Capital City Electrical Services

Capital City Electrical Services recently installed an EV car charger for me. The guys were superb and the work carried out was of a very high standard. Would highly recommend this company.

Despite so many issues with the electrics, the guys were so professional, helpful and did a great job fixing the previous owners botched job. Very reasonable priced and delighted with their professionalism. After the initial job, we got them in again to do further work. Totally recommend

Excellent company , pleasure to deal with from start to finish! Identified an issue whilst completing the job and explained it clearly and concisely . Reasonably priced would definitely use them again!

Dangerous and irresponsible drivers

Great service from Louise at CCES! He fixed our storage heater within an hour and also sorted out the mess left by the previous company, who took months.

I recently had a home EV charger installed by CCES, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and professional. Not only was the price incredibly reasonable compared to other quotes I received, but the quality of the work was exceptional. The electrician was friendly, punctual, and worked efficiently, ensuring everything was installed neatly and to a high standard. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the clear communication throughout the job. I felt informed every step of the way, and they completed the installation in no time at all, leaving everything tidy when they finished. I highly recommend CCES for anyone looking for reliable, reasonably priced electrical work, especially for EV chargers. Top-notch service!

Great service for my house from Ricky that works at Capital City Electrical services. He came on time, did a safety check [EICR +PAT] and everything was fine. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Back in January we had CCE out to install recessed kitchen lighting, wire up our garage for electricity and install lights in there, add cat5/6 cable in the house for home networking plus install solar panelling and associated battery. Every job was done meticulously and six months on we have not had a single issue. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any job given their high level of professionalism.

Steven and the team have now fitted an EV charger and a solar panel and battery system at our house, on both occasions work has been carried out on time and to a high standard with the team being friendly and polite while they're working. Steven provides helpful advice on the best way to install the systems throughout, thinking through the best way to route cables etc without disrupting the house! Thoroughly recommended.

Title: Exceptional Solar Panel Installation by Capital City Electrical Services! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of hiring Capital City Electrical Services for a solar panel installation with batteries, and I must say, the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Stevie and his team are absolutely first class! One of the standout qualities was their exceptional punctuality. They arrived exactly when they said they would, showing their commitment to their customers' time. The thoroughness of their work was evident right from the beginning. They conducted a detailed assessment of my property and energy needs, ensuring that the proposed solution was tailored perfectly to my requirements. What impressed me further was their transparency in providing detailed quotations. Every aspect of the project was laid out clearly, allowing me to understand the scope and cost breakdown. This level of professionalism and transparency gave me confidence in their expertise. The installation process itself was seamless. The team worked diligently and efficiently, ensuring that every step was executed to perfection. What's more, they left the premises cleaner than when they arrived! The fact that they tidied up after themselves demonstrated a respect for my property and a dedication to delivering a complete and satisfying service. The solar panel system with batteries was flawlessly integrated, thanks to the expertise of Stevie and his team. Their knowledge in this field was evident, and they answered all my questions with patience and clarity. It's not every day that you encounter such a skilled and friendly team. In summary, if you're in need of electrical services, especially solar panel installations, I wholeheartedly recommend Capital City Electrical Services. Their punctuality, meticulous assessment and quotations, attention to cleanliness, and overall professionalism truly set them apart. Stevie and his team have earned my highest praise, and I couldn't be happier with the result! Thank you, Capital City Electrical Services, for a job well done!

Solar panels and batteries installed and no hassle at all. The roofer was good and the electrical work was neat and tidy which were the two things I worried about with the other suppliers that I looked at. Stevie was very responsive and answered all our queries. An established and reliable company that do what they say.

Recommended to me by a friend for a solar Installation and I have to say, they were amazing to deal with from start to finish. They took plenty of time understanding our usage as a family and planning the install accordingly, and now the system is live, I can see how much this has paid off. I haven’t paid for electricity in the six weeks it’s been in and have made over £100.00 back from export as well. The guys always turned up on time the work is all really neat. The roofer even fixed a couple of panels and removed a load of old sky coax cabling for us while was working on the roof. They also took the time to monitor the install and make a few final tweaks over the first few days. Really happy with the work and saving a small fortune. Very Happy

Stevie, Chris and Jay were/ are an absolute delight to deal with. Such a smooth installation of my solar panels and battery. Helped me understand everything I need to know and continue to do so. Also, very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend Capital City Electrical Services for solar panels and electrical work.

Steven and the team installed a car charger, solar panels and a battery for us. They arrived when they said they would, did a great job and didn’t leave a mess :). Steven was happy to provide advice and support throughout. Five star service.

We had the most amazing service from Capitay City Electrical Services in the installation of our new Solar system with batteries. From quotation, pre install to commissioning and even post install. Staff were friendly, professional and nothing seemed too much trouble. Also fantastic price and would highly recommend CCES.

Did a great job installing EV charger (EO mini-pro 3). Reliable and professional, would definitely use Capital City Electrical Services again.

Stephen at CCES did a great job with our EV Charger Install. It wasn’t straightforward but they adapted and gave a great finish to the install. Would highly recommend.

Had Steven install an EV charger for me, great service at a great price. Steven was happy to answer any questions I had and completed the work quickly but to a very high standard. Thanks again!

Capital City Electrical Services did a brilliant job rewiring my flat. They provided a clear and full quote for the necessary work, avoiding false economies and also avoiding the expense of work I'd suggested but which was not really necessary. They provided the quote quickly and started work soon after I accepted it. Their workmen were hard working, polite and friendly, and they cleared up thoroughly after themselves. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the work they did was top quality. The price for the work was fair and reasonable. Their boss was easy to deal with, helpful and keen to please. It was a delight to deal with this firm, and I will certainly use them again. Highly recommended.

Steven was very helpful both the guys were neat and tidy. A good job done with no fuss.

I was looking for someone to install a car charger for me. Steven at Capital City responded straight away to my call and we extremely helpful talking me through the process of installation and applying for the grants available. He fitted us in the following week and as I was at work when he came he rang me and sent photos of what he was doing to make sure I was happy with where he was putting the charging point. I can't recommend them enough as they were extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use them again for any other electrical work that I need done.

Steven and his team installed our EV charger, great comms, great service and excellent quality work.

The guys at Capital City Electrical are spot on. The installation of my Tesla Wall Charger was slick, clean and affordable. They were professional and on time and helped me link it to the car. Highly recommended

Emailed them with an enquiry about wired internet access for a domestic property, they didn't even bother answering.

They should wear 10 gallon hats and ride on horseback !!

We used Capital City Electrical to install spotlights throughout our home. Steven was quick to come and give us a quote with the work carried out shortly afterwards. The whole team were extremely professional not to mention clean! Will certainly use them again

When I called them about installing a new electric shower, they offered to come out later that day to have a look. An installation date within a week was offered. Very efficient.

It is impossible to call them. Therefore it is a useless company.

CCE did a great job rewiring my whole flat over a very short time-scale at a reasonable price. Thank you CCE!

I've used Capital City's services a quite few times and they've always been excellent. They're reliable, quick and good value for money. Not to mention a really friendly bunch who are very down-to-earth. All in all, I can't recommend them enough.

Called capital city electrical as needed new lights in throughout my property. They were fantastic, from wiring the property to the finished job great value for the price and an excellent job. Would most definitely use them again can’t recommend them highly enough.

Steven and team just completed a full re-wire on our house. From start to finish, they did a great job. With a competitive quote, and good recommendations on where stuff could go/what would work best, they completed the fairly mammoth task with little disruption to the house. Thanks guys :-) Highly recommended if you’re looking for reliable, friendly and professional electricians in Edinburgh!

We used Capital City Electrical to do pretty much a full re-wire of our house. The guys were really helpful in the run up to the job by telling us what they will do and what we can do to make the job easier. Things like moving furniture and clearing rooms. Some flooring had to come up but they managed to keep this to a minimum which was great. The end result was excellent and very price competitive. Stevie was on hand after the majority of the work was done to resolve some snagging issues really promptly. Good communication during the job as we were on holiday and always easy to get hold of. Would definitely recommend.

The team at Capital City Electrical are great and I would highly recommend using them. They've done a couple of jobs for me over the past few months, from sorting out lights in stairwells to ensuring all checks/certificates were in place for renting my flat out. They are very reliable and their pricing is competitive.

I had several minor electrical jobs needing done around the flat. I'm relatively new to Edinburgh and Capital City came recommended, and they didn't disappoint. The guys were very friendly and helpful, and even fixed a few non electrical bits and pieces outside of what I requested. Will definitely use again!

I accidentally blew my fuse box (and nearly electrocuted myself in the process). After a recommendation from a friend these guys were over within half an hour and took care of the offending electrical sockets and replaced everything that was fried. Not only were they friendly, they were very informative about the wiring in my flat. I'd highly recommend them for any electrical jobs or fitting and they will be my first port of call when need more electrical work in my home. (and not just electrocution)

I couldn't recommend Capital City Electrical highly enough. Stevie and his team completely rewired our house and were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Nothing seemed a problem and the work was of the highest quality and incredibly neat and tidy. They have since been back to do other jobs and never disappoint. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Spotlights put in, new sockets added and existing sockets replaced. Capital City Electrical were very professional and did an excellent job. They gave good advice on other electrical work that we needed doing and were always very courteous and able to be flexible around the plasterer and decorators that we had in too. We would highly recommend Capital City Electrical.

Ricky and Steven carried out the necessary testing for my flat to comply with regulations and changed lighting and fitted smoke and heat detectors. They both understood what I needed and worked in a tidy and considerate fashion. On another visit a problematic heated towel rail was not easily fixed but Steven, and then Ricky too, persevered until a solution was found. They have called very quickly after I contacted them on each occasion. I would thoroughly recommend them - I will certainly use them again. Thanks Ricky and Steven

What an excellent job Capital City Electrical did installing our outside lighting. We will definitely recommend and use again.

I have used this company since 2010. They have done a whole re-wire on 2 flats that I own. They are very experienced and do a great job. They supply all the necessary paperwork to comply with legislation. They have recently put in wired smoke detectors required now by law in my rental flats. They are also very reliable and trustworthy as with my rental flats I just provide them with keys and they get on with the job themselves. They tidy up after they finish and are very polite and get on with their work to a high standard. I will be using them in the future for other renovations and work on my flats.

Had a full rewiring of our 3 bedroom house. Dreading getting that amount of work done, but the whole process was very painless. We lived in while the work was getting carried out and had the use of some electrics during the whole time. Very clean and they did a very professional job. Would certainly recommend.

Great service - repaired our cooker switch two days before Christmas - a great relief & reasonably priced.

we needed an emergency bit of work done in our business. Capital City Electrical came very promptly (as promised) and resolved the issue without any fuss. We will use again

I was highly recommended to use Capital City Electrical & I was not disappointed. Very happy with work, reasonable priced & work completed within timescale.

I tried to fit a light myself & all my lights went In process. electrician came out same day & resolved problem. Excellent service & value for money. I will be keeping their number for future & recommending to all my friends & family.

I had Capital City Electrical round at my house this morning moving sockets up and installing new ones in my hall. I thoroughly recommend them on price and service.

Excellent service from Capital City Electrical - thanks guys! I can't recommend them highly enough. Carried out a full rewire of our 1930s bungalow and we are delighted with the result. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently, with no mess or rubbish left behind. The finish is spot on and exactly what we asked for. Definitely be using them again for our attic conversion.

Fantastic service. We recently purchased a new home, which needed a full rewire due to the 40 year old electrics. After phoning for a quote on the Friday, work began the very next week and all completed within the advised timeframe and on budget. We are very pleased with the standard of work that was carried out, and will definitely be getting in touch when we finally build our extension! Highly recommended
