quality of work. I won’t need to look elsewhere for an electrician in future and would recommend Jimmy to family and friends.

Jim from J.D. Electrics has just installed some new light fittings to our home, and carried out some general much needed electrical repairs. No job is too small and it was a pleasure to work with Jim who is friendly, efficient and carries out work to a very high standard. We'll be getting him back to change all the light fittings in the other rooms soon as the light fitting showrooms re-open to the public. I'd thoroughly recommend J.D Electrics!

I had an emergency this morning with a smoking kitchen socket when I turned on my tumble drier.. It was a different socket that was smoking! I looked for a local stretford electrician with good reviews. Jim arrived within 10 minutes and explained the problem and had me back up and running with 25 minutes of arriving. I was extremely impressed that he came so quicky, as I was very worried about having no power, and the smoke in the kitchen was very frightening. So i would highly recommend him. Also he did not overcharge me or try to get me to do necessary electrical work.

Excellent service, does exactly as quoted. Would definitely use again, and would recommend this Company to friends and neighbours. Graham Potts

Jim replaced 2 light switches in my kitchen and fitted a new security light outside my front door just over a week ago. I have been recommending him to neighbours and friends since- totally reliable, and very reasonable. Thanks Jim!

Rung Jim after encountering a problem with my bathroom light fitting on a Saturday morning. Due to other commitments he told me the soonest he could be at my house was 9.30 Monday. And he was there ! Professional, friendly, very quick in sorting the fittings, clean, and reasonable prices. I cannot recommend him and JD electrics highly enough. Jim's number is all you need to know for electrics.

Jim is very reliable and professional. He identified and fixed all the problems in the electric circuits in my house. It was a very pleasant and stress-free experience.

I contacted JD Electrics through Care and Repair. They responded quickly giving us a good quote they carried out the work after one week. They worked quickly cleanly explained everything that they were doing. They were a pleasure to have in our home JOB WELL DONE. 4/4/2016

I had an electrical emergency contacted JD Electrics and Jim was here not long after, friendly and understanding He identified and fixed the issue very quickly, reasonable price. Recommended. :)

I contacted JD Electrics via their email contact form and I soon received a return phone call from Jim. He came to our house to quote us on the work we wanted to have done and then JD Electrics quickly responded with an itemised email detailing where our money was going. On the day, Jim arrived on time and set to work on the bizarrely wired light fixtures in our house, explaining what was going on and dragging them quickly and safely into the 21st century. He also managed to fit all of the plug sockets we wanted, making sure they were properly secured, unlike the previous ones! The thing which makes this a 5 star review instead of a 4 star one is something which happened towards the end of the job. I noticed two plug sockets which we hadn't spoken about but I wanted to turn into two double sockets. I knew Jim wouldn't be able to do this on the day but I asked him anyway. He drove out to get the necessary parts and sorted it there and then. I am very impressed with his work and thoroughness - a great piece of mind when we've just bought our first house and haven't much idea about the state of the electrics.
