Blackmore Electrical Services

Best electrician. Richard was here on time. Performed diagnostics and resolved the issue whilst explaining it all very clearly. Very reasonable priced, would definitely recommend. My go-to electrician from this point onward.

We are recently new home owners and haven't really been responsible for electrical installations before. Rich did an exceptional job at explaining what work was recommended and then executed that work with out a fuss and on time at a more than reasonable price. Will definitely be using his services again.

I was so impressed with the service from richard and company. I explained my problem. I was given a fair price. Told somebody would be out Monday. And true to his word my job was completed to a very high standard. I would recommend this company. Well done and thank you. Kelvin cousens.

I really honestly cannot recommend Richard and Bailey at Blackmore electrical, they fitted my car charger in April and what a fantastic job they’ve done, I was so impressed I had them return to fit an auxiliary outdoor socket for car charging. Another great job performed by Bailey. Due to a Wi-Fi router rest required (wiping the car charger) richard came out today and reprogrammed the charger within 5 minutes, amazing service and customer support from a fantastic team. I’ve found a reputable reliable company for all my electrical needs, thank you so much Richard and Bailey at Blackmore electrical I will recommend you all day long.

Absolutely recommend Blackmore Electrical services. Just purchased a hybrid and was at totally loss with trying to sort a home charger with my energy supplier so I went on line and made an enquiry with that I got call shortly after from Richard who explained what he could do and even came around to check our set up before quoting. I had an idea what the cost could be and it was within my expectation. The job was completed in a timely manner and looks very neat and tidy with the wires tucked away, so discreet my husband didn’t even notice it when he came home. Richard was so friendly and helpful would recommend for any electrical needs you may have.

Came out at less than 2 hours notice, did a quick efficient job of sorting all my light switches. Very friendly. Good local business and a very good price.

Richard was absolutely amazing, worked over the weekend no extra charge. Brilliant service and was extremely professional and kind. I had three other electricians before Richard who could not fix the problem. Richard fixed the problem and was great value for money. I do not normally write reviews, but in this case, highly recommended. 10/10

Many thanks for the car charger Richard. Excellent work.

Fantastic. Rich was prompt to answer my request for information for supply and fit of an EV charger. Gave honest and comprehensive advice during a visit to quote. Arrived on time as promised, very clean courteous and more than anything, professional. Went above and beyond to get us set up and charging. If you need an electrician, you need look no further.

High praise for the service provided. Very friendly, explained everything clearly. Good work ethic. Tidy workers, everything cleared up on completion. And all done for a competitive price. No hesitation at all in recommending Blackmore Electrical Services for the installation of your home EV charger.

I recently had an electrical installation completed at my property by Blackmore Electrical Services. The whole process from estimate to completion was completed very efficiently and professionally to a high standard. Richard was very knowledgeable about all electrical regulations, procedures and legal requirements. I would have no hesitation in using his services or recommending him.

Rich was excellent from the start. I was reserved about buying an EV before knowing a charger could be fitted without damaging our old house. He reassured this could be done and delivered in this 100%, even staying on late into the night to finish off on a Saturday. 100% recommend Dave

Very professional and helpful electrician. Would highly recommend.

Richard is really helpful, knowledgeable and professional. His attention to detail is excellent and does not mind giving advice. He is flexible and I would highly recommend his services.

Super efficient even out of hours. Thank you.

What an excellent service.. sorted out tripping RCD at short notice and didn't charge the earth..squeezed me in between jobs coz I was anxious. Lovely guy. Highly recommend.

Honestly recommend this guy to anyone he was so fast at coming out and doing his job amazing service

What can i say. We were getting a new kitchen in and needed to move some electrical items. No one remembered to check if there were sockets for new places. Phoning around we were getting no answers, not until next week, next year even. Richard was a God send, he came round the same day to look at job and came back next day to do to a degree where the kitchen fitters were able to progress and come back at a later time to finish. The pricing we were very happy with and have already discussed a future job with him…

Called as my RCD switch had tripped and couldn’t get it back on. Answered immediately and talked me through locating locating where the problem was which meant I could get the fridge freezer etc back on. Super helpful and patient with an electrical numpty like me. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again if I needed work done. Thanks a mill 😊

Excellent electrician. Wired my new kitchen. Really pleased with all aspects of Richards work .

Richard Blackmore provided me with excellent service - his initial response was prompt and noticeably helpful and this was followed by a fair price quotation and a timely appointment date. He arrived on time, set about the work, completed it to my entire satisfaction and tidied up afterwards. We discussed a few other electrical issues around the house and having done some additional testing he offered sound advice that avoided unnecessary expense. Statutory paperwork for the original work and an invoice for the agreed amount (with no charge for the additional testing) arrived later the same day. In short, Richard attended to every aspect of the transaction with conspicuous professonalism and I recommend him accordingly. It is a real pleasure to have come across someone who provides such outstanding service.

Richard was quick to respond, assessed the job and said he can do it, but after a week no response with a quote or a date, I found this extremely unprofessional and disappointing with no response from any of my messages.

Called him twice and he called me back even it was his out of working hours. He came and checked my fuse box. He is a good man and responsible person. Highly recommended.

Very happy with installation of my new electric shower/ Thank you so much.

Spent hours conscientiously tracking down our faults. Decent rates too

Rich was very friendly and very professional. Quick response when messaging and was always punctual. Very fair pricing as well, highly recommended.

Richard rescued us on a Sunday when we lost all our downstairs lighting. He was able to resolve the faults and get our lights back on. This is the second time we have used his services and we cannot fault his workmanship. He is such a nice guy and we can thoroughly recommend him for all electrical services.

Had our TV mounted above our fireplace. Very professional and great clean quality of work. It looks amazing!

A great service provided by Blackmore Electrical services. Have used multiple times and would use again. Was really helpful during my kitchen replacement - offering sound advice and working well with other service providers to ensure a speedy, stress free replacement. Highly recommend.

We first used Blackmore Electrical services 12 years ago on our house build. He gave fantastic advise and offered ideas which was exactly what we needed at the time. Since then he has been involved in many other ventures - most of them challenging and he has always found a solution. We have recommended him to numerous other people, who have always shared our view that once you have used Blackmore Electrical services you will never need another electrician. He also only drinks water, no tea or coffee!

I contracted Richard to do a number of jobs for me, all of which were done with the upmost professionalism and high standards. He installed all of my lighting on the ground floor, in every room. The kitchen, in particular, was cumbersome as my initial electrician didn't finish the job. First fix was completed but didn't indicate where the wires for the 14 spotlights were located behind the plastered ceiling. By looking at some pictures I took by chance and a bit of creativity, Richard managed to locate the position of the wires and successfully install without any unnecessary damage. I later asked him to install lighting in our garden and we couldnt be happier with the end result! It looks fantastic with all of the wires hidden away discreetly! Excellent, competent and friendly electrician that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
