Solent Flooring

Great service! Excellent results.

Solent Flooring did a fantastic job from start to finish. Jason went above and beyond to help me source the exact floor I was looking for. He was really responsive and communicative and thought through all the complications of our job to ensure everything went smoothly. Jason and the guys on site really did go above and beyond to ensure we had an end result we're really pleased with! Would highly recommend.

Purchased a quick step laminate floor from this company and I am delighted with it. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. In fact the whole team was great right from when I called on speck at the shop and spoke to their advisor from which followed a visit from the owner and the floor being laid by an expert fitter at very short notice. A pleasure to do business with.

Beautifully Fitted Carpet I am so very Pleased Thank you so much also Vicky was Amazing great customer service I would recommend Solent Flooring.

Fantastic job they did, took care of all the preps & removal of old flooring. The quality, finishing & the fitters were elite 👌 👏🏻 many thanks for the amazing work 😀 ❤️

Solent Flooring recently laminated and put new carpet down in our new house. We were really keen to get the work done before we moved our furniture in and Solent Flooring were very helpful and flexible with us - we managed to time it so it was completed only four days after we got the keys! We are super happy, and would use again.

Such exceptional work and nothing was too much trouble. I had my whole entire house floored not only was it fitted perfectly they accommodated my tight time scale. They went above and beyond if you want a professional job done then look no further than solent flooring.

First class job Paul and Finley worked very well together and exceeded our expectations. Will certainly use this firm in the future.

Just wanted to say we were extremely pleased with our new flooring. It looks amazing. Good communication and advice from staff as well. Would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about Solent - very reliable and great communication when we got them to quote. They arrived when they said they would and did a great job - would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future

Incredibly impressed with Solent Flooring. Jake fitted a tricky, chevron pattern carpet on our turning staircase today perfectly. His attention to detail was incredible and he obviously takes great pride in his work. We are delighted with the result and unreservedly recommend this company. Great experience from start to finish.

I cannot recommend Solent Flooring enough! From the very first enquiry, everyone has been nothing but friendly, honest, flexible and professional. I have had flooring done throughout my whole property and the final product is incredible! Would recommend to anyone 😊

This is the second time I’ve used Solent Flooring, and they’ve been brilliant both times. Really professional from start to finish. Very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Solent Flooring to anyone looking for quality workmanship and great service.

Highly recommend Solent Flooring who have fitted laminate flooring to the downstairs of our home. Customer service from visit to measure up, choosing flooring at the showroom and ability to take samples home before ordering was first class. The fitters did a fantastic job- they were very tidy, helped move large items of furniture around and the workmanship and final result is fantastic. Thank you!

Excellent, sales service workmanship we are so pleased 😀. Jason came out to see us measured up and then opened the showroom on Bank Holiday Monday so we could chose our flooring, above and beyond! Chose Project Flooring to complete the kitchen lounge project, suspended flooring was screeded by the Solent flooring team well in advance... absolutely perfect, tidy professional guys... Jason called one day VERY apologetic as the product was being delayed by customs as made in Germany 😕.... Not his fault, he even asked of we wanted to come to showroom and maybe choose a different product! We stayed with Project Flooring range, Another fitting date made and all well, arrived on time, neat, clean, tidy, polite, professional lads, fabulous tradesman to be blunt. All complete on time and furniture back in, only problem.....its almost too good a job to walk on!! Perfect...see you again soon Solent Flooring 👍

Great job from the team at Solent Flooring. All aspects handled promptly from start to finish and a great looking floor at the end of the process!

We had a great experience with Solent Flooring. The team were super professional, always on time, and really knew their stuff. They coordinated our work in a way that made the whole process so much easier and less disruptive. They did an amazing job levelling the floors and making sure everything was finished perfectly. You can tell they really care about doing quality work. We're so happy with the results and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get flooring done.

48 hours from contact to fitted carpet… amazing service, fantastic job done and friendly staff. 100% recommend and I will be using them again.

Excellence in Flooring. Expert advice, perfect craftsmanship and very friendly service. Accurate and reasonable pricing. Couldn’t find better when I used them before, so I used them again!

I recently had my carpets fitted by Solent Flooring and I couldn’t be more pleased. Their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. Exceptional service—highly recommended!

I’ve now had two carpets supplied and fitted by the team at Solent Flooring and there’s not much else to say but they are excellent. The compact yet comprehensive showroom and the knowledge and expertise of everyone there makes for a carefully considered and appropriate choice of flooring. The politeness and expertise of the fitters should also be highlighted, offering their expert advice and guidance for future projects in my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring or considering options for future project.

Always a brilliant service. I’ve used Solent Flooring on a number of occasions. Excellent customer communication and always friendly and professional staff.

Great service. Friendly honest staff. Don’t usually use tradesman unless we get recommendation or know them personally but took a risk and contacted these guys and they’ve been brilliant - used them for two jobs now. Reasonable and fair pricing, and more importantly honest and nice people which is what you want when you have people coming to your house to do work. Highly recommend and will use again 👍

First class service from start to finish. We're really pleased with the results. Highly recommend 👍

Have used this company before to lay laminate flooring on the bottom floor of my home. I decided to go with them again for rest of my house as they did a fantastic job before. Once again they did a fantastic job and went the extra mile on a few things. This shows the attention to detail they go with the work and completed it within the suggested timeframe. I can't recommend them enough and will pass on their details to anyone that needs their flooring done whether that's laminate, vinyl or carpet.

Customer service 10/10

Not overally impressed, had a quote for the whole house and agreed to do one room and office before proceeding further. Once finished upon leaving i noticed the office carpet was not stuck down. You could pull the whole thing up with one hand! My partner phoned up the office for them to say i was not clear enough that it was going to be an office and they do not stick down or fit the carpets in cupboards they just lay. Myself and my mum as a witness was very clear from the start that the room was an office both of us communicated this with them. At first they did not offer to fix the problem. Later on we got a call back saying someone could fix the issue next week and they did come back to fix down the carpet which was appeciated. However, recently a few people have noticed what is like trash under our carpet. When you walk on parts its either a label or a packet crunching sounds. I would have thought for the cost before fitting the new carpet the team would have cleared the floor however with some guidance from others it looks like they left trash under the carpet which we now cannot remove without removing the whole thing. We are all for shopping locally however on this occasion its backfired on us. We have now decided to shop elsewhere for the rest of the carpets.

High reconmendatio n for Solent Flooring giving a friendly, swift, and reliable service, nothing too much trouble.

Thankyou Solent Flooring. The two fitters that came today (28th October 2023), were friendly and respectful, nothing was to much for them to do. After fitting the carpet they were very kind to offer to put my two bedroom draws back for me. This was a big help and they both left the room and stairs all clean an tidy. I will be using you again in the new year.

Solent flooring put down a new floor in our house after a major renovation. It was a complex job as floors between rooms were uneven and needed a lot of work. Jason was very patient with us, as the floor had gotten sodden whilst the roof was off and would not proceed until everything was dry. It was a long wait, but the finished floor is fantastic, extremely professional finish (thanks Paul!) and I would highly recommend you speak to them if you need new flooring as they will supply you with a high end finished floor for a competitive price.

Excellent service. Arrived when they said, helpful advice and very knowledgeable. A very good job.

Not very well marked up, followed google maps and gave up looking for the place. Needs more visible signage

We had project flooring laid by Solent and the finish is stunning. We had to raise the level of our floor in one room too and their preparation was perfection. Highly recommend. Friendly & professional fitters. Very tidy. 5*

A1

Excellent service from start to finish, made the whole process really easy. Jason came to quote and was so helpful and knowledgable and gave us a lot of his time running through all of our options. We're really happy with the carpets, they were fitted quickly and the guys fitting were really friendly and professional. We are slowly renovating our house and have a lot more that needs doing so we will definitely be using again!

Contacted Solent Flooring as they were recommended to me by a friend. Jason and showroom team were helpful, giving guidance to help me select suitable flooring for the rooms that came within our budget. Measurements taken quickly by Jason, again great advice given. The floors were in a dreadful condition and needed a lot of preparation. The schedule for this was discussed and agreed in order to fit in with our deadlines. Having Paul, Jason, Jason and colleagues in our home was a delight. They took every bit of rubbish away. They moved some of the preparation jobs around in order to accommodate other trades that kept messing us around. The finished Project flooring looks amazing, they did the most fantastic job. We will be using them again.

The team at Solent Flooring have been brilliant, they genuinely care about delivering their best for the customer. During our renovation they have achieved this with as little disruption as possible, when put to the test on a large domestic project they have not disappointed. Jason was attentive throughout and his team are equally as polite, skilled and diligent a genuine pleasure to have in our home. Good, honest contractors are hard to find and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Used them very recently, Jason was very helpful and was great at keeping in touch. Installation was efficient and delighted with our karndean kitchen floor. Highly recommended, great job!!!

Efficient and friendly. Had a bit of wait due to MOT computer not cooperating but not the testers fault. Would recommend.

These lads are a class act, not only are they super helpful & knowledgeable they also use excellent quality product combined with high workmanship. Jason from Solent Flooring come to our home to measure and give us a free quote, his customer service & Knowledge is second to done. You won’t be sorry if you use these guys.
