AFFORDABLE Fencing & Landscaping

Poor patio installation and left with loose bricks. No hard core base loaded and ended up having to have an expert correct it . Would not come back to fix it and answer calls etc (A ghost)

If you want a professional job done then look no further than Dan. His work ethic is second to none whilst being very professional throughout when he replaced our fencing. I will definitely be using him again.

Really great job I am so pleased with everything, thanks Danny and the team for a fantastic job!

I contracted Dan to do wood fencing around my garden and he delivered as he promised, with top quality, affordable and within time. Dan is very courteous and he easily built the trust required between a good trademan and his customers. He responds swiftly to any requests, queries or questions presented to him irrespective of the time you reached out to him. I am very happy with Dan's work and I will always highly recommend him. Cheers Dan 🥂

Great job from Danny - fence looks brilliant Good price and he’s a nice bloke

Good value. Quick and professional installation. Thanks Dan.

Dan and his team provided a competitive quote same day , once booked they turned up on time , completed the job quickly and cleared up taking away the old fencing too It was 30degrees the day they came but they just got on with it! Would use them again and recommend Dan's services.

Shocking workmanship, dreadful time keeping and he avoids your calls once he has your money. There's a reason why he doesn't give his full address on the website - so he can 'avoid' you when you're chasing him to put the job right

Really pleased. The job was completed quickly and efficiently and it looks great.

I work for Yaxley homes estate agents. I come across this company online. The work which we asked to be carried out was to a high standard and good quality. Dan was extremely friendly and responsive throughout the process. Would definitely recommend and use your services again.

Dan replaced a number of fence panels and posts, he also recovered our shed roof. We found him to be efficient, hard working and honest. The job was completed as promised, on time and to a very high standard. We’d have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Dan and has team have just replaced my old fencing with new panelling and also fitted a custom made garden gate. I am very pleased with the result which has transformed my garden and I am very impressed. The personal service was impeccable and nothing was any trouble at a reasonable price. I I would have no hesitation to recommend this company to anybody else and glad I made the right choice. Well done Dan many thanks. Robert Dean

Fence looks great. Work carried out promptly and as described. Great communication and customer service. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Daniel got the job done well and on time. Once I told him what I sort of fences I would like, he set a date and it's all done with pictures provided.

Fantastic Job Dan priced the job up for me which was very reasonable.Dan and his colleague Warren started and finished my new fence with no break off days and made a fantastic job. I can easily recommend them and I would definitely use them again. There was no mess, no fuss and no problems. Great Guyys from the initial enquiry to the end result Dan and Warren were always on time and kept me informed, what more could you want. I wish them all the very best ! I will recommend them to anybody and everybody i know. Nice people deserve to do well Thanks again Dan Take care Robin Middleton. Dedham 😊👍

Left several messages which were never returned

Very friendly, helpful, did an excellent job. Would recommend them .

Affordable fencing did a great job installing a new fence after the storms. They were easy to deal with and responded quickly to communications. We highly recommend them.

Good quality build.chatted through what I required and only took 1 and a half days to erect 8 panels, posts and gravel boards. Cleared away all old fencing and left tidy. Would use again.👍👍

The company responded very quickly to my request for a quote. Indicative pricing and timings were quickly gained via photos and then an in-person review quickly turned into a booking. Pricing was competitive, very personable and well explained. The job was booked in, and the updates on the progress of the work were regular and professional. The final job was clean, excellent and finished to a high standard (my daughter has reviewed it as 'snazzy'). I would CERTAINLY use this company again.

I used Dan as was recommended by friends, Dan sent a great chap called Tony to work on some damaged fence posts after a storm. All fixed super quick and at a very fair price. A+++

Sorted a few jobs out very quickly, nice and helpful service.

Seriously the loveliest guys who did an exceptional job for me at a superb price. So kind, helpful and professional - I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and they tidied up afterwards too! Absolute heroes xx

Dan (and Warren) replaced our very rotten fence and did an excellent job at a very competitive price. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan; he's completely honest, reliable and works incredibly hard. We will definitely be getting Dan back to do a few other jobs in the garden. Many thanks to Dan and Warren for doing such a professional job; our front garden has been transformed!

Okay. I have to be honest and truthful I don't often leaves reviews of companies but on this occasion I have to. I run a great landscaping company for many years myself, I am now retired and unfortunately not able to do any work myself so after looking around at many companies and asking for recommendations I found affordable landscapes and fencing Dan is an honest upfront no quibble person after his work was finish . I could only say I couldn't have done a better job myself , that is something coming from me. GW landscapes and paving contractors traded for over 48 years to the general public in Essex. So i can only say you've made the right choice . Enjoy you garden like i am.

We had Danny round from affordable fencing and landscapes to install a fence in our back garden. He was friendly, reliable and affordable. From start to finish we can’t fault him or his work in any way. He even done extra and didn’t charge us. We are absolutely over the moon with everything he done for us. Thankyou :D We’ll call you in the spring for further work we need doing.

Used for a big job and what can I say the whole job has not been done professionally I’ve asked nicely to return to make right and has just buggered off with the money Avoid at all cost

Dan has just completed the removal of my old worn out fence and replaced it, along with putting up a set of bespoke wooden gates. I couldn't be happier... very honest and professional....would definitely recommend to anyone.

Attempted to get Affordable Fencing & Landscaping round to quote for a custom gate. The visit was confirmed, and then they just never showed up and didn't respond to my messages. Thanks for wasting my time, guys. Someone else will get my money.

Very pleased with finished fence and gate. Dan worked hard to complete the job on time, was always very pleasant and stuck to his competitive quote dispite rising cost of materials. We would recommend him and his work and would definitely use him again.

Danny is a lovely, super friendly but moreover genuine person who wants to do the very best for you. He's honest and does exactly what he says he will. He has provided 1st class fencing and also took on additional work by laying a gorgeous patio area plus made safe another small patio area. I am more than happy to recommend Danny.

I used Dan’s services for a small job in my garden. He came round and gave me a quote the day I contacted him and 3 days later did the job. The fence looks great and I would recommend Dan to anyone. A very happy customer.

Would not know how good they are as they never returned my phone call. Hate it when they do that. Phoned on 29 March

Completely thrilled with the work that Dan has carried out for us. Our new fence has exceeded our expectations. Professional, hardworking, quality and honest are the words to describe Dan. Ignore all negative reviews as he is 5 star. He has already done 10% of the homes on our small street and other residents are looking to book him also. Cleaned up all mess and got the job done so quickly without cutting corners. Will be calling on him again!

Excellent job undertaken by Daniel very professional, built the fence & gate on site cleaned & tidied up after completion. Would definitely use Affordable Fencing again.

Danny & Tony relaid a large area of limestone slabs. The edges of the patio are very curved but they managed to make a brilliant job of cutting the slabs to fit. One day of the job it rained all day but they kept working and still kept cheerful. We would recommend them to anyone. Also you won’t beat the price. Reg & Joy Wickham

AMAZING in every area. I had a neglected large garden and Dan came in replaced the large fence (12 panels), built a 30ft/13ft concreate base and completely re turfed the rest of the area. The quality of work and hard work from Dan was OUTSTANDING. In a time where a lot of companies are charging over the top prices, Dan's price was extremely reasonable and he also kept to his promise of beating any quote i had. Dan was always adaptable to my needs and gave professional advise on what would make the garden look better. I would absolutely recommend Dan to anybody and will be keeping his number for any future work.

Managed to fit me in at the drop of a hat, great work done really happy and would recommend to anyone love my new fence

Useless, terrible work.

Dan did our garden fencing specifically to our needs. He did a great job, he was very professional, polite and worked hard to get it finished as soon as possible. Would highly recommend and we hope to see you again in the near future :)

Affordable Fencing have undertaken a large project for us, fencing in a three acre plot. Could not recommend them enough, very help full and professional and all at a market leading cost. Well done Dan, good job. James M

DO NOT USE this company. Avoid Avoid. Daniel ripped me off for £425.00. I sent him the money for materials but he has not carried out the work, no comminication and I can't get hold of him by calls, texts or emails. I have now found out he has done this before. Police are now involved. Avoid to save yourself being scammed.

So far I’m happy with Dan and his work he was on time for his work and I liked the way things done as long as work strong enough I will have him again and recommend to the others

Good communication. Arrived on time and was very professional and tidy. Would use again without hesitation.

Dan is responsive, professional and reasonable price. Efficient work and didn't damage my garden vegetables during the careful work (veg are next to the post), even helped me to clean the garden weeds and watering my veg at the end of work🤩

Dan started a job today and finished this evening, he’s done fencing and many other jobs for us within the last year. I could not recommend this gentleman anymore, he is timely trustworthy and a great tradesman. A five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review from the Robbo’s.

Dan did not only build a good fence he also helped calm down my neighbor who was not happy were the fence was going, my hero !

This is the second time I have used Dan for a fence, this time front driveway concrete posts and wooden fence. Always on time, excellent work and a nice guy to come and work at your house. Would always recommend him.

Dan did a great job of our fence panels, they look great considering the really uneven ground we had to work with. Would recommend to anyone looking for help with their garden! Thanks, Dan!

Excellent

Would really recommend! Dan was really nice and did exactly what he said he would. He worked fast and did a really good quality job.

Dan was great! Can’t fault his professionalism and quality workmanship! Would definitely work with him again!

Dan did a great job at a great price. Can recommend.

Dans a lovely guy, honest, punctual, efficient. The price was good, the work was great and he cleared up after himself. Got the job done really quickly.

Very happy with our garden fence Very responsive quoted on the same day that I phoned and job started and completed by the next day Very good price and our garden is now dog proof (much to our neighbours delight) Very professional service thanks 👍🏼☺️

Dan did an excellent job installing our new fencing, would definitely recommend!

Couldn’t recommend Dan enough absolutely love the fencing he’s completed in our garden he was here when he said he would be and didn’t leave until he work was done. His prices can’t be beat and we will love having him back to finish off the rest of our garden with a new patio and steps in the new year.

This man did work for me up until then he seemed like a nice person then out of the blue sand no reason changed ..he took money from me to do another job which he said had ordered the material and needed the money upfront ..since then I have neither the money or the material ..having repeatedly asked where either was ..and asked where the material was so I could pick it up no reply .again I asked then I said would take legal on this as I see it was theft ..his reply was 'I'll get ur proxy stuff when it's in leave me alone else you dont know what I mite di ' which means he hadnt ordered at all but has kept the money .after 2 weeks I'm none the wiser still out of pocket and has blocked me so I cannot contact him ..beware dint touch him with barge pole seems nice one minute jeckle n hide .all I wanted was my money back or the material I am now seeking legal advise to stop this man doing this to someone else..which looking at some of the reviews he has ( ) ..not a good reputation to have

He did a great job. Friendly and helpful if had any questions. Great prices. Going to use this company again for more work

Dan's latest update is the fence he just completed in my garden.. Not sure about many negative reviews but his workmanship was spot on and he done what it said on the tin!!! Very happy with the final outcome and would definitely recommend Dan too all those who want some garden, patio etc done. Any future work I require will most definitely be going his way. Keep providing what your good at!!!

completed my decking lovely at a really reasonable price. Recommended to my parents and completed an absolute shocking job. Put an edging around the decking to cover up shoddy work, didn’t finish the job properly, overcharged and then charged £300 for an extra day when two of the days already paid for only turned up for an hour and doesn’t work full days any way only about 11-3pm. Recommended to a lot of people when we had our work done and would only say ‘stay clear’ now! Mum and dad had to pay over £500 to get their decking rectified on top of the absolute fortune charged in the first place. Price doesn’t become a problem when you get what you paid for but in this case we didn’t! We have tried contacting Danny consistently and he hasn’t responded and even come off what’s app where we have tried to get the job finished / rectified so I won’t apologise for this post.

Ok so the people on here who have had a good job done by a reliable man all I can say is your dam lucky, I am a single mum with absolutely no connections with Danny before he says I will beat him up or I'm a ex or any such garnish. I am a very unsatisfied customer who had very very poor workmanship done by him, he arrived late every day, build my fencing around tree stumps, over disused wire fencing, and attached my fence to my shed instead of following my boundary line, he left the place a complete mess and didn't even fix the back fence to anything. He stole my late father's wheelbarrow and when I asked for it back he brought me a tatty old one, he charged me for lots of things he didn't provide. I have gone to trading standards which he knows about, I'm also going to the police for theft. If you don't believe I can send you photographic evidence. Oh and just to say that after I sent him a copy of my letter to trading standards he changed his website and photos etc. If you know him please ask him to reimburse me for what he took but didn't use, I paid him well over for the job he did and would just like some money back and a apology.

Dan said and did exactly what was needed, work he goes at like a dog with a bone. No praise high enough.

Dan is a charming, helpful and reliable gentleman who works very hard and offers great value too! We cannot fault his workmanship and can highly recommend him and we will certainly use him again.

A really good job on our pathway and excellent value for money.

Poor workmanship. Demands money up front, and don’t expect him to come him to come back for any remedial works.... avoid!

Danny is a really friendly and genuine guy, his work is professional and affordable, he really cares about his work and customers. Will definitely recommend him!

Danny was excellent. Great job on our garden that had looked like a building site for a year. Reliable, friendly and knowledgeable, knew exactly what he was doing and got the job done! Would highly recommend Thanks Danny!

Great work by Danny! Responded straight away to quote request, got the job done brilliantly plus extras. Even threw in a packet of doughnuts for the kids. Great value for money, will definitely be asking him back for further jobs.

Had a patio extended by Danny. Which I messaged and got a response within 20 mins and he arranged a meeting and quote within an hr. did take 2 days to complete due to the hard ground and bad westher. Also Danny done extra jobs for nothing extra. Really friendly guy

If you want fence panels and posts that move about, a mess created left in your garden, unreliability and ignored phone calls, then this is the man you need to use. Avoid him unless you want to be out of pocket. If in any doubt, ask why no-one in Colchester will give him a trade account. Those who have had their fingers burned, know not to trust him. His work is cheap but you end up paying more to correct the error/damage he causes.
