Ben and his team carried out a full rewire, first and second fix on a project I was carrying out in London. They provided a first class service and I’ll undoubtedly be using them again on my next project.

We’ve had electrical work done by Ben and his team several times over the past five years. They were recommended by a friend in our road, and I know other neighbours have also used them. In particular they were very helpful and considerate in doing a porch light installation for an elderly lady in our road to whom I introduced them. The latest booking was provoked by an outage which happened suddenly during a dinner party. Guests had to leave a bit early which was fine for a week night. But not so good for the contents of our freezer… I messaged Ben four minutes after midnight. He replied at 7.06am offered a 9am appointment. Hayden duly arrived and did a good bit of detective work. I’d pointed him to the garden having installed a light made by Terry at Chiswick Lighting for my ‘Echo and Narcissus’ sculpture two days ago which I thought was the culprit… In the process he discovered a chewed, smoking, and sparking cable for the decorative lights in the garden - foxes and rodents like the taste of something in the sheathing… Hayden fixed the problem and was gone by 10am. Freezer contents saved and me blame free! I recommend Ben Brooke Electrical highly.

BB Electrical were able to send someone at very short notice. Hayden did a really thorough job - he was friendly and explained everything he was doing really clearly. He also provided advice on things that could be improved if wanted. Would definitely use BB Electrical again for any future electrical work.

I’ve used Ben Brooke electrical for several small jobs and last year for replacement of all my spotlights with LED lights. Oliver was the usual electrician. I find them reliable, professional and very pleasant to deal with. I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Recently Ben’s team has replaced a very old gas hob with an induction hob. That involved advice and installation of a new fuse box and a cable through cupboards and kitchen units. The team, led by another Ben was very professional and I am delighted with the results. Ben has saved the day again! Replacing all of our consumer units (from 20 years of various jobs on the house) getting everything up to current day standards and issuing us with our much needed EICR Electrical Certification…and all with a smile on his face! Had to have the electricity cut off and two builder’s sockets installed. Nice clean install, which is pleasant to see done even for something temporary. Turnaround was quick with a call on the Friday and the job done Monday. London prices, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

I had Ben recommended by several neighbours to fix my bathroom lights that hadn’t worked in almost 4 years and to PAT test my son’s coffee stall. We’ve used him and his team for at least 10 years from a rewire of our entire house to installing lights in the garden and the office. I used Ben after I'd got into problems with my own DIY attempts to replace a light switch that turned out to have far more complicated and peculiar ancient wiring than I'd ever seen before. Although it was not an emergency call-out, Ben's colleague Allan was able to come to the house later that same morning, and very quickly fixed the problem and actually made a neater job of re-positioning the switch. In short, excellent service, very polite, friendly and professional, and I would not hesitate to call Ben whenever I need any more electrical work in future.

I urgently needed a visit to my flat following an urgent issue with the lights reported by my tenants. BB Electrical really helped me! First of all, they arrange for a visit straightaway and within very short notice. Secondly, they identify the issue quickly and resolved. I found them very honest, the issue turned out to be much simpler (and cheaper) than what the agency told me it was going to be. Really honest company that saved me time and money. Ben and his guys have over the years redone the electrics in my office, and several electrical jobs throughout my old flat and recently carried out an inspection on my new house. I find them very reliable, honest and got the jobs done on time and were a lot tidier than anyone else we've used in the past. These guys are def worth a recommend and I'll be getting them in to do my full rewire soon, Thanks guys.

After Ben Brooke Electrical installed gas and water bonding, we decided to hire an electrician recommended by our surveyor to carry out further work. It turned out that while the water bonding had been done, there was no sign of the gas bonding. I emailed Ben Brooke, sent him pictures and he spoke on the phone to our electrician, however his only offer was to fix the job himself (adding that if he found it had actually been done by his electrician, he'd charge a call-out fee). In order to get signed off under one certificate, we invited Ben to do the job while our electrician was on site, but he wasn't available. He did offer to come round afterwards but we would have had to call back our electrician (at our cost) to sign off his work. We did ask for a refund of £100 (job cost over £300) but this was refused.
