Lewis Fencing

We have used Lewis Fencing several times before for fencing work on a previous property and they've done an excellent job again, replacing wire fencing with closeboard panel fencing. Jim's a polite, friendly guy and nothing was too much trouble.

Great work guys would use again thanks

Jim and Dave did a fantastic job on our garden fencing. They were always punctual, friendly and put a lot of thought and care into the work. They quoted a fair price and went the extra mile to leave the space clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would definitely use them again and would recommend their services to friends and family.

We have employed Jim (Lewis Fencing) several times. For our latest project he once again provided a favourable quote at the outset, with no hidden charges on the invoice. Each time he does not disappoint and provides the same standard of excellence. His workmanship is first rate and goes above and beyond to ensure the project meets your expectations. Whilst being on time, friendly and approachable he is also professional and good communicator from start to finish. This time we needed a step down fencing area. He was patient and explained what needed to be done with his expertise and involved us at all times. We would both highly recommend Lewis Fencing. Thank you Jim for your support throughout our projects (all our fences look great). Steve & Christine

A first rate job 5 fencing panels replaced very friendly prompt clean and tidy job will highly recommend.

We recently had a new garden fence installed by Jim from Lewis Fencing and couldn't be happier. Jim is a complete professional—efficient, tidy, and clearly knows his craft. The work was completed quickly and at a very fair price. If you need fencing in Bournemouth, ask for Jim!

The second job Jim has done for us. Closeboard fencing to establish our boundary. Very professional, hard working and super nice chap, even working in the rain. Nothing too much trouble, sorts out any issues quickly and efficiently. Leaves site super tidy. Punctual. Couldn't fault anything and have no hesitation in recommending Lewis Fencing.

I would definitely recommend this company. Excellent work prompt, clean tidy, over and above. Excellent price

Jim and Dave from Lewis Fencing have just left having done amazing work erecting our fence. They have worked all day in constant rain. I can't speak more highly of their work, respect for my garden and the tidy way they have left everything both yesterday and today. They took away a lot of climbing plants that had to be cut down and even patient with my very territorial little Yorkie! I will never hesitate to recommend or contact them again should we need any further work. Linda & Ivan, Bearwood

A fast response to my enquiry, a reasonable quotation and the work completed to a high standard quickly thereafter.

"I’ve had many fencing projects done over the last 40 years, and I can honestly say that the work completed by Lewis Fencing is the best I’ve seen. Jim, the owner, is a true professional—punctual, knowledgeable, and meticulous. The quality of the materials and the precision of the installation are top-notch. I highly recommend Lewis Fencing”

Was not impressed Jim's attitude because my gates were damages in the last storm he felt it was below his dignity to repair them as to do so would affect his reputation. As far as I am concerned he did that all on his own by his arrogant attitude when I said I was unable to pay for new gates. I am a retired disable person on low income he felt I wasn't worth the effort to help just dismissed me when. I asked could he recommend anyone else. "Just ring round" in an off hand manor. If came I to money tomorrow would not use him or recommend him to anyone else.

Jim replaced some fencing in a very awkward area, he did the job well, he is very professional and I would recommend him to anyone. I will be having him to replace more fencing in the future. He is a very friendly person.

18/9/25 Originally made contact for a side panel fence and then Jim gave me a date. Turned up when he said; brilliant. His communication throughout either by call or text was great. I discussed further fencing and some posts. He was absolutely helpful giving options and guidance to the project, and he provided the price (that did not alter when sending the invoice) which was very competitive. He was tidy throughout and removed all the old fencing and posts. The quality of his work was faultless and would highly recommend his service. Totally professional. We definitely use Jim again for a future project. Thank you for your outstanding service. 31/10/25 Having Lewis Fencing previously for our projects we rated 5 star, and would give 10 if possible. Again Jim was totally customer focused looking at guidance and ways to resolve the issue of problematic tree branches and us wishing to increase the fence height. Jim advised us how to overcome this; great knowledge and communication. He turned up at the time he said, and his work ethic and workmanship is flawless. Always seeking the best for his customers; absolute professional, and we would highly recommend. We are looking at future project and would not contemplate using anyone else for these services, having used him twice previously and brilliant service he provides. Thank you Christine & Steve

Jim did an excellent job replacing an old damaged fence. Quality of the work was superb. Very friendly took time to explain what needed to be done and offer alternatives. Overcame an unforeseen problem promptly and efficiently .very happy to recommend his services.

I needed to replace a long line of boundary fencing which was beyond repair. Jim responded to my call and promptly arrived and offered excellent advice. He emailed me a quotation without delay. Jim installed the new fence expertly, and I am so pleased with the finished job.Top quality materials and service. I have to say Jim is super organised and an extremely tidy worker. He made the whole process stress free and it was a pleasure to deal with such a reliable, friendly and conscientious tradesman.

Great job expertly done for a fair price would highly recommend lovely man very helpful many thanks Jim .

Brilliant job amazingly quick Jim quoted me the day I called and was able to squeeze us in for a higher fence after we’d had uninvited visitors in the garden and began installation within a day. Couldn’t be happier the fence is well made and the job was tidy from start to finish he even made me a hedgehog gap. Lewis fencing is my go to I wouldn’t bother with anyone else.

Another example of great work from Jim. Working in difficult conditions on uneven ground, he managed to exceed our expectations. A competitive quote, great attention to detail and a lovely guy. What more could you ask for!

Absolutely fantastic job. Great communication throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Jim.

Repeat customer of several houses in my road over several years. Lewis Fencing provides a complete, expert service, from timely quotes to helpful advice and professional work. Always tidy, polite and accommodating Jim uses good quality products. He installed spurs, replaced panels and removed broken debris despite challenging weather. He tidied away everyday before leaving and gave the whole area a good sweep up removing bits of mud after replacing pots and garden accessories back to their original positions before finishing. Competitively priced and good start dates. I would recommend using Lewis Fencing for work, as I have done, several times, for a variety of jobs.

We used this company 10 years ago and they did a great job. Fast forward to May 2024 and Jim is still providing a first class service.

Jim fixed our flimsy fence that sits on top of a concrete wall. He came up with a great solution to keep costs down, and now the fence is rock solid and looks good too. He also left the place spotless once finished. Top class, highly recommended.

Used Lewis Fencing at my daughter’s house to repair fence . The old post was dug out and land made level.New fence hole dug and new post concreted in . Two panel with gravel boards fitted. All old fencing and rubbish removed from site. The completed fence looks amazing, probably due to his spirit level being constantly used. Nobody could have done a better job. Would strongly recommend Lewis Fencing for anybody requiring a professionally erected fence Ken Cope.

Had damaged wall knocked down and replaced with fence. Everything was cleared away and the fence looks fantastic. Jim is a friendly and polite person and I will have him again if needed.Would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks Jim

Jim from Lewis fencing replaced a fence that had blown down before Christmas. Not only did he simply replace old for new, he advised on the best method of retaining the adjacent concrete drive, the end blocks of which had sunk down. So instead of having just a replacement timber close boarded fence we now have a much stronger fence, supported by concrete posts with concrete gravel boards adjacent to the drive. Jim also stabilised a separate 2.5 m high fence, which was leaning dangerously due to high winds. This was done by installing concrete spurs and bolting them to adjacent to existing timber posts. Both jobs were done efficiently, on time and at the prices quoted. We are delighted with each and can thoroughly recommend Lewis Fencing and Jim who was polite and a pleasure to have working at our home.

Very professional polite consolidation. Estimate given and the Job completed in effective and efficient manner . Very clean and tidy workers. Would recommend and certainly use again as and when required.
