Paul did work for me yesterday, installed new fuse box and sockets moved and new sockets in bedroom also had issues with old wiring found problems and sorted out. Paul was upfront about costs and any issues he found, explained things clearly and how to sort problem. Both Paul and Nick friendly, very tidy and clean working practice, carpets put back perfectly all work completed quickly and efficiently. Also provided certificate without need to keep hassling for it which it have found with some previously used work people. Thanks Paul and Nick. Will be using again when needed Good job done. Paul quoted and fitted for a at home car charge point. During the quoting stage he was very professional and highly knowledgeable. He explained everything up front and did not shy away from being transparent about costs, benefits and drawbacks. When fitting the charger he tired up early ready to go. He cleaned as he went. Was happy to give updates and communicate progress but at that same time was happy to just get on with the work. The level of finishing was great and everything was just as he quoted. We were lucky in that the job was more straightforward so he even finished early, leaving no sign of his presence except a well fitted car charge socket ready to go. Would definitely recommend and would happily have him and his team back.
Highly recommend Paul @ Helix Electrical, great communication from the start, efficient fairly priced and pleasant to deal with, No faffing around, work also complete to a high standard - Very pleased. 10/10!
Literally life savers. Responded the quickest to a tripped fuse board which turned out to be thermal damage. Dealt with the issue and fixed works carried out by other companies to ensure fuses complied with current regulations. Did the job quickly but thoroughly and explained everything they found along the way in layman’s terms. Honest, quick and reasonably priced, I know who to call now.
We were absolutely delighted with the service provided by Helix Electrical Limited. Our main fuse box required updating and the service provided was excellent from start to finish. Exceptional workmanship undertaken with the minimum of fuss. We will certainly be using Helix Electrical for all of our electrical needs going forward - Highly recommended.
Reliable. Punctual. tidy. Polite. Four little words that say a lot. Paul and Nick rewired my house, fitting a new consumer unit and hard wired heat/optical/co detectors. Made good all the chases in the walls to a high standard. They had a plan and each day told us what was happening tomorrow. I made a couple of changes to the original plan but it was sorted no problem. Would recommend and will use again.
Very knowledgeable, He guided us through the whole process of our property rewire, giving advice as & when needed.
After extensive investigation fixed problem of intermittent power cut out by partial rewiring etc
Excellent service, highly recommended
Power was shut off for a time as switchboards needed changing in totallity.Further work was carried out to add a number of double and triple sockets. All work was carried out conscientiously and courteously and when completed was explained in ordinary terms what had been done and why or why not as the case may be. Alkl involved acted with fine professionalism and will be invited again should further alterations prove to be necessary.
Paul was very prompt in responding to my request. He visited my property to discuss my requests, sending a quote for the work requested and a date planned. He arrived on time and carried out the work efficiently. Would recommend to anyone needed electrical works done.
We recently used Helix, to carry out a range of electrical works on a room conversion project. In addition to providing a thorough and highly professional service, they were also happy to offer advice and guidance on some other queries we had, and presented a wide range of potential solutions and pricing options. We would certainly recommend them, for anyone looking for a highly skilled and professional service.
Paul and the team at Helix recently did all the electrical work in my garage conversion. As always they were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They will also be doing the electrical work in my new summer house next month. I would happily recommend the Helix team!
I have used Helix several times and their work has always been of the highest standards. Paul maintains an in-depth knowledge of the regulations and makes sure that everything he does conforms with the regulations and best practice.
